Rob and his son were extremely professional and responsive. We had a challenging (in my opinion) problem where we were losing water somewhere between the house and water meter. Rob came out immediately and started work shortly after that and was there for 3 days until it was done. Even after some unexpected things happened, he came up with solutions and left everything looking better than it did before. Rob is a cool dude and a good human. There is no question that this is the guy you go with.

I called Mario about a leaky main. He answered right away and said he'd come over in an hour. He quickly assessed the situation, gave us a reasonable estimate, and immediately called the locator service to come out ASAP. He came back the next day and fixed our problem in an hour or so. I really appreciated his quick response and him not trying to upsell us like the other plumbers we had called. Great service!

Tim from Standard Plumbing & Heating gave us excellent service! He was very prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and got the job done right! He was able to diagnose that the leak in our bathroom was coming from the wax seal under the toilet, replaced & repaired it. Tim also took a looked at & replaced the guts of both of our toilets, which he explained needed to be done, in an understandable way and saved us money in the long run. Tim also didn’t leave a mess big mess behind, which I always appreciate. We will definitely call them in he future for all of our plumbing needs!

Awesome service! Steve and his partner even called to let me know they had a cancellation and were able to come out right away. They finished the job within their 2 hour minimum. They showed me where Verizon had cracked the underground rain drain with their DitchWitch when installing their fiber optic cable (FIOS) to our home, and the bent piece of plastic pipe that was blocking part of the pipe where debris could clog, and a second spot where roots had also crept in through a joint in the pipe. They cleared all the roots and was able to partially bend back flap of broken pipe so that the line flows like it should. They also showed me where the pipe was cracked so I could place markers for repairing the pipe. Highly recommend these guys.

Want an honest, fast an reliable plumber?? Call these guys.
Dante came out to fix what I thought was a clogged toilet. He then gave me bad news that it was likely my sewage pump that had gone bad, which meant not using any of our plumbing downstairs. Even worse news…I have 7 people coming to stay with us over the long holiday weekend and they’re all staying downstairs! Dante said he would do his best to call around and find another pump. He came back with good news and bad news. Bad news is no pump until the following week. Good news is he was able to fix the pump, which failed due a simple electrical issue. To top off my joy, Dante said they weren’t going to charge me anything!
When does that ever happen?
THANK YOU!!

Last fall my HVAC went out on me and needed replacement. I called several companies for quotes and central air was the best price for better equipment. I was told it would be a 2 day install. It ended up being 3 days due to delays. The day of the install 2 guys showed up to do the work. right away their compressor broke while removing the old refrigerant and it took several hours to get a replacement. When the replacement came their collection canister sprung a leak. They needed to get on the roof and didn't bring the proper ladders so I lent them one of mine. They forgot to bring a safety harness for roof work, and that took several more hours to show up on sight. While doing the install I overheard a discussion about removing or not removing some of the old equipment. I reminded them that on my quote sheet it says it includes removal of all old equipment. While installing the heat exchanger base, it came to light they didn't bring any pea gravel for the base or a tamping tool for the gravel, so I gave them some of my pea gravel and loaned them my tamping tool. While installing the speedy channel/line hide they didn't bring a level, so I loaned them mine. Then one of them dropped it from about 15 feet up. At the end of the install I was told that someone from Central Air would be contacting me to set up an inspection with the city because a permit was pulled for the work that was done. I was told that the city does not always choose to do inspections, but that recently they had been choosing to.During the install while delays were ongoing I contacted the salesman via text. He did not respond to any of my texts, and I sent plenty. It would have been nice to have a contact person for issues during the install, but that's not part of the package deal from Central Air.I was supposed to get a rebate card from Lennox, but it wasn't showing up. Turns out Central Air put down the wrong address on the paperwork. It took an act of god to get it corrected. I had to contact Central Air multiple times before finally speaking to Adam, a manager, to get the address corrected. I wasted a lot of my time on the phone between Lennox and Central Air fixing their mistake. While talking to Adam, I expressed a few of the issues with the install that I went over in this review, but not all of them. Adam said there would be a meeting about what happened, but I never did receive a call back about the outcome of that meeting. I was not aware that one of the three people that helped on the install was no longer with the company as the owner has stated below.Last month I noticed the speedy channel/line hide was pulling away from the siding. I called to have warranty work done and repair it. Since the repair did not require entry to my home and I work graveyard, I asked that the repair person not contact me unless there was an issue. I got woke up to a person knocking on my door. I asked if there was an issue and he said no, he was told specifically to make sure he knocked on the door. Nice touch, thanks for the wake up. The person that came out said the screws used to install the line hide/speedy channel were way too short. Of course he only put longer screws in where it was pulling away, instead of doing it right and putting longer screws in the entire length of the channel so it doesn't pull away anywhere else latter on. Last week I noticed that the channel is coming apart where the guy replaced the screws. They said they would be out to fix it. How about just doing the job right the first time and not having to keep coming back. No one from Central Air has reached out to me about any of these issues. After all the issues during the install, I would expect Central Air to have contacted me to do a full inspection of the install to make sure there are no other issues. If, as the owner pointed out in his response to my review, the person doing the install didn't meet Central Air standards, why would Central Air think that the work performed by that person met their standards either. A full inspection is in order.

After my experience this morning it's no wonder this company has 1.7 stars. If I had a choice and wasn't going through a home warranty service I would've never used them. The man showed up 45 min late. Then went into the bathroom off the kitchen, was in there for 2 min to fix the toilet and said I need to use the bathroom I'm dancing around in here. Annoyed but fine if its #1. OHHH it wasn't #1, he blew it out. He worked HARD for #2 and the whole family heard it and smelled it as it was 12 feet away from my kids eating their breakfast. In about 10 hours, after it airs out, I'll go in with my hazmat suit to clean the toilet. Super unprofessional!
