I'm new to Philly and John gave me straightforward and honest pricing to install a new garbage disposal and ready my kitchen for a new dishwasher. He showed up on time, cleaned up the work area when he was done, and was also really chill to hang with during the day while he worked. I called on a Sunday and they were there by 8am on Monday am. My brother had called roto rooter on sunday as well. They came out and wanted to charge me $495 to snake the sewer line. I told them to leave, that is price gouging. When Chris from Veteran Plumbing came to my property, he quickly discovered that the sewer line backup was not even coming from my property, but from the building next door. He took the time to troubleshoot and I was able to call my neighbor so he could help her. HONEST and RELIABLE! I will most certainly use them again for plumbing and hvac.

INCOMPETENT, EXPENSIVE, SLOW! I hired Plumbing Boys to fix a broken PVC pipe. They had to replace several inches of a pipe in bathroom accessing it from the wall in a bedroom. Their price was high but I was willing to pay $500, since it was an emergency situation and half of the house was left without water. They were unable to repair the pipe the first night and had to come back several times during 8 day period, since the replaced piece kept dripping inside a wall. A hole in the wall was getting bigger and bigger, and we lived without water on two floors. We couldn't bath a baby and use toilets. A small project turned into a big headache. Once during testing, they flooded the bathroom forgetting to connect the pipe on other side. Then the following day the plumber didn't show up and didn't even call. On the 7 th day another Plumbing Boy managed to fix the problem but left me with an ugly plastic wall cover, that was twice bigger than hole and didn't lie flat. I was also shocked to discover $85 charge for sink installation. They only thing they did was putting it back on brackets that held it before. They even neglected to tighten the screws. One would think that after this sink fell down and broke the pipe, it should be secured better than this. They agreed to issues a $85 refund but I've never got it.
