Just recently called central air Inc. to have them come out and tuneup my furnace. The promptness and detail in every aspect of this company never ceases to amaze me. My technicians name was John, and he was very friendly and very informative. I said it before and I will say it again central air Inc. has a customer for life with me.I work for a glass company in Portland Oregon and the heat in our office recently stopped working so we called another HVAC company to come out and diagnose the problem. After first telling us that it would cost us $800 to fix it, he then came back and told us that our furnace was shot and that it would cost us around $8k to replace it. We decided to get a second opinion so we contacted the nice folks at Central Air inc. and now I wish I would have called them first. There customer service was top notch, they had a technician out the very next day. Dennis the technician was very professional and explained everything in a way that we could understand. Turns out that our furnace was not broken it just needed a minor repair, Dennis made the repairs and even set us up on a routine filter maintenance program. I highly recommend Central Air inc. they saved us from being taken advantage of. If you are having any heating or cooling problems, be sure to call them first.

My rain gutter drain was real slow. Dan found that a neighbor tree root was growing up the end of the pipe. He cleaned out the roots and flushed the pipe. Works great now. Dan was very through and told me what he was doing. I would have him work on my house again if I needed am repairs.

I cannot say enough good things about Nick, his wife Anna, and their crew. We had a pipe break during an ice storm, and I could not find any plumbers to come out to fix our main line because I think many others were in the same boat. We had no water at home, so Nick shuffled clients around to get out the same day to look at our pipe, and it was fixed the next day. They were so helpful, friendly, and professional through the process of navigating the repairs, the city inspections, and the homeowner's insurance process. Absolutely the finest professionals you could ever find!!! I had two entirely separate but very serious and simultaneous plumbing leaks right before the Christmas holiday. I did not know who to call, but the companies I first tried (using alphabetical list online) told me these were serious problems and needed immediate attention, but that they simply could not see me until after the holidays. In addition, we were having very cold weather that would have made breakdown of water heater alone a miserable experience. Fortunately, these companies recommended Detemple and I am so grateful. Brian of DeTemple came out on very short notice (working overtime to help me), and basically prevented serious damage to my home and potentially miserable problems!!! He diagnosed the problems thoroughly, quickly, and perfectly. And he then did the very best repair and replacement services for me. I highly recommend this wonderful company to everyone.

Our water heater died unexpectedly (don’t they all) and Paul was able to come out around 30 minutes after I called. He was friendly and did a great job replacing our water heater. He then made sure all the faucets worked and when a few of our sink valves got super clogged from rusty pipes, he was able to replace those at the same visit. Overall it was a very positive experience and I will definitely be calling PB plumbing again should we need a plumber.

JAM did and whole re-piping job at our home, installed a new water line from the city main, added a new drain and the basement, and more. They did a great job, we’re right on budget, and communicated superbly throughout the process. They are a small local company that I will recommend to friends, family, and clients from here on out!

Installer Dave, first wasn’t able to get the water valve turned off, ok cool, called water company, they said they would send someone. Dave didn’t try very hard cause all I had to do was spray WD-40 on the valve. 30 mins later two calls to the water company Dave unpacks his tools again and begins installation. Wedged a pipe between the wall and water heater. PDX city inspector comes out and says that’s a no no. 2nd visit FWH (Dave & helper) comes doesn’t have any information as to why he’s there, 40 mins of explaining what the inspector wants, he again squeezed blocks between the wall and water heater, PDX inspector says it’s the same proofs the pipe. Blocks need to be secured to wall, which I explained to Dave the first 30 mins. Tried to get them to resolve, but it took forever and we have renters moving in, contacted HandyMoms to correct issue. Don’t waste your time with this company, the 599$ installation wasn’t worth the agony of dealing w an incompetent company. Cost me more money !
