Every time I called, they picked up with extremely friendly customer service (from several different employees). They had to order parts -- which did take some time -- but called me back when the parts were ready.

Scheduling the service was flexible, and the technician / repairperson arrived exactly on time and was extremely professional and courteous. The quality of work is exceptional. And they're local! (posting from Woodbury).

Bob repaired an outdoor spigot (water flooding our front yard) and discovered a failing water heater in the process, which he then replaced. All work was performed on the same day I called for service. Skillful, careful, customer-oriented plumbing at a fair price - amazing! This is the third service visit for us from A. J. Alberts, and we have been impressed every time they come out, which is why we have scheduled a fixture replacement project in the near future.

Our 19 year old water heater started leaking. Called several plumbing companies for estimates. A.J. Alberts was quick to respond, gave a quick and great price estimate. Colin came out and did a great job installing, and left the place very clean. We've used A.J. Alberts on a couple different instances and I can very highly recommend them!

We’ve needed AJ Alberts services a number of times as our home began to show its age. Our experiences with them started with small jobs as shutoff valves seized, hose spigots froze and shower handles broke. They became our “go to” for anything plumbing because of their reasonable pricing coupled with professional staff doing great work.

Later, as we aged and were financially able, we moved onto remodeling our kitchen and three bathrooms. We knew we landed on a great general contractor when I saw he also saw AJ Alberts as his “go to” sub-contract plumber. We experienced the same great service each and every visit throughout as we always had.

Our technician, Bob, was very helpful to explain my options to install plumbing for an in ground sprinkler system. He said he could get the job done same day or another appointment- no pressure to decide.
We chose to go ahead with the job and we were very pleased with the results and the effort to minimize the disruption to our home. From set up to clean up Bob was very thorough. After the job he explained what was done and gave us tips for usage. All star performance.

I had work done at my home today and I can't say enough nice things about the man that came to do the work. Efficient, careful, clean.....and explained things. Wanted me to check when he was through prior to getting a bill. We have used your company in the past and again, very pleased. We will surely recommend your firm. And if we have future needs, your company will get the call. Even though he introduced himself, I failed to get the name.

I have to say the bill was a pleasant surprise as well. We had several areas that needed work and a new garbage disposal. Kudos to a great company and great staff.

Living in a townhome association, we were all informed of a resident dealing with an unforeseen incident, as a result of the water pressure/incoming water pressure valve. Colton and Tyler diagnosed this being a potential issue for me today and replaced my non-functioning water pressure valve, which exceeded the expected lifespan and the water pressure exceeding the recommendation. I was so pleased with their work, in addition to selecting everything above, concerning what I appreciated about them and this business! Thank you again, as well as the office staff, in giving me this quality experience and peace of mind!

Just got off the phone with Scott from AJ Alberts. I realized last night that some of the work they did under the sink in our brand new kitchen has been fallen apart and must have been leaking over the last weeks. I called expecting to receive help but was only told that first they wouldn't have any availability and second they only guarantee their work for one year. After that time, it seems to be OK for AJ Alberts that their work is falling apart and their customers have to deal with the damage this is causing. A company that takes pride in the quality work they do, should have a better response for their customers, even past official warranty time. I do not recommend this business.

We always used A J Alberts and were very happy. They used to have fix prices for standard work and service was always professional. In our recent experience, they changed to a time-based cost model and the plumber took 2 hours to set a toilet and connect a sink. I checked after he left and the faucet handles were not centered and the chain inside the toilet’s water tank was not connected properly. The store prices for hardware and equipment are far from competitive as well. Too bad, we hope A J Alberts finds a way to get back on track.

Scott was very helpful in getting a water heater for us when ours went out. The plumber that did the work was Zach. He was awesome. He replaced our water heater, fixed our toilet and took care of a knocking noise in our water pipes. I highly recommend AJ Alberts for any plumbing problems and I would definitely use them in the future.

Working with AJ Alberts was great - from coordinating and discussing options with Matt to installation with Zach and Matt, everything was seamless. We had a heat-pump water heater installed, which is a less common water heater, and Matt was knowledgeable and helpful in making that decision. You can't go wrong with AJ Alberts!

We recently hired Alberts Plumbing based on the reviews but were very disappointed with them. We had them come 2 times. WE had few leaking faucets, a bathtub faucet handle that need to be replaced, and the kitchen sink overflowing between 2 sinks. The first time the technician came he could not fix anything because he said the parts need to be ordered. He then went and wrote a invoice for the 1 hour charge. Lucking we had a new faucet at home and asked him to replace for that one hour time he was at our house. The second time, he came with the parts, he fixed a leaking faucet and added a washer to the bathtub fixture. but was unable to fix other things. Our kitchen sink was overflowing from one sink to the other most of the time, and we had to always run the garbage disposal to clean the water in the pipe. When we asked the technician, he said that there is no solution to this. We also had to replace our bathroom faucet handle and the technician could not remove the screw to replace the handle. When I talked about this to my coworkers, they said that these things should be easily fixable by plumbers. I was very disappointed to hear this and will not hire them again.

The fan unit went out on my 10 year old hot water heater. Because of other recent expenses, I did not want to replace the water heater at a cost of over $2,400. Scott led me to a company which sells and services replacement parts. I was able to find the part and have it installed for $505. AJ Alberts has done plumbing projects for me in the past - great company!

They really were amazing, called about a leaking toilet at 330pm, Zack, the plumber, was on site by 415pm! All fixed by 445pm!

Great service, highly recommend them for any of your plumbing needs! We were able to get an appointment scheduled within a couple days for some valve replacements - Bob arrived on time and once he examined the valves in question he provided a thorough explanation of what needed to be done and provided the quote. His work was high quality and he answered all our questions along the way, he is very knowledgeable and friendly and we are very happy with the result.

We needed a grab bar, shower trim & faucet installed within a 2 week period before our guests were to arrive. Scott @ AJ Alberts kept me informed of when the parts would arrive and even offered to use his display grab bar when there was a delay in shipping from another company. We just called AJ Alberts Plumbing for the first time and will definitely call them for our future plumbing needs. The service was scheduled for a day and a half after I called (as opposed to over a week wait with other plumbers I called). Zach worked very efficiently taking care of two problems simultaneously so he could get the work done in one hour, saving us labor costs. He was up-front with cost estimates and best/worst case scenarios. He was professional and we're very satisfied with his workmanship. I also felt COVID safety for the workers and homeowners was a priority.

I have used Alberts plumbing on three separate occasions, two of them being emergency leaks, one water heater the other a kitchen drainage pipe. In both emergencies, someone was out at our house within the hour. The quality is great, but the responsiveness and quick turnaround is why I will continue to use and refer this company to my family and friends.

My water heater went out, and after first getting a $3,500 estimate from one of the bigger companies in town to install a new one, I called AJ Alberts instead. They were much more affordable, while not sacrificing quality, customer service, or timeliness of the installation. I had the new water heater installed the same day I passed on the big company's estimate. Their responsiveness and professionalism were very much appreciated! I will certainly be using their services again in the future.

Very Pleasant to work with. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone. My water heater started leaking and they came the same day to replace it and they took the old one with them! The plumber on site was very helpful and also fixed my shower that had been leaking for almost a year. Very happy customer!

We hired AJ alberts to do all our plumbing for our new build and they were exceptional from the front end with Matt to the installation with Matt, Dan Colton and thatcher! Highly recommend them!

My interaction with AJ Alberts Plumming was great. They were able to come same day and replace a shower pipe that was leaking (also replaced the tub handle and faucet that it was connected to). They replaced a big pipe section that was corroded and leaking (3 pipes and a joint section).

They did have to cut a whole in the wall to get to the leaking pipe, but they screwed the cleanly cut piece back to the wall so that all we have to do is plaster/sand/paint and it will be good as new.

I would highly recommend this company - very kind and professional.

I got my toilet water supply done by AJ Alberts. The service is very professional. We scheduled a window and I got a text before the technician headed my way. The technician, Zach Case, was very professional. He explained things very clearly, got the job done beautifully and also gave me some advice regarding home plumbing in general. The job was just done 12/22/2021. On the off chance it won't last long, I'll modify/delete this review.

I heard about A.J. Alberts Plumbing on Toto's website. Being handicapped, I needed a high quality toilet that had the features I needed and would accommodate a bidet at a latter date. Scott, their salesperson, was very helpful, and patient, helping meet my needs. I choose a Toto Carolina II. Considering the quality of this toilet, and work involved in installation, the price was very reasonable.

I was concerned about the installation and Albert's plumber Bob exceeded my expectations. Solid installation and cleanup.

A couple weeks before the above installation; our second bathroom's toilet developed a hairline crack in the tank. Bob and Scott were able to obtain a replacement and Bob installed it within a couple hours after my Carolina II was installed.

We'll seriously consider hiring A.J. Alberts when we covert our current shower to a more handicapped friendly shower next spring.

They have come to my house twice and both times have done an amazing job really reasonably! As a single mom I am far from handy and need reliable service which is exactly what they've provided! Would recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone looking for a plumber!

I called AJ Alberts Plumbing at 7:30 AM after having the delivery guys of our washing machine say they could not install our washer due to corrosion on our water shut off valve. AJ plumbing said they could work us in and was there by 9:30 AM. They were very nice, informative and professional. Will keep their number for any future plumbing needs!

Tyler and Tony were in to install new toilets and fix a leak in the main water piping. They were kind and knowledgeable. I appreciated them going through everything before and after their work.

Matt came out and worked on our gas line. He did an exceptional job.

We just finished building our first custom home, in Woodbury, but initially did not install a water softener. After two months we realized we needed a water softener badly, but were not happy with and did not want to use the plumbing company that the builder had used. So after some research, we had Matt Alberts out to give us an estimate. Not only was the estimate the most favorable price-wise, but we were very impressed with Matt as well. The softener was installed one week later, and the person that came out to do the install was great. He even discovered another plumbing issue we had, that if it wasn't addressed soon, would start to yield some big wear and tear on all of our brand new appliances. They were able to take care of this additional work the exact same day, during the same service visit.
I'm very particular about and demand a very high level of expertise and quality of work, and AJ Alberts delivered on all of these. We will be using them for any and all future plumbing needs.

I am rating this company based on my experience with them, though I want to note I did not get any actual service from them. I called about a plumbing issue and the owner of the company called me back minutes later and said it wasn't something they serviced, but that he would refer me to someone who could. It was top tier customer service and I think speaks volumes about the kind of company they likely are, and wanted to share the good experience.

The person the referred me to was also fantastic and took care of my issue. Great experience all around.

Called AJ Alberts Plumbing to replace water supply valves in my basement laundry room. I called Alberts because they had been in a couple of years before to replace my water heater and I was impressed at that time with their professionalism and quality of service.

Today was a repeat of that satisfactory experience. The plumber arrived on time, quickly sized up the job, gave me an accurate estimate and went right to work. He had all the necessary tools and supplies on the truck so he was done in about 30 minutes, including draining air from the lines and a thorough clean-up of the work area.

Afterwards he answered my questions made some suggestions for my consideration and was out the door! This was a quick, painless and satisfying experience and I won't hesitate to call Alberts for my next plumbing job.

By the way, Alberts' price for this job was within $3.00 of the estimate I had been given by a plumber friend of mine. Not bad!

They saved my day and weekend. Water softener failed and stopped all water flow. Response was amazing, work was amazing. Professional, curtious and complete in resolving things. I don't want to go through this again, but if I had to, this would be my only call.

From the first phone call to the installation of a new whole house water filtration/softener system, I've been nothing but impressed with AJ Alberts. After considering various replacement options for our failed/outdated water softener system, I was offered to have my tap water tested by a third party lab at no cost to me. The results came back faster than anticipated. Another phone call began the discussion of the various elements found in our cities tap water and how replacing our old system with a newer model was not a cost effective option. It was then explained that our old system couldn't keep up with our ever growing family which lead to many issues. My wife and I then decided to upgrade to a larger whole house water filtration and softener system. The installation was painless and they even removed our old system from our home. My family is more than pleased with the silky water that runs from our taps, my kids actually like drinking water again, and our appliances seem to be running a lot smoother. The guys over at AJ Alberts are true professionals.

When I called they answered politely. Scheduled this very afternoon - texted when they were on the way (early), diagnosed the problems quickly and resolved them quickly, offered to check another possible problem faucet but told us how we could fix it, The bill was as expected. We had a plugged up kitchen sink. I called Jim the owner of AJ Alberts and his office. I left a v mail for both and they both promptly called me back. They told me they refer plugged sinks etc to a different plumbing co as that is not their expertise. I called the co they referred and the plumber was at my house ASAP and got the drain unplugged. Very pleased with AJ Alberts response to my voice mails and for referring a great co to help me with my specific needs. Very impressive!! Will call AJ Alberts again!

Stopped in to pick out some items for a remodel. Scott was friendly and helpful, even though we showed up at the end of the day on a Friday, without an appointment. With his help, we were able to make all of our selections quickly. We should have made an appointment, but that was our fault for not thinking of that beforehand.

Had Alberts come out to fix a sink drain and replace the cartridge in my shower. Plumber Bob was sent and he did an excellent job. Cartridge was difficult to replace but he worked hard to keep from replacing the valve. Nice man very knowledgeable Alberts is lucky to have him.

We couldn’t have asked for a better plumber. Zach Case was great! If you need any type of plumbing work done, don’t hesitate to have Zach do the work.

They were able to send a plumber out the same day that I called and arrived within the stated time window. The friendly plumber took the time to show me what piece had failed and answered my other questions.

So impressed with AJ Alberts Plumbing! My hot water heater stopped working, and , after attempting to restart the pilot light (which made me very nervous...) I called and requested their help. They were here within an hour and now, HOT WATER! Also, they followed all the CDC guidelines, which was quite appreciated!

I had a leak and a plugged up drain pipe in the basement. Despite the leak needing new piping put in and needing to be lowered, as well as them not being fully setup for drain cleaning yet, they were able to get everything done and during the appointment time while staying on the low end of the estimate.

Colton and Tony did an absolutely fantastic job and were professional and helpful the entire time. They answered all my questions and gave me referrals to help finish up the plugged drain issue. They gave me a verbal estimate right away before doing any work and were able to do everything on the low end of that estimate.

Matt and Thatcher saved me and my family! We had a pipe leak in the basement floor that hit a critical point (fully clogged and joint leaking under the concrete - lets just say is was a big mess). Through their diligent problem solving, they were able to fix what the previous plumbing company was not able to, identified an additional issue and repaired it as well as saved a sentimental item for my daughter that was in the way. They got me and my family back up and running quickly and efficiently. I'm not sure what we would have done without their help - plus they were very friendly and respectful of my property. Bob came out promptly and diagnosed the issue, explained what the plan would be, potential costs, and after accepting Bob completed the work within an hour. We had a difficult situation related to a leakeage from the shower and sink into the main stack. The technician (Bob) came over and using his experience and intuition determined the best possible location. By opening just two holes in the wall he was able to find the location of the cracked joint. He fixed it promptly even in a confined area behind the kitchen cabinets. Highly recommended for their professional service and reasonable cost.

Water heater started leaking on a Wednesday and they were out by Friday to replace plus update the shutoff valve on the incoming water. They coordinated with the city to shut off the water and swap out the old shutoff which was old and place in a awkward position. I was happy with the price quoted and the time estimate was spot-on. Zach was professional and informative of the process. Woudl recommend them for your needs.

AJ Alberts Plumbing is fantastic. I’ve called them for three different jobs so far: water softener install, kitchen pipe reroute, and replacement of two regular spigots with frost free. A different plumber came for each job, and they were all friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. I also like the appointment confirmation email and text when the plumber is on their way over. The price is very reasonable considering the quality of work, and when they’re done you get an instant invoice email with no wait. Hands down great business.
