I could not recommend Discount Plumbing Rooter enough for your next plumbing job!

Efrain was such a delight to have in our home to fix a bad plumbing job!

Efrain's transparency and kindness are what bring me here to write this review. He walked us through what went wrong with the previous plumber (we found out that the previous guy used junkyard appliances) and showed us the brand new appliances he used to fix it. This was certainly a quality job and Efrain insisted that if we have any issues in the future, just give him a call!

Don't be a fool and book with Discount Plumbing!!!

best plumbing service i ever received IN Burlingame

We need to replace our garbage disposal and checked Discount Plumbing. Was able to set up an appointment for the next day. Carlos came on time and worked on replacing the disposal as well as the pipes connections. Carlos is professional and helpful, he explained we need to run warm soapy water every so often to keep the grease from clogging disposal and pipes clear. Thank you Carlos.

These are my go-to plumbers. Daniel is great, and so are his crew. I've used them a few times now, over the years for various issues. Here is why they are awesome:

Clogged Kitchen Sinks
Their plumber Mike, “Mr. Noodles” saved the day. The kitchen sinks in my house and my neighbor’s were clogged and won’t drain down the common drain pipe and options to clear the clog was limited. I can’t thank Mike enough for being persistent, stayed to get the job done and worked in a very tight spot [literally] to clear the clog. I’d use their services again and will definitely ask for Mr. Noodles!

I noticed water starting to form under our upstairs bathroom and decided to give discount plumbing a call for an assessment. Marcus came out diagnosed the issue as a section of the bathtub drain pipe after opening the ceiling. Throughout the work I felt a sense of professionalism and quality. No more leak, awesome work. Would recommend.

Angelo Gikas of discount Plumbing was amazing. He was professional and help me with a problem that for other plumbers could not help me with. I have a very unusual toilet and no one was willing to work on it. I highly recommend this place! Just like their advertisement says they get it right the first time!

Yesterday, our kitchen sink decided to regurgitate, so a plumber we set out to find. I found Discount plumbing from Yelp, and called this morning. They were courteous, fast, friendly and reasonably priced. Now my sink is feeling better and all is going down smoothly. All before 12:00 noon. Happy I found them. :)

By far the best service my family and I have received in years. Sadly for many years we’ve had an issue with our sewer. Hired multiple people and it always came back down to more money and nothing fixed. Today I had an unexpected issue with the kitchen sink and called Discount Plumbing, within 45m - a plumber, Efrain Palafox, was at my residence. He was helpful, quick, clean, gave me a good price, and curteous. And, the issue is resolved which is a big relief to me.

Highly recommend Discount Plumbing. Once they came based on my home insurance recommendation and they confirmed nothing was needed from a plumbing perspective and did not charge me. And they were right!

My bathtub drainage was leaking badly and the technician arrived the same day after I called them. Great service and reasonable price!

Had a backed up toilet and shower. LB arrived at my home promptly and quickly got to work diagnosing the issue with my drain. Once LB had identified the problem, they took the time to explain the issue to me in detail and outlined the steps they would take to fix it. LB was able to unclog the toilet and put a snake in the shower drain to quickly resolve the issue.

Our toilet had a problem (there's no water coming into the tank) and were not sure what's going on. We called Discount Plumber Rooter then they came within 30minutes with a reasonable quote. Once they came, they instantly diagnosed 2 valves are old and that caused of preventing water coming into the tank. We agreed on the price and they started working replacing 2 valves immediately. The discount plumber doesn’t honor one year labor and part free. Their invoice said clearly but when the water heater pilot off frequently, they could not fix. They had to let home owner call the manufacturer. They want to charge when manufacturer agree to give a brand new water heater within one year warranty….

DPR came out to my property this morning. There was some water bubbling up from the grass in my front yard and I couldn't tell if it was the water line or broken sprinkler. Angel came out to my property and identified the problem immediately, provided a very reasonable estimate, and started the work. It actually ended up being a broken main water line. The work was done in less than two hours.

We had a leak over the weekend and wanted to get it fix ASAP. We looked around for plumbing company’s and got multiple estimates. Discount plumbing came the same day, around the time they'd promised, and quickly identified the problem. It was a copper leak inside our walls. The plumber we had was Elmer the quote he had given us was about $2500 cheaper then the next lowest company he told us he couldn't fix the issue right away. So he shut off the water to the house and completed the job within 3 hrs.
We will definitely be calling Elmer back if we have any plumbing issue in the future

I had a great experience today with Antonio from Discount Plumbers. From the time I called, they had somebody over to my house within one hour ( the other plumbers I called wouldn't get somebody out to me for 3-4 days) and he immediately knew what the problem was. They had all the necessary parts in the truck and was able to fix my sink and leaking pipe right then on the spot. From the time I made the phone call to the time everything was fixed was under 2 hours and it was done for a good price. I would definitely give them a call again if I need work done, and I highly recommend their services.

Clogged drain, kitchen sink and bathroom backing up on a Saturday. Phone service very courteous. Tech, Roberto V. from the Burlingame office was able to come earlier than promised. Roberto was intelligent, efficient and a pleasure to work with. The price was slightly above average (according to the range estimated by Google) but considering the quality of the work done, I can sincerely recommend Discount Plumbing and Rooter.

Had a really bad smell in our bathroom. Called these folks up and they were able to schedule someone to come out the very next day (not an emergency for us) at a time that worked for me. The plumber was timely and professional. Took a look at the problem and ended up removing the toilet and replacing the seals. The smell went away but came back a few days later. Called them back and they sent another plumber out again, at my convenience. Again, professional and timely. He took a look and re-caulked the toilet thinking maybe there was still some seal that needed to be sealed. No charge for that call, which I appreciated. He said to call them back if the smell persists and he'd come back with his supervisor who's been in the business much longer and may have more experience diagnosing and discovering the mystery smell. Hopefully I don't have to call them back, but I will happily do so if needed. They have been really great.

Discount plumbing is the best, I had an emergency on Sunday morning and I called discount plumbing and had a plumber in my door in one hour. Angel was great, he explained why my sink was clogged and how he was going to take care of the problem. In 2 hours he had clear the sink and had everything really clean like if nothing happened.

Our kitchen sink drain was badly clogged so we called Discount Plumbing and they were able to send someone out within a couple hours. Carlos was an excellent plumber, very professional, and didn't give up on the tough clog until he had fixed it, even though it meant taking apart the pipes a few times. Saved us from having to drill into the concrete! Would definitely hire them again.

We had someone from Discount Plumbing come out on Saturday to clear our clogged drain in the kitchen sink. The guy who came was great. He just came out on a service call for me and what I needed him to do only took minutes to get done We walked through my house he looked at all my toilets, my water heater all my sinks garbage disposal and he fixed anything that he thought needed to be fixed. Something that he noticed on my water heater that I wouldn't have he repaired and it saved me from having a burst pipe which would've cost a lot of money. I just had a great experience with Connor who came in and quickly assessed the problem and gave me straightforward advice on my problem. I trust him completely. I felt that he gave me a range of options to what I could do from the temporary to the definitive but he honestly told me what I would likely need in the future.

Marcus went above and beyond, I suspected I had a leak in my water heater and when Marcus arrived for just an inspection he was able to get and install a new water heater the same day. He stayed til past 7pm working, then even came back the next day to clear out my sinks that were having major issues. I will only being Discount Plumbing Rooter now and have already told my neighbors about them

I would highly recommend Discount plumbing. Sam came to fix our leak and was extremely helpful and forthright, very professional. He was very efficient with his work and it was done literally in one day. He double checked everything. Water pressure is awesome now . Good clean water and will say it again amazing water pressure.
I was really happy with my experience with Sam from start to finish.

Called because two faucets were leaking from the base of the neck. They offered free in home estimate, which was great.

Repairman arrived, said he could fix one, but the kitchen would have to be replaced (mind you, this is a $1300 faucet). The quote given was $775 to fix one, and replace the other (I supply the new faucet). That seemed pretty high especially since I thought all they needed were new rubber gaskets...which of course I was correct. Two gaskets for each faucet.

Also: each repair took less than 30 minutes to perform.

The tools needed were an adjustable wrench $20, a hex key set $16, and four gaskets @ 0.80 each $3.20

Grand total total $39.20
Savings $2,000

I'll let you be the judge. But I think you have all the proof that you need that they actively rip off, and take advantage of their customers.

Fred was able to unclogged our drain outside the driveway and used camera to see what's going on with the pipes. It was worth it to see what was going on and there's a broken pipe and roots growing inside. He also honored the Yelp discount which is nice.

A big big shout out to Angel Briseno!!! We have a sewer lateral line replacement project. Angel provided a very competitive quote. I also really enjoyed the communication with Angel, very clear, efficient. The team also did a fantastic job doing the project, very professional all the way through. He was not only able to price match an estimate I had received previously, he was professional, courteous and efficient. Used a unlicensed handyman to clear a drain for us, two weeks later the drain is still clogged and the handyman’s response is… use Draino. Lesson learned, use a professional company like Discount Plumbing and Rooter who will do the job right and guarantee their work. Efrain came to our home to repair a kitchen faucet. Efrain was most professional, honest and efficient. We have had other plumbers who wanted to charge $500 to turn on a bathroom turnoff valve. Efrain is the most trustworthy plumber we have ever used in our over 20 years of living at our current location. Efrain is the BEST EVER!!!!!

From the moment Ephrain walked into our place I took some comfort in his attitude and demeanor... He troubleshot with us and ran a few sinks simultaneously to make sure he knew which line was clogged and why. There are a lot of people in life who don't really care to know the way things function together... especially small feats of engineering like moving water against gravity and utilizing pressure to make it do what you want it to do. Turns out that the massive amount of pressure on the water and sewage lines from Outside Lands Weekend Nonsense actually contributed more to our issue than even our worst suspicions of our roommate... Same habits, same practices... No back up. EFF you Outside Lands. Although our problem may have naturally dissapated... Ephrain was part of the support we needed.

Michael came over and quickly assessed we had a bigger problem on our hands than just a slow draining tub. He clearly explained that our issue laid further down to the p trap and that he would need to access piping in the wall to further assess and repair. During the repair, he was upfront with costs and very communicative, taking the time to explain the work and send pictures since we weren't able to be there in person. I would highly recommend working with him if you need their help!

Our kitchen faucet fell apart and was leaking slightly and we needed it repaired ASAP. We also had a shower clogged and had tried draino many times but it kept re-clogging. They were able to get someone out here within a day. Marcus was super professional and explained the problems and fixes to us, and their services were very affordable and fit into our budget. 5 stars, would absolutely use them again and recommend to anyone.

Overall I'm very impressed with Discount plumbing as a whole. I will definitely call them back for any future plumbing issues. My kitchen sink became clogged and would take an hour to drain. I made an appointment with Discount plumbing to have someone come in an clean it out. I spoke with Eda who arranged the appointment and later sent an email photo of Larry the day of the appointment. Larry arrived made his assessment, informed me of the price, and began work. After cleaning out the first 25 feet of greasy pipe it was still clogged. Larry had to bring in his 100 foot clog buster and got the clog around the 40 to 50 foot mark; a huge nasty chuck of hardened grease. Larry cleaned up the spilt greasy water and left everything as it was before he came

Cancelled their visit two days in a row. I received a 1 hour advance notice the first time. Second time they left me high and dry for the entire two hour block then called 20 minutes later and cancelled. Not recommended.

My hot water heater broke. I called Discount Plumbing Rooter and they assured me that they work on tankless water heaters. They sent a plumber the same day, who said he doesn't work with this model. He offered to send his co-worker this morning. The co-worker did not take the cover off or do any inspection at all, and announced that the whole unit needs to be replaced.

I wasted 24 hours and 2 appointments with Discount Plumbing Rooter. Did they have any intention of repairing my tankless water heater? Why didn't their dispatcher get more details? Why did one plumber send another plumber who was equally unwilling to diagnose or inspect the heater?

Contacting this plumber may be a huge waste of time for you, as it was for me. They delayed this urgent repair, which will be handled by a different company.

Discount plumbing really saved the day again!!This is my second time using the coming. Elmer was prompt, professional and fixed what felt like a major plumbing issue. We had a sewage leak coming from a pipe in our garage. Elmer is wonderful at his job and I feel certain we now have our plumbing company that we will use in the future.

Thanksgiving morning I was in desperate need when my kitchen sink clogged but my frantic nerves were immediately eased when the plumber said he was on his way. His professionalism and customer service was A+. I highly recommend this company for any plumbing need you may have.

Do not do business with this company. They are not reputable at all. A plumber came to my house today and told me that a valve replacement on a toilet would take 35-45 minutes and that he had the parts on his truck. He offered to do the job for $450, but would give me a discount of $75 if I gave him a good review on Yelp. No plumber charges over $600 per hour. I asked him to leave. He asked me what I would be willing to pay and continued to try to haggle with me. I had to ask him three times to leave my house.

Arrived on time. Robert was my plumber and seems very competent and knowledgeable.
