Robert and Kai were very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. They did a exceptional job and are true craftsman that take pride in their work and go the extra mile for the customer. They are the only plumber for me.
Their office staff were exceptional as well. I am grateful for there help with my plumbing needs.

As a former Customer Service Manager, I was extremely impressed with the professionalism and service that I received from Straight Up Plumbing. From start to finish, I was amazed at the response time to get a tech out to my home on the same day I called. The excellent job that Shane did on the installation of my new kitchen faucet and garbage disposal was excellent. Shane provided professional service and is a significant asset to Straight Up Plumbing. I would not hesitate to call them again for any future work I may require.

Straight UP plumbing was excellent. They make sure to notify you when they are on their way. If they are running a little late they make sure and call. Quality of work was what was expected and serviceman Kieth was very pleasant. Asked for a quote for additional work and received it very promptly via e-mail. Price looked very reasonable.

My water heater went out very early Monday morning and I was a little stressed not knowing what plumber I should call. I found Straight Up Plumbing and within 2 hours Brianna had a technician at my door. Shane was professional extremely knowledgeable and had excellent communication skills. From start to finish I felt I was treated with care and what a job Shane did! He went the extra mile and brought in a master plumber to inspect the existing water heater stand and he moved bins and boxes to vacuum the dust and dirt around the water heater. Amazing!! They have very fair pricing and went above and beyond! If you need a plumber this is the company to call!

From the call to get service to Shane arriving on time, very courteous and knowledgeable. I really like the contact from company by email and text regarding the appt day and time, arrival time update and invoice sent. Highly recommend! Will definitely use in the future.

Straight Up Plumbing sent a plumber out to service my Navien On Demand Water heater. The tech arrived on time and was very knowledgeable and professional. I will definitely have them come out each year to service my unit. I was hoping to get set up with a local plumber since we are basically new to the area. I asked if they are available for weekend plumbing emergencies and was told that they are not but that they are available after hours during weekdays.

I needed to change toilets in my home to tall (ADA) style. Robert arrived promptly at the appointed time, reviewed the job with me and gave me my options, and then efficiently did the job. He was professional and courteous at all times. i now have 2 good quality toilets!

Chad was able to get me serviced right away. Chad is professional, understanding and prompt. The technician, Robert, was fantastic. He had my toilet fixed in no time. I'm keeping their number handy for all my future plumbing needs.

Do you really want to spend the exorbitant cost for a plumber and discover that their craft and integrity is extremely subpar?
I had a leak in a basement pipe that Mark supposedly repaired. In less than a year, the leak is dripping behind a basement wall and the company refuses to come back out to fix the problem.
If you choose to do business with this outfit, it could be a potentially costly and damaging experience.

A tree broke my water main and while I was digging it out I nicked my neighbor's line causing a second leak. I called Straight Up! to avoid doing any further damage. They came out quickly and explained what the repair would entail and explained where and what I would need to dig to save money on the repair. I called as soon as they opened the next morning and was assured that I was first on the repair list. Keith arrived promptly and I have water restored within an hour. Thank you Straight Up! Plumbing.

It is so great to have a serviceman arrive ON TIME! Shane actually arrive about 10 minutes early and quicthkly went to work. We had a problem with our kitchen faucet and problems with our two toilets. Shane found that the faucet cartridge needed replacement and a new cartridge has been ordered. Next, Shane looked at our Kohler toilets, found the same problems with both toilets and quickly replaced the parts. I would say that Shane provided us with a winning Royal Flush - toilets fixed and the cost for the repair was very fair. Looking forward to having Shane return as soon as the replacement cartridge arrives. This is a five star operation. If you have plumbing problems, call Brie and make an appointment to get your repairs on time and at a fair price.

Great service

4/22/19 - Deric came to my house this morning, accessed the situation, and promptly proceeded to get the part needed for my toilet flange repair. He kindly took photos of the pipe (in the crawl space under my house) so he could better explain the situation to me. He did a wonderful job of repairing the piece. He was prompt, efficient, and kind. I would rate this experience as a ten! I am so happy to have found a plumber whom I can trust!

Had work done on my bathroom tube faucets. I live in the stead area for 40 years and they have never been changed!! They had been leaking for a long while, I installed new seats and rubber tips but continued to leak. It was time to upgrade!!! I got a hold of Straight up Plumbing, boy am I glad I did!! Keith came out gave me a quote and I decided to have it done. Why mostly because of Keith, what a great guy!! He was very professional and friendly. Seeing what he had done it was worth the money!! I highly recommend Straight up Plumbing! Differently ask for Keith!

Logan was on time and fixed our leaking bathroom tub faucet that very day. He even cleaned up around where the old one was and the inside of what he was replacing. He did an awesome job.

Good communication, set, follow up, bit pricey at $156 minimum fee, then tried to tack on $40 for cutting of some fiber tape to get to leak, did remove the extra $40 when I complained however.

I really want to give them five stars because they were such a pleasure to work with; from setting up the appointment, to having them come on time within the window they gave, to the work that was done, to the 30 day guarantee on the work they did. My only problem was that they were more expensive than I imagined it would be. They charged us what they quoted it would be, but didn't quote the job until they came to the house to evaluate it. I understand that needs to be done to be accurate, but I wish I would have at least had a rough idea of what it would be.

Last year Straight Up installed a new hot water heater in our home when the old heater needed replacement. Yesterday one of their plumbers, Robert, came to our home to diagnose and fix a hot water problem due to defective valves under our bathroom sinks. He explained what needed to be done and provided a cost estimate. The work was done quickly and efficiently. It has been my experience that the people who work for Straight Up are very competent and committed to providing good service at reasonable cost.

The company installed a water softener for me in Vegas. A few months later, I needed service and they had shut down services here... I called the Reno location, and they have ignored my requests or just hang up on me... I'm not sure if they're even in business anymore... Either way, save yourself the trouble and move on.

We are more than impressed with Straight Up! Plumbing. From the time we first had them come to our house to give us a bid on our partial master bath remodel, untill they fnished the job the other day, they were nothng but professional. Keith was promt with returning Emails and phone calls and all of my questions were answered. He and Kai were clean & mindful of work enviornment. They did a wonderful job installing our jacuzzie tub. I would highly reccomend Straight Up! Plumbing for any plumbing projects of needs! Thank you guys very much .

Hairline crack in toilet tank that was barely visible that resulted in small pooling of water below tank onto the bathroom floor. Shane quickly diagnosed. Because of age of toilet, decided to replace entire unit. Shane quickly aquired knew toilet from shop and replaced. Prompt, courteous, professional, knowledegable.

I went on Home Advisor to find a good plumber to repair my front yard water leak. I pressed the enter key and about 45 seconds later Bri called me on the phone. I made an appointment and the next morning Robert called to say he was on his way. With a brief description of the problem Robert got to work digging. 5 feet deep later the leaky water pipe was found and fixed. STRAIGHT UP PLUMBING is a professional company to do business with. Not what use to be a typical plumbing company, work little and charge a lot. I can't say enough about how happy I am with Straight Up Plumbing.

This service was better than expected! I was having trouble finding someone I could trust and who would make it to our scheduled appointment on time (I was stood up by two other companies before this). From the beginning their communication was clear and timely. Bri was amazing to work with to set up the appointment and to confirm the appointment. Robert came out and assessed our pipe. He was quick to figure out the problem and quick to fix it. He was very honest and answered all my questions in easy-to-understand language. He even made recommendations for winterizing and showed me how to winterize my irrigation pipe after it was fixed.

I loved the friendly service on the phone and the ease of texting was an added bonus.

Even though this merchant provided an excellent plumber in Robert Quintana they didn't live up to their promised website advertisement at the time of providing a 10% veteran/senior discount. After I complained to them that I was going to dispute the matter with my credit card issuer and write negative reviews about this issue they removed the advertisement from their website.

We had Strait up plumbing build a whole new gas line after our gas lines went faulty. They were professional, fast and prompt. We were in need, and they wasted no time getting the job done.

Robert was very professional and knowledgeable. He helped me choose the kitchen faucet that best suited my needs, and went over and above to make sure I had the most efficient kitchen sink configuration. All of my dealings with Bri on the phone were also very friendly and efficient. Robert arrived exactly when promised, and I am extremely happy with this service. I would happily recommend Straight Up! Plumbing.

Really good experience with this plumber. Previously had used Rooter-Man plumbing (who I would give a zero star review if it were possible) who jerked us around, never showed up on time, and wanted to do a repair that cost ten times as much as what was needed. After four days of not getting anything done with Rooter-Man called Straight Up Plumbing and they got someone out same day, he was able to diagnose the problem very quickly and would have fixed it same day but didn't have the tools needed so scheduled a return the next day first thing. There was a little bit of a scheduling snafu (our plumber ended up getting double booked for that morning) and that is why I only give four stars instead of five, but once he did come out he had the problem that Rooter-Man had said would take several days to fix done in less than two hours (and again, for a tenth of the cost). Highly recommend these guys.

This company is outstanding! They are courteous and professional in every way. I needed a hot water heater replaced. They came out the day I called and installed it at the price quoted. Shane is a very skilled and knowledgeable plumber and he worked late to get the job done. I highly recommend them for your plumbing needs in the Carson Valley.

Very responsive and stays in contract with you about schedule and timing. Provides an upfront quote on all jobs. Derik, the plumber, was very friendly, communicated what he was going to do, and kept us updated. Only reason, I did not give five stars, was the work was a little messy. While Derik, picked up well, we did have to vacuum and wipe up a little. This could be asking too much. None the less, I will use Straight Up Plumbing next time I need a plumber.

Excellent and quick plumbing service

Robert, orienting Alvaro, They were polite, knowledgeable, efficent, wiped their feet to decrease dirt in the home. Robert provided video of the problem and made a suggestion to fix it. Bree informed me prior to job checks or cash were the least expensive way to pay the bill and she had a opening on the day I called. They were able to complete the repair in the time frame expected on the same day I called.

Straight Up plumbing is the best. From the first phone call right up to receiving the receipt, the experience was great. Shane was our plumber and his work is very good. We really couldn't be more pleased. I would highly recommend this company for all of your plumbing needs.

I was blown away at the reasonably priced And efficient service. They really went out of their way to be helpful, and they got my garbage disposal and plumbing problem handled Very quickly. Highly recommended for any Plumbing need that you have.

If there were more stars to give in a review - I would try to find a way to give double the maximum. This team is absolutely amazing. Keith and Chad were incredible. I cannot believe it was just Monday that my call was returned by Kathleen (and her bubbly professionalism is such a breath of fresh air). We'd been searching for a plumber for our project for 7 months and just never would get a returned call... so on a fluke I put my name out there to Home Advisor and in less than 10 minutes Kathleen called. I absolutely loved all the technology intertwined in their business. The texts for appointments and when the gentlemen were in route and all of the electronic quotation and invoicing. Very slick! I cannot say enough great things, we are so very thankful. Our project was not the easiest and these gentlemen did amazing work - simply amazing. I'm still in shock how hard Keith and Chad both worked and how quickly and beautifully everything was completed. We are so very satisfied and so very happy we now have a plumbing service for all of our future needs!

Great work and service, but be sure to not make the same mistake I did. I received a few quotes after the fact on the labor and I paid about 500.00 too much on a fairly routine water heater replacement. I knew something was wrong when I paid 1400.00 for 6 hours of labor and ~100.00 in materials. I called to provide the feedback and get a better understanding of why it was so much higher than anyone else but nobody called me back hence the 2 star review. I'll be looking elsewhere for my future plumbing needs.

Estimated price seemed somewhat high, until I saw our plumber spend 3 hours on the job. Very professional, took time to explain everything he was doing, everything worked well when done, and then I realized the price was a bargain. Would definitely use Straight Up again for my next plumbing job.

Straight Up Plumbing quickly got us on their schedule when one of our lawn sprinklers was apparently trampled by a wild horse. Shane arrived on time, diagnosed the extent of the damage, made a parts run, and had the whole thing fixed and operating properly in short order. The cost was very reasonable, and everyone I talked with at the company was super friendly and accommodating. Straight Up is my plumbing company for the long haul!

My water heater failed sunday afternoon and first thing monday morning I went to home advisor and found Straight up plumbing. I left a message with them before they had opened for the day. They reached out to me within in minutes (before they had opened) and asked what my problem was and told me they would be to me asap. At 8:20 The tech.(Robert Quintana was at my door. I showed him what was going on he gave me a quote and finished a new hot water heater instal 2 1/2 hrs. My total experience from start to finish was handled perfectly ... From going into crawl space under the house with all those creepy crawlies , to working in extreme heat, Shane was wonderful. They cancelled with less than 24 hours notice on a job that I explained when making the appointment the previous month had to be done on the day I set the appointment. Then they got angry when I was upset with them. Very unprofessional all around.

Straight Up! Plumbing was wonderful when it came to timeliness and customer service. Our technician, Shane, was also great! I'm only dinging them one star because they are definitely a more expensive option. I had to have the same service done on my home twice (for different areas), and they charged almost double what it cost me the first time- that being said, the customer service, efficiency, and timeliness made it worth it.

Straight Up Plumbing was super responsive to a quote request I put in through Yelp. They called right away and had a plumber out in less than 30 minutes to replace my broken hose bib. Customer service and curtesy was outstanding!

Logan spent lots of time with us, gave us great value for our money, did a great job, was nice and easy to work with and was very knowledgeable about our issues. He patiently answered all our questions and even spoke very highly of the management of the company. We would easily call Straight Up Plumbing again whenever we need a plumber.

I contacted Straight Up! Plumbing to reinstall plumbing after our new counter tops were installed. First, they communicate better than any contractor I have worked with, and there have been a lot! They use phone, email and texting to keep you informed every step of the way. Robert, who did the actual work, went above and beyond to make sure we had a usable kitchen, staying late on a Friday night to complete the work. I highly recommend them for your next plumbing need.

Bottom line, a pro should have been able to do the job in less than an hour and for ~$50 in parts. You wanted to charge $400 for that. That's outragous and people in Reno and Sparks should know about it. $200 Would have been fair, I'm just helping others not get ripped off. The picture is what your tech wanted $400 to fix...

They are VERY nice, showed up on time, polite which is why they get 2 stars, not 1. Their prices are outrageous, I wonder how many poeple have been taken advantage of by this company...???

I called them out because we had a shower valve that wouldn't shut off and was a constant dribble. I understand I was calling a plumber to do a basic fix, something that probably takes less than an hour and I would pay a premium but I didn't want to deal with it. Big mistake.

They quoted $200 to replace the leaking valve, $400 to replace both, which was recommended. IMO, $200 to replace both would have been reasonable. I asked the guy twice if he was sure about the $400 price, to which he said yes. I told him to leave and completed the repair myself. I even told the guy I would write this review and asked a 3rd time if he was sure about the outrageous quote.

Judge for yourself in the merit of the quote and business practices; consider if your going to call them.

Changed my tank water heater for a thankless one, Robert did an excellent and Chad at the office is very accommodating as far scheduling and pricing....if you have a project, they are the one to call!!!

Made an appointment a week ago, the plumber never arrived, I texted the appointment setter and she stated she called and cancelled through voicemail. This is not true because I check my messages daily. They wasted my time, I have leaking problem that could have been fixed by someone else. Very unprofessional and waste of time. I would absolutely not rely on them or recommend them.

I hired Straight up Plumbing to remove an old bathtub and install a new one. I was impressed with their excellent customer service. They were prompt with a response and on time. They texted and emailed me to keep me informed and remind me of our appointments, which was awesome!
I felt like they did great work and when I later hired a tile company to put tile around the tub, he also commented they did a good job.
I would hire again, and recommend for sure.
