I've hired Carpenter Joe several times to perform a variety of projects at my home. Joe is friendly, dependable, organized and does a great job. His rates are very reasonable as well. He analyzes the job, explains what needs to be done then does the repair in an efficient and professional manner. I highly recommend Carpenter Joe for any carpentry work that needs to be done.

I requested repair of squeaking subfloor. I received some placement of wood screws and a statement of any further work could not be guaranteed to stop the squeaking. I paid a hour and 40 minutes of labor with 40 minutes being just talk. Total waste of time and money.

Joe has done multiple jobs for me.
He retiled my kitchen with hexagonal
Tiles and layers the boards below as well durning that job he also textured my kitchen walls and callings, installed
Baseboards and patched holes in the
Wall. Prior to that he removed a outdated lathe and plaster vent hood
Attached to my celling and patched
And re finished the hole in the celling
That the removal left .Both Amazing
Jobs of the highest quality . He was

Work was 5 star and he always cleaned up after wards … After those jobs I had him out to paint the kitchen and help place a stainless steel cabinet in the kitchen again he did a
Very good job …. I am looking forward to having him back to my
House to do some texturing and

After buying some bathroom ceiling fans that I thought I was DIY enough to install, I realized it would be more of a job than I was prepared for, and I reached out to Joe. He called me back and explained what to expect regarding his rates and the job. He was open and clear about everything, sent me a written estimate by email, and scheduled a time to do the work a few days later. He arrived on time and removed the small, loud, poor running fans. While doing so confirmed my hunch that this was more than my DIY tools and skills were up for. He then installed the new fans, for which my sanity and eardrums have been thankful.

I have hired Joe for several home maintenance and repair needs. Replacing/installing doors, moving of a door, and door handles/deadbolt replacement, drywall and painting, removal and fixing dryrot. Joe is very knowledgeable, his work is professional at a reasonable price.
