I have a house of all women and we shed hair like no other!!! After buying our house, the bathtub drain began getting backed up. After several failed attempts with different drain cleaner brands, I couldn't get my drain unclogged. Thankfully for Eric, he came and saved the day. Eric also checked the conductivity of the outlet connects to my dishwasher and garbage disposal. We lessened that my outlet was good and he swapped out my garbage disposal.I highly suggest using Eric for all your plumbing needs. He's reliable, trustworthy, and will actually get the job done without suggesting other work to be done. Eric was super friendly, punctual, and easy to communicate with. He is knowledgeable and won't try to cut any corners. Thanks Eric!!!

These guys are great. No wonder I had to wait a couple of days to get them, but well worth it. Steve is funny, knowlegeable and has the parts in his truck! Not only did they fix the issue (a circuit board, a sensor and something else), but they also cleaned the coils.

My refrigerator went out and I was afraid it was going to need to buy a new one. Fortunately these guys had the parts and gave me two choices. Fix it today at ~$800 or purchase a new one at ~$2100.

Their refrigerator magnet will stay affixed to my refrigerator and I will certainly use them again.

The plumber was wonderful! Very attentive and precise! Able to unclog a kitchen drain without having to hack into the pipes.

I work @ a retail store here in Davis. And our toilet gets clogged up every week and every week it gets clogged up every single time. Our store has our go to plumber but we’re sick of it. Long story short after 3 different visit from 3 different plumber Eddie who goes by “Ed” was able to fix and contain the problem. Eddie explained to us what the issue was and went right to it. He knew what to do as soon as he saw where it was coming from. Ed took his time to trace the issue, was very knowledgeable of what he was doing and most importantly is that after he was done its like he wasn’t even there like he didn’t touch anything and our bathroom just miraculously started working again. Overall this guy is it. I wouldn’t hesitate doing business with Eddie and would call him whenever I need some leaks stopped in my household. 10 out of 10 great customer service great personality, quick, and clean. Thanks again you have our business.

Do Not use this service!!!!! This company is the biggest scam and waste of your time!! I called to get bolts replaced on my business bathroom toilet and I was informed of a $89 charge for coming out. The technician looked at the toilet for 1 minute then came back with price options of $1260, $900 , $750 and $450 for “bandaid” service which mean what the heck does that mean??? I ended paying the $89 for nothing I would be very learybofbthis company as they are con artist.

I have hired Joe for several home maintenance and repair needs. Replacing/installing doors, moving of a door, and door handles/deadbolt replacement, drywall and painting, removal and fixing dryrot. Joe is very knowledgeable, his work is professional at a reasonable price.

The sewer was backing up from our cleanout. The plumber that came out (Jacob) was amazing. He was able to determine the clog was on the city side saving us hundreds of dollars. He even called the city out for us. Will be using for my plumbing needs in the future.

Courtney is courteous, friendly and professional. She replaced our furnace filter and UV light and made sure everything was in good condition. She also followed up on a noise issue she had troubleshot last summer on our AC unit to ensure that it had not returned. We now request her for maintenance any time she’s available. She’s great!

I have had a very positive experience with Shields Plumbing! Scott came to address several plumbing issues in the house I recently bought. He is very knowledgeable about plumbing issues and is efficient, professional, and skilled at what he does. He was able to locate and identify the problems and repair them quickly. He insulated pipes, repaired a whole house water filtration system and reverse osmosis system, repaired an outdoor water leak, installed bathroom sink and tub/shower faucets, and hooked up the ice maker in my new refrigerator. He did all of this while also being very pleasant to be around. I was very comfortable with him working in and around my home. In addition to all of this he was VERY reasonably priced! He also communicated very well and showed up when he said he would and assured me that I could call him if there were any issues with any of his work! I HIGHLY recommend Shields plumbing!

Let me say I usually dont leave reviews, but I definitely had to make mention that being without air when outside temp is 105 degrees is definitely not fun. But despite my frustration the employee Bonny @ Gilmore made my experience as a customer a pleasant one. I felt heard and understood She was nice, professional, helpful and empathic to my situation. Everything she told me she was going to do she did. She was patient and Im pleased to say she went beyond her duty. Its hard to find good customer service, now a days, but not with Bonney. I was really impressed. I also want to make mention of Greg, he came out to my house spoke with me, explained everything step by step. He was so polite , professional and thorough. Thank you Gilmore for having wonderful emplyees. Hopefully I wont need to call anytime soon.

Vaughn was the tech who arrived on time. He was very professional, found the leak and was very patient in answering all my questions. I am so pleased with the service.

Some people have bad things to say of advanced plumbing, I had the opposite experience. I will admit, if you want a good technician you will have to wait and wait quite awhile, learn to test your patience a bit! But the manager was above the standard. He was easy to reach, responsible, humorous and got the job done, even when he had to stay after hours. I would recommend this company to all.
