Armstrong Plumbing was great to work with! They arranged the appointment around my busy schedule and arrived early in the window. Forest was friendly and professional and took care of my kitchen sink leak very quickly.

Two gentlemen came to our home (which I had gotten their names); we couldn't get our hose disconnected from the faucet (outside); took them less than 15 minutes to do the job and they did NOT CHARGE us. When oh when do you ever find a company that will perform a service and not charge you. We have used Armstrong Plumbing over the years and they are the best bar none, plumbing company in the business! We love them. Thank you again Armstrong Plumbing for being the best you can be.

The whole staff at Armstrong Plumbing are very professional, helpful and friendly. George K. has handled various plumbing jobs for me and does an excellent job - highly recommend. He works quickly because he knows what he is doing and does a thorough job. Last thing he does is double check the job upon completion to make sure all is working as it should. My Experience:
I contacted and scheduled an appointment with Armstrong Plumbing to look at my toilet and fix a few things related to plumbing that have been annoying my wife and I.

Their dispatcher was upfront about the costs we would pay and hourly rates. Once I agreed, they sent their plumber, Vince.

Now, I have a 10 week old son who was at the time of the appointment was in the middle of a nap. Vince came over and was everything you want a service person to be: clean, polite, knowledgeable, empathetic, and cost conscious.

He called instead of rang the door bell, wore slip on covers, used gloves, diagnosed problems, provided ranges of solutions for budgeting and was empathetic of my wife and I dealing with a sleeping child.

When he had to do work, he made sure to be a quiet as possible and told us the expect noise level so we could be ready to either move our child away or stay in the room where he was sleeping.

When we were done, the prices were exactly what was quoted and expected. There was no deviation, no additional charges.

All in all, I had a fantastic experience.

Armstrong Plumbing’s team, led by Peter Chappell, did an excellent job in repiping my house from old galvanized steel pipes to copper. They had expertise to handle whatever issues arose and did the entire job in a workmanlike manner. In addition, they were very professional in responding to all my concerns and in showing great respect for me, the homeowner, in accommodating my requests during the service. To cap it off, their bid actually came in lower than other contractors, with far less experience , who also bid the job. I would definitely recommend Armstrong Plumbing and Peter Chappell for any plumbing need.

The technician was on time, located the exact location of the leak, with the help of a detection tool - problem solved! Will certainly use them for any future plumbing issues.

Assistance with setting up MOEN FLO METER DEVICE

We had Armstrong replace the old galvanized water pipes and cast iron drains, original to our 1950 house, and update us to a tankless hot water heater. They did a great job, worked hard the whole time, were very professional, and left the site as clean as they found it. Water pressure and availability of hot water are much improved, and its great not having to worry about the old pipes failing. They also made sure we had hot and cold running water and at least 1 bathroom available each night. My only quibble would be that the crew were only here for about 6 hours a day (including lunch break) for the first 2 days of what was estimated to be a 3 day project, then had to work extra hours on days 3 and 4 plus half a day on day 5 to finish up. We had to board our dogs for the duration of the project, so the extra days were a bit of a hardship.

I have used Armstrong for my water softer install and they were great. This time I called Armstrong told the lady on the phone I have a leak under the kitchen sink w my filters. Why would they not advise the plumber so that he has the right tools. I felt that I paid 165.00 for nothing. Send someone experienced in that area ??? Filters can leak if not changed from all the minerals collected from the water, it’s called build up. I don’t use the water from my kitchen sink to drink so I removed the water filtration myself. I could not see paying an Add’l 80 something an hour or 30mins. Their base rate is first 30mins 165.00 felt ripped off and no fix????? I can see 50.00 for a no fix but 165.00 crazy. Michael was nice but not knowledgeable w filters

Have a rental, renter called and said shower drains and toilets not draining. Called Armstrong plumbing , talked to service dispatch about 9:30 am, by 11:30 they had a tech at the house. By 1:00 showers and toilets working great. The tech, George, knowledgeable and did'nt stop til he found and solved the issue.

Was impressed that Armstrong was able to send a tech so quickly.

Man, the technicians that come out are literally clueless and unlicensed. Two technicians came out and drilled a bolt over an existing bolt, damaged my floors (saying that they know how to do flooring but in reality, they don't).

These good reviews are a scam. They charged me on small caps and did a UNPROFESSIONAL job.

Mark came within the scheduled window, worked efficiently, communicated what we was doing, and cleaned up well. He cut out and replaced an old brass fitting connecting a bathroom sink p-trap with the waste pipe, which appeared a little tricky.

The repair to my gas line was completed today by Plumber Mark of Armstrong Plumbing. Mark arrived on time, and went right to work. The estimator had thoroughly explained the job to Mark so he knew what he needed to do. The job took less than an hour and the price was very reasonable. I have spent hours worrying about this gas leak. Prior to working with Armstrong, I called 4 other plumbing companies that did not want to bother with this job. One other company sent a plumber out who had no tools and no idea what to do to find and fix the problem. Working with Armstrong Plumber I felt reassured that they would resolve my gas leak and they did.

Joe Arney the Plumber was on time diagnosed the problem quickly and as luck would have it what I thought was an expensive sewer leak was simply a dried out shower water trap. Good work Joe.

Will was very knowledgeable, professional, thorough and neat. He cleared our drain fast and efficiently and cleaned up the valve area when finished. He also gave us information on water heaters. This company seems to have it all together from fast scheduling to excellent service. We would not hesitate to use them again.

On 2/24/2016 you sent out two “Techs” to check on a water leak in the planter area near my water meter. They dug a shallow hole next to the meter about a foot and a half deep and two shovels width wide. They proded around in the dirt and had no clue as to where the water was coming from. Your bill stated it took one person ½ hour and the other 3.5 hours. I watched and quite frankly was less than assured that they knew what they were doing. When questioned neither had any idea as to where the water was coming from. They compiled a very costly estimate to the tune of $6435. Based on what I saw, I called in another company to evaluate the problem and give me a bid to repair the leak. Within minutes of arriving they located the leak on the other side of the water meter. As stated in my email, the job was done in 2.5 hours for the total cost of $2500 by the Trenchless co.
I really don't believe that Armstrong is a dishonest company in doing plumbing repairs but you do have a problem.
I was watching the 2 people doing the investigative work (that term is being generous) the short time they were there and what they did was not reassuring my confidence. I am convinced that they did not have a clue as to how to deal with the problem at hand and they over estimated the cost to compensate and cover their behinds. Something to thing about with respect to training and estimating job costs.

Following the Feb. 6 Email that I sent you, I received a response from customer service indicating they would check into it and contact me. Since then have not heard a word.
I did however received a bill for $675.00 to “locate water leak” near my water meter. Keep in mind they did not locate the water leak. Check your invoice #56532. They came up with some cockamamie estimate that had no credibility. I refuse to pay this bill. If you want to pursue it further feel free, I am very disappointed in what occurred. I will remind you that I had considerable work done by your company in suite B. Now I question the legitimacy of those expenditure as well. I will not do business with your company again.

Had a clogged kitchen sink. Ramon M called before he came and arrived right on time. Explained everything as he went and was very efficient, informative and POLITE! He even did agreat job cleaning up. Great job Ramon M!!!

Suresh and Carlos were an excellent team, communicating arrival and their work period, and doing the work with good quality and efficiency. They showed care for me by letting me know unforeseen leaks with the sewer pipe early with plenty of time for me to decide to let them work on it. As lead, Suresh was constantly working and thinking ahead with the plumbing repipe. He also thoroughly cleaned the corrosion from my faucets and shower after doing much of the work down below. Carlos was also very experienced and knowledgeable of the work and took extra care to ask about decision points with respect and professionalism. At the end of each day, they closed open trenches and the crawl-space access. Armstrong Plumbing delivered what they bid and also were very generous with their service while being a very competitive price. I am very happy with the value and level of service this team provided, and would greatly recommend friends to use them.

I will definitely recommend Armstrong plumbing. I had another company out last year and they were here about 30-40 mins. and it cost me considerably more and the price kept changing (although it started as a fixed price). Armstrong charges by the hour/half-hour and I really felt that I got my monies worth and that the problem is really handled this time!

Its a little intimidating when you do not know ANYTHING about plumbing and here is this company that simplifies what the issue is for you and makes you feel like the driver of what needs to be done. Folsom owner experiencing pin-hole water leak; I called Armstrong Plumbing, and thankfully they were not able to schedule me in for the same day. They were however able to get their remediation manager out to take a look. It was unfortunately a bad experience, as Mike pushed for a complete tear down of the entire area that was wet. The estimate was over $1K. The plumber I actually hired didn't recommend this action was warranted. I was quoted for removal of insulation when no insulation was in this garage space. If I hadn't gone up into the garage attic and checked myself, Armstrong's professional advice would have costed me unnecessary repairs. Buyer beware!

Joe was on time and very professional. He fixed the leak and also made me aware of how the leak happened. He left me with an estimate to make additional repairs that are not critical now but should be taken care of in the future to avoid a repeat. This is the third time I’ve called Armstrong Plumbing and I’m always very happy with their work and their professionalism.

George was great, even arrived early! A bit pricey, I was told the cost when I called for service, since we have used them before, we knew we would get good work.

They were on time they did their job they were polite and didn't take them long and then they left to see another customers.

Joe rebuilt my kitchen faucet that's been working since I bought my house 40 years ago. The model is discontinued and it mounts on a backsplash covered in tile installed in 1927. I was very concerned about finding a replacement that would work with the existing set up after spending the weekend unsuccessfully searching the internet. My imagination was working overtime. Kudos to Joe for saving the day.

We had a main line blockage that started Friday night, but it didn't fully stop water flow until Saturday afternoon around 2 PM. We had difficulties locating a licensed plumbing company that was open on Saturday, let alone late enough to avoid emergency rates. We contacted Armstrong Plumbing and was assured by their customer service rep that their technician, Jason, would be able to locate and solve the problem quickly. She was very patient and quoted their likely emergency rates, which started at 4 (the time they closed). She was convincing enough for me to set a tentative appointment for the 5-7 window. Their technician called us in less than an hour to let us know he'd be able to arrive earlier. He showed up and located an old, buried cleanout and cleared the blockage, which turned out to be roots from the front yard. From start to finish, it took about two hours (we recently bought the house, which was made in the 1960s, and knew nothing about it, so he had to locate the main sewer line, which was buried under concrete and rocks under bushes). When he was done, he provided quotes for installing a proper cleanout and replacing the main line, as well as gave me ideas if I just wanted to make a riser above the old cleanout myself. As he was able to arrive before their closing time, and as a first-time customer favor, he charged us straight time, which saved us a nice chunk of change. For the first professional plumbing experience I've had in my adult life (been a renter for 18 years previously), it was surprisingly quick and painless. I don't normally leave reviews, but it's the least I can do for Jason. Thanks, dude.

I can't begin to tell you what amazing service I had with Jason from Armstrong Plumbing. We recently moved to Sacramento from Visalia and moved our washer and dryer hoping to save some money. He problem solved SO MANY different issues that we were confronted with while learning our gas dryer wouldn't work after all, and even after it had been stacked by an uneducated plumber. He came back to our house 2 different times to make sure the job was done correctly and only charged us the bare minimum and only for 1 visit. He even moved our old dryer down our awful windy stairs and helped set up the new dryer we had to purchase from Home Depot. I have had to use plumbers numerous times in the past but never have I had an experience with a plumber so easy to work with and so knowledgable. Needless to say I would HIGHLY recommend Jason W at Armstrong Plumbing.

We called Armstrong Plumbing on the recommendation of an excellent long time property manager and real estate broker. Our job was small, needing expert work due to the age of our home and it's pipes. The courtesy and attention given us could not have been better had our job been large and very profitable. George came and reviewed our needs, and offered some options I had not considered,. The bid came promptly the next day, and was quite fair. Hana scheduled our appointment around our limited timing. George arrived with an apprentice, Jorden (I believe) and it ws a pleasure to watch them work and to watch the teaching. Our job was done well, our bathroom left clean, and we could not be more pleased. I will not hesitate to recommend Armstrong to friends and clients, and will certainly use the from now on for any needs which might arise.

We recently had a sewer line issue at our house and I was referred to Armstrong Plumbing by a neighbor of mine. Knowing nothing myself about how my sewer line works, my complete trust was in them. I called at 3:00 pm on a Tuesday and was informed by a friendly dispatch agent that service would arrive later that afternoon. They informed me of the hourly cost which comparing to others sounded reasonable.

Evan Dobrowski arrived at my door at 4:30 pm with a smile and a handshake. He inspected the issue, explained to me what he thought the problem was, then immediately began to work on it. Within minutes my sewer line was clear and water was flowing to the city line! *sweet—we can take showers and use the toilet*. Evan dropped a camera down the pipe and showed me on a monitor that a tree root had caused the backup in the line-- which was pretty freaking cool to see. The snake that he used was able to push through the clog and shave back the root so that the line would be temporarily clear.

Evan explained to me what the long-term solution would be so that my wife and I could make a decision on how to approach it. The quick work and thorough explanation, in language I could understand, made me feel like I called the right folks.

As I mentioned, I don’t have very much plumbing knowledge and so like most, I put my complete trust in to those that I hire. Because I trust my neighbors, I trust those that they recommend, and I’m very happy with decision I made to call Armstrong Plumbing.

The folks at Armstrong Plumbing are AWESOME! We discovered a drainage problem early in the morning and they arrived to fix the problem within 1 1/2 hours. They were courteous any very knowledgeable. And the problem was fixed very quickly! Thank you Jason, Corlis and staff!

My first call on a Monday morning brought two plummers to my door ready to change out my 17 yr old leaky toilet before 9:00 am. They reviewed the job, put themselves in my shoes, and informed my of my choices. In the end, they completed the job in good time at a great price. When the need arises, I will call on Armstrong Plumbing again.

Armstrong replaced a part to my water heater that did not need to be replaced. They gave an incorrect estimate to my home warranty company and due to this they said the repair would not be covered. I have two young children we have not been able to take a shower or have hot water for over 1 week because of this mistake/ incorrect communication.

I contacted Armstrong Plumbing for a clogged bathroom sink. They sent out their first tech and they were not able to fix the problem. The service tech informed me they would be sending me their specialist Ramon. I was a bit disappointed nobody followed-up with me like I was told. I however, called early the following week and Ramon showed up the following day. He was very professional and did a fast and efficient job. In less than 1 hour the clogged bathroom room sink was fixed. The 5 stars are really for Ramon’s service.

Mike came out to hydrojet our line. He told us how he would want to do it but we told him, from experience, our way was the way it should be done. Instead of saying that it would cost more or that he had to call his office, like some of your competition would do, he agreed. He did a great job. He had an interest in the job and always had a smile, and this was in 100 degree heat. If we need your service again, I will ask for him.

Asked them to investigate a recurring problem with a sink drain that had come apart prior, causing water damage to my building. Their plumber came, met my tenant, tightened the pipe, and left, sending me a bill for their minimum visit fee of $165. I can and did tighten this pipe already, and didn't need to pay someone $165 to do so again. I was hoping to be advised of root cause, what I could do to prevent, what to replace, etc. I'm still in the same state as before, with a plumbing problem that's likely to recur. I deployed a bucket and will consult someone else.

I wrote a letter to complain and never received an answer. However, they did charge my credit card anyway.

A month prior, I called them for a clogged pipe at another property. The same plumber as above came. He did address the problem. However, I was very adamant that we be careful in the space, as it's where my blind cat lives, and we needed to be mindful of the door. After he finished, he left, and I discovered that he left the door open. My cat escaped, but came back, thankfully! I also noticed that he left my front door open, and I'm grateful that my other cat didn't make a run for it.

I never write bad reviews, but this is deserved. You have your choice of plumbers, and you want to do business with someone who is responsible, professional, and provides good service. I did not get that, and I have several properties to maintain. I will take my business elsewhere.

I will never use them again.

Jason from Armstrong arrived half an hour early and did an assessment of my newly installed Puronics water filtration system. He provided valuable information which I needed to determine if this system was actually the appropriate type as well as what are available as alternatives.. Furthermore he tested the hardness of the water from the well to make sure that I actually needed such a system. This unbiased assessment and diagnostics is a true mark of professionalism on par with the best in the trade.

Booking the appt for a plumber to come out to our home to assess our wobbly toilet and possible shower head leak was very quick and easy. The rep on the phone was super nice, and very accommodating with my schedule. The plumber who came out (I apologize, I don't recall his name) was very nice, he took the time to explain the potential problems and then the necessary fix. He offered solutions that we could do on our own to save money, and he also fixed the toilet problem, complete with pictures of what he saw and did. He explained things in a way that made sense, which is a big plus for someone like me who is very clueless about these types of things!! Overall, a great experience from start to end. We continue to call Armstrong Plumbing for any and all plumbing issues that arise, as we feel confident in their abilities, and we trust and value their professionalism and courteous nature.

Robert came to our home today to access our blockage in our main line. He was able to identify the issue and get a game plan for us right away. We are so impressed by the level of professionalism and quality of Robert’s work. Way to go Armstrong Plumbing. Jon W from Armstrong Plumbing showed up early and de-scaled my tankless water heater for a fair price. He showed me how to do it myself too. He also, for no charge, looked at my toilet (phantom flushing) and told me what the problem was and that it was an easy fix I could do myself. He was polite and put on shoe covers. Couldn’t ask for more.

He could have easily just installed a new disposal I had purchased on Angie's List from his company but he looked at the situation and informed me that he could salvage my current disposal with just replacing a part. I first noticed my shower pipes knocking a few yrs ago...a few plumbing companies said it would cost $2000 or more to tear out the tile and fix the problem. Finally, I found David from Armstrong Plumbing on Angie's List and fixed the problem for less than $100. That was about a year ago, and everything is still working fine. I was amazed and delighted to have found an honest company.

Recently, I heard some knocking of pipes when the auto sprinkler system shut off. The first Armstrong tech came out, checked...and said he'd like another technician to take a second look at no charge...David came out and checked the system...to detect the problem and offer the right solution. This is the type of company that will keep a customer coming back & back again.

I needed a toilet that was ADA due to knee issues, and Armstrong came to the rescue! Vinney, the Armstrong plumber, walked me through the process of getting a toilet that would fit under a counter extension, ordered it, set up the delivery and had it all ready to go and that happened in three working days. My late husband was a contractor so I knew Armstrong was not messing with me. I am 81 and appreciate this level of service so you can’t go wrong with them. If you need plumbing services use them you won’t be sorry.

The plumber whom came out was too lazy to check the leak in detail and simply eyeballed it. If that's what plumbers do these days, I should be practicing myself; I would make a fortune doing nothing.

I am very happy with the service Jason W. provided for us. He installed two garbage disposals which are working wonderfully, but most importantly, fixed the drainage problem in our guest bathroom sink. We had our mainline back up which resulted in flooding in both of our bathrooms. Cody came quickly on Sunday afternoon (within 45 minutes of my call). He was up front with pricing and gave us an option to wait until the next morning. We opted to take care of it right away. He cleared the clog quickly and recommended and explained some further clearing of our system (hydro clean out). He put us in touch with Mike from the remediation team to take care of the damage from the flooding. The remediation team was at our home Monday morning (Nick and Mike). They have been professional and reassuring every step of the way so far. We are in the process now of waiting for insurance authorization, but I feel confident that this will be resolved with the help of Armstrong and I’m very glad that I chose this company to work with.

Great service! I loved that they put on their little pink booties so my house stayed a bit cleaner! George was in & out in 30 minutes, and for the first time in weeks, I was able to have a shower that wasn't lukewarm. Team was very professional and knowledgeable about the issue. I was well informed on what was going on (I had tried to fix it myself earlier, so I understood the problem). It turns out it was not something I could have repaired myself, and that the team was able to get a new part ordered and hot water back to my tenant in a couple days. They even shared pictures with me of the burner unit and the problems. Anytime you call a plumber it will cost you some money, and it is tempting to cut corners as a landlord. The staff and crew at Armstrong are exceptional. We recently completed several jobs on a rental home. Replaced shutoff valves, jet wash and line inspection, as well as trenchless line replacement for a 2 inch drain line from the kitchen to the 4 inch drain. On Time and On Budget - George at Armstrong Plumbing did a great job for us. He replaced our service PRV which was malfunctioning and all three shower mixing valves because the hot and cold water in our house was mixing. He gave us an estimate last week (lowest bid of three contractors, but not overly low) arrived on time, did the work, was clean and respectful, and ended up charging the same price that was quoted. Armstrong Plumbing just completed a re-routing of the gas line in my house through the attic. This was during the abominable heat the first week of July. I was very pleased with the job they did. David was the service specialist and a very professional and knowledgeable person. The technician Mark and his assistant Mike arrived on time (6:00am or before) and worked hard and steady. They kept me informed of progress and always cleaned up any mess created. The job passed inspection and I have hot water and a stove again! Thank you Armstrong.

Mike C. and the apprentice he had with him, Danny, were fantastic! They were knowledgeable and displayed great communication skills. They described what they were going to do, what they found, and what needed to be done. I had a waste pipe that broke in the ceiling of the garage. Mike and Danny, together, were able to identify the leak quickly. They tested to see what water devices I could still use, took measurements, and Mike came back the next day to replace the broken joints.

Mike worked diligently. He was respectful of the billing time. In addition to his thorough work, I most appreciated him not trying to up-sale me. It is because of this approach that I will call Armstrong Pluming whenever I need plumbing services.

Sewage waste clogged a bathtub drain of an old rental unit. Bruce was prompt, courteous, and professional. His arrival time was within the two hour window specified for the appointment. I had previously attempted to remove debris from the side drain with a standard 25 foot snake but failed. Bruce brought out a 65 foot electric powered snake and was able to clear out the debris (a big, nasty hairball) easily and provided little tips on future maintenance of clogs.

Review regarding Jacob from Armstrong Plumbing. He was absolutely great. He came to assess our leaking water heater. Turns out that we have a direct vent type of water heater and required numerous phone calls before finding the appropriate replacement. He spent the time to track down a heater that was configured to work in our space. He spent over 8 hours to make it work, including building out a platform extension for the new water heater (which he did not anticipate and did not charge us additional cost). He was very personable, clear in his explanations, and was a pleasure to work with.

Quality of his work was superb. He paid attention to details. Afterwards he cleaned up the garage (his work area) so that it was cleaner than when he arrived.

Armstrong Plumbing recently removed the soaking tub in our master bathroom to make room for a washer and dryer. Peter and Joedy are top notch ethical and honest professionals! They completed the work quickly and with as little mess as possible. Everything from changing the plumbing, electrical outlets, and tiling were done extremely well. They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the remodel. We will not use anyone but Armstrong Plumbing in the future.

Leaky smelly disposal, quickly diagno a technician, Joe, who is very friendlprofessional, right on time, and even cleaned out our trap for us while he was here. Highly recommend Armstrong plumbing, which we have used many times and continue to be very happy with.

On late Christmas evening we had a gross plumbing issue. The back bathroom toilet got clogged and for some reason backed up into the two downstairs shower and toilets stopped flushing and also caused our laundry not to drain. Thankfully we have a bathroom on a different plumbing system. Armstrong came out the next morning and Greg T. assessed the situation and snaked the main line without complete success. He then came in and snaked the shower that wasn't draining and success. Plumbing has been working great throughout my home. Greg was absolutely amazing, thorough, and determined to get the job done. He kept me posted on what was going on as he worked. As difficult as it was his goal was to not see his customer (right after Christmas) get hit with a big plumbing bill. I was able to book an appointment online on a Saturday for Monday morning, which was super easy and convenient. My technician showed up within the window I was given and he was friendly, communicative, professional and clear with the effort and pricing. I'll definitely be using Armstrong again.

You can call them but they can't be bothered to hold up their end of a professional relationship. They were supposed to have their oncall associate call me, and they never did. Had I known they weren't going to come out (which how could I know since they didn't even have the courtesy of a call) I would've tried calling another company instead of waiting around on them. They wasted my time, were unprofessional, and left my family without water as a result.

Needed a shower valve replaced. Vince R. looked at problem, walked me through what needed to be done, and I decided to request that both shower valves be replaced since they were back2back. I was able to get the day I wanted for the work to be completed. They called ahead of time giving a ETA. They showed up on time and get right to work. Vince and Dylan worked very well together. The install was done as described with no problems. After the water was turned back on they cleared all of the faucets. Excellent clean up. Price was reasonable and the job was done right the first time. Thanks Vince and Dylan!!

Problems involving water where you don't want it can get serious quickly. I called Armstrong and they set up and appointment for the next day. I received a call back soon after saying that someone could be here in an hour. I gratefully accepted. Ramon arrived shortly and resolved my problem with clogged exterior drains (plural) in under 2 hours. Prior to starting he thoroughly explained the procedure and prior to leaving he cleaned up anything related to his job and even rolled up the hose which was used to test a drain and was not rolled up when he arrived. He did all this with a great attitude. If I need a plumber I now know who to call.

Easily 5 stars! When I called Armstrong Plumbing yesterday and explained that both my washing machine and dishwasher were backing up into my kitchen sink and that I had company coming for five days next week, they schedule an appointment for 7:00-9:00pm last night and added that the technician they were sending was fast and one of their best and that he might call me to ask about coming earlier. Bruce called just after 5:30 and arrived shortly afterwords. He listened to my description and set to work. I checked the backup from the dishwasher last night and the washing machine this morning. No problems. I would definitely recommend Armstrong Plumbing for any plumbing needs; professional employees and competitive rates.

Kenny was the gentleman to show up promptly after I called for a broken pipe.in my attic. Fixed and done in less than a half hour. I called Armstrong Plumbing because I suspected a leak behind the drywall in our front bathroom. Greg T. came out, and within a few minutes, discovered that the leak was actually coming from the rear bathroom lavatory shutoff valve that had not been tightened sufficiently. What impressed me even more than finding the problem, was Greg's meticulousness in checking for any other possible leaks. Greg was competent, professional, and courteous. The entire service call lasted less than an hour.

It’s really hard to review his work since he didn’t do anything and just charged us for visit $160. He didn’t have tools to cut thru our bathtub to get to plumbing. But I didn’t appreciate weird personal comments. Not very profesional. Will definitely call someone else to fix our problem.

The two men that showed up to take care of the problem were very courteous. They solved the problem in a couple of minutes. They were only here a short time so I didn't get to know them.

We decided to hire Armstrong Plumbing after looking through the great reviews on Angie's List. I called an set up an appointment which was scheduled for the same day at a convenient time 2 p.m to 5 p.m. I was told that if he could get there sooner someone would call. Peter called at 1:00 and said he was available. Peter arrived shortly thereafter and once he determined what the problem was, we reviewed the price list and he went straight to work. The pricing was reasonable, I did not in anyway feel over sold nor pressured to get any extra services. Peter was friendly and provided great service! I will definitely hire them again for any plumbing needs.

I've used Armstrong plumbing a handful of times over the years for everything from hot water tank installation to re-sleaving pipes to unclogging drains. They always get it done right the first time.

There is no way to overstate our satisfaction with Armstrong Plumbing, and especially with Peter Chappel's work and customer skills. We are doing an extensive home renovation that includes the kitchen and guest bath. We had originally contacted Armstrong Plumbing as one of three competitive bids. Peter did the initial review and estimate, and actually offered a helpful suggestion regarding the guest bath shower head height…and this was before we had chosen Armstrong to do the work!!! This was something that we never would have thought about, and became the deciding factor in choosing Armstrong.

In the interim, our primary contractor suggested a different plumber who would do the work at a lower cost, so we informed the three bidders as such. As renovation progressed, our contractor's plumber didn't work out, so we needed to find a plumber on short notice, as guest bath prep work needed to be completed before wall tile could be installed. We called Armstrong Plumbing, notifying them of our situation and immediate need. They politely, and quickly, scheduled Peter (at our request) to return. He arrived a day later to install the bath shower valve, raised the shower head outlet, and installed new drain cap in the tub. He was astute enough to discover that the shower valve was damaged, so we arranged for a replacement; he returned later that afternoon to complete that installation.

Once the counter tops and wall tile were installed, we again requested Peter for the kitchen/bath completion. He arrived two days later, at the end of a long day for him, and promptly completed the necessary work, including his discovery that one of the bath sink faucets was leaking (yet another defective part!).

Throughout his work, we became better acquainted with Peter personally; he is very personable, humble, and his professionalism and work ethic are world class. We couldn't be happier with Peter, his work, and with Armstrong Plumbing. We're planning a master bedroom/bath suite renovation next year, and we will definitely call Armstrong…and absolutely request Peter.

Tech was on time, diagnosed the problem and took care of it in a short time. He had all the parts and equipment with him that he needed to do the work. He advised me upfront of the cost. I would definitely call Armstrong again!

Alex, the technician, came as scheduled and replaced the supply line and valve. He also replaced the toilet with a new low flow one. Both Alex and Mike (?) were professional and courteous. They were quick and left the work area clean. We had a slight leak and Alex came back and fixed it the same day. This is the second time we have used this company. We are quite pleased with the service and would recommend them to anyone who needs plumbing repairs.

Incredibly stressful experience. I had a faucet above the bathtub that needed repairing and in addition asked for a quote to replace the tub. The technician Vince was nice, he ordered the parts for the faucet and sent me a quote for a bath replacement which came at almost 10K. The bathtub itself was just a little above 2K and labor over 7K. I thought it was a tad excessive but nevertheless I did not want to believe that just because I am a female and a foreigner that someone would do price gouging thus I have asked for a second quote with a different tub. That quote never came. Change of tactics, asked to purchase the parts for the faucet from them so I could hire a different plumber, ironically every time I called Scott the manager is always out of the office (I wish I had his job : ) it seems that everyone I was attempting to reach is always at home. I am laughing at this experience as I was able to order the parts myself, tell the wholesale company that recommended Armstrong to me about my horrid experience and tell everyone I know just how unprofessional, price gouging and exploiting this company is. It made me want to become a plumber. The conclusion is that it's never about the mistakes companies make but rather the client not being heard. All it would have taken for them was to call and say we do not want to sell you the part or do business with you and this review would have never been written and my time would have been spared.

Scheduled a estimate for a new electric water heater for Friday April 27th. Bruce was on time and was informative and presented my options where previous companies did not. I didnt get the sense that this company is in business just to make money or the quick buck. He stated he would do the estimate Monday morning (4/30) and email it to me. 5/1 i still haven't received my estimate which is unfortunate. I now feel like I wasted my time with the appointment Probably have to call and request my estimate. If they have to come back out I'll cancel.

Armstrong help the strategize keeping the price down for a major repair on my bidet and my shower. And they displayed commendable sensitivity about my health situation and doing the work. I have severely compromised immune system, leukemia. They help me maintain the maximum amount prophylactic intervention between themselves and sources infection and myself is one potentially subject to extreme outcomes from minor infections caused by diseases that most people carry but never get sick from by which they convey to people with leukemia without knowing it. They are smart, up-to-date, compassionate 21st century tradesmen.

All around they did an excellent job. From the first call I made to them to the completed job, everyone was courteous, fair and gave me exceptional service. The plumber was punctual, personable and answered all of my questions.

My service line into the house sprung a leak, so I called them this morning. Their technician Carlos arrived on time, was very professional, and explained exactly what he was going to do. After a bit of digging, he found the leak and installed a patch.

We called Armstrong to help us complete a project. Our garage is being converted into an apartment and after 80% of the work was done we had to part ways with our original contractor. I tried my best to describe the job the dispatcher at Armstrong and although I think I didn’t get it quite right, she was very patient and professional with me. She repeated all the info back to make sure she got details right which I appreciated. The tech Cody came out the next day within the time frame given. He actually arrived earlier than I thought he would for a 4 hour window so I was happy with that as well. He was also very professional while speaking with us. He even offered to put on shoe covers in the space which is a great touch bc I have had to personally tell others to do this and it drives me crazy. Anyway, we gave him the run down of the job and he got right to work with solutions and where to start. He was knowledgeable and communicative and HONEST about costs which is where we ran into issues in the past. He will be coming back after we get some materials but so far, he has shined a good light on himself and Armstrong as a company and I would recommend.

Our technician, Jorge, was very professional and courteous. He and his assistant were very careful in bringing the it equipment into the house and keeping things tidy. He was also very thorough in letting us know what he found while diagnosing our sewer line clog. He was able to locate the location of the clog and clear it, which required removal of a toilet. After clearing the issue, the guys cleaned up the area and tested things thoroughly to make sure we were good. They also used their camera to verify the other parts of the sewer lines were ok. He did find an unrelated potential issue that we will discuss with the County. If we are in fact responsible for addressing, we will definitely consider having Armstrong do the work.

Their work was a marked difference from another company that we called initially. That company used a camera too but didn’t even view the section where the clog was! Instead they pointed out another section of pipe that they claimed needed serious repair. They then proceeded to provide a quote for a $36K repair job, which did NOT include fixing the clog! No thanks guys. So glad we then went with Armstrong.

Armstrong replaced my sewer line to the street a short time ago. They completed the job on time and my yard looks good as new. The trenchless technology was the way to go. I now have a plumber I can trust because they do what they say they will, all with a smile.

Pete was extremely quick to arrive on a Saturday to repair a leak under my kitchen sink that was destroying my laminate floors! The only reason this isn't five stars is that I want to be sure the recent repair holds, and that the further repairs I have scheduled for next week work out. But I want to give kudos to this company, because a few months ago, we had an emergency plumbing problem, and the company we paid IN ADVANCE for first-in-line service said they couldn't come for days (not the first time it had happened). My husband tried Armstrong, and the man who answered talked him through some steps that solved the problem (a clog in the kitchen sink). At no charge. Stay tuned for an update!

Another update: Armstrong has come for numerous other jobs since I first posted this, including some very difficult shower repairs. Now, I am able to add that extra star. They are simply the best!

And now we add a bathroom sink repair. Every Armstrong plumber who has worked here has been honest, friendly, very capable, explained things, and gone an extra mile or three when problems arose (because with older houses and older plumbing, that happens sometimes). And the most recent one was even nice to my mischievous pest of a kitten.

I couldn't be more pleased with my experience with Armstrong plumbing today. Forest called me to let me know he was on his way, . He and his apprentice showed up on time, and despite the cramped space under my sink, got the job done in record time. He even took time to switch the hot and cold water which of been hooked up incorrectly by a previous plumber. Strongly recommend, and will call them back if I ever need a plumber again, which I'm sure I will given that my house is almost 70 years old.

I called Armstrong to change a leaking cartridge in my kitchen faucet. After several tries and some time, the tech informed me that the cartridge was forever stuck. Fair enough. He DID try. That's not my complaint. I was charged the full price for a failed attempt. Some money would have been fair, just not the full price. I was left with a leaking faucet. So I bought a new faucet and I will have it installed by another plumbing company; who as it turns out, charges less (much less) per hour.

Jon arrived on time and got straight to business. Knocked out a stubborn clog in less than 30 mins. I had a competitor come in yesterday, he spent over an hour on the clog, couldn’t get it unplugged and then tried to up sell me on a $1800 hydro flush. Calling Armstrong first thing and getting Jon on the job made my day.

I was very happy with Armstrong Plumbing!! Woke up to my toilet leaking all over my bathroom on a Saturday. I called a ton of plumbers but either I had to leave a message or they were booked until Wednesday. At about 3pm I was freaking out I hadn't heard back from anyone and there is only one toilet in my house so I needed someone pronto. I called Armstrong plumbing and they said they could come in 30min!!! Mike M came to my rescue and even fixed a few other problems I had with my toilet and faucet while he was here. He was super nice, fast, and did quality work. He was even concerned that one of my cats might have gotten out of the house (it didn't but it was awesome that he cared). I give Armstrong a mixed review. The team that came to the house were punctual and respectful although they did not call me before arriving at my house, which I was told they would do.
I had requested in advance when making the appointment that they bring a micro camera for a 2 inch bathroom sink drain to look for an object in the line. I was told by phone they had such a camera for a 2 inch pipe and also an extraction device used to remove objects. I was not told in advance that putting the camera in the line would cost $275 (even though it was in the line for less than 5 minutes). Also the team said they did not have an extraction device for 2 inch pipes and therefore could not remove the object. So the issue was not resolved as the object remained in the pipe.
It never mind paying for excellent service but I would recommend that Armstrong be more transparent on the cost of using a camera at the time of the phone appointment, and also inform the staff that make phone appointments that they do not have an extraction device for 2 inch pipes.

Quickly resolved drain back-up & was courteous throughout the process. Will recommend Armstrong to everyone I know!

Called Armstrong Plumbing to have them come out and check a leak that we had discovered coming from a pipe on top of the waterheater. They came early, checked out our leaking pipe. Gave us two options went for the new water heater. Ours was at the end of it's life! They did a fantastic job. I would certainly recommend Armstrong Plumbing.

We hired Armstrong and in fact we have hired the many many times over the years and this last experience is a great example of why. They had taken out our toilet so that we could do a floor repair and when they came back to install the toilet the floor people hadn't done it completely even and so when they were tightening the toilet down it cracked and without question they literally left our house went and bought the exact same toilet and installed it. They were so crying about the whole thing and in fact they even waved the service fee. This is a company who has integrity and who really fulfills their outward promise and we will never use another plumbing company ever.

Came to fix the water heater, but was working at the time. Explained that it turned off periodically, but since it was working he didn't want to just throw parts at it. So nothing can be done until it fails. At least he didn't charge me for the 4 minute visit.

The home depot delivery people wouldn't touch it (you think that if you pay for installation that they'd be able to do the installation). Greg T. Installed new sink faucets in my two bathrooms. One of my countertops is very thick and would not accommodate one of the faucets I bought, so I had to return and exchange that one for a faucet that would work. Armstrong was very flexible in rescheduling the install early the following morning. Greg was on time, did a very good job, and cleaned the work area prior to leaving.

This was the second time I needed to call Armstrong plumbing to help me with repairing a leak underground. They were extremely responsive and stood by their work on both occasions. Timely, responsive and competent.

I've used Armstrong Plumbing several times over the years and have always been pleased with their service. Last week was no exception. Justin came at the appointed hour to inspect the plumbing under our house. Together, we worked to test all the faucets, toilets, and tub/showers. Justin reported that a length of 4 sewer waste line had corroded and was leaking. He presented a thorough inspection report and prepared an estimate to complete the necessary repairs. We reviewed the estimate and scheduled the repairs for last Friday. Justin and his apprentice appeared on time and went to work, completing the repairs in accordance with the estimate. They presented the corroded section of pipe to show the extent of the damage. At all times, Justin and his apprentice were friendly, courteous, and thoroughly professional. Armstrong came through again!

Great company with great people, from the first contact, to the service technician, and follow up contact. Called first thing on a Monday morning with rusted broken off pipes in the wall and was able to schedule a service technician to come out before noon. Forrest D. (service technician) arrived on time and was professional, courteous, and down to earth; he quickly assessed the problem, suggested a few options, and soon made quick work of the broken off pipes with only needing to remove a very small section of 90+ year old stubborn wall tiles.

I had had an excellent experience with Armstrong Plumbing some time ago for other needs, so when I received a water leak alert from the city I immediately called them. The location of the leak was not visible or obvious, so there would have to be some detective work involved. Cody and Donny arrived on time as scheduled, were respectful and pleasant, and most importantly were able to figure out where the leak was and how to stop it. That last part took some extra problem-solving skills, as our first few guesses as to what was leaking turned out to be incorrect. But they stuck with it and consulted with others at Armstrong as needed and this resulted in success!! I appreciated their hard work and persistence in the face of such a frustrating puzzle. I would not hesitate to call Armstrong for any plumbing need.

The water heater was installed and so far it is working. Removing the door to fit the new water heater was done well. There were a couple issues though. The crawl space was left open outside and the screen door does not fit properly. The screen door sticks and is difficult to shut.

Laird arrived on time, inspected everything and gave me choices as to the extent of repairs to be done. The work agreed upon was done as fast as possible and my kitchen was clean and everything works again. The price was very reasonable and I will use Armstrong Plumbing in the future.

Our second experience with Armstrong Plumbing. First time was changing drain pipes in the kitchen under the foundation, then trenchless replacement of sewage line from house to street. Both time we received fair quotes and the work was completed as promised. Michael D led the second two man team, and they were great. Staying late to get the job done in one day as scheduled. They also sent someone back, as promised, to pick up a huge block of old cement they had dug up. Armstrong will continue to be my plumbing company of choice. Honest good work!

We had a clogged drain in our older house on a Saturday morning. I called at just after 9 AM. The woman that answered the phone was polite and helpful, and gave us two service windows for later that day. I chose one from 11AM-2PM. She told us that the plumber would call before coming over. Mike M. called at 1:30 or so and said he'd be there in 10 minutes. When he arrived, he was also very personable, polite and helpful, answered all our questions, had our drain cleared quickly and efficiently, and even added a quick-release cap to our drain cleanout at no extra charge. All told, our experience with Armstrong was pleasant, professional, and reasonably priced, especially on a weekend. Highly recommended!

Forest was very knowledgeable and professional. He repaired a leaky turn-on valve under my kitchen sink and installed new toilet tank components in my master bath toilet. He also snaked this toilet for an obstruction in the pipe. I call Armstrong Plumbing for all my plumbing repairs. I trust this company completely.

Toilet was clogged and Jorge found that the blockage was in the main line. He removed the clog and ran a camera to confirm the problem was solved. He was very thorough and easy to work with. The company was also very responsive and came out that same day.

Since I my neighborhood is on well water and I am just 2 doors down from the well, I get sand trapped in my Delta cartridge, restricting water flow in my shower. Bruce came out and fixed the problem in minutes. Now I can take a shower and wash my hair and actually get the soap rinced off.

Our old cast iron piping had finally given up under the original 1948 bath. It turned out to be a bigger job than the simple hair clog we had grown use to with three teenaged girls sharing one bathroom. Hopefully the cracking pipe was the reason for the hair clogs altogether. Not holding my breath. Corey was professional and he did the job as it was needed. Glad he was our plumber for this job.

Our home required a total repipe due to pin hole leaks. We needed copper and not PEX due to an ongoing rodent problem. Armstrong plumbing did an amazing job from estimate to completion of the work. We highly recommend Armstrong plumbing. We had a blockage in our main line that caused a horrible backup into our toilets and bathtub. Armstrong came to the rescue! They came out and did a video of our line, diagnosed the issue and got to work. The technician was very professional and had wonderful Customer service. You can tell this is a company with integrity!

Woke up Saturday morning to flooded kitchen floor and hallway outside bathroom. Contacted landlord, who contacted Armstrong Plumbing. Michelle called me within 30 minutes of my initial call, scheduled a plumber for between 11am - 1pm. Mike B. called early to say he was on his way. He was fantastic! Figured out the water heater was shot, so had to go get a new one. Also knew he had another scheduled job, so told us what he was doing and when he would be back.
He came back in late afternoon, stayed and got the job done; it wass not an easy job, as space is quite constrained, but he was persistent even as he ran into obstacles, and probably put in an unusually late evening of work to get it done. He kept his cool and was very professional in tough circumstances! A great guy who dealt very well with a tough situation, and got us back on track much sooner than might have been expected!

Called them regarding a clogged toilet at my business. They were prompt and replace the toilet ring. Called again because it repeated the same symptoms. They were fast on the return. They suggested the typed of toilet we needed to install without trying to upsale. He was correct with the type of toilet, we have not experienced any other problems.

If you want to pay 4 times journeyman plumber union rates, use them.
If you want to be insulted when they don't provide a due credit for work that their tech thought needed to be done when the quote was given but ultimately was not needed, use them.
If you want to be lied to that they tried to contact you but have no call history or voicemail or e-mail, use them.
If you want to deal with a company that refuses to supply backup to their claim that work was not in their estimate even though the tech and you know it should have been, use them.
If you want to be strong-armed for withholding a portion of the payment in an attempt to resolve the dispute, use them. Maybe that's where their name comes from...
And for god's sake do NOT sign their contract, write your own if all of that still makes you want to use them.

Kenneth B. was very friendly, courteous and professional. Good job Kenny. However, presenting a bill based on the more expensive estimated cost rather than the less expensive actual cost of labor plus materials was deceitful at best and possibly fraudulent. If that's the company policy it should be reported to authorities for prosecution.

Forest from Armstrong Plumbing went above & beyond to find the right faucet that fit the dimensions for my kitchen sink! He was friendly & professional as he installed installed it, & looked for other possible leaks.
A previous plumber ordered a faucet for me without looking at the space & when it didn't fit he wanted me to pay the restocking fees. Forest made all the needed measurements & took time to actually find the faucet at a very reasonable price!! I will use Forest & Armstrong for my next plumbing job!!

The technician gave us wrong information about our sewer line. He indicated that it extends to the street, whereas we learned that in fact it stops about halfway there. The actual replacement job will be only half of what the Armstrong technician said it would be--about $6000. difference in cost.

Called Armstrong Plumbing for a water heater estimate, after ours failed and leaked. Showed up as scheduled, they had the best bid, they also were able to get the oversized heater installed, before anyone else could even get the heater delivered, (that's important when you have no hot water : ) Permits, code upgrades, all included. Will gladly recommend Armstrong Plumbing, and all of their staff!

Best plumbers ever! Honest, on time, low cost- who could ask for more! Very professional and they were friendly too! I would use them again!

They charged $182 for first 30 minutes visit and it was not disclosed beforehand . Technician was no clue about diagnosis and just read the error code and told gas pressure is less. PG&E technician visited later and confirmed gas pressure is normal. No diagnosis, no solution was provided and charged $182. Don’t recommend them to anyone.

Bruce was the plumber that came to our home. Bruce was running early and called me to ask if that was okay. When he arrived we had 4 separate plumbing problems and he managed to blaze through the first three fixing them all within an hour. The entire time he was courteous, and kept me informed of what was going on. The fourth problem had to do with a broken pond auto-fill mechanism. He did not have the parts to repair that but he gave me a suggestion on how I might be able to jerry-rig a a repair myself. His idea worked! I will use Armstrong again and hope I get a chance to work with Bruce again.

Cody was courteous and very helpful. He figured out how to fix my master shower and did it for less than he originally thought it would cost, which was very much appreciated by this senior.

Mauricio was on time, courteous and professional. Mauricio more than met any and all of my concerns relative to the repairs he was doing on my 1950’s plumbing. Mauricio even responded to a couple of late night messages I sent him regarding my repairs. Any fix to the plumbing of a 1950’s home is daunting to the best plumbers and Mauricio met the challenge and worked diligently to tackle the repair.

I had the guys come out to an elderly lady's home and repair the broken sewer line. They worked with my schedule, they were asked not to speak to the elderly woman because the stress would be too much for her. They were so great about sticking to the guidelines we had set for them. The cost was affordable. They gave a bid for the work needed; not a lot of work that was not necessary. They are honest, dependable, and hard working. What more are you looking for.

Mark called me and said he was on the way, arrived on time and introduced himself in a nice professional manner. He got to work right away to fix my hot water heater. He tested it out and found the problem. It was a complicated fix, but Mark figured it out and fixed it perfectly. He had the part that I needed, so I didn't have to get a hold of the company to have them send it. He took care of everything. He also put in a brand new bathroom facet for me and made sure that everything was to perfection and cleaned up any mess that he made. Mark was professional, great to talk to and explained everything that he was doing and any questions I had, he answered. He was honest and fair and Armstrong is lucky to have such a great employee. I will continue to use Armstrong Plumbing when needed as long as there are employees like Mark. Thank You Mark for all that you did for me, I do appreciate it.

Kenny was outstanding. We had an unfortunate break in a water line and our home warranty company gave us the run around for 4 hours and ultimately said they could not help us. We called Armstrong plumbing at 9PM and Kenny was at our door within an hour, fixed the broken line in 45 minutes and did a great job. Would highly recommend Kenny and Armstrong plumbing.

We had some clogged drains. Corey M. Came out to do the job. He called prior to coming to insure he understood the scope of the job and had the right tools. He was honest in making sure he did the correct service vs charging for the most expensive one. I don’t know the prices for plumbing issues so I’m not sure if it was a good value. Other plus was the booking process was quick and easy.

Armstrong was able to have a technician out to our house under an hour after we called for our non-emergency issue. Bruce R. was friendly, professional, and creative, allowing him to find a good solution for our unusual situation with our fridge water line. They secured our two sinks, one of which needed to be ada, the other did not, so the repair was different for each. He was very careful not to ruin anything and was able to think outside the box to make each work great!! We were very happy with the repairs, both high quality and for a reasonable price.

I wanted to give a good review but I just can't. I paid for parts and labor that didn't solve the water heater issue. After tens days of no hot water and the prospect of more days without hot water I replaced the water heater myself. Armstrong really tried to fix it. They just don't have the expertise nor the integrity to refund repair cost when they can't fix the problem.

I found Armstrong plumbing online and called them to replace the grout around the tile on my bath tub. Joe came and looked at the tub as I explained that we had done the grouting twice already in the last year and a half. He told me the reason why it was a problem and said he could do it but it would keep being a problem if I didn't fix the way the tile was put on. He suggested I get the tile fixed by another company and have it done right. He did not charge me and I appreciate his honesty! I will be calling them back for any plumbing I need in the future! Ramon is awesome! He and his assistant were courteous, professional and right on time. This is the second time we’ve used Armstrong Plumbing and they are head and shoulders above plumbers I’ve had in the past.

I was so thrilled when they called me to say there was a cancellelation and could be at my house in 15 minutes instead of the 12 to 4pm window. Either way it was great to have a same day visit from one phone call at 10am. As suspected we had a bad thermocouple a common issue. Vince was so great in explaining in detail why they go bad and how he could repair it relatively quickly. After labor and parts and about an hours time our fee was 360.00 I was grateful for the quick and efficient service. If you'er looking to have a drain cleaned there okay. I had them do a re-pipe on my house in Arden manor. 2 failed inspections, on the third is finally passed) and 2 weeks after they said they would have it complete the hack job is finished.

Jacob came out to fix my water heater. I ended up asking him about 3 other jobs in my house. He fixed 2 of my faucets that same day and gave me estimate to fix my diverter valve in my shower. When he returned, he and a helper were able to replace the old valve and pipes with a new ones without damaging the tile (circa 1942) AND install my new water heater all in one day.

Our house is 65 years old and the original galvanized pipes needed to be replaced with copper and pex. Suresh was the lead plumber who spent a lot of time under our house removing the old pipes and installing the new ones. He was very efficient. He was ably assisted by Mo and Joe. All three of them answered our many questions helping us understand the process and keeping us up to date on their progress. They took pictures so we could see what they had done. We always knew when we would be without water or gas (they also installed a new water heater.) One worry we had was the possibility that they would have to open the walls to do some of the work but Suresh
had an alternative way to install the new pipes without opening the walls. The work was done during one of this winter's storms and there was some water under the house but Armstrong sent someone with a pump so that the work went on.
We are happy with the work of Suresh, Mo, and Joe.

Corey fixed a slow kitchen sink drain effectively and efficiently. Perfect. The first appointment was rescheduled (I was informed at 11:30 that the appointment for between 8-12 was being cancelled) but they showed up within the target time on the reschedule and did the job at a fair price, and at the price I was expecting.

Very clear about what needs to be done to accomplish the task I described without adding unnecessary stuff.

Arrived timely, fixed the problem and then when there was a complication promptly resolved the issue. Can't ask for much more than that.

We called these guys to come attempt to repair a pinhole sized leak on an existing underground 3/4 cast iron water line. The pipe was old and had previously been patched. The technician offered 2 remedies, the first a simple patch similar to the one already in place. The second option, to re trench and replace the entire water line for an estimated total of $6,000. We decided the patch would be sufficient and the technician agreed it should do the job....it did not. I received a call from the tech who was struggling to get the patch to work. He claimed he had tried everything to make it cooperate, but said the pipe was just too old for anything to work. He seemed to be asking me for the solution. I explained to him that the homeowner was without water to the home, and it was important that we restored service. He said he would attempt another solution involving cutting in PVC to which I deferred to his expertise My brother showed up to the job to check on the situation and found the tech in the truck. He said the reason his PVC fix had failed initially was because the glue wasn't dried when he supplied water. He was confident that he had fixed it this time, sent the invoice, and headed home. An hour later we received a call from the homeowner saying the PVC tee that the tech had installed had indeed failed and separated from the PVC pipe he had glued inside. I hung up with the homeowner and called the Armstrong phone number and spoke with the employee on the other end of the phone. This employee informed me that he didn't think it was right that he would go out there, as he was not the one who caused this failure. Typically a service call is indeed repairing someone else's failure.....He also expressed that if the first guy wasn't able to fix it, he most definitely wasn't going to be able to handle the job. (this is all happening around 6 pm on a Friday). I quite bluntly told this service tech that I don't have the confidence to trust Armstrong Plumbing to unclog a toilet, let alone fix the problem they had created. I hung up with them and called another plumbing company. 5 Star plumbing came out, and without issue stopped the leak, cleaned up the previous plumbers mess, and remedied the original problem with a fix that has been without issue. If you need a plumber, call 5 Star. If you need a $6000 estimate from someone who can't fix a pinhole leak, call Armstrong.

We've used Armstrong for all our plumbing needs over the years. This time we needed help fast--our garbage disposal was leaking--and Mauricio was there within an hour and had replaced it within two. He was fast and efficient; we were grateful for his professionalism and his plumbing skills.

I had a couple of minor fixes - a clogged air gap with my dishwasher and tightening a loose faucet. Peter showed up on time and repairs were done within 15 minutes. Eduardo & Fabian are awesome!! I have an old home and they treated it with care and respect. My hot water line busted (located outside) so I had to have it (and the cold line) replaced. Given the age of my home, I decided to replace the kitchen, laundry and bath pipes. Afterward, seeing the inside of the old galvanized pipe, I finished the process and had the city main to the house replaced. While I didn't plan on doing this much work, I am so glad I did. And the choice to have all of the extra work done, was initiated by me - not Armstrong. No sales tactics. No you're going to want to do.... Nothing like that. I wasn't sure what to expect but Eduardo & Fabian made it look easy with little invasion to my property. They took the time to listen and answer the several questions I had. The back office took care of the paperwork with the city. And a shout out to Peter - who got the ball rolling and was wonderful to work with. I am truly grateful for the professionalism of all their staff from the initial phone call to the finished product and for the quality of work done on my home. Great service - highly recommended!

I needed a second opinion from a plumbing company in good standing, so I chose Armstrong Plumbing. Jason Wigginton, Service Estimator, diagnosed my home's plumbing problem and his diagnosis was totaling different than the first plumbing company. Basically, the first plumbing company estimated a cost of $800 with a $300 discount for a pressure reducing valve replacement. I don't have a pressure reducing valve on my water main. Talk about fraud by the first company!!! If you want an honest plumbing expert I recommend Jason with Armstrong Plumbing. He was reliable and thorough and honest with his findings. He saved me a lot of money on unnecessary replacement parts and labor. Don't forget to always get a couple estimates before you hire a contractor. Make one of those estimates from Armstrong Plumbing.

Bruce cane out to teplace my valve on the gas log fireplace.
I was unable do turn the valve die to weakness from arthritis in my hands. PG& E apparently did not verify if the valve was stuck or not and recommended teplacement based on my observations so I called Armstrong. Bruce came out and callede as I was inable to be there when the tenant scheduled the appointment. Armstrong took my payment info over the phone and send Bruce.
When he arrivef he called me and advised the valve was ok in working condition.
I trust Armstrong to do whats right and based on this experience I trust them as a tesult of Bruces honesty and integrity. I will use Armstrong in the future for all future plumbing needs.

Jacob was the plumber who recently installed a water heater at our home. We used Armstrong Plumbing in the past for some previous work and our experience was very pleasant. Jacob, who was the person for both of these jobs, was both professional and friendly. He explained exactly what he was going to do and followed through. He answered all of my questions and seemed to be well informed on all aspects of his job. I would not hesitate to use Armstrong Plumbing for any future work and would request the services of Jacob. The plumber worked hard to fix the leak but the repair didn’t hold and about an hour later our backyard was flooded and a scheduled concrete pour had to be rescheduled

To position a recently purchased gas stove flush with the wall it backs up to, we need a new space cut out so that our existing gas line & gas appliance connector can be repositioned. This change also requires that the gas line in our basement supplying the stove be repositioned where it passes through the subfloor. Mauricio explained that he had undertaken many similar modifications & very clearly described the procedures involved. When he checked the basement section of gas pipe to the stove, he pointed out a fitting that no longer meets code & explained how he would remove it & provide a readily accessible on/off valve for the stove’s gas supply. He also patiently answered several questions. Mauricio is a total pro—extremely knowledgeable, courteous, patient & good humored! 👏👏

Armstrong plumbing came to my home shortly after I called regarding a water leaks outside my home. Kyle Answered my call with Cody both showing up and accessing the situation and how to approach the repairs. Prepared invoices on cost of repairs and how many hours it would take to repair the leak. The water was turned off. As we turned the water main shutoff water was coming out of the broken water pipe. They used new coppers parts and PVC for under ground repairs .
Cody and Issac did an amazing job. Checking to make sure pipes has no water leaks and giving pipe 24 hours monitor before closing the hole with dirts. I’m very happy with the results and will recommend them to anyone who needs plumbing services.
