We had a few outlets that always tripped, and a couple that weren’t working anymore. We had called a few other places and were treated rudely, and told we needed to reset the GFCI. Dave came out, located a few problems, showed us the pictures of the broken outlets and meter readings, and got everything resolved for us. Very thorough and easy to work with!

We called McQuillan Brothers out to snake a clogged toilet for us. The tech arrived and without even attempting to unclog the toilet, he said it was our main line that needed to be cleared. Nothing else was clogged or backing up in the house. The floor drain was also clear. He then tried to sell us a membership and quoted over 1200 to drill out the main drain. I declined and called another provider. It was just a clogged toilet. Too bad we had to pay a service call fee to a company that is more concerned on selling memberships and 'bigger' jobs. We'll stick with the honest ones.

I have been a customer for a few years now. I'm apart of the monthly Comfort Care plan. Just recently had Richard take care of a leaking sink. I believe they have fair prices and have not over sold me on services. I recommend trying them. Thank you Richard for you expertise!

I had a bathroom faucet that had been a problem since I updated my old pipes to copper. I ordered new parts but never got around to fixing it. More than I could handle. Adam did a fantastic job assessing the problem step by step and explaining as he did the work. I am so grateful for Adam's attention to detail and willingness to fix the problem. Thank you Adam, you are AWESOME!

We had Nick out to repair a constantly filling toilet, a loose kitchen faucet, and a leaking vintage shower handle. It was a great experience - Nick was timely, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Everything you’d look for with a service call. Even though he had no idea what was waiting for him, he was able to make all the repairs in the spot and helped us weigh the costs/benefits of different approaches. The best part was the value he placed with the quality of our vintage hardware and keeping them in good running order as part of the esthetic of the house. Would absolutely request Nick for future calls and would recommend him for anyone considering a great plumber.

Nate did a great job - he came in to disconnect our oven and dryer and added new gas shut off valves to get us up to code. Was a very smooth experience.

When our wall mounted boiler (radiant floor heat & hot water supply) suddenly went out I searched for someone familiar with this technology and Krinkie's was listed on the manufacturer's web site. They responded immediately and the tech who arrived was able to diagnose the problem, it turned out that the itemized cost to repair was not worth sinking into equipment that was beyond expected lifetime. He arranged for Joe, Master-Plumber, electrical wizard and all around engineering wizard to provide an estimate for replacement with design tweaks to enhance system and cut energy costs. They installed the system the next day (Saturday) and have since upgraded/replaced our thermostats to Alexa-enabled, remote-sensing Ecobee's that provide incredibly easy-to-use zone heating throughout the house. It's pure luxury to adjust temps anywhere via Alexa and to be able to monitor our home's temperatures, humidity and air quality from anywhere. I can highly recommend all of the technicians at Krinkie's and am blown-away by the depth of knowledge and technical prowess of Joe specifically!

We paid $200 for a technician to come tell us we needed a new AC unit (duh). We scheduled anyways to have a new AC unit to be replaced by Apollo. On the day the tech was on his way to our home to take measurements, he called and told us the price has gone up by $700. We scheduled last week! It’s only been a week! Apollo, come on! Can’t you honor your own quotes? How can your price jump almost $1000 within a week of us agreeing to your fist quote for your services? We are dumbfounded

Nate was great at explaining how the K5 drinking water filtration system functioned. He worked with us as far as where the location of the tanks could go and showed us how to access everything. The way the system was installed allowed us to still have the storage underneath our sink for cleaning supplies and such. Nate was able to put the housing of the filters in our pantry and then connect it to the refrigerator. Nate was very kind and courteous, and made sure to clean up after he had to drill through the granite and drywall in order to access our refrigerator to tie the drinking system into the refrigerator. Can’t wait to have awesome water come through the fridge and ice machine!

I called Soderlin Plumbing because they have been around South Minneapolis for years. From the first call, to problem solved, I was impressed.
The issue was, I have had such horrible water pressure going to my outside water faucet for years. My sprinkler was only able to get about 3 feet high.
Ken came over and assessed the issue within 10 minutes and recommended a solution. I agreed and he got to work. Ken was trustworthy and experienced. I am 100% pleased with the results and I no longer have sprinkler envy of my neighbors. Thank you so much Ken!

Waited two weeks for an estimator to come out only to get a voicemail one hour before the appointment saying that the company doesn’t work in multi family buildings. I came to St. Paul Pipeworks because they were recommended by a smaller plumber who only does single family, which I explained. Very unprofessional and disappointing service.

*Update for clarity: there is no special equipment required, the job is a PVC drain pipe replacement.

I called late on a Sunday evening because one of our bathroom sink valves inexplicably broke and was spraying water all over the bathroom. I expected them to charge an arm and a leg for an emergency visit but Ken calmly talked me through a quick fix that would hold us over until Monday morning when a technician could come during regular hours. Our tech, Corey, came over right away on Monday morning and fixed the issue. Ken saved us hundreds by talking me through a fix instead of sending someone and Corey was awesome and fixed the pipe within 30 minutes. I was blown away by how quickly they were able to respond and help. I highly recommend!!!

Kurt installed a water heater for me in my very small furnace room. He was fast efficient, very courteous and knowledgeable. He checked everything before he started making sure it would be done right. I’m very happy with the work he did.

I am a maintenance technician for a property. I fix HVAC units and there are times when I too need help and the first company I call to be honest is Cities 1. I've dealt with other companies but after my experiences with Cities 1, I promise I'll never call anyone else ever again.
From the very first phone call to every single technician that has come out to service/fix our units it is a pleasurable experience. The gal scheduling the appointment is extremely courteous, helpful, professional and always wants to help you. What else I really like is she seems knowledgeable too. The technicians are almost like old friends that come to help you out. They are personable, friendly, obviously incredibly knowledgeable and they share their expertise with you and explain what they did/are doing. What's more is they seem to always remember me too and I really like that.
I honestly am thankful for Cities 1. I refuse to call anyone else because they are so great. Thank you Cities 1.

I called AJ Alberts Plumbing at 7:30 AM after having the delivery guys of our washing machine say they could not install our washer due to corrosion on our water shut off valve. AJ plumbing said they could work us in and was there by 9:30 AM. They were very nice, informative and professional. Will keep their number for any future plumbing needs!

WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DONE BUSINESS WITH!! SHEILA the customer service rep who handles the scheduling and service calls is the most absolutely RUDE AND Unprofessional person i have EVER dealt with through a company that is supposed to be a company who provides a service.
