John H. was very helpful and a stand up guy... He had every opportunity to take me to the cleaners, but didn't.

I called early in the week to schedule a plumber to come to my house and fix a leak. The window was 12pm-1pm Friday the 22nd. They sent me an email the day of the appointment to confirm and I did so. I get to my house shortly before noon on the day of the appointment and wait for the plumber to show up. At 1 pm no one has shown up nor has anyone contacted me to tell me they would be late. I called and text shortly after 1 pm to find out if anyone is coming. No one answered the phone and about 20 minutes later I did get a text stating the plumber was running late and would not be there till after 2:30 pm. I am rather disappointed that I wasn't notified earlier that they would be late and could not make the scheduled time.
I realize that things happen and the appointments are made ahead of time based upon scheduled finishes and not everything goes as planned. What bothers me is that no one reached out to me before 1 P. M. to tell me that they would be late. You know at 12:30 that you will not make your 1P.M. appointment, you should have called or reached out to me before hand.

Edit: They followed up with me and took full responsibility for the lack of communication. I was impressed with their professionalism and wanting to fix the issue.

When my home inspection revealed the need for a main line sewer cleanout, Nick and Adam handled the job thoroughly and professionally. They secured the line, installed the access point and cleaned the area when they were finished. Both of them were friendly, knowledgeable and answered all my questions. They did a great job.

Drain backed-up and they arrived the same day and didnt charge me extra for it being 6:30pm at night.

Tech was great and he solved our problem quickly.

We had multiple plumbing issues we needed addressed, but didn't have anyone we trusted to call, so we continue to put everything off. Finally we received a recommendation to call Weld and Sons. We contacted them with our long list of items. They were flexible with us when scheduling the work, and were patient as we worked through all of the issues we needed help with. Clyde came out and did everything we asked, and spent additional time explaining certain things to us. He had great customer services, was friendly with my dogs, and spent a good amount of time. The pricing was fair, and we were really pleased with the service. We had one small issue that still needed to be addressed. We got the part and attempted to do it ourselves. Unfortunately we were unable. Clyde had called to find out how everything was after the fact and we mentioned we were unable to get the part installed correctly, so he put in a work order to send Kevin out to finish the install of the part on a continuance - meaning they didn't charge us extra for the second trip. Kevin was also very friendly, very helpful, and good with my dogs. He also took time to explain to me what was going on and why we were unable to do it without the expertise that he had. So thankfully between Kevin and Clyde, our monthly water bill will be reduced by more than half after addressing all of our issues. I absolutely would recommend this company, and I look forward to using them again when the need arises. Thank you for being an honest, fair company that values customer service.

I was happy with the prompt appointment. All good until he said $430 just to snake the disposal line to the main. Fair would have been $250 since it took 5 minutes. Everything was great accept the outrageous cost for 5 mins. Booo! it went from a 5 star review to an 3 for that reason alone.

Excellent service! Mike was professional, ethical, and fun to work with. He even cancelled a large part of the job which another plumber had said I would need. His work was the best plumbing service I've ever had.

Part 1: I give Robert J. an A+ for his professionalism and expertise. I appreciated his patience and diligence troubleshooting & diagnosing issues with my Water Heater. I am pleased with the outcome.Part 2: I had a routine A/C check-up, and I appreciated Jeff F. professionalism and knowledge. He kept me informed of the work and cleaning that was done. He provided some good details about furnace filters and left his business card to contact him with any questions or concerns.

Update: The overall installation of the HVAC system went smoothly.

However, the follow up Erickson's did regarding the scheduling of the city inspectors was absolutely horrendous. We scheduled 3 different full days with an Erickson Plumbing/Heating employee to block off entire days to wait for the City inspector to show for the inspection of the electrical on the the Unit.

All three times Erickson's assured us someone would be coming from the City to inspect the electrical connection. Granted we know this is a separate entity than Erickson's Company, however they are still responsible for ensuring the task is completed per the contract and agreement. All three days wasted waiting.... and waiting..... and waiting....

A suggestion would be to have the Erickson's Manager call the supervisor of the City employee who continually failed to show at the address as promised. GET THE PROBLEM FIXED! Use problem solving techniques and fix the solution rather than just scheduling another time slot in which a no show would transpire.

Satisfied with the quality of work, but dissatisfied with the problem solving, intellect and ability to adjust to a changing environment.

Update: called them out to fix the HVAC system they installed 3 years ago.... they said it’d only be a $180 call out. Turned out to be $500 because the technician they sent was brand new or it seemed like it because he didn’t know how to do anything and therefore had to call someone and have another tech on the phone walk him through on how to fix it. They charged me the time for his ignorance!!! Horrible company.

Very quick to get scheduled. Very nice and professional staff.

Made weekend call and the technician came out same day and fixed FOUR problems in less than 45 minutes. Replaced parts of the plumbing which were not working and refused to charge for the parts. Technician was extremely friendly and knowledgeable explaining everything he was doing why he was doing it and how things work making it possible for me to service things in future.

Jerry did a lovely job this morning. Professional, thorough, let me work but then gave me a thorough and transparent report on his findings. Talked to me in a very homeowner-to-homeowner way, which I appreciated. 5 stars to Jerry.HomeWorks - it’s really annoying to have to speak on phone with a manager at the end of every appt so you can tell me about my options. I hate phones and it feels very on-the-spot pushy and sales-y. Please just let us work with the tech, think over the report, and reach out if we need anything else.
