Best Remodel Plumbing in Nashville TN

I am very disappointed with Republic Plumbing. I was excited to work with them as I saw great reviews and was referred by another local company. I was quoted for a sewer line repair, which after breaking ground we realized I had a septic tank and not a sewer. He then filled back up the hole and was on his way. Both Andy & Randy were friendly, but it was such a poor value and over priced. I was charged $1,100 for someone to dig up a hole and then fill back in the hole. This process took 4.5 hours of work of just digging, as he didn't have the proper equipment.
They used a saw to cut into the asphalt and I was charged for a saw rental, as well as an added service fee. The saw was dull and not working, which I was told at the time by the plumber. You would assume they would have the proper equipment to do the job. I then had to hire another company come out to investigate further. They dug a much bigger hole with the proper equipment and it took 30 minutes (compared to the same thing taking 4.5 hours with a hand shovel). Do not hire this company, it is a complete rip off with poor communication. Andy did discount my bill and took off an hour of work, but I am still left with a $900 bill of just having a hole dug and then filled back in poorly.

The plumbers did a very thorough job determining why our sewer backed up and fixing the problem.

Rocky Top Plumbing is awesome! We were in our house for two years and had no clue where our septic tank was buried. Alex came out and found it in 2 minutes. Very professional and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend.

Once again, Lee Company shows why we keep using them. We have the maintenance plan and they’re always on top of keeping everything in our home running perfectly. This time, I had a home surge protector installed and also asked about adding outlets to my garage. Not only did they do it for a fair price, they did it all the SAME DAY! This is my first time to post a review on a business in the same industry area of owning a buisness in. Always had a policy not to critique other contractors or subs work. Since Scott didn't do any work for me I can't critique his work. I can critique his statements and procedures. Called Scott and left a message he did return the call in a timely manner. We talked about the project that might be built after the buyers close on their new home. He agreed to come look at it and give me an estimate and the possibility that it could be done. I did relay to him an inspection would need to be done before closing on the 25th of this month. I was very clear about it was just to look and see if the project would be possible to do. Scott asked me how I heard about him. Told him Goggle and we joked about his low review score. He went further to say it was one guy that wouldn't let it go and even further to accuse the same of bad reviews on several other purchases and services. Basically gave him a bad review back. Shame on me for not thinking about what was about to happen. We confirmed last night address and time to meet. Again it seemed ok. Following is the text exchange after I had left my home one hour away from the project Scott and I were meeting this morning.

Good morning Rob, the septic inspection is 495.00 and payment is due when inspection is complete. Please let me know yea or nea so I can move on to next job. Thanks. Scott

No inspection today. Just need to see if the tank can be moved or replaced in order to expand the living space.

I do. I've been doing this for 47 years and never charged to look nor paid. I have two other appointments today with septic companies. Go ahead and start your other job. Sounds like you need the money anyway. Thanks for considering.

Now I will close by saying, in my opinion Scott, no you can't run a buisness this way. Just like you lost this opportunity you will continue to lose more. For your information I have been to this same location several times traveling the one hour distance and haven't mentioned money to the client one time. I'm sure though by doing what my customer wants me to do I will get this opportunity. By the way in the same 47 years not one ad placed nor do I have buisness cards and letterhead. I'm more than busy and not one day have I had to look for work. More referrals that I can accommodate. Two things Scoot and I will be done. Be careful of what you say. Be careful of what you don't say in business is the way to run a business. Successfully!!!
