Very accommodating in terms of arrival times and work schedules. Worked with us on placing the AC unit so as to minimize overlap on the walkway. They answered all our questions and were very courteous throughout the two days of the project.

Asked for a bid to relocate business equiptment ventilation over 2 months ago. still do not have it. we keep getting the run around and no responses.
Team showed up early and hit the ground running. No wasted time. They were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and polite. Except for the new HVAC system, couldn't tell they were even there. Not a spec of trash left behind. Couldn't ask for better. Thanks!
From first handshake to work completed, this company performed as promised; everything was done as promised, as scheduled, with a high degree of professionalism..... all involved were great with our dogs and cats ...., in fact, they were instrumental in landing the job; they all took to James immediately when he came out to do the estimate.... they didn’t act the same way with the others....!!! RHP is an amazing company, we purchased our new HVAC system thru Costco. I had only seen the RHP trucks around town before this purchase. Let me say from the time of purchase to the end result every RHP employee was friendly, courteous, professional hard working. My salesman Adam was knowledgeable and easy to work with very trustworthy helped a lot in decision making process.
Brandon & Adam were simply the best they went out of their way, many times throughout the installation they checked with me made sure I was happy and understood what was taking place two awesome people.
It was like having a couple friends over.
The supervisor Jeff called me within minutes when I had a question wow wow wow
I worked in retail over 43yrs had dealings with many companies as the manager, this was a large corporation I trained thousands of employees,.
I only wish I had four employees like these RHP employees.

RHP recently replaced our air conditioner with a 2 stage pump and replaced our old furnace with a much more energy efficient one. We purchased through the Costco program and couldn't be happier. RHP did an outstanding job and their crew was very professional. Cameron was a pleasure to work with and responded quickly to any questions or concerns. RHP will be our vendor of choice for any further HVAC needs.
I had five bids to replace a 48 year old furnace and AC unit, spending a full day with the respective sales people. RHP was not only the lowest bid but were able to start the job the next day! Our furnace was not operational and it was cold, so getting it fixed quickly was very much appreciated. The service was outstanding and completed in just a day and a half. Brandon, Kirk and Kenny were a good team and obviously knew what they were doing. They gave honest thoughtful answers and went the extra mile to complete all of the little details. Brandon said that they do the job the way they would do it for themselves and I really believe that. We also changed out the Wi-Fi thermostats that NV Energy had installed with a Honeywell product which is demonstrably better! They have an excellent long term reputation for a reason which is why I called them first.
2021 - I have an update on this business. First they resolved the issue reported in 2020. And since then they have been great. They respond to my calls and questions, and have saved us from a hot horrible summer!
2020 - Called for service exchanged txtd photos and information with a tech, and was quoted a price to check the warehouse for the part. Agreed to pay. The employee then said he could not come out for the repair until Sunday. We agreed to any additional labor charges. Called and txtd attempting to confirm if he found the part all day Saturday but received no response. Called today, Sunday, and was told that sorry calls Sunday at 6 am (after our calls made long before that) already filled today's schedule. Provided no information on how to schedule service or get help.
RHP was very professional, respectful, and thorough. I highly recommend them.

Good company with competent employees selling a quality product and taking care with the installation. We got several quotes for our HVAC replacement (furnace + AC), and RHP had both the lowest price and the best value. They were easy to work with and delivered as promised. Happy customer here.
RHP Mechanical did an outstanding job. From initial contact by Adam to evaluate our needs and provide a quote to the great crew that did the installation. Adam also provided additional contact during the entire process to keep me appraised of the job. After installation, Adam kept in contact to make sure everything was working as it should. Everyone was highly efficient, professional, and very congenial. I would highly reccomend RHP Mechanical for any HVAC needs.
Went through Costco for home water services and we got to work with Adam (sales/estimator), Kirk, and Joey (installers) for our water softener and reverse osmosis systems and they did an excellent job! Very professional, responsive, and friendly. Much better now with these systems and kicking myself for not installing these items sooner. Definitely will be recommending them to my friends and family!

RHP installed systems in two of our houses recently. Both jobs were done well, on time and the people couldn't be nicer!
RHP of Reno did an outstanding job of replacing an aged gas furnace and related mechanical system. From the initial evaluation through the purchase and installation - the process was easy and seamless. My husband and I contacted RHP to install a new AC and Heating unit since our 20+ year old system was not working well. Their team was courteous and professional. Adam thoroughly explained the different units and what would work best for our home. He didn't try to up sell us. Andy and Mike did an excellent job with a complex install on a hot day. They both were professional, personable, engineered improvements to the AC system and worked very well together. When they discovered a fault with the main unit they immediately decided to call for another new unit rather than to try a quick”fix”.

The technician came out and didn't fix the cold bar, still charged us.
Next day another company came out and fixed it in half an hour.
Mike and Joey (and Marco from Action Electric) did a great job. The replacement of a furnace and installation of new air conditioning took two days. The work area was cleaned up after each day and the installation looks nice and clean. More importantly the heater works and the air conditioner cools the house. Good job guys!

Great job installing new furnace and A/C at my home. Kenny did a fantastic job and was extremely nice and professional. I would give them a bonus star if it were an option. If you are looking to get a new furnace or A/C installed I would highly recommend using RHP Mechanical Systems for the job.
Incredibly professional, didn’t waste anytime to rack up their hourly rate meter. Called last night because my dog chewed thru wiring outside and the gentleman on the phone ended up contacting another technician that was closer to save time and money. 10/10 would recommend their business to anyone. Very appreciative of this company. Well worth the weekend rate.

Called twice to schedule a appointment first time since it was going to be a Saturday it was going to be 140 to troubleshoot so I took a pass I called 6 minutes later to schedule something for Monday or Tuesday something on the weekday, now I was told you have to be a current customer or wait 2 weeks during the heat who wants to wait... 2 weeks... oh well there a company who believes in favoritisms.

Just because they have been around for years, doesn't mean you will get the best or most honest service. Very disappointed!
This is a stellar company. I highly recommend them! They installed 2 Mitsubishi split units for us. They are extremely customer service oriented, do exactly what they say they’ll do, when they say they’ll do it, are so friendly and polite and leave everything clean and tidy. They are truly one of the best companies I’ve hired in the 40 years I’ve lived in Tahoe! Don’t hesitate to use them.
The crew was very professional and always there to answer any questions. Polite and gave great timelines on when the project was going to be finished. Would recommend them ten times out of ten. Great service.

I had Costco give me a quote for a new furnace and AC unit. The price was cheaper than the competition and the service was great. Andy and Joe were friendly and professional and they worked really diligently to get my installation done in a timely fashion. I actually lied on the selective buttons, it's NOT A Good Value... It's a GREAT VALUE!!! I had few quotes to install A/C and a Water heater. RHP was not the lowest but I was impressed with the promptness or response to my inquiry, when the estimator showed up he was 15 mins early, the crew on work day was 15 mins early and the professionalism from the entire team, down to the lady I first spoke to were every bit good down home professionals. The quality of the work they did on my project was beyond compare. I must have told them 4 or 5 times that I was impressed with their work. Originally I looked them up on line and was contacted the next day and had an estimate appt in 3 days. If your a Costco member the additional benefits you receive going through them is very rewarding. (I wont discuss the reward bc it maybe different when you inquire - but what will be the same is the 2% you get back from Costco at the end of year (which may also very depending on what level Costco member you are)) I will leave you with this, Great Company! Very Professional Crew! Awesome work they did! and I would recommend them to everyone I know looking for the same thing I had done. Again they weren't the lowest price but it wasn't much more, but again ALL THE OTHER THINGS YOU GET GOING WITH RHP WAY WORTH IT!!! Thanks to everyone at RHP!!!

RHP is a respected name around town and has been for a long time. I hesitate to talk to the line of Costco vendors on the way out the door, but I was interested in a water softener and I found they chose to work with Costco. They were professional from day 1. Came to our house and did the water test and just above board all the way. Had recommendations for us and we are just very pleased all the way around. I will use them agtain in the future. I used RHP Mechanical through Costco when I was searching to buy/install a new furnace after my 400 year-old one decided to take a powder. James came in to do an evaluation and he was great. Unlike some other companies, he did not attempt to up-sell or throw all these bells and whistles at me. He gave me a fair price and quote very quickly, and answered all of my questions. The crew was quick, efficient, polite, and got the job done. Their warranty stuff is pretty industry standard, but I was very satisfied with their work. If you are a Costco member, definitely look them up.

We had a furnace that went out. James helped us out quickly with estimates giving my wife and I different options and choices. He was very helpful in offering up advice for different systems, Costco member programs (saved us money), and payment options. During the entire process we felt informed and never pushed. In less than a week we were scheduled and set up for furnace replacement. Andy was our installer and was very cautious with removal of the old unit which was in our ceiling. He stayed to teach us on operation of our new thermostat and made sure we did not have any further questions before he left. Our house was in the same shape as when he entered, but much cooler! These guys are extremely professional and courteous. The service is excellent. I would highly recommend this company, especially James and Andy to anyone needing HVAC service.
