I would like to get a refund of the $89 I paid to have my drain cleared. Here's why....Your offer of $89 was more than the cost of renting a machine from Home Depot but enticing since it would save me the time and effort of picking up and returning the rental and cleaning the drain myself. I decided to go ahead with the offer.The technician, Xxxxxxxx (nice guy), used a 3/8 inch cable and by his words only ran it 15 feet. He didn't want to use the other router he had on his truck, that has a 1/2 cable and didn't want to press the 3/8 inch cable further. As a result the drain didn't clear.The supervisor, Xxx, told me the drain required HydroScrub® jetting and it would cost $1189. He offered me a discount bringing it down to $900.Knowing from past experience, renting a 1/2 inch cable router machine from Home Depot and running the cable 20 to 25 feet clears the drain, I declined Noe's recommendation.So the next day I went to Home Depot, rented a 1/2 inch cable router, ran it 25 feet and sure enough it cleared out my drain.The above are the facts.As far as interpreting why this played out the way it did I'm sure there are many, mostly unfavorable assumptions, many customers would make. I will say I'm left with the uncomfortable feeling that the company policies of Mr.Rooter are geared less toward service than profits.

Overall, Rooter Hero Plumbing provides prompt service initially. I initially provided 5 stars in a visit a year ago when Michael, our first plumber, replaced our water heater. Within a couple hours, our family was able to enjoy nice hot showers again.This time around, in early September, Gil & Jacob, replaced all 3 toilets in our household. Unfortunately, they left poo stains on my bedroom wall and through the staircase when they removed two of the upstairs bathroom toilets. To make matters even worse, I noticed that there was a leak going into a downstairs bedroom even time the toilet flushed. They came a couple days later to reseal the toilet a second time.Two weeks later, I found another leak in the master bedroom toilet. The toilet was not properly sealed. I’ve contacted Rooter Hero once again. They provided me a time window the next day between 11am-1pm. No plumber showed up and I had to contact the office another time. They responded that the previous plumber was not available and another will come out at 3:30pm. This new plumber, Max, did not show until 430pm. They basically wasted my entire day of waiting. Max resealed the 2nd toilet as well as checked the 3rd toilet for any issues to hopefully avoid a 4th visit.The manager did call Max while he was working on it and another time before when Gil had to come back the 2nd time.I’m hoping that there’s no other issues as the toilets are under warranty. The plumbers have been nice and courteous, but I rather take my business with another company that provides quality and thorough service the first time (not after the 3rd visit).

Our technician Ryan, responded to my text message within minutes on Wednesday and made an appointment for the following Friday. He was on time, quickly diagnosed the issues with our “sticking cold water handle and drain stopper in the bathroom and water shut off valves under the kitchen sink and fixed them. Ryan was very personable and professional. We found his repair cost to be fair and reasonable. He will be the first one we call for any future plumbing needs and will pass his name on to friends and relatives.

Sergio and Levi were professional, polite and very competent. They went above and beyond expectations making a very tiresome problem a pleasant fix. The fix was more complicated than expected and the extra effort was greatly appreciated. Thank you for everything.

They've served my family well, both on large below slab sewer and pipe lining projects and small important upgrades to shower cartridges. Eric and Tony were fantastic. Friendly, communicated well and HONEST. There ended up being nothing wrong with my toilet and sink (Airbnb guests had complained) except for user error - trying to flush too much toilet paper and not removing the small drain in the sink. They checked, joked about it with me and made sure everything was functioning correctly prior to leaving. When I do have an actual problem, I’ll be calling them again!

Fernando and his employees were prompt, professional, cleaned up after installation. They answered all my questions to my satisfaction. Would highly recommend ARS plumbing.

We called to have someone check out multiple issues we needed: our gas line to the stove recessed, a refrigerator hose in a new area, a garage sink install and laundry p-trap fix. They were prompt, Covid safe, and the next day we had a fair price. We were flexible with our schedule so we said whenever they had the time and less than a week later it is done! They are very clean, great at communicating any possible issues that all construction work can have, not pushing “up sells” and won’t take a payment unless you like the work. We are very pleased. As we remodel our kitchen we are calling them back.

I had a plumbing issue that I couldn't figure out on my own, so I called this company. They were able to diagnose the problem quickly and fix it in no time. The plumber was very courteous and knowledgeable, and the price was reasonable. I would definitely recommend them.

Don’t go to this people. They’ll charge you over $100 telling you what you need and don’t even do any work themselves.
