We had a furnace that went out. James helped us out quickly with estimates giving my wife and I different options and choices. He was very helpful in offering up advice for different systems, Costco member programs (saved us money), and payment options. During the entire process we felt informed and never pushed. In less than a week we were scheduled and set up for furnace replacement. Andy was our installer and was very cautious with removal of the old unit which was in our ceiling. He stayed to teach us on operation of our new thermostat and made sure we did not have any further questions before he left. Our house was in the same shape as when he entered, but much cooler! These guys are extremely professional and courteous. The service is excellent. I would highly recommend this company, especially James and Andy to anyone needing HVAC service.

I feel so lucky to have found Mr. Don Weston. I needed to change out my kitchen faucet. He was the first to respond. He is amazingly communicative and flexible: answers texts, calls, and emails in a timely fashion; has excellent availability/lead time; sent me photos of his work; is personable and warm; is willing to actually talk about his findings and be instructive on how to use my new fixture and things to look out for in the first days after installation (vs some professionals who come and go and don’t want to communicate beyond a sentence on the invoice). His rates are extremely reasonable. I feel confident he will stand by his work and respond to me as needed. He is trustworthy, let himself in and locked up behind himself. Mine was a smaller job and he treated it with the same care and priority as a big one. Really grateful to have found such a consummate professional. Straight UP plumbing was excellent. They make sure to notify you when they are on their way. If they are running a little late they make sure and call. Quality of work was what was expected and serviceman Kieth was very pleasant. Asked for a quote for additional work and received it very promptly via e-mail. Price looked very reasonable.

I was awakened at 5 a.m. with the sound of water running outside the house. I determined it was coming from the sprinklers. To my surprise, the main sprinkler line had ruptured and water was running through the yard down the street. I started making calls at 8 a.m. to several landscaping companies. I received no call back or I received an excuse that they wouldn’t be able to even look at my issue for at least a month. I called Eric and left a message. I received a call back within 15 minutes! Eric came out to my house and had the repair finished buy 10 a.m. that morning!!! Thank You, Eric! We will be calling Eric for all our plumbing needs in the future. You Rock!! EC

We had a leaky toilet valve that flooded the bathroom. We called Nods at about 2:40pm on a Saturday from Carson City. Someone arrived an hour later from Reno and they were done before 4:30pm. Service was excellent and more importantly we felt important. We had contacted a few places who could not get here until after the weekend. Thank you Nods

Okay this is a late post. I had to have new lines put in for my hot water tank. Mobile home. The first guy that showed up put the lines in but placed the wrong concecters on the pipes had a big water mess. This was on a Saturday called DD plumbing and Richard answered was at my place fixed the problem that the other guy made I was very happy with Richard and his professional skills. Thanks Richard.

Robert from Savage and sons came over to do 2 simple plumber tasks. 1) fix a kitchen pipe leak and bathroom faucet leak. He tracks dirt and muck into my house and replace items as needed. His caulking job was so bad that I had to buy myself some caulk and redo it myself. 2 days later my bathroom faucet turns on with rust water. I remember him holding a very rusty pipe but I didn't see him install it. I call the office, they sent him back out and he told me it was a bib inside the wall that cause the rust and now he would need to go into the wall to fix it. I was never told that was remotely a possibility. He left with no resolution and told me his office will call me. It's been over 2 weeks, no one called.

Now my faucet gives me rusty water, Savage and sons is supposed to be Reputable! If that's a good merchant, I don't know what anyone considers bad! I am a very unhappy customer.

Just like other reviewers, they do not estimate before doing work so you get stuck with whatever they charge. If I can give negative stars...I would.

Rooter man charged my father several thousand dollars to replace a pump in the sewer. It broke within 90 days and they refuse to fix it. The owner accused my father of digging it up and shoving a stick in it to break it. My father is a retired veteran and is on a limited income. These people are awful.
