Trash company from top to bottom. They destroyed equipment and flooded our shop causing us a substantial amount to fix and clean up. After all the damages they still asked for a payment even though cost to repair was more then the job amount. Also, owner doesn't like pulling permits. They'll get you red flagged with sloppy work.

They respond quickly and have saved me in time of crisis more than once. I have used them to snake my drain at my business/ a laundromat, so I really appreciate the timeliness and knowledge!!

I've had these guys out to my house in Truckee a number of times and have been very happy with their work each time. Their boiler technician is especially knowledgeable.

This company led me to believe that they fixed under the house leaks but when Johnny, the plumber they sent got here, he wouldn’t do the job. Don’t waste your time with Master Service Plumbing.

Armando is an excellent plumber.

Tim provided superior repeat service. He previously saved me an incredible amount of money by dissuading me from continuing a drain (root) clearing service. I had had them over five years and then they didn’t pay for a visit because it technically wasn’t a root clearing issue.
I appreciate his candor and his explanation of how to have good performance at a reasonably priced level.

Master service plumbing is the best. They made my plumbing issues go away as fast as possible. I would highly recommend them to anyone. From now on they are my go to plumbers.

Would highly avoid this business. Showed up 30 minutes early and still charged me. It was an easy job and they even used my tools that I had inside the home. Paid way too much for not great service.

These guys installed a new furnace, hot water tank, hooked up new system to existing snow melt piping, fixed leaks in floor pipes. Work was done on time, beatifully installed, Mark checked regularly, and I could not be happier. Highly recommend.

We woke up Monday to water heater leaking all over. They arrived within 20 minutes and began working immediately to stop the leak, remove the old water heater and replace with a new tankless heater. Very responsive, professional and dedicated team. Couldn't ask for a better experience. Thanks Master Service!

Tim and Armando were fantastic!

I have never actually worked with him and after my run in with him I would never or would I ever recommend him to anyone. I was walking through my parking lot when he almost backed out and hit me. He didn't stop until I yelled hey. I then kept walking. He pulls out and pulls up alongside me to then tell me how he saw me the whole time and how it was my fault. If he saw me me why was he still backing out? Was he trying to hit me then? Then tells me I need to walk in the middle of the road instead. Hadn't said anything up until this point except hey to stop him from hitting me sp not sure why he felt the need to pull up and say anything at all.. That's when I decided to take a picture of his van so I could report to the company and he very cockily told me you can just send that right to me I'm the owner and laughed. This is not a business owner I'd ever want to interact with again

I was referred to Marc’s company from another local plumber that said the location of the hose bib that needed repairing was in an awkward position. I called Marc and he sent over Armando to get a quote. I wasn’t expecting anything to be completed for at least a week or so. Armando showed up within the hour and finished the job. I was super surprise at how quick and efficient he was to complete the repair. The lady at the main office called me to notify of the completion of the repair and the overall cost was $400 less than my initial quote for the former plumber. I am referring Master service plumbing to my inner circle of associates that may need repair work done in the near future. Thank you so much for fixing this problem.

Technician was on time; polite and knowledgeable. Happy with the quality of work performed.

Pros: Customer service team in the office is responsive and professional; service people do a great job cleaning up after their work; they call about 15 minutes before they get to your house so you aren’t left wondering when they will show; when the work they did needed to be repaired, they came out very quickly and did not charge a second fee; were flexible to meet my schedule

Cons: The initial person I worked with was fairly abrasive, hard to communicate with, and not very punctual; the work needed to be redone in less than a month (but was fixed in about an hour by a very personable individual); prices seem “flexible” leaving me to wonder if I was overcharged; the type of work performed required installing new handles in multiple showers and I wasn’t given any choice on style which I was really disappointed about

Pricing: They estimated about $100 an hour for labor and it ended up around $130-$145 per hour.

Overall: In the end I couldn’t shake the feeling that I was overcharged and bummed that some of the work failed so quickly. Truthfully, the interaction with the second technician made up for the first experience. All in all I felt overcharged by about $300-$400.

Would I recommend?: Maybe

As a reviewer I try to wait about one month to a year before posting reviews. The purpose of this is to ensure the work holds up and any follow up can be included. Focusing on “pros” and “cons” helps to be objective and reflect that few interactions are completely perfect or completely terrible.

Dustin did a great job and responded quickly when we called after hours due to a backup in our septic system. Top notch service, will definitely recommend!!

Came quickly when called the emergency number.

Horrible company. They sent plumber at end of day who had no clue and was abusive. He cut a huge hole in my ceiling and left with job not done and destruction dust and mess left. When I complained about amount I paid for little result they sent another man to evaluate who only tried to send us to over priced and rude plumbing retail co. Then sent us another bill for as much as first invoice I had paid. This company is unscrupulous and incompetent. I have video of mess they left and messages threatening collection for their trouble shooter who did nothing to help but made matters worse. I finally saved money to hire good plumber who could not believe how poorly our bathroom leak was handled. He said plumber was incompetent. That was after nearly a year of unusable guest bath due to Master Service Plumbings’ incompetence rude and uncaring business dealing. BE WARNED.

Here at Star Construction we use Master Service Plumbing exclusively. Their response time and Quality is unmatched.

MSP helped with my outdoor kitchen project and did a fantastic job! During the build, another trade showed up unexpectedly potentially throwing everything out of order and off schedule. MSP scrambled to send someone out to make sure my project's timeline wasnt jeopardized. Thank you!!!!

The service people are professional n friendly, the office people are helpful n courteous. The service Mgr. was covering because workers called in which delayed the time of arrival for the appt. Had an emergency at 10:30 at night. Lee came out and did an emergency fix in the dark then returned the next morning to make the full repair. Good service & work and reasonable rates.

We use Master Service for a commercial project and we were pleased with how thorough and responsive they were even though their scope was minimal.

Mark the owner came out immediately to check our issue. We had been told that part of the tile in the shower would have to be removed to replace a faucet. They sourced an old part and left the tile in tact. Armando repaired various things, including moving the gas line for a stove. He did an excellent job. Great group.

The technician had relevant experience, was quick to respond, and got the job done quickly. Very reasonable pricing.

I was traveling in my Class A RV and had a plumbing issue with ice maker leaking behind the refrigerator. I Googled a Plumber Near me, and I found Master Service Plumbing. Marc came out within an hour and had me fixed up and down the road again in short order.

Robert came out and spent lots of time explaining my current hydronic heating system and why it should be replaced. He also quickly diagnosed a pin hole leak which will be repaired before my new system is ordered. I am a very satisfied customer based on my early experience with this firm!

Master Service Plumbing has helped me a number of times deal with things as simple as relating a urinal that wasn’t flushing, to replacing a broken pipe in our ceiling for our water spout. They even rebuilt our old toilet tank system in our church that wore out. Each time, they sent someone to estimate what needed fixing and then came back quickly with what was needed to get it done. What I appreciated most is that they worked with me, calling me back and working with my schedule. Give ‘em a try!

After doing laundry, noticed all of a sudden there was water backing up in both bathrooms. Called spoke with Josh and they were going to send someone out. Jay knew exactly what was wrong. He cleaned out the clean out drain. Made sure everything was draining properly. Great service. Very nice, professional. They now have a new customer.
