First time using this company because I had a bad experience with another HVAC company. This guys are awesome. From calling in and talking to the people on the to the tech who came out. They spent quality time explaining everything to me and didn’t make it seem like I was a bother. They weren’t in a rush to move on he stayed until I was satisfied on what they were doing. My sixteen year old Goodman with R22 died. Kaput. Diagnostics were provided by Mark, sales by Cody, and installation of a new Goodman with R410 refrigerant was expertly performed by Sean and Robert. It’s a job well done! Out with the old and in with the new. The new system is smoother while running than the older one. I highly recommend this company for excellent service, communication, and follow through.

I have been working with this company since 2015. They replaced both of my AC units and one of my furnaces. The staff is exceptionally professional and polite. They will explain as much as they possibly can to customers so that we can make informed decisions and make daily choices about how best to optimally care for an HVAC unit. I recently had them come unclog a line for my upstairs AC unit. They did a great job but I had some concerns about if it was possible water was still leaking and they came and double checked it. The staff was exceptionally polite and stated that it was very understandable because water damage can destroy a ceiling. While they had successfully stopped the line leak the second time they came out we uncovered where the water initially pooled on the drywall and got some fans running on it. This company is thorough and I believe they train their staff well and treat them with respect. I truly believe this company values both their customers AND their employees so I can't recommend them enough.

Appreciate the level of service I receive from Air Experts. They communicate well before and during the service call. I always know exactly who is coming and when. Jonathon was on time and professional and took care to leave my home in as good of condition as when he arrived. The AC in my house went out in July. It hit 93° in my home and I have a dog. So I called air experts and the technician that was sent out to look at my AC, Kevin, was beyond professional. He within an hour had my AC back up and running and explained everything he was doing and what caused the issue to me. Not only knowledgeable, but Kevin befriended my dog with treats and was extremely friendly. I will call Air Experts back when ever I have another issue and ask for Kevin specifically. Highly recommend!

Adrian arrived on time and asked me questions about the HVAC system, where they were located, etc. I asked him to check the dampers on the upstairs unit. He did that first and then performed the system maintenance. He was very polite and easy to talk to.

Mark Fahorn ist simply the BEST technician. Very knowledgeable, eager to answer any questions and professional. He is a Jewel at Air Experts, he has been servicing our system for many years. I would not have anybody else to come out !

He arrived at the earliest point in the time range on a Sunday morning, having called in advance. The problem ended up being trickier than initially expected. At each step of the way, he made sure to explain where the problem might be and what test and result would confirm it.

He fixed the issue in a timely manner and left me with a better understanding of my system, what caused the issue and how he fixed it. Really nothing more you could ask for.

I’ve been using Air Experts for over 10 years. I’m alway impressed with the Techs they send out. Always on time, professional and thorough. I always have lots of questions because I like to understand the maintenance they do and and know about my HVAC systems. They explain in detail, show me pictures, readings, and point things out on the equipment. Their annual maintenance is very thorough. Their office personnel are always friendly and very prompt with follow up calls and appointment scheduling. They may not be the least expensive service, but always getting prompt great service is worth investing in. And I’d like to think it goes to paying their techs a decent wage to retain the best of them.

They improperly installed my HVAC system causing it to burn out within 6 years of installation. The entire system needs to be rebuilt, costing an arm and a leg. They estimated the parts to come in within a month, but it's been two months now and our HVAC is still broken. Leaving this at 1 star until they get it fixed.

Also they deleted my previous review on Google for their bad service. So… yeah super shady.

I woke up in the middle of the night last night because my A/C went out. We were scheduled to have 20 or so guests coming over in less than 10 hours. I called Air Experts about 8:30 AM and a tech was at my home before noon, on a Saturday! Preston H. was very competent, professional, and had the issue resolved in about an hour. The cost of the repair was very reasonable (under $100 for a Saturday callout) since I bought the system from Air Experts about two years ago and am on their annual maintenance plan (which is also a reasonable cost). Nice save, AE.

A different ac repair company tried and failed to fix my AC when it wasn’t working. I wanted a second opinion on whether the whole system needed to be replaced. Gage came in, diagnosed the problem quickly, and fixed it straight away. The problem ended up being something fairly small the other company should have found. He was professional, knowledgeable, honest and efficient. He had all the right knowledge and equipment to diagnose and solve the problem. He explained what the issue was and got it done. I couldn’t be more pleased.

I just had my summer maintance completed and my experience was excellent - very thorough and took the time to explain what he was doing and in what condition my unit is in.

Upstairs ac unit had a bad motor. Technician called and found the part, went to the parts depot to pick it up and installed it, the continued with ac maintenance.

Couldn't ask for more.

The technician discovered a manufacturer's defect which had apparently been missed by the tech who did a service call a week prior. Three wires were resting on the compressor causing the coatings to melt which resulted in the compressor shorting out. It took some time but hopefully when the new part is installed we will have air again.

Was very knowledgeable about A/C repair. Great service technician.

He was professional and nice and knowledgeable. It was the thermostat that was set on cool 75 degrees but it was only about 60 outside. It turned off and the temp had dropped to 61 to match the outside temp so I was freezing that night and thought my new HVAC had broken already. He explained what the problem was after he had checked the system and it was OK. When he first came in I was pretty upset, but he stayed calm and handled the situation very well especially after how many customers he had that day (which was Easter) and still came to me about 5:30. I really appreciated his time and the office people who stayed on top of it all.

We signed up for a maintenance check and also had a potential issue with the condensate pipe. He was great at troubleshooting and explaining the problem which got solved in the maintenance cleaning. 5 stars!

We recently had Air Experts come out to do A/C maintenance on our house. Their technician, Aidan was very professional and knowledgeable. We decided to join their Comfort Club, which allows us two cleanings per year and a couple other benefits, which came out to just under $200 (per year). Worth it to keep our system in good shape!

My first annual plumbing maintenance visit, today, by Ramal Jones, could not have gone better. He flushed my Rinnai tankless water heater, both checked and cleaned the two critical electrodes for corrosion, inspected and cleaned other parts, as well as reset the inside timer for new preheated periods for AM and PM

RJ also checked a toilet and ran multiple water tests inside our home, whIle the hot water heating flushing ran on the outside.

Professional, efficient, and personable, RJ continued to impress me, like the previous HVAC technicians, with the Air Experts.

Jadin called prior to his arrival and was on time. He was very respectful of our home, and did what is probably the most thorough inspection and cleaning our systems have ever had! He also went over the report with my husband.

Great job by Brandon repairing our issue. He was on time and very professional. We have used them for several years for our HVAC systems and will continue to do so.

Harrison came out to try and solve an ongoing problem in a tankless hot water recirculating system. Multiple plumbers have tried but with no luck. Harrison spent time diagnosing and speaking with the manufacturer, Rinnai. He was able to point out a couple of things not known before that may affect the problem but the unfortunately the only solution may be replacement of system. Very satisfied with Harrison, he was thorough and knowlegable and communicated the issue well. Also very happy with the support from Air Experts and will continue to use them.

The previous owner of my house had a local competitor contracted for maintenance, so I had called them first. I tried twice and could never get a call back. I reached out to some friends of mine and two of them said call Raleigh Heating & Air. I have been very impressed with how responsive and professional they are. Every person I have talked to on the phones has been so friendly and kind. The notifications are awesome too. Matt and JD came out today to check my systems out and everything went smoothly. They were very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Service quality is usually based on the first interaction and I would say I hope the trend continues.

Just had Gregory Bunson out to perform my bi-annual HVAC maintenance. Prior to the appointment, I received an email, phone call and text reminder letting me know Gregory was on his way. Gregory was on time, professional and thorough with my service and even identified a minor problem which was quickly resolved no-charge based on my maintenance agreement. Beyond the system service was the level of respect and professionalism that Gregory endeavored to provide. He put on shoe covers before entering my home, turned off lights when he finished and took the time to provide a detailed explanation of what he did and the status of my systems. This is the level of service I expect and the reason I stay with Air Experts Heating and Cooling!

Very happy with the installation and service

In December of 2020, Air Experts sold us a Rheem HVAC system and a Lennox PureAir air purifier which attaches to the air handler. The Air Experts salesman gave us the hard sell on the benefits of the Lennox unit -- best unit on the market for people with allergies ...blah... blah... blah. He also told us it needs servicing every 6 months to a year depending on the allergen load in our home. We had them install the system in January of 2021. Despite many requests to Air Experts to service our Lennox PureAir, it has not been serviced -- almost 2 1/2 years after the initial installation. Two months ago, in March, I sent Air Experts an email requesting that our Lennox system be serviced along with our HVAC units. I had just paid for their annual service agreement - $287.16. I then called to reiterate that I wanted the Lennox unit serviced at the next HVAC service. I was told it would have to be scheduled approximately two months out to give them time to order parts. In June, the tech came out, and again, this fellow knew nothing about my request to have the Lennox unit serviced and he was not able to service it. Seeing my frustration, he called his supervisor and then he called the office. The tech told me the office told him the price of the parts is $430. Why was I never told this in my many attempts to get service? I can order these parts myself for $167. The tech told me that I would be getting a call from Air Experts to straighten the matter out. The call never came. So I ordered a new kit -- filter and UVA light -- and then went into the crawlspace to disconnected the unit according to the directions. I saw that the light on the front of the unit was not lit. When I opened the door on the Lennox unit, I saw 3 wires with stripped ends hanging in the air. I called Lennox to inquire about the bare wires. I gave them the units model and serial number and was told the unit was manufactured in 2018 -- a year and a half before it was installed. Then the Lennox rep asked if it was a new unit or a used unit. For that, I'd have to rely on Air Exerts -- because I certainly paid more than the price of a new unit. I imagine the system's UVA lamp has never been operational.
This company -- Air Experts -- seems to be poorly managed with a lot of poor internal communication as well as poor customer communication -- which amounts to poor service.

Air Experts were able to have someone out to my house on the same day I called and got it fixed on site. Shane got here right on time at the beginning of the time frame I was given and was very polite and professional! He was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what the issue was in less than 5 minutes. I highly recommend this company for HVAC issues.

Excellent service from Michael Hatem. My a/c system had shut down. Michael quickly diagnosed the problem and my system was working again. He then did a complete check on my upstairs and downstairs HVAC systems as part of my semi annual maintenance service I highly recommend Air experts

Very professional. They were able to tell me all sorts of information about my unit and refilled it with refrigerant for a reasonable rate.

I requested replacement of 3 outdoor spigots. Harrison and his apprentice crawled under the house and diagnosed potential problems with plumbing and very apologetically recommended an assessment to get an estimate for replacement of corroded and leaking pipes. Replacement of outdoor spigots would be included in housing pipe replacement. He also set up the appt for the free estimate. I am very pleased with his honesty and professionalism.

When called I needed to be clear that I only needed just AC maintenance not repair, and then I received an earlier appointment date. Anthony that showed up was extremely (really extremely) thorough and really nice person willing to describe all the steps and why. He did take a lot longer than expected. He did confide that he works for AE because they fundamentally want to do things right and he’s never pressured to take any shortcuts. (He also confided it’s boring and welcome sharing his descriptions.) He’s been with AE for a long time. I’m not sure how AE’s pricing compares, but they’ve been around a long time so I’m sure they’re not losing money. But the job gets done right. [yes. This is a real review.
