We called Joe after our water tank suddenly decided it was time to be replaced by profusely leaking all over part of our garage. On a Sunday morning mind you. Joe graciously came out that afternoon with a brand new water tank, installed it and was done in a matter of a couple hours. He answered all of our questions, was personable and very knowledgeable. We can’t thank Joe enough for saving the day and would definitely recommend him to anyone needing a new water tank or repair!

I contacted multiple water heater companies, Joe was one of the few willing to give me a price rate up front and schedule me immediately. He was timely, professional, and a super down to earth guy. Highly recommend!

My water heater failed in the middle of the night and with multiple people in the house we wanted it replaced quickly. Joe was the first and only person I contacted because he was so quick to respond and reasonably priced.

His message requested I text with photos and has a well detailed set of instructions. Following these allowed him to send me a quote within 10 minutes. He was at the house within 2.5 hours and had the job done in less than 90 minutes. The guy is a pro: well spoken, great to interact with, fast, and very reasonably priced. More people should aim to provide service like this.

Great communication via text, showed up when he said he was going to show up, did the work quickly and efficiently, at half the quoted price of a couple large plumbing companies. I would definitely call him again.

I found a big ol' leak in the water heater at 8pm on a Saturday night and Joe had the whole thing replaced by noon on Sunday. He was fast, friendly, communicative about ETA and progress, and did the whole thing himself in a dark, damp basement that is 90% spider webs, down the narrowest death trap stairs. Absolutely legendary. I couldn't be more grateful for the expediency. Would highly recommend to anybody and everybody!

Our water heater failed and we were in need of a replacement in a timely fashion. We reached out to three different plumbers for quotes and Joe provided the best combination of professionalism, responsiveness, and price certainty. We sent him a few pictures of our setup, and he provided an all in price in minutes. Others only provided starting at estimates, while informing us that the costs could go up depending on what was found when they arrived.

At 3 pm, we informed Joe of our decision to move forward with his services. By 5 pm, he and his colleague (Dallas) were at our door and ready to get started. A little over 2 hours later, Joe and Dallas had removed the old unit, installed the new one, and completed the plumbing upgrades which were required to bring our substandard configuration up to code. Joe and Dallas were both extremely friendly, professional, and top-notch craftsman.

If you want an outstanding plumber to replace your water heater at a great price, stop looking...Joe's your guy!

Joe replaced my old gas water heater within 14 hours of when I called him. He owns the shop, makes all the installs himself and does only water heaters. His pricing was great and the workmanship was stellar. I would highly recommend Joe.

My water heater started leaking over a weekend, naturally. Joe was incredibly responsive even though it was Sunday. I sent him pictures of the water heater and he gave me a reasonable quote right away, answered all of my questions, and showed up the next day when he said he would. tl:dr - Joe Water Heater is an amazing local, small-business owner that is personable, informative and provides unparalleled service at a fair price.

Longer version: I'm not big on writing online reviews, but every once in a while a business comes along that just blows everything else out of the water (pun intended). For me, Joe Water Heater LLC was that company. He is smart, personable, punctual and kept me informed throughout the entire process of replacing my water heater (and even gave tips and what to watch out for post-install and how to handle it). Prior to Joe, I called multiple companies to try to get an estimate to replace a 15 year old water heater - most wanted to charge to send a plumber out to do an estimate, then had unreasonable wait times, etc... it was a headache just trying to get a quote. I contacted Joe, he asked me to text him a couple of pictures and within an hour or so I had 3 different quotes. I selected the one I wanted, and Joe came out the next morning and installed it. Though, that almost doesn't give it justice - I'd been upfront and told Joe the water heater was in a basement (some companies charge an automatic extra fee for that), Joe said he'd done hundreds of installs in older homes with cramped stairwells like mine, and that as long as he could maneuver it in and out, it shouldn't be a problem. And sure enough, he pumped the old water heater empty, hauled it away, and installed the new water heater easy-peasy. On top of that there were some issues with the connection to the existing plumbing, and Joe took care of it at no extra charge (he said he felt bad cause he should have let me know ahead of time that there could be problems with some of the old pipe-work and wouldn't take a dime for it). I honestly can't say enough good things about my experience with Joe Water Heater LLC - It was painless from start to finish, Joe was informative, punctual, very knowledgeable, and not interested in nickel-and-dime-ing me along the way. If I ever need to replace another water heater, Joe will hands down be the ONLY call I make.

Joe is very friendly and responsive. He was good about gathering the information he needed to replace our broken water heater and have access to do so safely. He got the job done quickly the same evening I contacted him, restoring our hot water on very short notice.

Joe was helpful, professional, knowledgable, and friendly. His communication was great, and could assess my job and offer a quote quickly with a few specific pictures. I appreciated him encouraging questions, AND his prompt replies, even on weekends. His rates are very competitive, and I appreciate that since he works for himself, he isn't trying to run up the bill by selling you stuff you don't need, like technicians who work on commission for bigger companies might do.

Our water heater was on its last days so I texted and left Joe a voicemail and within a couple hours had quotes and options, which was exactly what we were looking for. Coincidentally 5 days later our water heater leaked all over the garage so I texted Joe at 8:00 am hoping to get on his schedule ASAP and he was at our house at 1:00 pm SAME DAY! He had the new tank in his truck and had everything he needed and got to work putting in the new one and hauling away the old one. He was done in 2 hours and we had hot water by 4:00 pm. Thanks Joe!

Replace water heater

One Friday afternoon, I came home to a slow drip from my water heater. By Saturday morning I had a bigger and better water heater, beautifully installed, for a good bit less than what the big stores wanted to charge. On top of the fast turnaround, fair price, quality tank, and professional install -- on a weekend no less, Joe was a pleasure to deal with. The whole process was downright enjoyable, and made me glad to support another great local business.

Joe is amazing! I reached out on a Sunday afternoon when my tenants alerted me their water heater was failing. I sent him a picture of the failing water heater and he gave me a quote by phone within an hour. He was there with the water heater within 3 hours to install it. The tenants said he did great work! This was an exceptional customer service experience!

After our water heater unexpectedly failed, we started looking around for someone to come install a new one ASAP. Joe was super responsive via text, gave us several options to choose from, explained the pros and cons of each (including extra info like whether it was made in America, how good the customer service was, ease of finding replacement parts, etc.) and was happy to answer all questions about it. He set our minds at ease about spending a large chunk of money on a new appliance and got us exactly what we needed installed much more quickly than the other companies we contacted would have. If I ever need another water heater installed, I will definitely use his services again!

Our water heater quit working in the morning and by the afternoon, we had arranged for Joe to come the next day to install its replacement. (He offered same day service, but we opted to wait a day.) Joe is prompt, friendly, efficient, and thorough. He was detail-oriented and communicative about every step of the process, from helping us choose the best replacement model, to removing the old one and installing the new water heater. We felt good about patronizing a local small business and it definitely paid off, working with someone as conscientious and professional as Joe!

If you want to hire Joe, don't make the mistake I did of calling him to ask him how long he's been installing hot water heaters before you hire him. He will take offense, accuse you of being control seeking and interrogating him and tell you you should have done your homework on his website.

Just communicate by text and maybe you will be okay. I come from a family of contractors and have never encountered this in 35 years of working with contractors on rental properties. Maybe he was just having a bad day.

Joe called me a liar and told me I was clueless, all within 5 minutes of reaching out to him for help! Really difficult to work with, could probably do with a sales person as his attitude is pretty poor.

I sent him 6 photos of the water heater, which is located in a closet making it difficult to photograph well. I attempted to speak with him on the phone to clear up the issues, and he doubled down on his accusations. It is certainly a unique approach to customer service!

I called another plumber afterwards who were at my place in 30 minutes. Don't waste your time here.

Joe did an AMAZING job! We had found out today that our water heater had been leaking, possibly for at least a day or two, and no one noticed. We called Joe based on a recommendation from a friend. Joe’s text-based communication was quick, concise, and led us to getting a quote which was fantastic. Even though we had just contacted him, he was able to come out and perform a same-day replacement of our broken water heater. He was personable and friendly which made the experience that much better. Especially since our water heater sits behind PVC pipe that can make installation of a new one more annoying than usual (you can see it blocking part of the bottom of the newly installed water heater in the picture). I highly recommend him as it was quality work for a last minute call.

I texted Joe around 9:15 in the morning and he was done with installation by 1 in the afternoon. Super communicative, gave different options and prices upfront, was one time, and super friendly! Highly recommend!!!

Although he was responsive, the quote was very high and he backed out and cancelled on us (with foul language and snarky response) because we needed him to fill out an online form for our home warranty so that we could be reimbursed. Very unprofessional. Wasted our time and our tenants are still without hot water. sigh, starting over.

Joe was fantastic. He quickly give me a quote with plenty of detail via text and arrived with my chosen heater within a few hours of our first communication. He was also hundreds of dollars less than the competition. He was a pleasure to talk to while he was working and I’ll be recommending him to anyone who asks!

Our old gas water heater was on its last legs and we had family coming to town the next day. I contacted Joe and after sending him some photos and a couple text exchanges he gave us price for the water heater and installation. It was very simple and a very fair price. Joe showed up the next morning and installed the water heater. Even though it was more complicated getting the water heater installed and up to code then previously thought he stuck with his original price. Later that day we noticed one of the fitting was dripping a little. He was back the next morning and fixed the dripping fitting. I really appreciate people that back up their work! Man I was in a pinch....I looked up the other reviews on this company and thought they sound great! I was EXTREMELY happy I did. This job was for a rental property of mine and I definitely didn't want my tenants to be without water for long. Joe was super fast. His service was amazing! I don't mean like millennial avocado toast amazing, but actually amazing! I made the call, took some pictures and he knew exactly how and what needed to be replaced.
