A friend of mine, Charlie Warren, recommended Wayne at Grassland Plumbing to me. Wayne came to my house to look for any leaks. We had thoroughly checked everywhere and there was not any sign of a leak. We didn't see or hear anything. We have had high water bills totaling over $1000 in the past 2-3 months and the water company replaced our meter about a month ago. The individual who replaced it mentioned that one time he was here to check it (I was not home) and the needle was moving and he thought it was very possible it was intermittently malfunctioning. After he replaced the meter, this past months bill is now normal, $62. Wayne, from Grassland Plumbing was here two days ago and checked everything. He checked the hot water heater, he checked the cold water line and the hot water line, he looked around the house, he checked each bathroom and each toilet, he checked by turning on and off the water from the inside and the outside meter, he checked everything. He said there is not a leak in my house and there is not a leak under the slab or anywhere! He told me that in his opinion, the old meter was causing my high water bills. Wayne was very nice and thorough and I appreciate him checking everything! Thank you!

He made it my job a priority, however, and called me later in the day to see if he could sneak me in when he ended up finishing a job early. He fixed my problem quickly and the price was reasonable. Tried to sell us new water heater for many thousands of dollars for what turned out to be $100 parts and labor from a different company. Our waterheater works like a top. I complained to BBB and wrote a.negative review. I can't recall ever writing a negative review about anything. I felt compelled.

Throughout most of our lengthy project, Wayne was great to work with, friendly and professional. On the final day of work, we asked his son to come in before he left to fix a small leak we and our carpenter had all seen under the sink he had just installed. Instead of trying to address the issue, the man got very defensive and refused to acknowledge a leak and began to take a disrespectful tone toward my wife. When she asked him politely to please calm down, he lost his temper completely, and proceeded to scream obscenities directly into my face from a very aggressive attitude, literally threatening me. We demanded he leave our house, which is an absolute first, not just on this project, but in my entire life. I will never allow a representative of Grassland Plumbing on my property again.

Your response is interesting but unsurprising, in that we already suspected you would eventually expose yourself as a delusional liar as well as a hot-head. If get out of my house isn't getting kicked out, I don't know what is. You can look at other reviews here and elsewhere that describe a pattern of exactly this kind of behavior. Nobody that reads this will have seen your behavior here, but I know exactly what happened, as does the other service provider that was here to witness it. You need help, buddy.

Josh and Wayne have taken great care of my family as well as clients of ours for the past 7 years. At my personal home they've done all of our plumbing (rough ins and trim outs of three bathroom renos & a kitchen, as well as a flawless tankless water heater conversion). They've handled service calls for clients and on my rental property with care. They show up when they say they will and do what they promise.

I am extremely saddened by the treatment I have received by the son who works at this company. He has been rude, misleading, threatening, and generally inappropriate. When I called to express my concerns with him not completing the full scope of work but still charging me full price (contrary to what he had quoted me)... he got very defensive, he lied about the amount of time he spent on the job, and then he “promised” to put a lien on my house (even though I never said anything about not paying my bill). He finished the conversation with “you’ll be sorry”. Truly scary in this day and age.

Disagreements and misunderstandings happen, but this behavior should NEVER be acceptable.
