Best Gas Leak Detection in Reno NV

Art's Plumbing replumbed our entire house to replace our defective Kitec plumbing. They were reasonably priced, polite, professional, and prompt. They did a great job, arrived when they said they would, and cleaned up after themselves. I highly recommend!!!

An honest group of guys that takes a lot of pride in what they do. The crew was on site for over 2 months performing an industrial installation of a hot and cold water system that required silver soldering 95% of the connections. It was a large and complicated project that they were building to prints, but as those in industry know things are not always black and white between 2D prints and the actual building during an installation. I was impressed from the project’s start to finish with the company’s handling of every detail and decisions made along the way. Most of all, communication was very fast and clear, we never felt left hanging or out of the loop.

They’re not very big on advertising, but definitely one of the best plumbing contractors in town.

Tracy was awesome! So helpful on a night phone call in giving instructions for turning the water off at my water heater and being on time early this morning to fix my problem and install a new WH. They are fair and not mean

Very unprofessional technician and service provided by this company. My wife and I (no prior experience with plumbing) had installed a new kitchen sink in my mother's house and called NDI to inspect our handiwork and fix some leaks we couldn't figure out. The technician comes, fixes a few problems, and everything appears to be OK once he tests it. However, about half an hour after he leaves, one of the connections starts leaking again. I called the company back to inform them, and they said they had to rebill me to come out there and look at it again. The technician tells me that I had one incorrectly sized part (hat gasket) that came with my sink that he had noticed, and then he told me to go buy it at Lowe's and fix this issue myself. He said it would be cheaper than having them come out there again. He added that he had installed that wrong part that my sink came with because he didn't have the right sized gasket in his service vehicle, and that when he noticed there weren't any leaks, he thought he had (and I do quote) gotten lucky and made it work despite his using the wrong part.

I'm thinking - I just paid you for one hour's worth of labor so you could knowingly jam wrong parts into my sink and tell ME to go fix the problem myself? Despite the aggravation, I go ahead and purchase the part, install it ... and the sink still leaks. My mother is irate and calls NDI.

Next day, NDI (same technician) comes out there again once my mother complains to them. The tech inspects his work and now concludes that the sink is actually missing ANOTHER part (cardboard gasket) that he had not told me about either in person or over the phone. Interestingly, he also does not have this new part. He says he can fix it all, but again, NDI would have to bill us for labor. Having seen NDI's lack of professionalism and integrity, my mom and I opted not to take this route.

My recommendation: Do NOT use this company. From my experience, they do not appear to address customer concerns satisfactorily and seek to blame you (likely the less experienced and/or non-professional plumber, in most cases) for their negligence and mistakes. I would not have written this negative review had they gone back and fixed their mistake in good faith, but sadly, they did not take this honest route.

Our hot water heater went out in Reno. I contacted Rich and he responded to my request for a new hot water heater very quickly. We agreed on a time for the repairs to be completed. They were on time and completed the job at a fair and reasonable price. I would highly recommend Jolly Rooter in the future - 100%.

Gibson was great. I have a unique Geo-Thermal / Water Furnace in my Truckee home. Few firms have the expertise and equipment necessary to service these highly efficient systems. Gibson scheduled within 2 days and performed a complete inspection, maintenance, and cleaning of the Water Furnace. Very pleasant to work with, and definitely knows his stuff. Our water heater was outdated and costing a lot, so we decided to have a new energy efficient one installed. We were worried about the cost, because money is tight, but Bill at S&S walked us through pricing and gave us a great quote!

He was prompt and professional! Completed the job in under 2 hours 🙌 and even followed up with us 2 weeks later to make sure everything was working properly. Thank you Bill!!

They were late and when I called to see where he was the lady on the phone was very rude,said she would call us back but never did,but when the guy finally came he was nice and did his job,and when they did the job on Thursday they did not process payment till 4 days later,very unprofessional business

Very responsive and stays in contract with you about schedule and timing. Provides an upfront quote on all jobs. Derik, the plumber, was very friendly, communicated what he was going to do, and kept us updated. Only reason, I did not give five stars, was the work was a little messy. While Derik, picked up well, we did have to vacuum and wipe up a little. This could be asking too much. None the less, I will use Straight Up Plumbing next time I need a plumber.

The technician Myles Skinner that came to my home was very nice, extremely efficient and did his job very well and I was extremely happy with the service provided.

Called Big Bear Plumbing to replace my water heater which is stressful not knowing how long id be without hot water and not to mention the cost. Eric showed up very flexible schedule that really helped me out, quoted me what the cost would be and when the work would be done... with great relief he completed the work as he had quoted on time and the best part no surprises on the bill! I’d put Big Bear Plumbing at the top of your list when any plumbing emergency comes up!

We called them tonight, a Friday, at 8pm when our bath tub faucet was leaking. Technician Scott was here within 20 minutes and had it fixed in less than half an hour. He was super friendly and professional. They also charged us half what we were quoted by another after hours plumber. Would absolutely use this company again.

Superior customer service, Nick was able to squeeze an unpleasant plumbing issue into the schedule quickly. Tracey was professional and pleasant, explaining the entire service of replacing a very old leaking water heater with a unit that is up to code, looks fantastic, and more so made us realize how terrible the old heater was, as the new one means business when asked for hot water! Absolutely our forever plumbing company!
