Best Main Water Line Maintenance in Portland OR

Would not recommend.I initially contacted 3 Mountains Plumbing to fix a clogged drain, which the managed (hence the 2 stars).The cause of this less-than-positive review, however, stems from the events that followed the clog repair, when the clog repair team and I discussed additional services that 3 Mountains offered.Over the course of the week that followed, I realized the clog repair team formed the forward advance--build trust and send in their U team (U for up-sell). Since the house in question was going on the market, I asked if they could give me an assessment on some older plumbing and whether or not they performed sewer scopes. Amazing... they offered both services but needed to send a journeyman plumber to provide a bid for the older plumbing and a guy I later named the sewer salesman.While waiting for the journeyman plumber's schedule to open up, I went ahead and scheduled the sewer scope. According to the sewer salesman, my sewer line was in terrible condition; fixing it would cost $10-15K. Given we'd never had a problem with the sewer, I scheduled a company that specialized in scoping to take a look, and who knew? They found no problems and charged less than 5% of what 3 Mountains estimated to scope and clean the sewer.Given this experience, I was less surprised when 3 Mountain's journeyman plumber came out and told me I basically needed to replumb the entire house. Included in this was the recommendation that we tear out the concrete basement floor in order to make sure all pipes were new.As long as you know your house and market repair prices (and don't let them talk you into additional services), you should be ok.

Awesome company! We had a very difficult sewer pipe repair project and David responded quickly and gave us a very fair estimate to complete based on drawings from public works. He was able to start within a week. During the project we found the city drawings were not accurate and our pipe was almost twice as long as expected. He went the extra mile to get it done on schedule and gave us a very good price for the extra 100 feet of pipe! Special thanks to David and his fine crew!

The technician answered the phone during evening hours, had me send picture of the water heater tag, and showed up the next morning with a replacement. He did a great job installing it and explained the differences and features of the new water heater. It should be noted I had called a different “24 hour service” company first that didn’t answer the phone or call me back til about noon the next day.

I've used them for a few years for grease trap maintenance and they were rarely on time. Lately, they no called no showed twice in a row. I still haven't heard back from them. Time to find a different company.

Had a slow leak detected between shutoff valve and the meter. Not an emergency. Leaking PVC pipe was about 18 underground. Terry showed up on time, outlined the likely process. He and David took care of the problem in a few hours. Met / exceeded all hopes and expectations. On time, honest, good communicators. Highly recommended. Will be our first option for future plumbing needs.

This is the second time I've had to use them for a different issue and they are always honest and do great work.

My neighbors called this company but for some reason they're blocking my driveway and when I came out to ask the driver to move the car he told me he'd be leaving in a few minutes anyway and then just walked away and disappeared. I said I needed to be able to get out of my driveway soon and I am not convinced that that matters to anyone. Furthermore I don't even see the necessity for blocking my driveway.

We contacted Steve in the morning and he came at 1:00 pm. He was friendly, sincere, and knowledgeable. He fixed our kitchen drain and gave me tips on what not to do to prevent clogging in the future. He told me up front the flate rate he would charge. I appreciate his honesty. I am glad my friend recommended him to us. We are very satisfied with his work.

We had a clog down our drain pipe for our washer and Jeff got it sorted out in a few minutes. We tried getting it unclogged with a rented equipment from Home Depot ourselves but with no success. You gotta let the professional, Jeff in this case, do what he do best.

Very nice and professional personnel. They were able to come out to our house within two hours for a septic pump that died and were able to replace it the same day. Would definitely recommend using them and we will do so again if necessary.

Bob put in a bidet for us and changed out the non working toilet parts with ones that flush great! He is the nicest guy and does great work!!! He is so good he got a tip!!!
