These guys were great. I called them out initially do to a test only for the Oakland sewer lateral compliance program. My line failed miserably and I ended up hiring them to replace my sewer line instead. They only charged me for the replacement! They were quick efficient and clean. I would do business with them again

I called for a sewer clog and was told that I needed to replace the main drain told them to hold off and came back and started to break up my sidewalk with out having permission to start.got a second opinion and was told nothing was wrong with my pipes got fixed.they are trying to charge me 10,000 for a simple drain clog

Wow! These guys are truly professionals. They were SO responsive and kept me in the loop on when they would arrive and what they were going to do before they did the work. David was the technician and he brought Yannik who was new. We needed to remount and reseal our guest toilet to the floor. They did the work quickly and it's good as new. They even answered my other plumbing questions and didn't try to upsell me on other services.

They are pretty pricey (total came out to ~$500) but there's a one year warranty on the service. And I really appreciated their communication and reliability. You can tell they are passionate about their work, and I would use them again in the future.

Basilio and his crew did a FANTASTIC job... ...sure, he's brief and to the point, which I don't mind at all.... ...but again, they were perfect.

We had a non-emergency situation, which required a trench less approach... ...which, if you haven't seen done before, is really cool.

Our line ties in with the neighbor, and we share from the wye out to the main... ...while the hold was dug, the neighbor decided to have his portion replaced as well, and Budget sewer did not mind this scope creep AT ALL.

Finally, they lined the pipe from the eye out to the main, providing the neighbor and I a brand new line from homes to sewer main.

Would I recommend AB Plumbing? ABSOLUTELY!!! These guys are top notch, and if you end up using them, I hope you receive the same quality service.

Communication from discount plumbing was excellent. Brian was right on time, quickly diagnosed the issue, and was able to install a replacement.

I came home from shopping and found water pouring out of my garage. Upon opening the garage door, I found that my water heater was leaking badly, with water running along the floor and out onto the street. Panicking, I found Smelly Mel’s phone number and called them. They told me who would be coming and when. Donnie came out within 1/2 hour and told me that my water heater’s jacket had failed, causing the problem. He had a spare water heater in his truck and installed it within 2 hours. Donnie was great, explaining what he was doing and showing me where the hot and cold water lines were on the heater, how to turn off the water, etc. They sent my receipt to my email, along with the pictures Donnie took. I definitely recommend Smelly Mel’s!
