Apollo Heating was great! I had no furnace on a very cold weekend night. They were prompt and resolved the issue in two days! Couldn't have asked them to be better!!

Great service, fast efficient installation. The Air died on the hottest day my local HVAC company were 2 weeks for installation, Apollo only 2 days wait in a busiest time, they removed the old system (30 years +) and install new system in 2 hours, Installers very respectful and skilled. New system works awesome and received free system tuneup in a follow up visit. Happy to recommend Apollo and give 5 stars.

Bill was great and very knowledgeable. He got my furnace running long enough for the next team to come out the next day and install a new one. They made sure everything was up to code (which it was definitely not before) and it runs quiet and smooth. I will likely be using this company for an AC install in the spring and any maintenance at future homes :)

Kong Khang came for routine furnace inspection and did thorough job checking everything thing out - heat exchanger, burners, drain lines etc. also helped with quite a few questions about the iComfort thermostat. We recommend him!

Excellent service. Called to let me know he was on his way. Did a thorough check & then reviewed the results with me (showed photos of the things he checked). No issues as the system is only two years old. Discussed things that may come up as the system ages.

The technician went through our system and described what he encountered and then explained how our system worked within our climate environment. He explained things about our furnace that I did not know existed., even though I had them out for just the AC. Great customer service, Chris!

I was given a free A/C maintenance from a furnace purchase. Oddly enough they told me the repairs needed would be just as much or just under a new A/C. The guy who did the check didn’t try and up sell me. He told me the benefits of each and let me choose without pushing upgrades on me.

Apollo Heating & Air Conditioning was running a special on furnace tune-ups. My furnace checked out ok. I wanted to take time to do this survey because I was grateful for my technician Andrew D. who took the time to explain to me what they check for and why it's important to get it checked out. Preventive maintenance is the best thing you can do for you heating and central air. Just because it's running doesn't mean it's ok. Spend a little now or a lot later, your choice. I'm calling them back out here to do a maintenance check up on my central air.P.S. I tape a piece of paper on the side of my furnace and write down the date I change my furnace filter which I would recommend every 30 to 60 days depending how often I open my windows.

He was able to diagnose the problem and get it running until my Homesmart tech comes in 3 weeks. The repair would have been over $1500 which is why I am waiting.

Their technicians were great and certainly knew their stuff. However when it came time for pricing out the repairs and giving a quote for that or replacement, they quoted a ridiculously high price for the repair and then pushed you into buying a whole new system that was even more overpriced. Had to call several times to get the diagnostic report shared after the fact, and that was vague with colorful squares instead of any sort of numbers about the actual state of my equipment. I appreciated the honesty upfront about what was going on with my AC, but lost that instantly when they started upselling and pressuring into replacing everything instead of being honest and fair.

Ian the technician was extremely helpful and answered all of our questions, while he performed the tune-up on our furnace. Our furnace is over 20 years old so we had a few questions. He thoroughly inspected our old furnace and cleaned the necessary parts. He did an excellent job and made sure that he answered all of our questions.

Woke up on the morning of the coldest day of the year. Outside temperature was -15. Inside, the temp. had fallen to a brisk 49-degrees. Clearly, something had gone awry with the furnace. And at the recommendation of a friend, I was on the phone with Apollo Heating and Air.Within two hours, Bill was at the house (on Super Bowl Sunday no less), diagnosing (faulty pressure switch) and, because he didn't have the right part on-hand, calling an audible to get the heat back while ordering the correct part to be installed later. Well, later was only approximately 24 hours. Because Bill's colleague Tony had me at the top of the schedule for a quick, easy, and permanent fix the very next day!Everyone I spoke with at Apollo - from the schedulers to the techs - were professional, personable, and knowledgeable. Class-act outfit all the way.

I had an issue that cropped up before the closing on the sale of my house. Apollo response was quick, and they jumped through hoops to get the repair parts and install them prior to closing. Service technician was professional and personable. I very highly recommend Apollo.

Tony, Bill & Jim were super. I was having issues with my old furnace & Bill came to look at it & I was in need of a new furnace. They don't last forever & I new from a couple of years ago when it was services that it was on it's last leg. They came a couple of days later as the weather was not that cold & was ok with temp electric heater. They are efficient & wasted no time in installing a new one. We have been using them since about 1990 and have never had an issue even in the middle of Jan. & they had to come because the furnace had stopped running. Thanks to all Great job.

Seriously frustrated.... they sold us a 5,000 air conditioner July 2015 last year turned it on didnt work they came out charged us $800 to add coolant. Said there might be leak. Turned it on last week not cooling. Got the run around saying I could contact Lennox. Last A/C we had for 25 years no problems.We haven't even used this unit more then 9 month's total!!!

2/2/2018: Called at about 4:00 AM stating I did not have any heat since 1:15 AM when I woke up. I received a call back from a service person telling me to call the office when they opened to get someone to come out. Thought you were a 24/7 service company.

I have Apollo for all my heating and cooling needs from install to regular maintenance. 3 years ago we had them install new central air Great job. 2 days ago they installed a new hot water heater. They were out here to give us an estimate and then to install all within 24 hours. They are quick and professional. I love they are local and have a small company feel. Our 21 year old office furnace had been serviced as much as it could be. Out with the old and in with the new. Dan and his crew did an excellent job and left our utility room clean and also informed me of a damper that I could use to limit the flow into my office.

He diagnosed the issue, fixed it, and left everything as he found it. Ian also gave us advice on our furnace filter when asked. Apollo technicians are always very professional and efficient.

The technician, Kong, was professional and courteous. He efficiently serviced our furnace and reported back to me everything he completed as well as showed pics of interior components.

Due to a pipe break that put water on my HVAC system, the system would no longer turn on. Apollo responded quickly, sent a repair technician and he diagnosed the problem and unfortunately didn't carry the necessary part for that brand of furnace. I fully expected a charge for the service call. Because Apollo was unable to fix the problem they didn't charge, even for the service call. I highly recommend a company with that level of customer service.

Blake is the consummate professional. He was friendly, polite, and extremely thorough in his work. His knowledge is off the charts. He also discovered a problem with our water heater, which Apollo will get more business from us because of Blake’s observation. Blake has all the tools to be a big time manager, or higher. Great kid. Just had Chris Flores here to check our vents to see if they needed cleaning. He did a fantastic job. Took pictures inside and said they are really clean and do not need anything. He is very honest and thorough job in checking ducts. I would definitely recommend him.

Needed to replace the humidifier attached to my furnace. I did need to pay ahead for the part and labor, but I have used Apollo multiple times and felt secure doing so. A couple weeks later the job was being scheduled. Technician, Josiah, was top notch. He came across a couple of issues, one with my furnace, a second with the new control panel. He fixed my furnace and replaced the control panel. The install estimated to take about an hour initially, took about 5 hours, including 2 parts runs. No extra charge for the day.Even though I needed to work my day at home, I knew the work was being done with the utmost level of detail and quality.I trust this company. When possible you get repeat technicians assigned to you so you know them and they know your home systems/equipment. Customer care, from the technicians to the folks on the phones is something they focus a great deal on.

Jon was great to deal with. He was thorough in explaining the different furnaces and AC units available. Once I was ready to move forward, he was out the next day to get the process moving forward to get my new furnace and AC installed.

Our technician addicted when expected, checked the thermostat, sensor and the temperature in the ring room making sure everything was operating properly.

Joziah sent a text with his photo before he arrived so we knew who he was beforehand. He was fast, efficient and polite. He educated us on proper furnace maintenance, recommending the filter be changed more often than 2X/year and to have the ducts cleaned regularly.

When my furnace went out at -16 early on a Saturday morning, trying to find someone to help me was quite difficult. The first 2 places said they would be out sometime tomorrow. And this was an emergency call. Discredulous, I finally came upon the recommendation of Apollo Heating. They answered after 2 rings, it was a real person, kind and understanding. Needless to say, they were out within 3 hours. I had a wood stove, so was able to wait until Monday morning without too much discomfort. They came, provided excellent service and were so kind and knowledgeable. I can't say enough about this company and would highly recommend them to anyone - as a FIRST call.

New furnace and AC combo, the old furnace had a cracked heat exchanger. They were out the next day to replace the units. Did both in the dead of winter. Thank you guys. A+ work, nice and clean.

We have using Apollo for 38 years. They have installed two furnaces and two central air conditioners in our house. Last week, the technician came to perform our annual ac tuneup. He said that the dual run capacitor was out of range and could fail anytime. I asked him how much it would cost to replace it. He tells me that I could purchase a service agreement and the capacitor price would be reduced by 10%. I agreed to have it replaced. Later, I researched the capacitor price and the actual purchase price is around $40. I was charged $469. After, two days and multiple calls and text the service manager called me back. He said the charge included the technicians diagnosis, fuel, labor cost was included in it. I explained that I expected some higher cost but that is excessive. I told him i paid for the service twice since I bought a two trip plan. The technician was at our house for 40 minutes. The manager agreed to credit me back $169. I told $300 for a $40 capacitor is still out of line. If they would have charged me double or triple the price I would have accepted the response. Don’t think I will use Apollo going forward

Was not able to be there while the furnace was getting a tune up, so was super impressed Joziah was able to send me pics of all the ins and outs of the unit and gave suggestions on what could be replaced and what could be fixed. Was sent the diagnostics which gave me an idea of performance. Thanks Joziah for being so helpful and informative and thorough!

Called today to have my dryer ducts unclogged. Chris came out and what should've been am easy job had turned out to be quite the hassle.Chris called in reinforcements and it was decided to pull out the run and see what was going on.Whoever had previously worked on our house (prior to us owning it) had only duct taped the sections together. Seriously a scary dangerous mess!!!The wonderful guys from Apollo worked together and replaced the run. They connected the sections appropriately, and reassured me that its no longer a fire hazard.I will be using them for all my future needs and recommending them to anyone I know in need of any air conditioning, heating, or dryer vent cleaning needs.

I have an electric furnace that's in service for about 12~13 years. It went out of power all of a sudden in July. Had one HVAC company looked at it but they couldn't fix it, and suggested me to replace it. So I had two other companies looking at it, one of which Apollo. Both technician spent about an hour or so and told me it could not be repaired. Apollo got me an estimate for about $12,000 to replace it. Since there is rust on the chassis and the components, I was told by the technicians that it's most likely caused by water damage, so I filed an insurance claim. The insurance company sent out two investigators, both concluded that it was actually power surge shot the transformer, not at all water damage. So I begged Apollo to send someone to repair, since one of the investigator suggested me to. This time the technician Mike had it fixed, with the report provided. The insurance company gave me an estimate of $400 repair bill, with the transformer priced at $40, I paid the repair for $1,400, with the transformer being charged at close to $600.Since this is a rental property, both technicians told my tenants that I SHOULD replace the furnace. After spent over $2,000+ on a simple repair, my tenants now resent me as not doing what I need to do. I bit the bullet so my tenant could have heat, but I am now a cheap and greedy landlord. An electric furnace usually lasts 25-30 years, with not many components to deal with like a gas furnace. It's really not in their position to talk to tenants like that.I hesitated on whether giving a 2 or 3 rating. I believe Apollo technicians all have the ability to fix it but it seems that the company is more motivated to sell new systems than helping out the customers. And the over charge of the parts is outrageous, 15 times! I appreciate Apollo fixing it. Giving a 2 star is to make the review negative, to warn people about the possible price gouge, and upsell. They are probably not the only company doing it in this field. I'm just sad that I don't feel I could trust the professionals.

Despite the 100 deg Saturday, Bill was able to get out here within 4 or 5 hrs, quickly diagnosed the miswiring betw our old A.C. condenser and our new furnace. We made it to a wedding with 2 mins to spare and got the house cooled for our guests that night!

Apollo Heating installed our furnace in1998 and we were pleased with them. We would recommend them and would have used them for the new furnace, however their prices were quite a bit higher than the company we chose. The products were exactly the same. Raul was very easy to work with and there was no pressure.

Apollo is great! They helped us within 30 minutes of us calling about our 20 yr old AC being out. They got it going, but we opted to get a new one which they were able to fit us in the next day! Last January we needed a new furnace & they did it the same day. We've used Apollo for almost 20 years for service calls because their customer service reps & their techs/hvac employees are always helpful. They are never pushy about selling you something. Thanks Apollo for making sure we werent melting during this intensely hot week!

We had a tech out for a maintenance check for our 15 year old high end Bryant 2 ton central air unit. Turned out the fan wasn't working and the condenser was in need of a good cleaning. Short story is we were told repairs would be in the $1500 + range with no assurance they would be effective or a new unit would run $5 -6,000. It appeared the the tech was steering us to a new unit. We declined and I went to work Researching options.I found G-HVAC in my area. Greg is a one man operation but his knowledge, effort and pricing is beyond excellent!He has my central air unit back up and purring for less than $750!!!!

Our furnace stopped working and Apollo was out promptly and diagnosed the problem. Options were given and replacement was the best route. Pete was pout within 2 hours to determine the proper unit for our needs. The process could not have been any easier or more straight forward. I felt as though Pete was trying to help us with our situation, not just sell us a furnace. I am completely comfortable with my whole experience with Pete and Apollo.

I will be having an attic ac installed. It has not been installed as of yet. Apollo was actually the highest, but the install didn't require sourcing an electrician or other details that required more research on our part.2020-21 has been a challenge for labor and keeping teams together, and we were blessed that Apollo was willing and able to meet our timeframe for installation.The crew, Mike and Cory, arrived. We did a walk through, brainstormed best layout and design. Then they went right to work. Note: I said coffee, husband said energy drinks. Husband was correct. :)Apollo was responsive to our aesthetic needs for the exterior. They also kept the interior vent and intake neat, organized and streamlined.One constructive encouragement is continue to work new tools and finish work into skill set. Our bore holes posted a unique challenge, not through masonry, but through existing wood beam. Faced with old nails a hole saw bit could not complete the job. A reciprocating saw would damage the exterior trim. So the best action was hammer, chisel and oscillating saw.

I had to call the fire department for smoke coming from my furnace with no fire at 6 AM. Apollo was able to schedule a service appt same day and the service tech came by 1 PM. The tech was very friendly, knowledgeable, showed me the problem areas and solutions, and answered all of my questions and made recommendations with multiple options and without pushing any particular product on me. I’m getting a new furnace and it’ll be installed in less than two days. I’m very pleased and would definitely recommend them.

I had a new furnace installed in Feb 2023 and purchased the warranty. I was amazed at the excellent service I received from all (Drew, Chris, Steve and Kong and a few others). All were professional, knowledgeable, kind and considerate. The Warranty is worth its weight in gold. They checked my plumbing and drained my water heater. Of course, when I went to turn on my air conditioner early summer, it did not work. Apollo was out in excellent time and found that a mouse ate through the wires outside over the winter. It works great now. I also had them clean my air ducts and they did a great job. The service price was very reasonable as was the cost of the new furnace. Customer service personnel are also very helpful and will go the extra mile for you.

After months of not having A/C we finally gave in and called for an estimate, upon him finding out our A/C went out 3 months prior to calling, he made sure to check out the situation that day. They did a great job.The Bad:I have heard some horror stories from family and friends about the quality of work they perform while doing Air Duct Cleaning.The Mysterious:I used to see them all over the east side of saint paul. This summer I have rarely seen their trucks. When calling for a air duct cleaning they informed me they no longer offer air duct cleaning and gave me a company that has took over for them.

Apollo came out on a Monday to look at our heat and they basically saved our lives. There was a hole in the furnace spewing carbon monoxide in the house so once they inspected it, the gas and electricity to the unit was IMMEDIATELY shut off. Not even 2 hours later, Pete came out to measure and he was so wonderful and friendly! They got us a new furnace and everything taken care of the NEXT day! They had 3 different technicians come out to replace my 2 new furnace and the 2nd technician wired it wrong this happened before Thanksgiving and still 12-8-2022 it has not been replaced!I called on Friday and was told someone would contact me back and still I called my landlord and she gave me the number to the manager which still hasn't resolved this problem. He told me he would call me back yesterday 12-7....my furnace keeps kicking off and on... only 1 furnace is working and it's been to many stories.....I don't recommend this company for new furnace installed! As they didn't do it right...the last technician told me that someone wired the new furnace wrong! So now it's been a game to get another new unit installed.....

Everything was explained quite thoroughly at the time of purchase, and they were very prompt to arrive for the work. One minor issue they resolved the day after, but it was quite a project to start with. So overall I would recommend them. Very conscientious and thorough workers.

Annual checkups are critical! The watches identified by the tech are just as important as the ones you get from medical/dental appointments. No surprises but always have a functioning CO detector (or 3)!

My furnace stopped working Friday night. I had a crack heat exchanger and needed a new furnace quickly. Pete came out to my home on Saturday to discuss furnace replacement options. I signed a contact with Apollo that day and Pete rearranged other furnace installations so my new furnace could be installed on Monday. Now that is the best service anyone could ask for. Pete is very customer focused and takes the necessary time with his customers to thoroughly explain options and features. Pete is the BEST!!

My wife noticed water coming out of the back side of our boiler. She called Apollo and they came the same day, and resolved the issue. They were terrific!

I called the 24 hour service line, as my furnace went out in the middle of the night. As it was not emergency, I opted to wait until business hours to talk with someone. I was promptly called in the morning, and the problem was assessed and a service call was scheduled. Mike, the repair person, was there very quickly, did a great job figuring out the issue and getting the heat up and running. It was great because he also gave me things to consider about the timeline of my furnace. Overall it was a great experience.

Apollo came out and cleaned our ducts. They did such a wonderful job-Chris showed us before and after pictures and then the rest of the evidence was on the filter a few hours after he finished. The house is so much cleaner. Apollo was punctual, priced well, and was very informative about our system and the service he provided. I would recommend them to anyone.

I had them come to give me an estimate I was told a service call was $69. I was charged $189. That's a huge difference all he did was remove screws visually look at my furnace and tell me it was shot. Then proceeded to tell me it would cost $7,300 for a new furnace along with a phone call later on pressuring me telling me that there was only one unit left. It's a game... But guess what ? I won! Found a furnace for 2,900.. And 1,000 for installation.. Never Again Apollo!!!

Hired for the Professional AC Tune upI called before to see what is included (and chose them based on the answer).Was told that AC system would be checked and maintenance performed (including needed cleaning - of course no repairs)But it was basically a sales visit I had to pay for.Nothing was cleaned - I was only told that it really needs cleaning and given astronomical price for cleaning ($500 - for less than an hour of work).Also was given other repair estimates ($1900!! for 3 small electrical parts), none of them needed - and two out of three are completely pulled out of hat - no symptoms at all and not even an indication.But technician was nice and tried hard.I feel that it was a scam, but is probably naïve thinking that it would not be.

Had an estimate appointment today for a new furnace and also received an estimate to install a water softener. Sean was knowledgeable and very helpful in explaining things and answering all my questions. He was courteous, respectful and just delightful to work with. I was very impressed.

I've had mixed results with Apollo. When we called to get AC looked at on a Saturday, I had to leave a message. Someone called back and left a voicemail that a technician was available at on-call prices to look at it on Sunday, and that I needed to call back to confirm if this was what I wanted to do. I called back, left another message (had to leave all of my information again, like this was the first time I was calling). I didn't hear back from them, called back on Sunday, and they had never gotten our second message to the correct person. But they were able to fit us in on Tuesday.The visit on Tuesday went smoothly. They send a salesperson next, and he was awesome, very helpful. The install took some time, but went well and the installers were great as well.I was told to call and schedule a follow up appointment to check on the new AC unit for a week later. I called, set up an appointment from 2-4 for 1 week later. The day and time came and went. I called at 4:45 and was told they were running behind and would still be there. They never showed up. I called back a few days later to find out what happened, and they said they have an appointment set up for me at another day and time. They was NEVER communicated to me.Long story short, this company seriously needs to work on their communication. Their actual goods and services were great, but communication is not very good.

Our furnace just died (will be -10 degrees tonight, yay!). We called Apollo at 6pm and they were able to come out an hour later. Brad R was super friendly and knowledgeable, talking me through what broke and what my options were. We've decided to replace our furnace and they're able to install it tomorrow. In the meantime, Brad is dropping off space heaters to tide us over tonight. Brad and everyone else I talked to on the phone were class acts, so I highly recommend going with Apollo!

The service technician was professional. Put on shoe covers before entering house. Checked co2 levels and cleaned boiler. Noticed a problem and took pictures of it. Explained repair or replacement options. Talked some about fishing! An overall good experience.

(The service call was two weeks ago. How disingenuous. He said how can I help you and I told him how I felt Apollo had let me down on their service. I said I expected more from them. He said I'm sorry you feel that way. This is corporate speak for we don't care what you think. After 40 years Apollo has lost me.1st. review. Asked Bill to have manager call me. He wouldn't do. I called for manager and left message. After not hearing from him, I cancelled service contract. They didn't seem concerned to lose the business.

We had a new Carrier furnace installed in November. A few years before that , we also had an a/c replacement with a Carrier unit and are very pleased with the performance of both. There were two problems with the furnace install that were discovered after the fact , i.e. humidifier didn't operate and 2) a/c didn't operate. Both times, Bill Butler came to do the repairs and identified a wiring problem when the furnace was installed. He was very effective and professional. Apollo is our go-to provider for HVAC.

Used to be a great small and local operation here in Oakdale. Not so much anymore... prices are through the roof and you're no longer a valued customer like in the past. Guess they just go to big too fast!

Unbelievably poor work that they refuse to stand behind. Will jerk you around for years pretending it isn't their responsibility. I thought these guys were very straightforward, but their poor work ended with me having a giant water leak in my ceiling that caused severe black mold issue that had to be remediated and entire new ceiling put in. And after that the work still continued to fall apart. Can't wait to wash my hands of them.

Blake is an outstanding technician. He is a problem-solver who did not give up completing my A/C install and air and bacterial cleaner. Even with parts missing, he was on the phone getting them and then installed everything as if it were his one. He deserves a bonus but keep him in the field solving customer problems. On a Thurs, Apollo arrived to repair my furnace that was intermittent in providing heat. A sensing device was cleaned, a pressure switch was replaced, and a new owner-provided thermostat was installed, .Later, the furnace would only provide some heat and then shut down. Another appointment was made for the next day. A second technician, replaced the owner's air filter with another owner's air filter of less density. Furnace is now working properly.

Like others, I took advantage of Apollo's annual $59 tune-up season special and took comfort in their high Google 4.8 rating as a credible firm to work with -- because as a new homeowner, I'm still learning about all aspects of my house and have to put my trust into new people I'm working with.Before even pulling the panels off my furnace, the Apollo technician told me about how old the unit was and likely it was it'd need to be replaced. His proof points were markings from an old inducer motor leak and cracked coating around the heat exchange ringlets. He got me in a panic that carbon monoxide could start leaking at any time from the heat exchange at any time. Well because I have a home warranty, I ended up calling them at the end of Apollo's tune-up to which they sent out a different local HVAC firm the following day.That technician very calmly and thoroughly diagnosed that the issues Apollo claimed were critically dangerous were just in fact some normal superficial wear on a 20+ year old unit. He also explained that Apollo--like others in the HVAC industry--is known to deploy shady tactics to try to sell you a new furnace on the initial technician visit -- rather than a true service call. That's apparently where the industry is at: many HVAC technicians are just salespeople to scare homeowners into new units. In my personal experience, that's the kind of company Apollo showed me to be.

Apollo was fast and easy to schedule an appointment for service on our gas furnace. They sent a text with who our technician was and included a picture and a link to track his location so we knew exactly when he would arrive. Our technician, Bill, was proficient and efficient and got right to work. He checked out the entire furnace, isolated the problem and made the fix. Job well done.

Mike was very knowledgable and willing to figure out the puzzle of our system to install a new WiFi thermatat. There was some complexities with wiring of zones and additional thermastats so we had to call in the pro's. It took a couple of visits but it is up and running.

Chris arrived within the time frame specified. He quickly assessed the situation and got to work. It wasn't long before he had diagnosed the problem down to damaged wiring in the outside unit. After some minor repair, the AC system was up and running again. Very professional and very competent.

These guys are awesome, Clay, Alicia, Brin, Chris, Tony, Ryan and Alex, every person I dealt with was friendly, helpful and most importantly sympathetic that our AC was out right before a heat wave!! They came out within 24 hour and they managed to squeeze us in right before a long holiday weekend! I would have paid more for the last minute rescue but they were cheaper than other bids we had gotten. It felt like everyone went out of their way for us from the very first moment I called. We had our Furnace and AC replaced by Apollo Heating and Cooling 04/29/2020 and they did an outstanding job. Tony Tellin sets Apollo apart from the competition with his knowledge of the industry and the products that are offered. Tony didn't make us feel like he was just trying to win over the job and offered insight and expertise as to what was expected product wise as well as the installation. Dan and Josh did an outstanding job with the installation of our new Lennox system and we would recommend Apollo to anyone in need of heating and cooling services.

My air conditioner was not working during a very hot week. Bill, serviceman, was able to come the day I called!! He was very professional and experienced. He was able to clearly explain the situation. He gave me an evaluation and options for what I could do. I feel comfortable with the decision I made.

Jon from Apollo came out to get a free estimate on a new ac and furnace. It has been over a week a never receive an estimate. Disappointed that a company sends someone out and took my time and his time . Even thou this is the busy time it makes me wondering if we would have a great service when your sales teams does not follow through. The reason why I contacted Apollo was the great reviews but a guess when your company is to busy you do not care about a customer that is looking to update the ac and furnace.

This is the second year we have had a service contract with Apollo. I have been happy up to this point. They were out to check the AC and found the Capacitor needed to be replaced after the technician checked it. He had removed it, had it in his hand and tested it again. He said it would be best if it was replaced and we would probably save a service call down the line. He put a new one in for $152.00 after my 10% discount. Now mind you he was already out here for the AC check-up and had the capacitor out to check it. I asked to have the old one and he gave it to me. Needless to say I did some checking and I later found the exact same one in North St Paul for $15.00 out the door. I know it didn't cost this guy $15.00 and he made some money off of me. I am pissed that Apollo charged me $152.00 for a part that joe citizen can get for $15.00. I realize they have other costs involved, like keeping parts on hand, but 1,000 %. I called and asked for a partial refund but no luck. I could see them charging me say, $50.00 for the part, but $152.00.... No More Apollo for me. BTW the technician was great !

My experience with getting a new furnace with Apollo was liking watching a well-oiled surgical transplant team! From sales to service, everyone brought their own expertise, knowledge and experience to the table. The repair person was nice and repaired the A/C unit but found a way to overcharge me. I looked up A/C repair costs online afterward and found that I have overpaid likely by $700-$$1,000. The repair person found a second compressor for the A/C unit that needed to be replaced after replacing the first compressor. Why didn’t he see this other compressor the first time while doing the assessment of the unit? I don’t even know if the second compressor exists, but he still managed to add an extra $700 to the cost. I would never trust this service to provide a fair deal again.

I so appreciate getting a reasonalbe bid for replacing the AC on a Thursday, and having it installed on a Friday.

Had them out for a warranty claim on my home for my water heater. Was told it’d be $650-450 more to replace than other plumbers I’ve talked to. I told them if they can price match I will go ahead and have them put it in. I also have a leak in my guest bath tub, covered under warranty. I then told the guy they sent out that they both need to be done by the same plumbing company so don’t do any work on it until we’ve heard back on if you can match and is move forward with the water heater. He insisted on looking at the leak to “see what they’re getting into”. After looking for maybe 5 minutes his boss calls and they do not price match. Fine with me, have a good day, no harm no foul I’ll just go with someone who isn’t charging an insane amount. Guy comes back 5 minutes later and rings the doorbell asking for $100 for “diagnostics” on the leak that I literally told him not to look at. They charge 20% more that market and watch them close when in your home. Don’t allow them to “work” on anything without an invoice and full understanding of what you’re being charged for.

I like the consistency of this company. I see the same maintenance person each year and he remembers details about previous visits. When there is a problem they get us scheduled for a repair within a couple of days, if not the following day. All of their staff I've worked with have been pleasant, polite, and neat. In addition, they smile all of the time, even with their Covid masks on, so I don't mind them being here.

Plumbing Review. I was very happy with Apollo. I called after hours when our sink started backing up a little. They don’t do emergencies for plumbing but got plumber to me by 8 o’clock the next morning. Vinh did a great job, our problem was much worse than I thought but he saw it through and got the job done in one long session. Reliable and professional company, I highly recommend.

My furnace stopped working over night, and Apollo went above and beyond to find a technician who was able to come out on a Saturday (he wasn't even supposed to work!)! The technician, Bill, quickly identified the issue, and then laid out my options as far as equipment, costs, etc. I didn't feel pressured into anything, and felt like they gave me the information to make the decision that was best for my family!

We have been working with Apollo for years. The technicians are always professional and knowledgeable. Today Brad was one of the best we have worked with.The technicians are also personable and easy to communicate with. They explain everything so I can understand what needs to be done. I have a furnace and ac older than me that was having cooling issues. Bill discovered a coolant leak and instead to recharging it with the outdated coolant it uses, we decided it was time to put it out to pasture. Price to get both replaced was very reasonable and what's better is they were able to schedule the installation to start right away so we could keep my wife cool and happy.

Called for an emergency gas leak and furnace not working properly. Was given a window of 10am-6pm but they arrived around 11:30ish which was a pleasant surprise. Drew was very professional and pleasant. Did solid work, gave me good recommendations. Idk anything about furnaces so I honestly have no idea if I was ripped off but I definitely did not get that vibe. My furnace is 22 years old so I’m in no position to call B.S. Getting a new furnace installed from them in a couple weeks. Would recommend.

Bought an electric in-floor heating system for our newly constructed art studio/garage (about 250 square feet) because we wanted quiet heating and no forced air fan. We were told by Ryan Halverson, that it would be more efficient after the initial install costs. Our electric bills have tripled, even running the system at the lowest, coldest level, and they are denying ever having told us that what they said. What a rip.

I called for an estimate on a new humidifier to replace the one that is attached to our furnace. He gave me a quote of about $600 for a new one, installed. I showed him what was wrong with our current one. We kept talking and examining the current one. He suggested that I may be able to fix it myself for under $10. I took his advice, and I got it working for $2.54! I really appreciated his friendliness and honesty. I told him I would definitely call Apollo if and when I do need to replace it.

My furnace is old enough that it needed to be certified in order to sell my home. Apollo came out to inspect the furnace within a couple of days, the technician was professional, and the office sent me the necessary paperwork for the city inspector the same day as the inspection. I couldn’t ask for much more!

I scheduled an estimate while overseas. They sent a knowledgeable and professional service tech over to inspect my old system and gave me a quote on a new one. Peter didn't waste 2 hours trying to price gauge or look at how much expensive stuff I had in my house to bump up the price. My girlfriend felt like he was very straight forward, and didn't take advantage of the fact she's a woman dealing with the issue of a new AC installation unit. It might sound unimportant, but it's one of the big reasons we went with Apollo. The other huge factor was that our estimate was priced line by line, not just one number. I like to know where I am spending ,$7000+ and why. A very important follow up to the estimate is that it ended up being the final price. No hidden BS fees or extra labor parts.Apollo was the only company that was able to install the very next day. They used 4 techs to expedite installation. I 100% recommend anyone needing an inspection of their AC to give Apollo a chance to give you a quote. Go from there, I doubt you will be disappointed.

Do NOT hire these over priced scum bags. While most companys charge $75 a lb for R-22 Apollo charges $210. Along with 150 an hour. This company is BAD!

The biggest thing I can say about Apollo is that they are like a family. They were willing to help me when it seemed like no one else cared or even wanted to. They went above and beyond when I told them I could not afford the air equipment that other companies were giving me quotes on. I met with Ryan Halverson and one of the most important things he gave me was an education about what I was spending my hard earned money on. He did not just sell me a product because it was all I could afford, he helped me find a product that met all my needs and was in my budget. I contacted them to do a tune up on my outdoor a/c unit (which is an very old Trane 1200) and before they came I took apart the walls to spray down the fins. When a screw dropped down inside the fin area I went to grab it putting my hand through something what I know now is the compressor housing (I found that out the next day). I thought I had broken the compressor after looking it up on the internet but I hadn't. Just the housing unit around the compressor (which is plastic). The actual compressor is metal. I kept the a/c unit apart so Apollo could help assess the damage which I had done. When he came he took one look at it and said yep its damaged, you're gonna need a new a/c unit. He even called to set up for a person to come and give an estimate and probably said it be about $15,000. The technician either wasn't educated enough to know that is was only the housing unit for the compressor and it could be fixed with a new housing unit. He said I would need a new compressor and they didn't make them anymore. (Mind you these were the really humid heat advisory days we had in July). He might be right about that but that wasn't the issue as I come to find out later. He didn't call his company to find out what could be done since he maybe didn't know or that he did know and didn't offer any other service or take a look at what else could be done. I paid $89 for 15 minutes of nothing but misinformation and trying to sell me a new unit. I found out that day it was only a housing unit from local repairman and he and I insulated it and it has run fine ever since. I have also heard from two other sources that they were also told they would need new units only to find it was only a part that needed replacement. I had then called Apollo to talk to the manager which took him 2 days to return a call. He was nice but said his technician said it was all torn apart when he got there. I said it was taken apart (not torn apart) to keep his job easy. I had to then say can another tech come and actually give me a tune up? He said yes but it would cost be $20 more he if came out. I was taken aback because as a customer who knows nothing or used to know nothing thought they should be bending over backwards for the kind of run around I got for a fix that could be maybe $200. Then to demand more money I said let's keep it at $89 which he agreed to. I set up the appointment and they came but it was at the wrong time of the day. I told them I wasn't interested in using their service anymore and glad I didn't because I might of been sold a bag of goods that I didn't really need. My a/c unit is working great without their help. Just beware and be educated before they head out to your house.

Jimmy V was great. He was able to fix my furnace and even though they were out of the part that was needed he got it and came right away the next morning. The parts were reasonable and the service was top notch. I always appreciate someone who is understanding of the situation and willing to work with me to get the problem resolved as quickly as possible. It takes something to work in -20 below zero weather and I am very appreciative for his timeliness and candor.

Would leave negative if possible only because of the way they treat their neighbors. It's a shame that they are so afraid of a truck crossing their property to back into the docks of the food bank they have to result to barricading their lot with broke down vehicles making extremely hard for drivers to make deliveries. What's even more sad is the charity food bank said they paid to have Apollo's lot repaved and would so again if the need arises. I've been driving 15 years and see petty discrimination like this against drivers everywhere. Apollo is pathetic!

My air conditioner wasn't working, wasn't connected thanks to another company's poor install of a furnace earlier in the year. Drew fixed it quick and gave me some tips answering all of my questions. Needless to say I won't be inviting that other company back and won't be using anyone else again, learned my lesson, happy with Apollo.

Apollo’s 24 hour service is amazing! I called at 9 pm at night and a technician arrived by noon the next day. The technician was really knowledgeable and instructed me how to take the best care of my furnace to make it run efficiently and last longer.

[Update 5/25] We had them out for a plumbing repair. Our technician, Huan, was fantastic - very diligent, really worked hard to try to diagnose our problem. Would definitely be happy to have him as our technician again.[Original post] I highly recommend Apollo - based on our experience they worked hard to ensure their work was done right. When an issue arose, they went the extra mile to ensure everything was perfect, and even fixed a little unrelated issue discovered during the repair because it was the right thing to do. That's the kind of company you want working on your heating & air conditioning.We contacted Apollo due to an issue we were having with our existing tankless hot water heater. Their sales rep, Bill, was punctual, very knowledgeable, and helped me understand the options we had for a replacement. When I did my own Internet research on available options, he helped me make sense of what I was looking at and which one made the most sense for our house. When I thought (incorrectly) a model was the right one, Bill didn't just assume the customer knows best, but helped me understand why he thought that wasn't the right unit for us and why a different model was better for our house - and he was absolutely right. (Protip: don't assume the S and A in the model number mean Stainless steel and Aluminum.)They were able to get the new unit and schedule the install quickly. Their installers were very professional and did a great job. The unit was working great, but a day later we noticed a faint gas odor. I texted Bill and he immediately got us back on their schedule. Their technician, Chris, did an outstanding job, working diligently to diagnose the problem. He found that the existing regulator that was used from the prior system had developed a very small leak. They got it replaced on the spot.When diagnosing the gas issue, Chris checked our gas fireplace and noticed something didn't look right (unrelated to the gas issue). He took a few minutes to fix that small issue because it was the right thing to do to avoid a problem down the road. That's the kind of service that makes for a long-term customer.Apollo did a fantastic job and we will definitely use them again.

Lucas the salesman that came out to see me did a professional job and new his product well. He did a thorough investigating our home and had some very sophisticated software which accurately recommended a two and a half ton AC and a 55 to 80,000 BTU furnace. Unfortunately the Lennox product that he proposed to me was very expensive. I bought my equipment from another contract who had Carrier.

After being a loyal Apollo customer for over 20 years it is time for a change. A furnace that Apollo installed stopped working. They were more interested in deer hunting than helping get my heat back up and running. They certainly did not stand behind their product or stick up for their customer. We are now working with another dealer that values their customers.

I had a gas-powered garage heater installed in mid-November. I got quotes from Apollo and 3 other companies. Apollo's quote was on the higher end but the sales person told me that they could get the installation done sooner than other companies (1 week out versus 2-4 weeks for other companies). My goal was to get one installed before the bitter cold arrived. In the end, they delivered on that. However, I was also told that everything could be done in one day, whereas other companies told me that 2-3 separate visits were required and we'd be at the mercy of the city inspector's availability to sign off on the gas line which can take days or weeks. I went with Apollo after they offered a price more similar to other companies and because of the fact that they could probably get it done in one visit in one week's time. I do emphasize probably because it was never promised.Turns out that the gas line needs to sit for 24 hours before the city can test it, thus REQUIRING multiple visits on different days to complete the install since Apollo needs to come back out and hook up the gas line after it's been inspected. I felt a little deceived, I imagine my sales person had to have known this. I can't be the first person that's had a gas line installed by Apollo.Additionally, I called Apollo to see if they can offer and/or install a programmable thermostat instead of the non-programmable one they installed. I was told that my sales person would call me to discuss but I didn't receive a call. I called back a few days later and just asked if they can tell me any programmable model that would work with the unit I purchased so that I could just buy and install it myself, was told that I'd get a call back, and again never did. I also had hoped to connect with my sales person so that I could provide this feedback privately rather than on a public review.After removing the thermostat from the wall to move it to a different location, I found that they had put an unnecessary fist-sized hole in the dry wall behind it, which is odd since the wire wasn't put behind the wall or anything.On a positive note, the installers that were here for the installation of the unit and gas line were very friendly and other than the hole in the wall, did some very nice work. They asked my preference on where the gas line should run, and they did a great job of keeping it tight to the wall and as out of sight as possible. Same for the guys that came by to hook up the gas line, also very friendly and provided great service.All said, I'm satisfied with the work that was done, I would just recommend that Apollo reps don't dangle all-in-one-day service if it's not even a possibility. I felt like I was purposely over promised in order to get the sale.

Chris was great. He was Very responsive and helpful. Tried to troubleshoot with me right away and then provided a time estimate and kept me updated till he got on site. We paid $200 for a technician to come tell us we needed a new AC unit (duh). We scheduled anyways to have a new AC unit to be replaced by Apollo. On the day the tech was on his way to our home to take measurements, he called and told us the price has gone up by $700. We scheduled last week! It’s only been a week! Apollo, come on! Can’t you honor your own quotes? How can your price jump almost $1000 within a week of us agreeing to your fist quote for your services? We are dumbfounded

Called Apollo to get an AC tune up because our neighbors have been having issues during the heat wave. Damico provided prompt and knowledgeable service. It was obvious that he was well versed in hvac maintenance and provided many helpful tips. I would definitely use this company again. Again, our technician Damico provided excellent service.

Andrew, the technician, did a great job of making the repair in a timely manner. It was, however, very disappointing to have the exhaust fan fail on a brand new furnace after only 3 weeks. The technician commented that it was extremely rare and that they were going to send the part to the vendor for an evaluation to make sure that it was just an issue with that part and not a more systemic problem with the new furnace. Also I was assured by the technician that there was no charge as it is under warranty.

I had a great experience with Pete 2 years ago buying our furnace. They were quick to install it and fix some of the duct work.Over the last month I have been getting set up for a conversion from LP to natural gas. I set up an appointment for them to come out and convert on Thursday. Tuesday morning we ran out of LP. I called Apollo and told them about this and Chuck worked it out in the schedule to have a tech come out and take care of it late Tuesday. Huge thanks to Chuck, Pete, and Bill!

Apollo charged us $448 for hour of work!!After our blower motor went out on an 8-9 year old furnace, Apollo replaced it under warranty. The cost for the part was covered under warranty, but labor was not. After 2 trips to our home to replace the blower motor (Apollo ordered the wrong part originally) which totaled and hour of work, we were given a bill for $448 - which was agreed to prior, under my mistaken assumption that more than an hour of work was needed.Pete, the service manager was of no help, and basically said he didn't our business any longer.Over the past month, we have left 3 messages with the phone staff for the owner Eric, who has yet to return our calls.I would not recommend this company.D. Buyer beware! Our furnace went out during a week-long deep freeze. Apollo quoted us $6,700.00 for a new furnace, installed. That is $2,600 and $2,400 higher than two other HVAC companies. Sure felt like they were taking advantage of our desperate situation in freezing weather. We chose another company and are happy with the outcome.

Even though they were not able to work with the brand of mini split air conditioning unit I have, the consultant that came out what was very nice, professional and did offer my some advise if I did choose to proceed with my research. I would call them again in further.

Personally I worked with Tony and Eric... My air conditioner went out, we determined after further inspection that my furnace was also unsafe due to a cracked plenum, so it was a full system replacement. The appointment was scheduled, they showed up bright and early DURING a thunderstorm with extreme heat and humidity AND we lost power at my house about 5 minutes into starting work on the removal of my old system. They continued to work under flashlight in my dark basement, finished the job and power came on about 30 minutes after they were cleaned up, which they stuck around for to make sure I'd be up and running once it did. HUGE shootout to Tony, Eric and Apollo for going above and beyond. I recommend them to anyone with HVAC needs!

We’ve been using Apollo Heating and Air for a number of years. The techs are always friendly and professional. However, I highly recommend getting a second opinion on any repair or replacement before spending $$$ with Apollo. We had a repair done this summer that would have been hundreds less with another provider—they charged $1100 for something that typically maxes out at $800 on the highest end system, which we don’t have. We will be using a different company in the future.

We've had Apollo Heating and Air Conditioning out a few times now for general maintenance and also repairing an issue with our furnace thermostat. Each time they were prompt in regards to communication, respectful, and completed work in a timely manner.

Very professional...sent text when on the way, friendly technician who found a problem we were unaware of. Even though the part was a month past warranty they knocked the price in half. We will use them again.

Had this company come to fo a flush of my water heater. There were no issues just doing a simple yearly maintainence. He tries to sell me a new water heater, keep in mind there are no issues with my water heater with exceptiin to it being old. Upon leaving, the technician says that there is now a leak from the drain valve. He says We can come back out and can give you a deal on parts and labor. What? It was not leaking when he came and now it is leaking a lot. I call Apollo and they have the technician calls me back. He says you used a coupon for the flush, we dont even make any money on that. I was baffled. Needless to say, I will never use Apollo again.

Andrew very thoroughly explained what was causing the problems with my A/C. Because of the age of my heating and A/C I decided to do no repairs at this time. However, I will likely go with Apollo when I decide to replace my current systems.

I recently got rid of my trusty old Lennox Pulsejet that was in the house when I moved to MN in 1990's. I do most of my own furnace maintenance, and in the early 2000's, I found that the heat exchanger was cracked. Since this was covered by the Lennox warranty, I had Apollo come and replace it. I thought the labor charge was a little steep, but accepted it. Several days later when I first tried to use the furnace again, it would not ignite. I was going to look at it myself, but I wound up calling Apollo instead since this was obviously related to the recent service. It turns out there was a connection that was not properly fastened. I had some heartburn with being charged another service call, but paid it and vowed never to call Apollo again.Fifteen years of reliable, trusty service followed with only minor issues, mostly replacing the flapper valve and spark plug. Yearly testing found the new exchanger to be airtight. There was nothing like hearing that rumbling purr coming from the basement on a cold winter night. However, after 20+ years, t'was time for a new furnace.Okay, so you're probably wondering why I'm writing this...well, after removing the Lennox, I disassembled it to see how things held up, including cutting into the exchanger to look for corrosion (very little). This is when I found a lot of horribly bad workmanship by Apollo's service tech. Unfastened ground wires, missing bolts, missing washers, etc...seriously? Most notably...missing bolts on the exchanger manifold, which could easily have resulted in a CO leak. While it's possible, that the offending technician is no longer there, this story still needed to be told. If anyone at Apollo reads this, bring it to the attention of your present employees as an example that, yes, quality does matter, and a shoddy job will come back to haunt you.

No contact until after their 4 hour window then I was told another half hour wait until the service person would arrive. I asked for discount they said no. Poor business will not use them again myself unfortunately I'm house sitting for someone who set up this appointment otherwise I would have cancelled.

I had used Apollo for years for furnace tuneups and repairs. Had them out recently for a tuneup and was told I needed a new furnace -- there was water on the floor and they said the secondary heat exchanger was leaking. To be sure, I decided to get a second opinion. They found it was only a drain pipe connection that was leaking -- quick fix and my furnace is working fine. They did CO2 checks and no issues. Very disappointed with Apollo

--Our a/c went out on friday night--temp was 80 degrees--- we emailed Apollo and first thing Saturday morning Julie called us to set up appointment that morning--Bill Butler was there and fixed the a/c by 11 am!! .. Turns out we needed to update the 23 year old Furnace and A/C. Holly spent her evening on the phone with us trying to figure out financing which she didn't have to do, on her own time. The installers showed up on time, they were efficient and did a great job. I would call them again if I were to need an installation again.

Honestly I am disappointed. When The sales person came I specifically talked about wanting a quieter unit. Well it's not any quieter than my last unit and in fact it's causing issues with my tinnitus while I sleep. I had a problem the 1st day and when the technician came he told me the Lennox was much quieter you could barely hear it. And had I known that for 600 more dollars I would have purchased that.

Blake & his co-worker John were terrific. They called in advance to let me know they were roughly 20 minutes away. Upon arrival, they got right to work performing a routine maintenance check on my furnace. Blake confirmed all was in proper working order. Additionally, he pointed out the motor in my furnace has seen a rather large uptick in failures. So much so that the manufacturer had them on backorder. Not exactly comforting but, I sure do appreciate the heads up regarding this issue.Kudos to Blake & John.

My air-conditioner wouldn't turn on the other day so I called Apollo on Monday and set up an appointment for Friday - That was the earliest I could get in. It's a good sign that they're busy I think.They called me back about an hour later because they had a cancelation and could get me in on Tuesday AM - Next day service!Chris the Tech arrived right on time and got to work diagnosing my problem. It's obvious he knew what he was doing as he deciphered the issues quickly. He explained everything to me and made sure I understood what todays problem was, and any future problems that could be lurking down the calendar so I could make an informed decision.Once he felt I understood the problems properly, he went over a number of different solutions that ranged from a cheap Band-Aid fix to a complete system replacement and everywhere in between. Through all of that it was clear he was not pressuring me into any one decision, just that he wanted me to know the risks/benefits of each option.After I made my selection, he completed his work, closed all my equipment back up as it was humming away. We settled up and he even found a special deal for me that was on Apollos website to save me a few bucks.This was a great service call experience for me and I wouldn't hesitate to use Apollo again - especially if all their techs are like Chris.Thank you.

Chris came out on a Friday night in the dead of winter to help get my furnace running after diligently trying to walk me through troubleshooting on the phone to try to spare me the after hours rates. Even though I wasn’t able to fix it myself, the trip charge was worth it. Chris knew the system well and worked hard to diagnose what turned out to be a tricky issue I would’ve had no hope of fixing myself anyways. He even put up with me curiously peeping over his shoulder the whole time trying to follow along with what he was doing. Give the man a raise!

I can’t speak highly enough about Apollo. I called and spoke to a representative after hours to schedule an emergency visit. We had a leak coming from our a/c unit and a gas leak. Apollo was extremely accommodating. Bill (the technician) arrived on time (was even sent an automated message with a picture of Bill included letting me know that he was on his way). When Bill arrived he quickly got to work after speaking with me about some issues that I was having, discovered multiple issues. We had a gas leak that he was quickly able to resolve. This was a huge blessing considering I had a different HVAC company out two days prior and not fixing the issue. We also had a water leak that was quickly resolved by Bill. I appreciate that he had all the tools necessary to complete the job and did not have to keep running to a store like the other company I previously used. Bill was knowledgeable and professional. I will never use or recommend another HVAC company other than Apollo after the level of service that I received today. Thank you to Bill and the entire team at Apollo.

Jimmy V was exceptional. He showed up when he said he would. So he was punctual. He explained what he was going to do and how long it would take. He was accurate. He showed us what he did and checked it over at least twice. He is very clean, didn't leave a mess, wouldn't even know he was here. Very knowledgeable and really seems to like what he does. Jimmy smiled when he talked, happy to answer any and all of my questions. We feel that Jimmy is a 5 STAR guy.

Context: I've been highly skeptical of the 'furnace tune-up special' for many years - knowing many companies use it only as a way to sell you other services. Moreso, 20 yrs ago, I asked a HVAC tech about the '21 pt' inspection - and the tech laughed and said 'not much.' So, for the last 20 yrs, I've been fixing and 'tuning up' my own furnace.Something seemed off with my furnace - it is10 yrs old and new to me in my new home. So, hesitantly, I booked a tune-up with Apollo's coupon special.Apollo's tech Chris Uhler visited for a furnace tune-up in my new to me home. Chris was awesome! He was the ultimate professional - coming in ready to work, wearing shoe covers and asking what issues and concerns I had.Watching him, I was even more impressed. The technology he had -- cameras, sensors, apps on his phone, and standard hi-end voltmeter were super impressive. He was testing and analyzing things I never imagined were possible. He quickly diagnosed several issues with my furnace,, made a number of adjustments right on the spot (no charge), and let me know pros/cons of fixing now versus later and other options.Chris even indulged me with a little voltmeter education (I'm a closet DIY HVAC professional ;-) ... and engineer at heart.) He was patient, asked several times any other questions or concerns (didn't try to rush right out), and educated me on my overall furnace workings.In summary, what a great experience! Wonderful, reliable service as always. Were able to have a new furnace installed same-day after a routine inspection showed our old furnace was malfunctioning. Happy with the result and will continue to rely on them for future needs.

Firstly, Andrew followed all Covid protocol throughout the entire visit. Andrew was able to quickly identify the issue with my cooling system and even show me parts of it I never knew existed… which happened to be the problem parts also.I was given many options on what the next steps were and they even offered financing for the more speedy options if I needed it. No matter what I decide to do, I for sure will be using them as a regular service from now on.*edit* after writing this, I thought about how quickly he was able to take a quick look at the system and know every single detail of every pice of the system, including the type of coolant it contains. Apollo answered my Saturday furnace emergency repair phone call with a live person (not an answering machine) and sent (within half an hour) Bill to my house to make a “band-aid” repair restoring heat to our house until Monday morning when they’ll install a new furnace. I couldn’t be more pleased with the prompt response and professional attention to my situation on this cold winter day.

Apollo HVAC did a Great job estimating, installing and follow up to make sure everything is working! We had a mini split system installed and am totally satisfied with the result! I wish I would have done the install much earlier. I would (and have) recommend Apollo to friends. Every Apollo service technician was professional, curious, and answered all questions!

Brad came on a Saturday after our 21 year old furnace quit working the night before. He found the problem immediately (failed pressure switch) and installed a temporary one because parts for our old furnace are not stocked. Drew the Apollo service technician who came to our rescue, diagnosed the reason for our AC not cooling our house, and did the repair work was awesome. Our AC went down at absolutely the wrong time, an extended 90F+ heat wave that no doubt did some damage to a lot of other AC's. Drew determined we had a coolant leak, refilled lines with coolant, and then returned a few days later to repair the leak and test vacuum on line. He was efficient, knew exactly what to do, was very cordial and then moved on to his next many jobs. Hat's off to Drew and Apollo for taking care of our AC issues in a timely and professional manner. Apollo will be the first place we call for any future AC or heating issues or periodic maintenance. Thanks!

With the recent cold snap my furnace wasn't keeping up and wasn't heating appropriately. I called multiple other companies who didn't have the time to look at my furnace or even call me back. I called Apollo and spoke with Tony who promptly got me on there schedule that day. After a service technician diagnosis my system with a cracked heat exchanger and provided me with options everything from repair to new furnaces. I then called Tony back directly to discuss my options where he scheduled a time to come over to my house and go over those options. Not only did Tony explain all options, he went above and beyond to convey what was needed for my home. I ultimately decided on a new furnace recommended by Tony. He expedited the install of the furnace for the next day. The lead installer Eric, did an amazing job start to finish explaining every step along the way. It wasn't any longer than 30 minutes after Eric left my home did Tony follow-up the install and ask if I had any questions or concerns.I was honestly impressed with the level of care that given to me and my home/family. Also, noteworthy I installed a new thermostat and Eric setup the thermostat and installed the app to my phone were I can control settings from anywhere. Not giving Tony a call at Apollo would be an injustice on your part. Highly recommend their services as I signed for their planned yearly services. Truly impressed that there is honest hardworking people that take pride in their work don't take advantage of older people just genuinely good people!!!

Called for an issue with our furnace. From the start the whole process was simple and clear. Our technician Wang was professional and took care of our issue. He was fantastic, and the experience could not have been better!

The technician who came to service our furnace was very quick. Explained what he found as well as our options. After showing and explaining the issue, we knew we needed to replace our furnace. I can describe this business in one word: PREDATORY!! I have no doubt, their technicians know their stuff, but their best skill is selling you a complete system. That's how they make their money. Their repair estimates are a joke.My central air was only low on R22 freon. It needed less than 2 lbs. They gave me a quote for $2122 to charge my system up to 4 lbs, and the guy tells me to blame the super high cost of freon on the government (that's over $500/lb). What a crook!! My furnace was fine but tried to sell me a complete AC & furnace for a whopping $17,000!!! If you see one of their coupon for tune ups, throw it away, and find another HVAC to fix your AC. I got my AC freon recharge for $120.

We were pleased with the work performed installing our new furnace. This company installed our previous furnace and decided to have them replace our existing furnace which no longer worked.

We had two companies come out and Apollo came in more expensive for comparable products and way more money for a 5 minute fix on our AC.The other company fixed the AC free of charge to get us through the night and they came back the very next morning to replace it. Apollo was very pushy and didn't seem honest.

Op inspection and surge protector installation

Today we had a technician stop by to perform a furnace inspection. He arrived within the time window, texted ahead to say he was coming, and performed the work with no issues. Very polite and personable, as has been the case with every interaction we’ve had with Apollo. I have no reason to not highly recommend this company.

I called Apollo today to set up a dryer duct cleaning as we were having some issues with the vent. I received an immediate call back from their tech, Chris Flores. He was over within two hours and started working on my vent. After over three hours of intense troubleshooting he determined that our dryer vent was not connected at all! He attempted every thing possible in the pouring rain to try and solve my issue. When he found the issue, he got one of the bosses on the phone to see what the next step should be. I am not one who typically leaves reviews but I had to give Chris huge kudos for working so hard for a positive outcome. Thank you, Chris and here's hoping the next step works.

Extremely responsive. Great customer service. I had originally called a different company when my furnace quit working in below zero weather. After being dissatisfied with the company, I called Apollo. Bill (the service technician) was terrific. He took the time to explain in plain language what the issues were with my furnace, which required replacement. He didn’t leave until we had a plan for replacing it. No waiting until someone else called me to schedule. And he was able to get my new furnace scheduled for install the following morning, less than twelve hours later. The first 3 people to examine my in-floor heating focused on issues with the main pump on the water tank. The 4th person suggested replacing the heating system completely. That's not very encouraging. I also had an appointment to service the system the morning of February 2. Nobody showed up and nobody called or sent me email regarding this. Someone stopped in at 2:30, knowing that I was only available until 3:00 that day.

Blake did a great job! Answered all my questions and was very thorough.

All the folks we dealt with at Apollo could not have been nicer. From Brin handling the initial scheduling, to Tina calling to let us know a tech could come by earlier than expected, and, finally, to Brad who performed the repair in a quick fashion and answered all our questions, it was as good an experience as we might hoped.

I scheduled an appointment for a tune-up on our very old furnace. Turns out, there was a carbon monoxide leak. Drew got an estimate for our furnace and also very old air conditioner. The best part is that we'll have a new furnace in one day! It's never fun to spend money on things like this, but we knew this day was coming and are very grateful that the leak was caught! We'll be able to have a brand new efficient furnace now and new efficient AC in the spring. Thank you!

Call for a furnace not working and they came out same day. They did exactly what was needed to repair the heating. Very timely and fair on the cost.

It was Christmas Eve morning and our first sub-zero day of the season. We had received ~9 snow overnight and the roads were icy and iffy. It was cold inside too—our furnace started working when it wanted to, rather than when we wanted. We called Apollo who sent Brad out. He quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. While it is romantic to spend Christmas Eve soaking up heat in front of our fireplace, it is more reassuring to know that our furnace would be working when we wake up on Christmas morning!

Don't waste your time with these jerks.They installed a furnace and air conditioner in my home two years ago and I've been having problems since the temps started dropping a couple weeks ago.Yesterday, I finally called them up and they told me they are booked up for a month. I said fine put me on the calender. They replied with well that wouldn't be until February....QUIT RUNNING ADS THEN!If you can't help an existing customer, you shouldn't be advertising everywhere about your non-existent services.Look elsewhere folks. This company is a joke.

It wasn’t working and they think that I have had something to do with the problems that the system has.It froze up I needed service apparently the warranty on this only applies if Apollo heating and air-conditioning wanted to apply. I bid on a certificate and got a good price but I should’ve known better. We should all know that if it looks too good to be true that it is. I did talk to a former employee who had quit and said he just couldn’t handle the unethical way they did work. ———————————————————————————Well here we go again! June 23rd and water is dripping into my house from the same location as my first post! I didn’t mention that I was charged hundreds of dollars for a service call and whatever smoke and mirrors they pulled last time. They blamed my filter which I freely admit was not as clean as the two I have used so far this year. This current filter had been in less than 5 days! This should not be happening!! I don’t want to call because I am sure they will blame it on something they will claim I did. BUYER BEWARE!!!

Our furnace (blower motor) went out overnight, leaving us with a 58 degree house on Feb 14. We called Apollo’s 24/7 emergency line at about 6am. We got a call from an Apollo tech, Brad R., who arrived shortly after the call to assess the overall problem. Brad was knowledgeable about our furnace and was able to discuss our repair options. He was prompt and helpful.We have been Apollo customers for many years and continue to rely on their expertise for our heating and cooling needs. Their sales reps and technicians are knowledgeable and have consistently provided solid, reliable advice.

Technician came out in the middle of a record heat wave and fixed my unit after less than an hour. Called in a Monday afternoon and was fixed by the next afternoon. Also was very helpful giving me some tips for AC maintenance and other household items (I am a new homeowner)…couldn’t recommend enough!

New install maintenance not fixed….horrendous noise in unit (we have video), because it can’t be replicated by technician, there is “nothing we can do”. Very disappointing when you spend $11k for new units.

We've had both our air conditioner and recently our furnace replaced by Apollo. Previously mostly pleased with results, even joined their service plan. Installers did not try ac when installing because furnace install in Nov. Was told I would need to call in warm weather to have them look at it.Turned air conditioner on for the first time since furnace install this summer and it wasn't cooling properly. It's a 5 year old unit. Called them immediately asking to have someone tune it up/ check diagnostics and they said they couldn't for a month. Would only come if I said it was broken, so they could charge, since that was outside of service plan. I said fine, $90 bucks to have someone fix our ac when it's hot rather than wait a month was worth it.The man came and explained that since I hadn't purchased the $800 thermostat they tried to sell me with the furnace, my ac couldn't adjust temp properly, and I should just keep the temperature set rather than let it be on a schedule. I'd also recently cleaned the AC, so he reasoned that would fix it. Levels on the ac were not checked, and I was not charged for this visit.A couple weeks later, I called them back, since the ac still wasn't cooling properly. It worked fine all last summer. This time they checked refrigerant, which was incredibly low, and as a bonus since the ac had been running constantly the capacitor was bad. I was informed a leak had somehow developed in our ac between last summer and this summer. $700 fix for what I truly believe is something they bungled while installing furnace, and they cannot come back to confirm the fix for another 6 weeks. They wouldn't touch it before I paid, and suggested I could talk to service manager if I had a problem with that.Tried calling service manager, and have not heard back. Not pleased.

Jimmy did a great job of telling me what was wrong with our Reznor garage heater and fixing it fast. While Jimmy was very helpful, it was a unit that Apollo installed less than 1 year ago and it appears to be have been an issue at install.

Apollo provided professional, prompt, friendly service from beginning to end. We had a service call to diagnose an AC leak. Knowing that our unit and the furnace were 20 years old, we knew we might have to replace them soon. The installers were polite and efficient. Even at the end of a long (and very hot!) day, they weren't rushed or impatient, taking time to answer all of our questions. Beyond that, they took the time to do the installation right in our utility room, correctly some incidental issues that they could have just ignored.

Chris was on time , professional and responsive to our needs. Have used this company for years after trying many others and I am always satisfied. Great customer service.

I asked for a quote for an AC and furnace system, and they asked to do an onsite visit before giving the quote. They were only able to commit to a four hour window during work hours for that visit, so I had to miss a half-day of work to accommodate their visit. On the day of the appointment, they were unable to show up, so I missed a half-day of work for nothing. I then pursued alternative contractors with a better commitment to customer service.

Great tech! Just stinks we had to pay 550 bucks to let a 1.5 lbs of refrigerant out. It was overcharged or had too much refrigerant in it and had to pay $550 to let a pound and a half out it was a little steep.

Bill said Trane air conditioner was low on freeon. I do not understand that a freeon boost would be over $1000.00. Air conditioner works fine except for that. I have had an freeon boost two years ago and it did not cost this exhorbitant price.

I was so impressed! Fast service, reasonable rates, and the technicians were so friendly. I am a very happy customer.

A friendly and knowledgeable sales person came to provide a second opinion and quote for a new furnace and ac unit. Of the four quotes I received they were the most expensive, by a lot. Their basic 80% efficient furnace and ac was $3700 more than the 96% efficient furnace and AC that I received from our local company Anderson Heating and Cooling. Apollo was also big on trying to sell add on bells and whistles that no one’s needs and add huge profit margins to their ticket.I guest someone has to pay for their fancy commercials and give aways. Highly recommend getting several quotes before you sign on the dotted line.

My AC needed to be replaced. The rep said he'd get back to me with quotes for the cost of the new AC and never did. I had to call Apollo to discuss this.

Bill was out to our house and did a great job. We had a AC breakdown on a Thursday at 9pm and by Friday before 9 we were up and running! Bill followed all CDC guidance which was comforting for my family. My only recommendation to Apollo would be to stop asking for my review days after I did one on their own platform. Well done on my AC repair but please update your tech features.

Paid over $200 for a service call for someone to come and diagnose why my ac wasn't working. I was told the fan motor was shot and needed replacement for $750. I decided to hold off on replacing it. Well after taking a leaf blower and blowing the dirt out the fan started working. Just curious on how they came up with a diagnosis of shot motor? Glad I didn't spend the $750. They did come out same day so I give them credit for that.

I had an amazing experience from Apollo. Tony and Erik were very helpful with all my HVAC needs on my new construction home. Both were very friendly and were always just one call away if I needed anything. I used them again this summer for installing an infloor heating system in my shop. 2 thumbs up!!!!

I purchased an HVAC system through this company 5 years ago. Their pricing was reasonable and they had financing options. This week I had an issue with my AC system. I called to speak to someone on a Sunday and they were able to get a technician out within 2 days. He diagnosed and did the repair that day and was able to apply the product warranty so that I only paid for the service. They also have a great yearly maintenance plan with different pricing levels to fit individual's needs. In addition to that, someone from the company called me after the service to make sure that everything was working and I was satisfied with their service.

I bought the extra care plan with my new furnace. I had my first furnace tune up & testing done this week. Tony was very thorough, took his time and gave me some very good information on how to keep my furnace running at its best. I feel Apollo goes the extra mile.

Tony and crew were just fantastic! We had two very unique projects that required the skills, knowledge, and experience of professionals like they have at Apollo. We completed an addition to our house (2016) and a in-floor heat in a garage/shop (2018). Both of which had very tight time lines that Tony and crew were able to meet.Apollo has the ability to take on just about any kind of HVAC work, but it seemed to me they really EXCEL at unique projects like we had. We did have other companies quote the project with plans that were cheaper, but just would not meet the expectations of the job. The salesmen of other companies were just that, salesmen. Kong Khang did a follow up on a repair to my air conditioner prior to the beginning of summer. They weren't sure how the repair would work, but assured me this was the way to go rather than buying a new air conditioner. After Kong was finished, he couldn't find a problem so the repair earlier worked. I had several other questions to ask Kong and he was more than happy to answer, making sure I was satisfied before he left...and I appreciated it.

The work that was done was great, but the communication was subpar. I was told when the guy came out for the estimate that it would take no longer than 2 weeks to get everything in. It’s now been a month. The duct work was all done but for a week and a half later still no actual furnace or AC unit. I finally had to call them (three times actually before I finally got someone to give me information) to have them tell me that someone was suppose to call me a week prior to give me options on when I wanted them installed. Again the work was great, but the communication was terrible. They still have a bunch of equipment and tin sitting around our house and I’ve gotten no update as to when they will be fully done and have all their stuff out.

Work done was happy with. Over two months from installation though and still awaiting refund due to the fact they couldn t install the wi fi thermostat I was charged for. Also when either taking out old furnace or bringing new, scratches were put in the six panel oak door. Pictures were taken mid November by Apollo and was told this would be addressed. Call made Dec. 16 regarding both these issues and was told call would be returned to me. Called again on 12/30 and was told I would get a return call again.Have always used Apollo and been very happy. Hopefully situation will be addressed promptly and I will continue to use going forward.

I have been using Apollo for my HVAC needs since 2016, and I've always been impressed with the professionalism and convenience of their services. They replaced an air conditioning unit in 2016 and a furnace in 2017, and they were very affordable. Being a long-time homeowner, I've been taught some new things for taking care of the HVAC needs to keep things running well, and I'm grateful for that especially with how expensive it is to replace improperly maintained equipment. I look forward to getting many good years out of the HVAC equipment that Apollo helped me invest in.

Came out on a Saturday to fix an A/C that had mysteriously stopped running. Bill diagnosed the issue quickly (mice chewed through some wiring), repaired it, and gave me a tip on how to help prevent them doing it again.It was an on-call trip but the price was reasonable. I'll definitely call them again for service or repairs.

Because of our set up we were not able to get a new liner into our chimney, hence the need for CO detector. My furnace failed on a Saturday night. Bill called me back within seconds after hanging up from the answering service. He was out promptly the next morning. Within about 15 minutes , hewas able to diagnose the problem and repair it. Bill gave me valuable recommendations about the remaining life of the unit and next action steps. When I called the after hours number the woman who answered asked me several questions, Name Number, Email address, Home Address. I explained to her that I had a Rheem furnace and the fan motor went out and wanted to know if they could fix it and cost. Yes they would be able to fix it but she did not know the cost and would have someone call me. Received a call back at 6:53 pm and he said he would be at my home in 15 minutes. He arrived and went in the basement seen it was a Rheem and I don't have parts for Rheems. He was here all of 6 minutes and said to call in the morning and talk to the office. I called this morning at 8:00 am and explained to the woman who answered that I was calling because someone came to the house last night and did not fix the furnace and I did not need him to come back because I had already had it fixed. She told me the charge was 209.00. Really? Yes. He did not do anything and was here all of 6 minutes! That is ridiculous! I expected 100.00 because it was after hours and I would of gladly have paid more if he would of fixed something. I explained to the woman on the phone exactly what I needed and she said they would be able to fix it. Otherwise I would of kept calling around for a dealer that could fix a Rheem. I feel as though I should get a refund of at least 109.00 if not free since I was told it could be fixed.

Well, I was pretty satisfied with the service until I got an 'invoice' from them. A flat amount and would not explain the breakdown. In talking with Bill before he came he did say it would be a $249 service call on a Sunday. But the bill is for $409 - to replace a thermastat (!) which I chose a pretty basic one. So far, no one will explain the cost on this which I find suspicious.

Apollo came early in designated time frame. He was polite, professional and efficient. Found the issue, corrected it, gave me maintenance tips and answered all my questions. We have had furnace/air conditioning system set up by them 8 years ago and this is first time needed.

Tony answered the call when no one else did, not only did he make time to come out later in the day on Friday to see what was wrong, he gathered what he needed and came back that same evening to fix our furnace. A++ for Service and responsiveness, he was great to deal with and ensured that we would be taken care of and invoiced properly. High Five!

When I called Apollo, the phone was answered right away. The administrative staff were very friendly and I was able to get a next day appointment. That was a relief as I had the water off in the whole house. Tanner arrived on time. He was professional and hard working. He did an awesome job fixing a leaking pipe, putting in new shower fixtures, bibbs, and handles as the old ones were hard for me to turn. He fixed up some shoddy plumbing from when the house was first built. Tanner cleaned up as he went. He was at my house for most of the day and was constantly working. I couldn't be more pleased with the results.

I had an appointment for a time window of 10:00 to noon. At 12:15 the technician had not shown up, so I called Apollo. I was told my appointment had been pushed back because the service person was running late. My question was when were you going to tell me? . I needed to leave for work and was unable to wait until late afternoon for them to show. I understand these schedules can be hard to keep at times, but, they should have called me when they realized there was a problem.

Never a good thing when your furnace stops working on a Sunday when the temp is -17 outside and dropping inside. Apollo took my call right away and a technician got back to me within a short period of time. He offered a suggestion - turning the furnace off and on, then when the problem persisted, he came right out and located the problem, plus fixed another problem - a detached hose. I am very happily warm now, and very impressed with the company Apollo and the technician Brad.

The tech came out and told us our furnace was bad and leaking CO without really looking at it, or even turning it on. They charged us and sent a salesman for a new furnace. We got a second opinion, because a new furnace is no small purchase for our family. The kids had put rocks in the exhaust pipe. I found out that day that the techs get a commission for leads to salesmen. We payed a service guy to lie to us. That should be illegal.

Brad was excellent in analyzing the air conditioner problem which was that wires had frayed and broke giving no power to the air conditioner. Brad also showed us on the outside unit that the side filters can become clogged with material and they should be cleaned regularly.

Very knowledgeable and personable HVAC technician came to my home and thoroughly checked and tested my non-operating mini-split system. After determining repairs needed the technician provided a written (electronic) quote with different repair options noted.

Service tech was condescending and rude. He talked more about his misfortune in life than doing his job. He was trying to take us for almost 3 V8times what another company quoted us. He complained to my wife about how he hates his job. Terrible experience will never us this company.

I have known Apollo for over 30 years. My current experience has been excellent. The technician was knowledgeable, experienced, and friendly. I needed a new water heater but went a bit beyond due to the techs recommendations. I'm very satisfied with everything.

After a service visit from an Xcel service company, we learned that our furnace was emitting deadly levels of CO2. I contacted 3 different companies for a quote on a new furnace. Apollo was the last company I called, but the first to respond with a knowledgeable, friendly, and proactive employee, Pete Flanigan. We were pleased with the purchase options, systems, and speed of the assessment. Pete made some suggestions on other changes that would positively affect the efficacy of the system as a whole. We were loaned 2 heaters, and are happy with the current experience. Our install begins tomorrow!

I had an issue with my heat pump that happened after 5pm on the hottest day of the year. They sent Kong Khang out to take a look.
