If you want to hire Joe, don't make the mistake I did of calling him to ask him how long he's been installing hot water heaters before you hire him. He will take offense, accuse you of being control seeking and interrogating him and tell you you should have done your homework on his website.

Just communicate by text and maybe you will be okay. I come from a family of contractors and have never encountered this in 35 years of working with contractors on rental properties. Maybe he was just having a bad day.

They fixed a stubborn problem that others had failed to solve, and they did it for a reasonable price. In addition to their great work, they have amazing customer service! About 6 months after my sewer work I started having trouble again. They sent someone over within hours of my call and inspected the pipe. The problem turned out to be nothing but a greasy blockage. They did not charge me or make me feel at all like I had wasted their time. For this, and their quality of work, I can't recommend them enough.

Once, when we were looking into moving we walked on to a property that had an overflowing leach field. It was disgusting and we didn't know what it was at the time. River City was good about answering questions even though I wasn't about to be a customer at that point. Since then we did purchase a home with a septic system. They have been good about assessing it for us and I'm glad I know where to call if we ever end up with a leach field issue.

The men on the crew were efficient, friendly and professional. They cleaned up as they did the work. They were usually early each morning. Plus they advised me at each step of the way what they were doing and when they would be doing the work. I would highly recommend them.

My water heater wasn’t functioning effectively. Ryan descaled and flushed the unit and replaced galvanized pipes with brass fittings and stainless steel pipes. He also changed the temperature threshold so I could get more hot water. Ryan was professional, explained options, thorough and completed the work on the same appointment.

My kitchen drain had a hole in it and leaked into my basement ceiling. Call the company for the first time a man answer the phone did not tell me the company name just said hello super standoffish I asked if he can come out to check out my home he said no he can’t I asked him if he can refer to anybody he said no and hung up on me super weird I would not recommend them
