Called on a Saturday night at 10pm and there was a technician at my door within an hour. Our technician was very knowledgeable and helpful. Would definitely recommend Benjamin Franklin Plumbing of Raleigh!

Jimmy and his crew did an outstanding job installing our new HVAC and mini split. They completed both jobs in a timely manner, cleaned up and answered all of our questions along the way. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a qualified and professional company to work on their home.

We inherited an annual contract with Airmakers when we purchased our home. I have been very pleased with their customer service when scheduling appointments. Their technicians always arrive on time and are polite and courteous. They explain suggested and/or needed repairs and do not pressure you to have optional items done. I am very satisfied with their work and would highly recommend them.

Our heat pump is making strange noise and not cooling properly. I called on October 1 at 11:10am. I was told they would be here Sunday 10/3 between 9 and 11am. No one showed up . I called on Monday to see why no one came and was told there was nothing on their schedule for me. Then they said they would have someone there Thursday 10/7 between 4and6 pm. They called and said tech was running late. He arrived after 7:00 and was here over 3 hours. Could not fix it and said a senior technician would come on Friday. That did not happen. I called Saturday 10/8 and they said they left me a message but I did not have any messages. So now someone is coming Monday 10/11 between 4and6pm. If they don’t come on Monday I plan to call someone else.

We appreciate the speedy and efficient work for a leaking valve in our shower that would not shut off. Tyler was outstanding, quick, and professional.

Our programmable thermostat went out so the heat wasn’t working. Matt checked everything out & figured out the problem. He made sure to answer all questions & help with reprogramming new thermostat. He was very professional, knowledgeable & on time. I got same day service so thankful for that also. I highly recommend Air Experts.

Dalton and Charlie were very professional and did a great job de-scaling our old cast iron drains.

Contacted Bolton to put in place a re-circulation pump on my hot water line. Frank the technician (courteous, prompt, respectful) completed the work in less than one (1) hour and 30 minutes.
The pump listed retail at $360, tubing and tee est. $50 max.
Why did the Brian the service manager proceed in charging me $1479.98 (the estimated price). Labor, disconnecting my hot water line, purging the tank, placing the pump in-line, installing a tee under my sink.
This is a prime example of a company who gouges customers, whom employs a service managers who has absolutely no people skills, and has no ability to separate logic from the non-reality.
I would not recommend this company.
I will never do business with this company ever again
I have both invoices, mails, and recorded conversations that clearly express the act of trying to take advantage of the customer.
To add insult to an already injured situation, the receptionist Kelly called me the next day of receiving the severely reduced invoice and made an attempt to collect...all the while - the payment was sent via US mail the same day of receiving the more realistic invoice.
Again, if you do not want to share my pain...avoid this company!

Friendly, fast, and competent

Purchased new house in May 2018 and after moving in realized we had horrible water pressure in house and outside hose faucets. We contacted them and they sent plumber out to tell us it was because we had 3/4” meter from the city that was causing our problems. Called city and they checked the pressure with no issues on their side and all meters are 3/4” in island. Not to mention both our nieghbors have great pressure. So we called a plumber and he pointed out they ran 1/2” lines they the entire house which is why we have no water flow. Our outside faucets barely spray 6’ with sprayer nozzle. Needless to say neither SECOF or the plumber they hired Rural plumbing wanted to fix the problem. There only response was that it passed inspection.

Cannot speak more highly of the service I received today. Called yesterday. Plumber came this morning as promised. Did what I had asked, and just so expertly and professionally. Removed the “spaghetti” of waste pipes under the kitchen sink, replacing them with a simpler, safer, more logical layout. Thank you! Highly recommend this company.

Shafee was great. Even though he hadn't serviced my HVAC system previously, he seemed familiar with the system that you've been servicing for years. Very professional and explained every step of the service visit.

The tech Travis was outstanding courtist and knowledgeable about his job quite an asset too your Co.
