As a local builder for 23 years, my advice is to call Hiller. Had a blockage after hours, my plumber sub does not do clogs. He advised I call RotoRooter, I did, they had a tech call me, couldn’t understand him, wanted me to diagnose the issue (had I been able to do that as a builder, I would not have called them). Quoted 731.00 to come take a look but didnt really seem to want to come out. Since it was a critical issue of flooding flooding floors, poo backing up into sink, and the RotoRooter guy clearly not wanting to come out even with after hours charges, I called Hiller. With in 45 minutes they were here, at 10:45 pm, and had the issue fixed in 20 minutes for 292.00.

Wesley Covert and his son are delightful! After dealing with a handyman service for weeks I called them to fix a small leak in my bathroom sink. Wesley returned my call promptly and made an appointment for the next day. They found a couple other issues that I wasn't made aware of with the sink and fixed them as well. Their number is stored in my phone and will be in my recommendation list for others! Thanks Wesley!

Can't praise Michael's Plumbing enough. The water heater on the 2nd floor of our house died and flooded the guest bedroom on the first floor. This was the 2nd water heater in 13 years to flood that room, in spite of our best precautions to set up safeguards. Jason assessed our water system and suggested we install the tankless water heater in the basement and eliminate the water heater on the 2nd floor. We had never thought of that! We are so pleased with the installation by Andrew and Shawn. Including the woman who answered the phone, every employee of Michael's Plumbing was respectful of me AND my property.

I called Morton plumbing and told them that my water line was backed up and that I needed help that same day. No commodes were working, the kitchen sink was backing up, and the bathtub was backing up, so they knew the problem before they arrived.

They were nice enough to work me in that day, but when the technician arrived, he checked everything and told me I had a major problem. He also told me (after calling his office) that their equipment was not available to clear my sewer line, and that it would not be available until the following week (which was in about 4 days).

I could not wait that long since I had no working commodes in the house. I asked the technician if I should call RotoRooter or another plumber, and he said yes, and that he would call Hiller. I told him I was a Hiller customer but did not call Hiller initially because I thought they were very expensive and I had heard good things about Morton's.

So, bottom line, the Morton guy left, and then I was billed a $49 dispatch fee. I don't mind paying the dispatch fee if I was offered the option of Morton's do the work. But they were not able to help me that day.

When I called their office to ask if the dispatch fee could be waived, the woman who answered the phone kept interrupting me and said that her guy told me what was wrong so that I could call another plumber and tell them was what wrong. She talked over my attempt to speak and would not let me talk without interrupting. She said that I was told about the dispatch fee in advance (I don't remember being told about it) and that everyone was billed that fee and it had to be paid if I chose another service. The only reason I chose another service was because Morton's did not have the equipment available. And if I told him in advance about all the issues I was having, why did he come to my home if he did not have the equipment to fix it?
So, my complaint is poor customer service, and having to pay a fee when they were not able to do the work due to their lack of equipment.

We had an issue that ended up much more complex than anticipated and required them to stay several hours past the end of business and then return again the following day for several more hours. They never stopped smiling and stayed pleasant the whole time. They didn’t give up and managed to fix the problem for us! We highly recommend them!

I just love this team from Mid 10! They are so friendly when I call. They are always on time if not a little early. There work is fabulous/well done.

John Krauss was very professional, he replaced my kitchen faucet and worked on the drain in my bathroom and fixed the stopper in the sink in the spare bathroom. He kept me informed on what he was doing. Will definitely use them again as I will have a couple of more projects down the road.
