Best Home Maintenance in Portland OR

Our old gas water heater was on its last legs and we had family coming to town the next day. I contacted Joe and after sending him some photos and a couple text exchanges he gave us price for the water heater and installation. It was very simple and a very fair price. Joe showed up the next morning and installed the water heater. Even though it was more complicated getting the water heater installed and up to code then previously thought he stuck with his original price. Later that day we noticed one of the fitting was dripping a little. He was back the next morning and fixed the dripping fitting. I really appreciate people that back up their work! Quality work at a fair price that he stands behind what more could you ask for? Thanks Joe!

Coleman and Paul showed up earlier than predicted, surveyed the problem quickly and replaced a bad hybrid water heater with a new one on the same day within about 4 hrs. Cudos to the staff for answering the phone on my first attempt and arranging same day service. We are eternally grateful for the personal service. Jellen

David (the owner) came out to scope my sewer. He was on-time, professional, knowledgeable, and efficient! And generally good natured on top of all that - it was very pleasant to chat with him as he worked to diagnose the problem. The equipment he's using is top notch - great camera view, bluetooth, I got to watch while it was being scoped. He quickly found where the break in the sewer line was (on City of Portland's side) and so... it's actually out of our hands, they have to repair it, and he will send the video to the City. Cleanup was fast, not smelly (I mean, sewer line, you expect a little bit), and just well done. So even though this repair is on the City to do the work, I would happily work with David in the future, and encourage others to talk to Sewer Renewal Specialists first! I certainly will!

Had to arrange to have the main water line replaced. Fast service within budget.

An old plastic shut-off valve got stuck halfway through, its handle cracked. No way to open, no turning. Not repairable, just cut out and replace, but because it was sitting right next to the wall, one has to go to the crawlspace and put a longer chunk of pipe too. Not a problem for Gary with Precision. Now I can enjoy the shower and not wait for the washing machine nor toilet to stop refilling. Probably more important: with the new brass valve I can reliably shut off the water any time. Thank you Gary!

Atreyu was fast and professional. I had an idea of what was wrong- but needed the paperwork for inspection. He confirmed my issue was a quick fix I could do. No charge. Would definitely only use this company now!

Great service great prices and great Construction Services

I called Steve about 9:30 am Monday morning. He was at my house by 10:15 am, had my drain unclogged and no longer gushing water out of a pipe by 11 am. He was extremely knowledgeable and quick! I was expecting a huge bill but the cost was reasonable as well. I hope I don't need a plumber again for a long time but if I do, I know who I will be calling.

I was definitely in a pretty tough situation and It only took one call to Mike to take care of everything and get my home up and running again. Really appreciate Clark County plumbing and will definitely refer them to everyone I know.

Van on the freeway exited at the last second in downtown almost causing an accident!!!

We have a sewage pump in our basement, which failed us mid-day on a Saturday. This left the basement occupant unable to use any sink or the toilet. I went to Yelp to find a plumber. There was only one response over the weekend, from a company we didn't use. Monday Central Air Heating, Cooling & Plumbing contacted us. Their plumber came out in late morning, made a run for parts, came back and installed the pump. To that point everything was fine. Everything would be better than fine by the end of this review. Please continue reading. When it came time to test the pump the plumber found out the hard way that a coupler was loose, and he told me that he forgot to torque down the bolts. That caused grey water from the sewage pump to spray about the area. Unfortunately for the plumber, he took the brunt of the spray, which saved our food pantry almost completely. My wife, son and I spent quite a bit of time finding and cleaning what needed. I asked the plumber if there was anything his company could do to make up for the honest accident, and he talked with his boss about it. I spoke with the manager today, stating that nothing of value got permanently damaged, and I asked for a specific amount of money off the price for our inconvenience. To my surprise, the manager pretty much double what I'd asked for.Some things went incredibly well here. 1, it's VERY obvious that Central Air Heating, Cooling & Plumbing stands behind their work, and that's my biggest concern when hiring a contractor. This company aced the test. 2, The plumber himself had the integrity to say that he overlooked tightening the bolts. He even put that on a report to his boss. Integrity test aced. 3, The work itself turned out great. 4, They came out on the first business day after the pump failed.

Mike was top notch from the get-go. We found him through our home warranty company who ended up flaking on us but Mike came through. He was efficient, professional, very knowledgeable and skilled. Mike got us a new water heater, was very neat and tidy and totally competent. He arrived on time, communicated well and got the job done right. We would highly recommend him to anyone who needs a plumber!
