Best Thermostat Installation in Reno NV

The staff at Paul’s Heating and are are very professional and helpful.
The work was estimated to be complete in 2 hours and they were done in less than 2.
The temperature in the house was instant and both upstairs and down stairs were very comfortable almost instantly.
I’ll be using Paul’s for all of my AC and Heating needs in the future.

I wish I had more stars to give Wiley's. I am so thankful for Wiley's and their customer service - I WAS a customer of Sierra Air, do not use them! Sierra Air came out to do yearly service, I was on their preferred service program. Technician that came, did not seem confident in what he was doing, spent time in attic and finally came down and said we have a problem, discovered the heat exchanger unit had cracks, corrosion and stress and there were traces of carbon monoxide through-out my house. Mind you, I hire a company to be able to trust them. The technician could not answer my questions, just asked if I had space heaters, I said no, and he basically had nothing to say, I called his manager, he started asking my questions like, am I experiencing headaches etc. Also, I have detectors in my house none of them have gone off. So you could imagine how I was feeling at this point. They said they would send out a new tech which turned out to be from their design department. Turned out the first technicians tools he was using was faulty and was not working properly. At the end of the day, this guy had me talked into a sale of 7K, and pretty much worked off my emotions and fear.

Luckily, I spoke with a friend, referred me to Wiley's and I got a second opinion right away, Mike with Wiley's came out right away, he was very knowledgeable, eased my mind and made me feel comfortable that I was safe. He went through my house checking for monoxide, no detection. He said I do not need to replace my heater, that my heater was working fine, there was no detection of carbon monoxide and when I do need to replace it, it would be around 4000, not 7000. I asked him if he thought I should have them service the unit just in case Sierra Air didn't do it right, he said he was not comfortable charging me for a service I did not need. He went further on to explain how the monoxide detectors work, what to do if one did go off and that if I needed anything to please reach out to him. When I asked a question, he knew the answer. I also have a friend that works at a plumbing company here in town and also said Wiley's is fantastic.

If you want someone you can trust and a company that is honest and doesn't work off commission, reach out to Wiley's they are the best and looks out for your safety and best interest

They did a good job, were great about explaining the new system and answering all our questions (both when giving the estimate and during installation) and the AC works well. And I love the new smart thermostat - very easy to use with lots of options. A couple odd things:
1. As is normal these days, we had to wait 6 weeks for the A/C unit to arrive (we didn't want just a standard AC). Gibson was supposed to schedule the appointment after the unit arrived, but instead they just showed up one morning. I was out of town but my luckily my housemate was home and able to stay home for the 2 days before I got back.
2. I had wanted the return air duct enlarged and wanted to use a larger static filter after another company had taken static pressure readings to find that it's insufficiently sized especially for the later static filter. I can't recall the exact conversation, but oddly Gibson wouldn't do that work. Also, it seems taking the static pressure readings would be a normal part of working on my 30 year old system but they didn't do that.

Those things certainly aren't show stoppers. I'd recommend Gibson to friends.

We had the estimate on Wednesday. They had a new ac unit and furnace in and working on Monday. Every HVAC company told us the are 3 weeks out. Jim and Marco were fantastic. At one point we had 5 company trucks in our driveway. Everything from the estimate from Eric to the completion was teamwork. Also a great price! Can’t recommend them enough.Bill and Tamara

I had an issue with my Bryant gas furnace. It wasn’t blowing hot air and would continuously run the fan. Miles from Nevada Heating was able to diagnose the root cause as the circuit board and resolve it. I was happy with the service and pricing, so I’d recommend to others!
