Had work done on my bathroom tube faucets. I live in the stead area for 40 years and they have never been changed!! They had been leaking for a long while, I installed new seats and rubber tips but continued to leak. It was time to upgrade!!! I got a hold of Straight up Plumbing, boy am I glad I did!! Keith came out gave me a quote and I decided to have it done. Why mostly because of Keith, what a great guy!! He was very professional and friendly. Seeing what he had done it was worth the money!! I highly recommend Straight up Plumbing! Differently ask for Keith!

I have used Jet for Years they have always provided great service. This last winter my furnace went In the evening. I called them at 8:30pm and spoke to a live person. They were able to find room in there schedule to come out the next day! They are my first and last stop when I have a plumbing or heating problems.

Miles did a great job maintaining our water heater and furnace, explaining his findings and recommendations for a filtration system.

Due to my latest experience with this company, I would not call them again. We had a backed up sewer line on Saturday morning. I called and got Mickey first thing, having used them in the past. He said he was unable to come out today, but would call me back in the morning. Not hearing back from him by 9:45 on Sunday morning, I then called him again. He said that his kids do not get up before 10:00, but would call me back. I then received a text saying the he would arrive by 11:00. I had everything staged for him with the septic tank open and the drain in the laundry room opened. Mickey arrived about 11:15 with what I felt was a belligerent attitude. He brought out his machine, asking me if I had an extension cord, which i provided. He placed the auger in the drain line in the septic tank inlet and ran the auger into the line which did relieve the initial backup of water. I then asked him to come inside and help with the slow draining tub and wash machine in the laundry room. He very bluntly told me his was done as he put his machine back into his truck.. Suggested that I apply root killer on the remaining roots, and asked me how I was going to pay for his service. I asked him how much and he replied $300.00, which was somewhat of a shock to me as he only spent less than 20 minutes total. I wrote him a check and he left without as much as saying thank you only telling me that I should use some root killer and have him back in 6 to 9 months to repeat the cleaning. I then spent the next 2 to 3 hours using my hand snake clearing out the obstruction in the line from the laundry room and the bathtub. I simply felt that he was only interested in collecting his money. If I have further problems, I will call someone else.

We called about 10 different plumber's no one would come out for at least a week. meanwhile we have water coming from the wall into our house we purchased 3 days prior. Eric came out immediately and I mean immediately! He was very polite and helpful from the beginning to end. He was very fast and efficient the best contractor I have ever encountered by a mile and unfortunately I have too much experience with plumbing issues and contractors. We have most definitely found our plumber and plan on having him come back for toilet replacement and any further issues. I'm so grateful we have a go to guy from now on. They never showed up, had an appointment and gave me a window between 1-5 and never showed up or called. I called at 4:30 to make sure they were coming and they said another hour, long story short it is now 8:15pm and they are still not here and no one has bothered to call me. Terrible!!!!

Very disappointed with Best. In 2011, Joe was the only plumber and was on fire to grow his 3 year old business. Now, he will not respond to a request about the descaling shutoff valves on the Rinnai he installed in 2011 so I can descale the unit. He never left instructions this needs to be done once a year along with replacing the water filter. (The unit is still working fine, but has never been serviced!). The lady in the office said they will NOT rpt NOT service this unit since it has been 11 years! (I know a much better company than Best that will descale the unit, but I am capable.)
When Joe removed the 90 gallon water heater it had water hammer suppressors on the hot and cold water lines. I asked about replacing these. His response “don’t worry about it”. I lived with water hammer for about 8 years and finally called him. He and 2 of his crew came to my house and put in a pressure regulating valve to reduce the water pressure. Now we all know this is not going to stop the water hammer, so they entered the crawl space and hammered the nails holding the pipe clamps. Joe pointed to the intake water line for the 3M water filter. More on this later. They did the attaboys and left, but I still had water hammering. Not good for washing machines, dishwashers and toilets.
So I called Jet plumbing and they came out right away and installed an expansion tank in the line before the 3M water filter where Joe had been pointing and voila, no more water hammer. It cost less than $300.
Thanks for nothing, Joe. I will figure out the descaling ports for my Rinnai.

Everyone calling this company a scam and to look on YouTube to find out about it need to watch the video for themselves again! That company was in Salem! This is in Reno! Different owners! God maybe they should change their business name I guess to avoid the bad publicity.
