Javier C was my plumber technician for this sewer repair. He is so professional! He made sure we understood what the problem might be before setting to work. It did turn out to be my tree roots blocking the sewer pipe. He cleaned it out and explained the process afterwards. He was such a great pleasure to work with. Thank you, Javier and Works Plumbing!

Called a plumber out to help me figure out where the leak was. Turns out two of the toilets were running when I was out of town. The techs solution was to replace the parts 2k or replace the toilets 4K and was pushing me to replace the toilets because who knows other parts might fail and I’ll have to replace the toilet in a month anyways. The 4 k price includes 2 toilets plus install and takeaway. I asked them how many hours this would take and what’s their hourly charge and material costs. And his response was we charge by job. I told them to email me the estimate which they never did. And when he left I went on Home Depot’s website and they charge 20 dollars for the parts to replace, 100-300 dollars for the toilet and Home Depot will install each toilet for 315 each. So even if I did go the route of two new toilets plus install and take away that’s still $1200. 4K for that same job is highway robbery. And I get it plumbers will often charge 4x more for an emergency call but this wasn’t an emergency call issue since I already had called the water department to turn off the water and had the water turned off at the main. And when I found out it was those two toilets I had turned off the water to those bathrooms. So there was no emergency and they weren’t offering to do it same day to fix my problem.

These people are either crooks or the tech gets paid hourly and was just killing time giving me an outrageous number while sitting in his van pretending to write up an estimate he never sent me. Because he had me wait a good 20 minuets before his estimate was “ready” to talk about.

Highly recommend! Leki was very helpful and very kind. He did an excellent job and I'm so happy my sink is draining again! Highly recommend Mr. Rooter if ever in need.

This is my first time ever leaving a review. I am so thankful for One Sources help at 4:30 am I had to share it. I woke to water coming from the kitchen upstairs through the lights in my downstairs bathroom. A pipe malfunctioned on the dishwasher and was flowing onto the kitchen floor and then flooding the kitchen. I frantically called 4 plumbers who said 24hr service but it turns out they just have an answering service and I was told someone would get back to me. No one did. The 5th company was One Source and he talked me through how to shut off the water which turns out to be pretty easy if you know where to look. I wasn't charged anything and it was just a very nice decent thing to do for someone at that ungodly hour in the morning. Thank you, Thank you!!

I have finally found a professional plumber who does the right thing. Matteo is the best. Nothing more is need to be said.

The work quality was ok. It took longer than it should have given it was just shower head installation. To be fair it was a bit tricky job but that's why I hired a professional and not a cheap one either. At that price I expected them to carry washer and Teflon tape, they had neither. I had to provide the tape because there was a bit of leak after the first installation. As I said it was ok, a bit pricy but definitely not 5 star.

My business had a simple broken mixer, we reached out to Roto-Rooter on Monday and had an appointment scheduled for Tuesday 8am-12pm.

1. They no-call, no-showed first appointment
2. We called and they said they would be in that afternoon.
3. They then rescheduled to the following morning Wednesday 8am-12pm
4. They no-call, no-showed third appointment
5. I called and said Hi, if you're unable to make it I can totally find another plumber. they said No, someone will be in before 5pm today
6. They no-call, no-showed FOURTH APPOINTMENT
7. When we called them for a final time, they said they couldn't arrange anyone until SATURDAY... and that it was outside of their control.

So, essentially they strung us along with an unfixed issue for 4 days when we could have easily reached out to another provider. Then sent a text saying it was it couldn't be helped due to staffing issues beyond our control

RIDICULOUS, UNPROFESSIONAL, DON'T USE.

Definitely did good work and the techs were professional. The price though was pretty high, especially for a company named Discount Plumbing. I am a contractor and I known what things cost, but in this case we needed a licensed plumber to do it right away.They did a good job, but they charged a lot for it.

Excellent service. Ryan Clark was very prompt and extremely professional. He took the time to explain everything to me and stayed late. I would highly recommend his service.

I had a water heater replaced by Baron back in 2008. Picked him because he was a straight shooter, willing to give me a quote over the phone. He was on time, did impeccable work, and charged me exactly what he said he would. The water heater is still going strong today. My Yelp review and hundreds of others back up the quality of their work and service. Those 5-star reviews are not fake. I recommend him every chance I get.

I dont know why our water heaters always break on the weekend, or a holiday, but they do. But not a problem - found the garage flooded at around 9:00 last Saturday & had a new water heater by 5:00, thanks to R&L.

I can't say enough about what a great job Angelo and his crew from Discount Plumbing did with our rental home in Oakland. Angelo called me right away to set up a next day estimate. He and his crew were on time and very thorough. originally, it look like it was going to a straight forward trenchless project and Angelos's quote came in well below several other bids.

Angelo and the crew got to work on time the next day and we were lucky enough to get the once in a blue moon plumbing disaster. A city tree had a root that grew into the line and ran over 52 feet to the house from street. Angelo called me right away and kept myself and my up-to-date with multiple messages as our simple trenchless project turned into a massive multiple trench sewer excavation. After seeing the extensive work that had to be performed it was an incredible relief when Angelo gave us the additional expense from the original quote which was incredibly reasonable. At this point we were at his mercy and I felt that he made sure that he didn't take advantage of the situation. In this day I think this type of honesty is hard to come by and it almost brought me to tears.

Angelo and his crew worked long hours for two days on our little sewer project and they we so professional. The kept the area as clean as possible and communicated clearly with my neighbors, my renter and myself. Angelo was so extremely helpful and positive even as the project got bigger and bigger.

We found Discount Plumbing through all of the fantastic BBB and we could be more pleased than with the support, They earned my highest recommendation and I mean earned it!
