Mike came by and looked at our issue. What we thought was a clogged drain was actually plumbing not up to standards. John and his crew came out and worked from the basement to access the main floor plumbing. They carefully cut out drywall to repair. They took the time to show me what the issues were and was able to resolve. The drains are working perfectly now. Mike was friendly, professional, and prompt. John was professional and cared about the job they were doing and kept the mess to a minimum. Our drywall repair guys stated they don't often see such careful access through the ceiling. I was able to reuse the original drywall and had it repaired with minimal effort from the drywall crew. I would highly recommend Mike and John at Micro Plumbing to my friends and family. We discovered a pipe leaking in the basement on Dec 23rd... just in time to interrupt all the Christmas wrapping and presents I was trying to hide from the kids! Uggh!! Birge plumbing had someone out to our house within 2 hrs, even though they were already very busy. We are so thankful for their quick response and successful fix of the problem.

Went to a big name company and got a quote to replace our water heater (it was 22 years old!) 4000 to 5000$. Called Major Drain for an estimate. They did it for 1/4 of that price. Their technician was so kind, thorough, and friendly. It was such a great experience. Will definitely be using Major Drain in the future!

Gentlemen came out, assessed our situation, and installed what was needed in a timely fashion. They were professional, personable, and informative. I strongly recommend JP Plumbing and if needed in the future, will be my go to for plumbing needs.

I definitely won’t recommend.
My building manager got them to fix my kitchen sink. It was a work day so I came in 15 minutes before the guy so that I can open my apartment and I left to go back to work before he came.
I came back about 15-20 minutes after the guy left, the kitchen sink was fixed, but I noticed something weird in the bathroom, someone had been in my bathroom, left the toilet seat up and used the towel I use for my body to clean up something they spilled on the floor, I called the guy and of course he denied it.
When I called a second time, the guy confirmed that no one else had come into my apartment and I returned shortly after he left.

I know my toilet seat didn’t lift itself up, and the towel didn’t just magically fall on the floor and magically soak up some liquid, because I hung a smaller towel on top of it and that one was roughly tucked into the towel holder, while the other one was on the floor. If the towel fell, the one on top should’ve also fallen. Also there was no leakage of any form on the floor of my bathroom so where did the liquid come from? I used the bathroom before I went back to work so I know that’s not how I left it.
I found the whole ordeal very disgusting and disturbing.

After calling 4 other general contractors, Handyman Connection was the only place that actually returned my call in a timely manner. They came out and did an estimate quickly. They scheduled our appointment in a reasonable amount of time. The work was done well and the contractor seemed very knowledgeable, was professional, and very nice. I would highly recommend this company.

They sent over a technician who literally went above and beyond -- he scaled the roof to figure out whether our backup was caused by a venting issue! He was very knowledgeable, thorough and fixed the problem without a hitch. Call Backlund next time you need a plumber!

These guys are nice, on time, and they don't charge for things you don't need, and they can put you on the payment plan, they bill you for what they did, these guys are awesome.

I always use local guys and not franchises if I can help it. I have a rental in Benson so I called Dundee. The man seemed to not like his work and complained that it's hard to make a living. He billed for an hour and a half when he was here just short of one hour. He asked what time he had started and I told him, then he billed me incorrectly anyway. Not impressed in any way.
