Reliable, reasonable and very good work.

Short Version: Ended up installing brand new system at an AWESOME price, received great service and it was done very promptly and professionally.

Longer: I've used Cape Fear before and called them to come service my downstairs A/C unit because it was cooling sporadically. Technician came out and gave the unfortunate news that my variable motor was broke and is $1500 to replace.

The system was 10 years old and had previous issues. So I went ahead and got multiple estimates for brand new system. Andy came out and gave me the best deal with multiple options/price points for a 2 stage 16 seer trane. He was awesome, not pushy at all and very friendly (I had put dogs in crate but he asked if I could let them out).

System install was done next day. I noticed that the new pad that Trane provided had a crack and felt bad asking if they could switch it out, the technicians had no issues even though it meant more work for them. Very friendly and had it up and running in less than a day.

I LOVE the new Trane thermostat that it came with. Such a better unit, connected within 10 seconds to my wifi. I have to jump through hoops to connect my honeywell 8000 to my wifi.

Can't say enough about my whole experience with Cape Fear.

Oh yeah, I asked another company about replacing the part just to see and he said that $1500 was on the low end to replace that. Great Service at a Great Price!!!

I recently relocated to Raleigh and had some work done on the house that required the carpenters to remove the toilet to lay down a wood floor. It was obvious that the wax seal had deteriorated and needed to be replaced. I researched plumbers on YELP and found that CK Plumbing had excellent reviews. I called to make an appointment and everyone I dealt with was helpful and friendly. Sean and his coworker showed up at my house on schedule, re-placed the wax ring and re-seated the toilet. The charge was what was quoted. I won't hesitate to call them again for more work, or when I redo my bathroom.

Kyle did an amazing job replacing my tankless gas water heater. Everything was done cleanly and thoroughly. Reliable and highly professional plumber at a very reasonable cost. I recommend him highly!

During an emergency call, we were told by another plumber that we needed a new pressure reducing valve. My gut told me to do my research, and I'm glad I did. Waite offered the best price of the 3 plumbers I called, accommodated a last minute schedule change to our appointment, and to top it off, they got here and discovered that we did not in fact need the new part. I am extremely grateful for their honesty and willingness to accommodate us. It's great to know there are businesses out there that are looking out for their clients.

Great job by a great crew. They were actually early for the shower replacement. Talked and walked me through the entire process. Cleaned up as they worked. The final product look as if it came with the house. Definitely recommend Axis.

David was a life saver! Today, on a Sunday, we had sewage water spewing out of the powder room toilet. He responded to us so quickly! He assessed the problem and cleared the clog completely, inside and in the crawl space. This is not the first time he has solved our plumbing problems. Excellent experience from beginning to end!! I made my first contact with CK's Plumbing about a water heater replacement online on a Saturday evening not expecting a call until Monday, but they called right away. Someone arrived on Monday to provide me an estimate, and they scheduled the replacement to suit my schedule. Everyone I came in contact with from the office staff, estimator, and installers were all extremely professional and accommodating. I would highly recommend CK Plumbing and would use them again for plumbing needs in the future!

Jason from 3rd Generation Plumbing went above and beyond to install our kitchen sink and faucet after the big name retailer (no names mentioned, rhymes with woes) we paid to install them proceeded to bungle the process for two months. He persisted in following up with said retailer and kept us informed, even while he was on vacation. Then when he was finally cleared to install the sink, he discovered that the DIY countertop tile job by the former homeowners was overextended and required additional work to trim away before the sink would fit. He dealt with this as well despite the extra time and effort involved. Final result looks great and we are very happy with it. Throughout the process Jason was courteous, helpful, and professional. We highly recommend this business and plan to use them again in the future.

My review is also not as a customer. I was driving down Lake Wheeler when a PlumberKen van pulled out from a side street and cut me off. Had to slam on the brakes. Looks like they make a habit of this based on another review. Not a great idea to drive recklessly when your business name is on the vehicle.

Customer service was great, they replaced 2 toilets and a busted (litteraly) hot water heater and figured out why one of my toilets wasn't flushing right in one day. They have easy financing available for the unexpected like this and I don't feel so stressed about how we are going to pay for everything. Everything was clear and layed out to me,, a very good experience!

Contacted Bolton to put in place a re-circulation pump on my hot water line. Frank the technician (courteous, prompt, respectful) completed the work in less than one (1) hour and 30 minutes.
The pump listed retail at $360, tubing and tee est. $50 max.
Why did the Brian the service manager proceed in charging me $1479.98 (the estimated price). Labor, disconnecting my hot water line, purging the tank, placing the pump in-line, installing a tee under my sink.
This is a prime example of a company who gouges customers, whom employs a service managers who has absolutely no people skills, and has no ability to separate logic from the non-reality.
I would not recommend this company.
I will never do business with this company ever again
I have both invoices, mails, and recorded conversations that clearly express the act of trying to take advantage of the customer.
To add insult to an already injured situation, the receptionist Kelly called me the next day of receiving the severely reduced invoice and made an attempt to collect...all the while - the payment was sent via US mail the same day of receiving the more realistic invoice.
Again, if you do not want to share my pain...avoid this company!
