Handyman Connection's Master Craftsman Ed did a superb job of finishing the Egress window I had installed. It was a mess. Now it looks beautiful. 5-star rating.

Handyman Connection did a great job for us! We needed our master closet ceiling replaced and can lights installed. Jim, our handyman, was so knowledgeable and personable. He even suggested options that would reduce our cost and be better longer term.

I worked for Handyman Connection of west Omaha for about 3 months. Two of the three months I was never paid. I got a series of 8 weeks of bounced checks with no reimbursement. The owner Reid continuously made excuses on why checks bounced (horrible customers, horrible franchise, desk girl) and promised pay was coming the following week until I was unable to come to work any longer due to months of fees due to not being paid.

I worked beside the co-owner Cal, full time for two months while he just blamed the homeowners of Omaha that they just can't pay on time. as an excuse on why the buisness couldn't pay me.

This company has been a financial disaster of employment. I am not the first employee this has happened to. I would never ever suggest anyone to spend their hard earned money with this company. They don't respect the hard working people who work for them as well as their customers.

If you feel like you're getting the run around or ghosted from this company it's because you are. They are horrible buisness people and humans in general.

John with Handyman Connection does great work. He rebuilt sections of our courtyard entry and installed drip edge to avoid future water damage. We would recommend using this company in the future.

They responded quickly, came on time for appointments, installed 3 faucets and shut off valves with no messes, and they were friendly yet professional. They exceeded my expectations, the prices were fair, and I would use them again for any project.

From the beginning this was a wonderful experience. I have had terrible luck in the past with contractors and such but Handyman Connection of West Omaha made the process easy. They came out and gave me a quote for my job and followed up with me during my decision making process, never pressuring me, but always available to answer any questions. Ricky, my handyman, was hands-down incredible. I will request him again for future work. My job took 6'ish days and he always arrived when he said he would. He was polite, respectful and skilled. Anytime there was a question (on his part) on how I would want something done, he communicated directly with me. I also worked closely with Amber for scheduling and payment. I didn't make scheduling easy on her and she never made me feel high maintenance. I will definitely use Handyman Connection of West Omaha in the future and would highly recommend their work, professionalism and integrity to my family and friends.

I had lvp flooring installed to replace carpet and sheet vinyl in multiple rooms. James H did a fantasic job. The work looks amazing. All questions were answered clearly. Clean-up was done during and after installation. James has a very positive personaltiy and went as far as to try to avoid disturbing my aging dog. I highly recommend Handyman Connection for any project. I already have several in mind.

We called Handyman Connection looking for someone to repair my elderly mother’s concrete wall. John did the work for us in 98 degree heat! From start to finish John gave us great communication on the progress complete with photos since we don’t live in Omaha. He did a great job and we are very pleased with the whole experience. Amber is top notch also, very pleasant and helpful!! Highly recommend

Since buying our first new home this year, we have had many people over helping us make repairs to the home. James with Handyman Connection originally came just to install an exhaust system but ended up turning a idea for a Cigar and Whiskey Room that we had into a reality. He did a fantastic job turning an idea into a place we can entertain our family and friends while enjoying some fine whiskey. Very responsive, done in a timely manner, and genuinely cared about our vision we had for this room. He gave us many ideas that we implemented into the design. The best experience in remodeling our home so far! Thanks you guys!

After calling 4 other general contractors, Handyman Connection was the only place that actually returned my call in a timely manner. They came out and did an estimate quickly. They scheduled our appointment in a reasonable amount of time. The work was done well and the contractor seemed very knowledgeable, was professional, and very nice. I would highly recommend this company.

The first time I used Handyman Connection was absolutely amazing, the workman came in gave me a bid and scheduled to do the work. We even asked for a bid on another project and he gladly gave us one. The work to be done was to take a day and a half. After the first day he was 85% done and was scheduled to come back the next day. For whatever reason he didn’t come back, so we had to wait for a handyman to become available to finish, after 2 missed appointments ( there was always some excuse) we finally got someone here to finish the work. So, now today I take the day off work to have someone come in and bid a job and once again, another excuse of why they make it. I would not recommend this company they are not very reliable. Their craftsman may be good but the scheduling department needs some improvement.

After talking with the owner of Handyman Connection, he wanted to see how he could help clear up any issues that I had with the scheduling. Dave is a great guy with a great company and we were able to discuss my disappointment and come to a mutually beneficial solution to the problem. He really cares about his clients and it shows that he is willing to go above and beyond to make sure they are satisfied. I’m improving this review from a 1 star to 5.

Brad replaced broken wooden fence post and did a good job!

I had a host of projects for which I hired Handyman Connection: replacing the front door threshold, replacing the patio door, replacing some siding, installing new bathroom faucets, etc. The owner Dave Fisch came out and was very clear about the proper way to make the repairs including what was necessary to be inline with city codes, which gave me confidence that they would not cut any corners. The work was performed by Ricky Herr, who did a great job. Ricky indicated that he was going to treat our house the way he treated his own house. Ricky lived up to his philosophy. I am demanding for having the work done the right way and Ricky was very patient with my requests and performed the work the way I wanted it. He even came on a Saturday because I was trying to get work completed before my painter came to paint the exterior. Ricky is also a very likeable nice person. Finally, Amber the scheduler was excellent to deal with as I tried to get worked finished before my painter was scheduled to come. Overall it was a great experience from a very professional organization.

I worked with Dave and Andrew on a basement repair. They were great to work with. Andrew is very professional and very detailed. His professionalism is unmatched. He communicated everything concern or issue that came up. Additionally, his work is outstanding. He didn’t just hurry up and be done, he looked it over several times and had me look at it too. My basement looks like nothing happened. I would hire Andrew again on future projects.

Repairing Klearvue cabinets and did an amazing job aligning and connecting them to the wall. 5 stars.

I couldn't figure out how to write a new review, so I'm adding to my previous review. June 5 - We are getting a rental house ready to sell, and had this company do the work we needed done. This is the third time we've used them, and we are completely happy with their work. Tim Y. once again did our drywall repair and painting and I have never seen such a tidy painter. There are no drips or splatters anywhere! And the job got done earlier than expected! UPDATE: July 28 - We are getting a rental house ready to sell, and had Handyman Connection do the work we needed done. We've used them before and were happy. Tim Y. once again did our drywall repair and various painting projects, installation of a door for a master bath, and some caulking. We were on a tight time schedule to get the house ready for showing, and Tim came on Saturday and Sunday so that it would be done in plenty of time. He just finished up this morning, and we couldn't be happier. We will go to them when we need a handyman again!

Reid added a beautiful roof extension over our stairway landing to our house, and at the time I was quite confident I would be leaving a much more positive review. The problem has come in the aftermath. Handyman Connection boasts a one year warranty, part of the reason we chose them for this work. There are several (5 total) touch up things that have been needed since the date the work was completed, some being minor cosmetic things and others being major potential water damage things. The work was finished about 3 months ago, during which time I have had work scheduled but then rescheduled before the time came, I have had times when the work was supposed to get done that I simply received no follow up for and no one came, and the issues have been largely ignored except for when I actively call/text to try and get someone to come fix them. I understand that the company is very busy at this time, but 3 months feels excessive, and it feels like these fixes, that shouldn't take more than a day I wouldn't think, are being grossly deprioritized. These issues have the potential to get worse if left undone over the winter, and I am increasingly concerned that that may not happen in time. Overall, the experience since the day the work was paid for has been unprofessional and frustrating, to say the least.

EDIT BASED ON BELOW RESPONSE: I am still waiting on several things to be fixed. Their craftsmen came and addressed a couple things and left a couple more unfinished, and have recently not been returning any calls or texts to try and get the rest of the work finished. This has been so frustrating, I was originally happy with their work and now I have to say I can't recommend this company in the slightest due to the follow through on these last few items. I was hoping by now to be able to update this review that the issues are fixed, and am very disappointed to have to update it with the opposite.

Handyman Connections and Jim H did great work. Replaced leaking bathtub and multiple other projects. Replaced can lights, door locks, fixed tile and woodwork plus other jobs. Quite impressed by the craftsmanship and desire to get things done right. Jim offers great suggestions and has a wonderful personality. .

I had a scheduled appointment for someone to give me an estimate at 530pm today. I called and text at 600pm asking if they were still coming. I didn’t get a response at all. I definitely will not be using them or referring them to anyone I know. It’s not professional to schedule an appointment and not show up or have the courtesy to inform me that you will not be able to make it or that you would be running late. Hell even if you were no longer interested in giving me an estimate.

I recently had a window replaced . The window was installed without any problems, but there was an issue with the interior staining. Dave and Amber were excellent in seeing that the problem was solved and sent Ricky H. who did a wonderful job fixing all the issues. I am very pleased with the end results. Thanks, everyone.

I can’t say enough about this business. After interviewing many contractors for the job, they were the best value, courteous and most responsive from the estimate process to scheduling to completing the work. I personally recommend our craftsman John D as he did a phenomenal job on everything from our plumbing install, to doors & trim and brick repair. Call them you will not regret it!

I'm 70 years old and have been using repair services a long time. These folks are the absolute best I can recall - including all trades and repair services. Dave was prompt in coming to the house to provide an estimate. I had obtained one before his, and his was significantly lower. Carolyn and Amber, who coordinated appointments and managed the project were incredible in their promptness, friendliness, and efficiency. Working in times for the repairman to be there was smooth. They could teach customer service. Scott, who did the work was a true professional who paid close attention to his work and did what I would consider to be a perfect job of ceiling drywall repair and texturing, as well as painting one area. While I don't really want to have any other need for repairs ever in my life, there is no doubt that I will go directly to them and not even concern myself with another estimate should I need work done. Thank you folks for being so good.

Ricky Herr was the person that arrived to look at the problem I was having with the gate for my vinyl fence. He gave me a couple different options for taking care of the problem. I chose one and he prepared an estimate while he was here. I received a call from the dispatcher within 10 minutes and set up a time later the same day to do the work. Ricky came back and did the work and then had me observe what he had done and approve it. He was knowledgeable, personable, and professional throughout the entire project. I would definitely recommend this company for projects you can’t do yourself.

Excellent work across many trades. Had old tub removed and new installed as main project. They carefully removed the old not damaging the the tile which was key and saved us thousands. Bathroom looks better now than original.

Did electrical work and fixed many other minor issues. James is fantastic with great attention to detail. He does quality work and is very versatile.

A while back our basement flooded and I had to have some waterproofing done. I then tried to take on the task of refinishing my basement myself. I got about 90 percent of the way done and ran into some rather large hurdles and my only 'helper' had to drop out. So in comes Handyman Connection. Amber was a delight to get someone out ASAP and Scotty was the absolute best to work with. Gave me an affordable estimate and was able to overcome every hurdle we ran into before. He was also very accommodating and personable!

His work, and I cannot stress this enough, was absolutely fantastic. I hope everyone gets a chance to have him on their projects. I will definitely be coming back for future projects. Great work by all involved!

We needed a sliding door replaced and contacted Handyman. The price was fair and the work by John was professional and impressive , especially considering that he was working in Winter weather conditions. The best thing I can say is “the work done was thorough”

Everyone was great. We needed some siding added to the back of our house. John, our technician was thourough and kept me in the loop about all decisions. Amber was great with frequent status and communication on when the work would be done. Just outstanding.

DO NOT HIRE: We have been working with Handyman Connection since September for an entry way update to our home. Despite the initial work being done very well, there are several aspects of this project that remain unfinished. My husband has been following up with Handyman Connection almost daily in an effort to have these pieces completed. Handyman Connection assures us they will come out to complete the work and then no call no show. I can't even count how many times this has happened over the last three months, and every individual event makes planning our work days extremely difficult when we are no longer completely able to work from home. At this point they have completely ghosted us and are no longer responding to either texts or phone calls. Lesson learned - don't pay a contractor until the project is 100% finished, no matter how trustworthy they seem, and do NOT work with Handyman Connection.

Ricky did an excellent job replacing my over the range microwave.

I had an appointment and they never showed. Called and spoke to someone set up a new appointment and they didn't show again. I guess small projects are not important abd they don't want the business.

Multiple calls, talked to a few people regarding repairs. i gave up after 3 calls. I highly doubt their reviews are legitimate.

I contacted this company to address small list of repairs. The call was smooth and the appt was scheduled in the next week. The repair person was pleasant and on time. I needed to replace the bottom guides on two bypass sliding closet doors and hang a new bifold closet door at our back entry - plus three other items.

The repair guy was able to complete the first two items at the initial visit with a promise of a bid for the other three. The new guides were installed quickly and correctly. I received the bid for the other items in a very timely manner.

The problem was with the bifold door. I had purchased the door, stained and finished it myself. I knew it was about an inch longer than the original door and would need trimmed. When the repair person cut the door he neglected to protect the finish with masking tape and the laminate chipped off and the cut was not smooth or straight! (And he installed the door knob several inches higher than any door handle I’ve ever seen?!) After I said I was disappointed he did apply a discount.

I wouldn’t have this person do any type of finish work. We probably won’t have this company again. Only based on the quality of the work. Everything else was fine!

The whole team was a pleasure to work with. David gave a detailed Estimate and Amber did a great job scheduling the work. A supplier was late with delivery of a door system, but this didn't keep John D. from proceeding with siding and stone work we needed done. John's skills are second to none--all his work was done in a highly professional manner. The job is now finished and we are very pleased with the work performed by Handyman Connection. Highly recommend them for home repair.

After getting off to a rocky start, mainly communication issues, my projects were handled quickly, efficiently and to my expectations. Clyde was the handyman who did the repairs. He was personable, knowledgeable and thorough. The price was reasonable and I would use handyman connection again in the future, particularly Clyde.

Andy came out and performed some gutter work. Done quickly and without any fuss. Dave and Amber were great to work with. Will have an interior door installed soon.
