Tech came for a Kitchen sink plug and repair. He was clear, concise and polite. I just paid for estimate. The two quotes I received for the work were unreasonably expensive. Will try to find a more affordable option.

My Sewer was clogged up with roots, Mo and Juan Showed up within an hour and were able to deal with it within an hour they were great.

Good communication, fair price, flexible, knowledgeable. There was a flood in my basement. I used them to root it out. There was a delay on Sunday because 1 tech was out sick. They kept in contact with me and arrived first thing on Monday. They also looked at my sewer with a camera to see if there was any damage, didn't charge me the full amount because they couldn't get the camera all the way in given the state of my P trap.

Daniel showed up on time 9 a.m. Thursday, cleared out the tree roots that seem to be the cause of the clogged garage to street drain, and tested it afterward. The entire job was done in under an hour. Very professional. The job was done with 60 day service warranty (one service recall). My wife was very happy with the job performance.
The cost is high in my opinion at $365/hour. Daniel did tell my wife about the cost/hour upfront and the wife did agree to it. I am open to any correction on my perception on cost since I do not know current typical average rate. My prior data points were that these kind of jobs should be in the $100-150 range, and I am willing to pay up to $200.

Had a great experience working with Connor on several plumbing issues throughout the house. He was able to get to work immediately after coming over to take a look and provide a quote, and the work was quick and quality! Would definitely use them again for future plumbing tasks.

The guy was great. Found the leak…. A cracked pipe. Took pictures and provided an estimate by that afternoon and accommodated our schedule for the repair work. We would definitely call them again

These guys were great. I called them out initially do to a test only for the Oakland sewer lateral compliance program. My line failed miserably and I ended up hiring them to replace my sewer line instead. They only charged me for the replacement! They were quick efficient and clean. I would do business with them again

Smelly Mel’s is an on-time plumber, excellent service, and very knowledgeable. Because of the way our building’s water supply is set up it wasn’t an easy task, but Bob was up to it and going forward we don’t have to worry about the building’s supply issue. No more shutting down the whole building for any work done on our unit. Yay!

I've used these guys twice. They arrive as a team and are completely honest about what can be DIY. First was a free estimate / debugging, and we were able to solve it on our own. The second time we couldn't do it ourselves, and they came first thing in the morning. Note that the estimated arrival times were off by an hour, so just be patient and allocate the additional waiting time because it's worth it.

Efrain was great! I would highly recommend him. He was friendly and courteous. He introduced himself at the front door, covered his shoes and gave me a fair and honest assessment of my bathtub and toilet plumbing issues. He fixed both quickly and promptly. Very professional. Thank you Efrain!
