Matt Solko at Abbott Ferraro designed the HVAC system to heat/cool a new second floor on my home. The new 2-zone system is doing a great job of keeping the second floor as cool as the main floor. On top of bringing a superb level of competence, Matt is a very honest person with a great work ethic.

Tim at Aabbott Ferraro always does a great job for us with our furnace and a/c. They first helped us several years ago by picking up the pieces left by a different company who disassembled our furnace as freezing temperatures approached, only to tell us they couldn't fix it and they left. Aabbott Ferraro came to our rescue, and they have been awesome every time we have called. Quick to respond, courteous, professional and fair. I can't recommend them enough.

Matt S. is a tech at Aabbott Ferraro. Matt was sent to repair our room air conditioner. He was on-time, polite and knowledgable! Matt had our AC unit back up and running quickly. But he noticed that our unit had a faulty board that would not shut down the AC in the event of a water leak. Matt came back the next day and installed a new board. Fabulous service!

I recently had a new furnace installed in my St. Paul home by Aabbott Ferraro. After several other estimates Nick Steckhahn visited me and described the options in a clear and concise manner. He was very professional and did not pressure me into a decision. He was able to meet our financial requirements and arrange for the furnace to be installed the very next day. This was welcomed as it was still fairly chilly. The next day two employees arrived. The installation experience was as professional and pleasant as was the estimate experience with this company. Our new furnace was up and running in half a day and when Nick arrived to check the work he sat with us and answered all questions. We got a very good guarantee from the company on their work. I recommend this company as honest, professional and very capable.

Aabbott Ferraro just installed a new furnace in our Saint Paul home. We received several estimates prior to choosing Aabbott Ferraro based on Nick's complete, professional, and economical evaluation and estimate. The installation was efficient, professional, and pleasant. Our new furnace was installed and running in under a day. Nick returned to check the work and answer any questions. They have a very good guarantee on their work and equipment. We highly recommend this company.

My furnace stopped working and I called Aabbott Ferraro. I called after eight in the morning and made an appointment for someone to come out to the house at 10:30. The service technician was prompt (and also called before he arrived), polite, knowledgeable, and fixed the problem quickly. I really liked the fact that the company and its employees seemed very professional. This was my first experience dealing with a broken furnace and I'm glad that I called Aabbott Ferraro.

The only reason that I didn't give five stars is because I felt the price was a little high. But, for the service they provide maybe it's worth it.

They waited until they day that they were scheduled to come out and see us to let us know that we were outside their service area, even though they had our address weeks beforehand. Inconvenient and poor communication.

I am very happy with the solution Nick from Abbott Ferraro came up with. We needed to heat and cool our second story and it was not feasible to extend our current HVAC system up there. We went with a Fujitsu Mini-Split system. It is very impressive and keeps the whole space comfortable. I could not be happier! His team did a great job and they were very respectful of my property. Highly recommended!

He efficiently diagnosed the problem with our air conditioner and offered a reasonable explanation of alternatives and costs.

Went out of business without notice and did not honor warranties

We recently replaced our old radiant heating system with a forced-air heating and cooling system. AF did a fantastic job. Their quotes were consistent from the early planning to project completion, the workmanship was excellent and the system is working well. Our house was built in 1924 and required some tuning of the system to handle the exceptionally cold winter this year. AF was on top of any needed adjustments, making sure we understood the tweaks they made and why. The guys on-site were friendly and respectful, making sure to tidy up after their work. We'll definitely call them in the future if we need more work done.

On time, pleasant, efficient.

As of December 2019 Aabbott Ferraro is out of business. I think they went under sometime early in 2019, but not sure. Their phone number rolls over to another heating business with very poor reviews. Not sure why their website is still up when from everything I can find they don't exist anymore. Sad because they were good.

High quality service with expertise, promptness, and kindness is what you can expect from Tim and from Aabbott Ferraro generally. This service was easy to schedule. Tim was very prompt and then very efficient about getting the work done. This was for a system tune-up and check up on 3 systems. Quick, terrific service! Will highly recommend.

Have always done good work. They tune up my furnace and AC. Fixed something on my furnace today. They show up when they say they will, courteous, etc. I think twice they came same-day, on cold winter days when the heating went out. Thank you!

I highly recommend AAbbott Ferraro. I recently purchased a home with a gravity furnace that needed to be removed and retrofitted with a modern high-efficiency forced air and A/C unit. This involved asbestos remediation and fabrication of brand new ductwork throughout the home. Aabbott Ferraro helped me with every step of the process. The president, Nick, did the estimate and helped design the layout for the new ductwork. He also put me in touch with an asbestos abatement contractor who performed the necessary work at a reasonable price. The installation team did an excellent job and Matt in particular was always very helpful and friendly, always taking time to answer my questions. I got several estimates when I was planning the job, and AAbbott Ferraro's came in at or lower than the rest. They are just the right combination of family business and professional experts. I wouldn't hesitate to work with them again.

Phil and Nick from Aabbott Ferraro are incredibly professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I am on the board of a 257 unit condo and they have done a ton of work for our residents including my own unit and every time all I hear is that they were awesome. Emails and phone calls are replied to swiftly, they are courteous and know what they are doing. I personally had my heat pump replaced as well as the Honeywell Total Connect Comfort system installed (remote web/mobile access to thermostat, water leakage/temp/humidity monitoring) and both times it was an easy process. Highly recommended.

We have been a customer of Aabbott Ferraro for decades now. The technicians go above the service I have received from other contractors. I have no complaints and I recommend this company very highly. I don't even think of calling anyone else when we need help.

Very nice people, came out within a few hours of me finding out my air conditioner wasn't working on our first hot day of the spring. Very affordable prices. A pleasure to deal with. He is the new HVAC guy for my business!

After dealing with two places that blatantly tried to rip me off (one wanted $1100 to change an inducer motor which is a $100/15 min job) I ended up replacing most of my furnace parts myself by watching youtube videos and finding the parts on amazon/ebay. It's about as simple as unplugging and plugging the new part in most of the time, but with the blower motor I ended up tightening a screw too tight and it locked the shaft onto the housing. I called Aabbott Ferraro and I couldn't possibly have been happier with Tim, the tech who managed to fix something that had been a nightmare for me to deal with. The hourly rate seemed high, but he worked quick and efficiently despite the unusual problem I created, so the final bill was much lower than expected. Thanks Tim! The owner and the person answering the phone were also helpful. I can't speak for the other techs there, but I would definitely recommend this company anyone having furnace issues.

Bryan was there on time and very professional. Cleaned the A/C unit and suggested some possible upgrades. Did a good job and am looking forward to my furnace cleaning/tuneup in the fall.

First cold snap of the season. They were super busy, but communication was great and expectations were met. They provided us with space heaters for the couple days we needed them. Very responsive, and explained it all so that I could understand. My wife dealt with them one day at our home and they treated her very well. A respectful bunch, I trust Aabbott Ferraro for our future heating and cooling needs!

Around Nov 2014, AF installed their recommended solution of Fujitsu system (three units) for nearly $20K.. Less than 6 months later, the Unit kept breaking down with several major issues from parts melting down, leaking, needing coils, etc. Nick assured us of the 5 year warranty which they'll cover. This November, and without warning or communication, they stopped responding to our calls for service. We left him, Tim and Kristen many voicemails but didn't get one call back. After one week of no heat and no call back, we ended up hiring someone else to fix the unit again . Very unfortunate situation we had with these guys.

Excellent service. My technician (Matt S.) was polite, responsive, knowledgeable, and thorough. He prepared me for the worst-case scenario in terms of cost, but the final work actually came in at less than the low end of the estimate. Very pleased and would highly recommend Aabbott Ferraro for repairs of a mini-split Fujitsu A/C system like ours.
