Veteran LLC did this amazing job! The sun room had water damage that lead to the wonderful remodel and expansion of the kitchen. They are on top of their game. Called in an Engineer on short notice for removing the support wall and calculating the correct load beam(s) needed to enlarge the kitchen. Completely rewired the kitchen with easy also upgrading to the correct electrical code. Appliances have the correct amps and breakers for each, NO more worries of running multiple kitchen appliances at once and tripping the breakers. Now the kitchen is light years ahead of the rest of the house. Veteran LLC will be my only choice for the rest of my house and future upgrades!

A very courteous gentleman took down all the information,, he gave me a window time the repair person would come.. My repair person Chris Tucker sent me a text saying he was on his way within the time frame that was given to me. Chris was very professional, and courteous, he answered all my questions and explained everything in a very patient manner. Chris even cleaned up and took the old tank with him..I was given a discount because my husband is a veteran also. I would definitely recommend this company to others. My backyard spigot had rusted and broken off when I was replacing my hose. Chris Tucker came out the same day to help me deal with the problem and did an excellent job replacing the pipe/spigot and patching the holes made to get the pipe out from my basement to my backyard. Overall very efficient and communicative - I appreciated how he took his time to explain what needed to be done. Would use this company again.

The whole experience was great start to finish I called left a message, someone was back to me within a 1/2 hour. I sent pictures of the problem they had a technician out the next day, his name is Chris he was friendly, professional, and help me understand all the issues that were going on. He really went out of his way to make sure everything was done right and making me feel comfortable about all the work that he was doing. AC wasn't cooling as much. Chris came out to perform a diagnosis after Sila had added more freon the week prior. Turns out Sila made it worse. The amount of freon in the system needs to be at factory specifications for it to perform maximally. Chris removed all the freon and added it back in slowly to titrate to factory specifications. That fixed the problem, and it cost less than the wrong but more expensive step Sila had charged for. Unlike Sila, he also was honest and didn't tell us we needed a new unit entirely (our current unit is only 8 years old!). Will use Veteran again for future maintenance/repair.

Chris from Veteran has been amazing to work with, and I will refer him every time. He has installed new HVAC equipment for us, and has been on time every time, super communicative and very kind. He is extremely hard working, and wants to make sure everything is done correctly and that you know all of the facts before going into a project. We called him about 6 months prior to hiring him/Veteran, and he was super patient with my lack of knowledge on replacing air conditioner units and took his time explaining everything to me. We decided to wait a bit to replace our system, and once we decided to go forward with the decision we scheduled an appointment with Veteran through their website. I will admit that calling I sometimes got Chris, and sometimes didn't get anyone and one time got someone different than Chris, but you really don't need to call them - they really seem to prefer you going through their website and if they need to call you they will. The appointments on the website are super easy to pick up, show all of their availability, and you can leave tons of notes to help explain what you need. Chris called that week to check in with me, and we changed the appointment around a few times to coordinate efforts with our roofer. Chris handled the coordination on his end, and was awesome the entire time. We talked about different options, he explained them super simply to me, and I trust what he has to say. When it came to doing the work Chris showed up on time, put in extra effort to try to get our systems installed in a timely manner, and showed us that he cares about his clients. We really appreciated all of his hard work and time.Contractors are very difficult to find in Philly, and my partner and I have dealt with too many bad contractors in our short time period as home owners. We are always so relieved to find a company like Veteran. Chris from Veteran is exceptional, kind, and reliable in every way.

It's taken me a while to review Veteran, but I can now speak to the highly consistent level of service I get with them! Both Kelly and Chris are very professional, and I trust them completely. We have had multiple contractors and plumbers, spent time and money, but it was with Veteran that we are getting the right advice, repairs, and replacements. Chris has excellent steam boiler knowledge which we desperately need to get ours working efficiently. We finally have consistent hot water and pressure all thanks to Veteran. I appreciate that Chris and Kelly take the time to explain things thoroughly and are honest - our house is old and has had some 'creative' updates, so it's a giant puzzle. They take the time to lay out my options, so I really feel I can make informed decisions about the work being done. They are very busy because they are outstanding at what they do, but I'd rather wait for people who are going to do the job right than to have it done wrong (which we have done in the past, and that hurts). I wish I had found Veteran sooner!

This is an update to my earlier 5 Star reviews of the work done for me by Chris from Veteran but a very significant one because it reflects replacement of my entire central air system and dealing incredibly well with a major problem. I can only give 5 stars but it deserves more!I have central air in my old 1908 condo building and the heating unit in the basement began leaking Co2, needing replacement. The outdoor unit was about 14 years old so it was reasonable to replace both at the same time with more modern technology. Big job and once it was done there were problems with the outside unit making noise under certain circumstances. Of the 25,000 units Amana built last year, 5 had defective operation, putting the odds of getting a lemon 5,000 to 1. When Chris heard the noise he set about taking out the bad unit and replacing it with a new replacement. All work was under the unit's warranty and it was a VERY big job because of the outside unit being in such an awkward location at the end of a narrow walkway.So this update reflects an incredible amount of work on his part. I looked over the specs of the unit he selected for us and it looks like an excellent choice. Everything about the job was done as professionally as I can imagine. You couldn't do better that selecting Veteran for your HVAC work.Thanks Chris! Once again, for the third time,I am really pleased with the results. Installing a HEPA filter is a pretty involved procedure and he again displayed his high level of professionalism, his talent, and his depth of knowledge. It is working very well. And he was joined this time by Kelly who specializes in plumbing. She replaced the heating element in my hot water tank and that very went well also. They are the best professionals I've ever dealt with and their billing is very reasonable as well.Continue reading but I wanted to add the above based on continued satisfaction.This is my second time using their services and both times have been outstanding. Chris was well knowledgeable and easily explained my heater system to me. He also checked for any gas leaks as a second opinion after PGW came out. I highly recommend Veterans! the prices are very reasonable, workers are friendly/experienced/knowledgeable, and they responded quickly with setting up an appointment.

Had scheduled to have well expansion tank replaced with cycle stop valve and reservoir tank. Scheduling was easy through website. The day before the project was to be installed the well pump burnt up. Called and left message on a Sunday hoping to add this to the work. Chris called first thing on Monday to say he would pick up the new pump and be a little late. He had to go to various vendors to find the right pump. Long story short, Chris worked diligently for hours to complete the repairs and wasn’t satisfied until it was perfect. Great job! Cleaned up after and answered every question I had. I am a Veteran as well and will support Veterans in the future if needed. Thanks Chris!

**As a military family, we support veteran owned businesses as much as possible.**Let's start with, I received a call the day before to discuss issues I was having with 2 cast iron radiators. The morning of the appointment, I received a text message that Chris Tucker was on his way and a link allowed track his arrival. He was masked and wore protective booties over his boots.He immediately diagnosed the issue as substandard air valves and replaced both. While we waited for the steam system to heat up, he explained everything about the radiators, including the lifespan, how the new air valves work and that the radiator can be taken apart!He also took time to explain the entire system and why the living room had a two pipe radiator. So, not only did he correct substandard work, Chris provided education.Definitely a preferred contractor now!

Veteran installed a new mini split system in my home. Chris was professional and on-time (which seems to be a rarity these days). My wife and I feel comfortable knowing that it was installed appropriately and has worked perfectly over the last 4 months or so. Next time I my HVAC serviced they'll be the first number I call.

I called Veterns Plumbing on a Tuesday evening after 7 when I couldn’t re-light my hot water heater pilot. I left a phone message and Chris called me back within 15 minutes. He spent an hour on the phone with me, walking me through possible solutions to my pilot problem. He gave me honest suggestions along with price points for my hot water heater repair. When I asked him to proceed with the repair plan we discussed and to send me an invoice for our time on the phone he stated that he helps people on the phone all the time and that there was no fee. I was truly shocked! A professional human being who gives you his time as a courtesy?!?! Not only did Kelly resolve my issue with a problematic saniflo toilet that 3 other plumbers told me they couldn’t/wouldn’t fix—she gave me valuable information about my house, how to maintain the toilet, and how to help prevent the issues from happening again. We’ve had other plumbers out to fix this toilet in the past. None ever helped me out with that info. She was professional, knowledgeable, and very thorough. My leak happened on a HOLIDAY!!!! I was expecting NOT to find a plumber that was opened or would come out in a timely manner. I was so blessed with Chris from Vetrans Plumbing and Heating. He listened to my frantic description of what was happening and was onsite in about an hour. He went over every possible place the leak could be coming from while also answering questions from the impacted downstairs neighbor. Hired Veteran to run water and gas lines for a washer/dryer and they completed the job ASAP with a cost half of their competitors. The guy that did the work was very good and professional. Got an estimate on Friday and he came back Monday to start. After running into several problems, he still worked diligently to complete the job and I couldn't be more pleased.

I had an emergency heating situation where my unit stopped working and it was close to 0 degrees outside. Chris took several hours to walk me through how to get temporary heat for my family on a Sunday! Did I mention that I called several other places but they were too busy to help me?Furthermore, he came over as soon as he had the chance to install the proper factory parts and did several hours of testing to ensure my unit was running optimally. I called on a Sunday and they were there by 8am on Monday am. My brother had called roto rooter on sunday as well. They came out and wanted to charge me $495 to snake the sewer line. I told them to leave, that is price gouging. When Chris from Veteran Plumbing came to my property, he quickly discovered that the sewer line backup was not even coming from my property, but from the building next door. He took the time to troubleshoot and I was able to call my neighbor so he could help her. HONEST and RELIABLE! I will most certainly use them again for plumbing and hvac.

Chris executed most of a job and was paid, but has not completed the work. He no-showed a confirmed appointment, and hasn't returned my calls or emails. This is a very good company. They are veteran owned and from PA. They travel to Cherry Hill where I live. They use current technology to book appointments and track service tech to your house, I hate working with company’s who don’t invest in customer service technology . The plumber was very knowledgeable and friendly. She took her time and walked me through the issue and all my options. I will keep their contact handy for any other issues.

I’m active duty military and had water damage. I needed help diagnosing the problem for insurance purposes. When other companies said they didn’t do outdoor drains or help write letters, Veteran helped correctly identify the issue and wrote up all the documentation I needed. They provided a wonderful service.

tl;dr: We called Veteran to help us when our AC broke just as temperatures rose in May 2021. The next day, they sent us Chris, who is AMAZING. He was so incredibly knowledgeable and thorough in the work that he did and so incredibly communicative, patient, and honest in his interactions with us.For context: Our apartment was 90 degrees F, and my cheapskate landlord's handy-man took 20 minutes to just look at the outside unit and tell us we had to replace the entire compressor, which was out of stock for the foreseeable future. When I called the handyman a week later and asked for an update, or at least the part number so I could order it, he said I should call the manufacturer to find out and then hung up on me.In contrast: Veteran got Chris to inspect our unit less than 24 hours after I called them, practically begging for help. Chris spent well over an hour testing the different components (inside and out) of our AC system, and came up with a specific quote for repairing the leak that caused the issue, detailing each part that needed to be fixed or replaced - note that this list did NOT include the compressor, which was, in fact, fully functional - the cost of doing so, the reasons why it should be replaced and the potential issues if we choose not to do so.My landlord was endlessly frustrating and ultimately decided that he wanted to try to find a cheaper fix and didn't want Veteran to do the repair. Chris, who had already gotten there and started the repair, was impressively patient and professional throughout the entire thing. Then, to top it all off, Chris still replaced our Freon to help us suffer less in short term. Such a good guy!If it were my choice, I would choose Chris to do the repair, without a doubt. I can't wait to give Veteran my business when I can afford to stop renting and buy a home. Chris and the folks who handle scheduling at Veteran are incredibly efficient and effective, and I simply cannot recommend them highly enough.

Wow! I could not be happier with the service. Chris came out late at night-and quickly diagnosed and fixed my problem and also instructed me on how to prevent the problem. Very reasonable and professional.

We have had Veteran out to our home twice now. First time was for a service on our 20 year old A/C. Chris came out for the service explained everything in depth, we ended up needing to replace our fan. Chris didn’t try and sell us a new unit like I know most companies would have done in the same situation. Chris was on time, efficient and the most knowledgeable HVAC guy we have ever encountered. The 2nd time out Chris and Kelly came out to install duct work in our attic that was missing. Again, both were on time, knowledgeable and the work was done as expected. Veteran definitely goes above and beyond. We will use again and have already recommended to family and friends.

Super pleased with my experience with Kelly from Veterans. She showed up right at 8 am, was very friendly, and took time to explain everything and answer all my questions. She gave me an estimate to patch my 100 year old cast iron pipe. Once she started working the pipe deteriorated more so she wound up being here all day but did not charge me extra labor for that! The days of horrible plumbers are over. Book Veteran Plumbing online and you are set. We had a clogged drain that previous plumbers could not unclog. Veteran Plumbing sent Kelly out to fix it. It was a trick clog but Kelly tackled it. She was patient, reassuring and neat and tidy. Kelly was a pleasure to work with, she trully knows plumbing. She is now our go to plumber. It was a complete pleasure working with such a knowledgeable plumber. The cherry on top was not only that she fixed it but she was so neat and considerate of our space. Thank you Kelly!!!

I live in Camden, NJ. Every plumber/technician that I called did not service in my area or were not certified for Navien tankless water heater products. I had an extremely difficult time finding someone to fix my water heater, until Chris & Kelly came! They identified the problem, worked with the manufacture to receive my parts that were still under warranty & fixed my unit. I couldn’t be more glad to have found them. Had an emergency at my theater, Playhouse West-Philadelphia over the weekend, with a play coming up and no heat in the building. I called over 15 heating repair companies, but none could do the job that day. Of the ones who could make it the next day, most wanted a huge emergency call fee. Veteran Owned answered the call and came out the same day, a Sunday morning, within 2 hours of my call. They also fixed the problem within minutes, no high emergency fee, and Chris, the repairman, took the time to assess the whole heating system and gave great advice on how the system was meant to work and how it could run better. As usual, veterans answer the call and do it with integrity, going above and beyond the call of duty. This company will now be the only company I call for service.

Same day appointment, Chris arrived within the stated window. Quickly fixed everything and cleaned up after himself. Couldn't be happier.

The most important things to me when selecting a service provider are that I have confidence in their expertise and that I have complete trust in their recommendation about what needs to be done. I don’t want to be wondering whether they are, for example, telling me I need a new water heater or HVAC system when in truth the existing one can easily be repaired for a much lower charge. Veteran Plumbing and Heating is that company. They won’t sell you something you don’t need, and they have the expertise to get it done right the first time. They are also Veteran owned and operated, and I like to support our brave soldiers who put their lives on the line for us. Chris Tucker was the technician I dealt with, and he was extremely knowledgeable, patiently explained how my HVAC system worked, did not talk down to me as a woman, arrived on time, and was respectful of my home (wore paper booties over his shoes). I now have a new HVAC and plumbing person, and could not be happier.
