Brian from the St. Paul, MN location was great. My shower drain wasn’t flowing properly and within 30 minutes he had the drain cleaned out and draining like new - No more showering with water up to your ankles! I live in a condominium so someone lives below me and he took the necessary protocols to ensure the backup didn’t affect them. Knowledgeable man and would recommend Brian with Roto Rooter to anyone in the Twin Cities area.

Had someone come out to figure out some electrical issues at my house a few months back. The service on the phone was professional, the person who came out was punctual and professional, but they figured out nothing. They chalked up some lights being dimmer and flickering to the grid throttling power to the house, which I doubt. They did a good job explaining, but they also rambled throughout the process. This turned a 20-30 minute job to a 65 minute job, where they charged two hours for. I feel like I just threw away $300.

Northern Plumbing and Softening were outstanding! Mason was our onsite installer, he was on time, very professional and answered all of my questions, offered thoughtful ideas and answered my Wife’s questions too. It’s very obvious to me that Mason is very capable, knowledgeable and was just pleasant to have come to our home to replace our water softener.

Our Sales Rep was Jon Lund and he is very knowledgeable and professional as well, with many years of experience. He was very timely and efficient at getting us scheduled for repair at our cabin up north.

And yes I’d highly recommend them to friends and family!

Worst experience. Did not show up first two scheduled 10 hour windows. Multiple trips and non value add services required. Had to follow up numerous times with customer service and techs. Discount was offered but only 10% off large jobs. Let large hole in wall.

Called TJK to get an estimate on repairs needed to my house. I knew there was some stuff that needed work, but I didn't know how much. They sent someone out the same day that I called. Josh was really thorough and took the time to check the entire property. He explained what was what and helped me prioritize what to take care of first, since my budget isn't massive. I didn't feel like I was getting a hard sell, just a careful and clearly explained list. Would definitely recommend working with them.

I had my floor drain back up into my laundry room. I contacted Roto-Rooter and specified using a camera to inspect this line and the main line and then clear them out. I again verified this when the techs arrived. When I asked what they found they said they did not know. I asked what the camera showed and they said they did not have a camera.The drain is now draining, so that part is good, but I'm a little irritated that I did not get my lines inspected pre or post cleaning to know what it looked like down there.Update:The company contacted me and wanted to send a technician out to perform the camera inspection of my lines. Jesse came out and he was great. He is very personable. It showed my floor drain and main line to be completely patent and in great shape. The initial drain cleaning did the job and now I have proof it all looks good. Thanks!

Scott was our technician. The water heater installation went smoothly and the unit is functioning well. There was a discrepancy in the city codes and the CO exhaust line. Scott was straight-forward with solutions, and did the legwork coordinating with the inspector; I can't thank him enough.Andrew was his apprentice and he did a great job as well; attentive and thorough.

I mainly called this service to install a new Kraus drop in sink; not a big deal, they quoted $450-700 over the phone with a basic sink install. Then they said $942 for an install with a sink that we already purchased. Just labor!!!

I could change out the shower heads and handles in both bathrooms myself as it’s pretty much screw on and off, but the estimate came back at $1,425 for one bathroom with the valve replacement. Again, all the parts already purchased. The valve was super easy to get to, with the Sheetrock on the other side held on by 1 screw.

The downstairs I did in 15 minutes myself. They wanted $375.

Don’t use this service, my wife was the one that answered the door and they just ripped her off assuming she didn’t know anything about pricing.

I paid $69 for the estimate, they should pay me back for me wasting my time with their bait and switch,

I I was never so disappointed with this service. Did the bait and switch on me and charged me doublefrom their add. More importantly he didn't unclog the sewer line. Had to call drain busters to do it properly
