I first used ARS when my upstairs toilet had a sewage leak that had seeped all the way down to my garage. Fernando and his crew were prompt, responsive, and professional. They only did the services that were necessary, never tried to “upsell” me with unwanted services, and remained friendly and courteous even when my (awful) home insurance company refused to pay anywhere close to the full amount of the estimate. They came back again last month to troubleshoot a faulty water heater. Fernando said that since I was a repeat customer, they would not charge if it was a quick fix even though all the other plumbing companies were going to charge at least $190 just to come out and take a look. It ended up being more than a quick fix (they had to do a flush of the system), but I really appreciated the loyalty to repeat customers. Suffice it to say, ARS will the first company I call the next time I have a plumbing issue in my home. Thank you Fernando and thanks to your professional crew!

I called ARS Neighborhood Rooter and Plumber for backed up toilets. Fernando answered the phone and informed me that he couldn’t come out the same day but would be out the next day at 8 o’clock. He came out ran some tests and found out that we had a collapsed sewer system. I told them to go ahead and do the work and they did a fantastic job. They had to dig up our front yard that we just had landscaping done but when they were finished you would never know they were ever digging in the front yard. Fernando and all of the workers were very polite and friendly. The process took several days but we were informed of that ahead of time. So next time you have a plumbing problem give ARS Neighborhood Rooter and Plumber a call you won’t be disappointed.!

I had an upstairs toilet leak late Saturday night. I called a few “24 hrs emergency “ plumbers and either got no answer or was told it was a quiet night so they let everyone off. Fernando of ARS answered and said he’d be right over and he was! He stopped the leak, replaced parts, shared friendly banter and was on his way. We were (are) so grateful. He even checked on us the next day and gave us tips on how to fix the water damage. Would definitely use ARS again for ANY plumbing needs, especially for emergencies

I had an emergency flood situation in my laundry room coming from an upstairs bathroom. I called a few plumbers prior to ARS to address the problem but didn't find what I was looking for. ARS answered the call and responded with the urgency that I needed. They quickly found and fixed the cause and then did a great job returning everything back to it's pre-flood condition. I needed help on a Sunday. I called a few places and they didn’t seem too interested about helping on a Sunday. I called this business spoke to Fernando and he said he would be out to take a look. He came in the morning he was professional and polite. He took the time to answer all my questions which I really appreciated. This is a locally owned business located in the South Bay. If anyone in the Southbay is looking for a good honest plumber I would highly recommend!

We had a small leak in our master bathroom which was beginning to show up in our dining room below. I called AR and spoke with Fernando about my problem. He sent out two of his guys, Eduardo and Juan, who were already in the Eucalyptus Ridge complex area working on someone else's unit. Eduardo and Juan came in, checked out the situation, and explained to me every thing that was going to take place, and the cost of the job. The job was theirs.The next day they showed up with tools in hand and ready to conduct business. About mid-way through repairing the leak, I requested they install a walk-in shower for me. Phoned Fernando to inform him of my intentions. No Problem. Mid-way through the shower installation, I requested they replace the present flooring with vinyl. Once again, No Problem.These guys were amazing. No matter what was asked of them they took care of it. The entire process from inspecting the leak to laying down the vinyl flooring was flawless. The new shower and flooring are awesome.I am pretty sure I will be using them in the future.Fernando, you did a great job in who you hired. A direct reflection of the boss, himself. didn’t finish the job .excess dirt on the side of my house with rocks.broke up concrete and didn’t repair it. entered home while no one was home without asking. didn’t re install washer and dryer, left garage dirty. only reason it’s threestars is because the actual pipe they fixed was good.would not recommend or use this company again.

I am selling my home and a home inspection revealed an active leak from the upstairs bathroom. Escrow was closing in 2 weeks and I needed a repair fast. I called AR Plumbing and Fernando came out on a Friday, gave me an estimate and started the following Monday even though it was a holiday. The source of the leak was identified and repaired the same day. Stucco and drywall access was restored a few days later and looks great. I highly recommend AR Chula Vista Plumbing and Drain.

We've used AR twice, once for a leaking hot water heater that needed replacement that day. They did that very professionally that same day (I called late morning, it was done by 5 pm). We also had some evaluation and work on our water regulator valve and some shower fixture install work. All done professionally and all explained to us.

Awesome service..Very professional but super friendly at the same time I felt as though I knew him for much longer than just today. Showed that he cared to fix my plumbing problem and not just rush through it. To unclog the toilet I thought was a really good price already. But my toilet was messed up and so we had to buy a new one. The guy took the time to go with me to Home Depot and help me purchase one. He carried it for me and everything. Replaced my old one with the new one and it's working great and for that I thought was a really good price as well. Thank you!!!!

They came to repair a leak and did a great restoration that repaired water damage. Also found underground deterioration drains and sewer pipes. Complete bathroom update repaired and restored all damaged flooring. Now everything is done and way better than new. Thanks to Fernando and crew.
