We were referred to Alex by a trusted friend and contractor when we discovered water damage in our linen closet caused by a leak coming from our master bath toilet. Alex responded to us immediately and fit us into his schedule quickly. He arrived early, confirmed our issue (bad prior wax ring installation), and performed the repair quickly at a very reasonable cost. I highly recommend Alex and Peterson Plumbing!

New house, new to St. Paul. Had a leaky water spout on exterior of house. I didn't spend much time looking at it assumed it was frozen pipe problem. Jake's plumber came out assessed situation (5 mins) tightened a nut on top of the water fixture and fixed the problem. CHA CHING $204 service call minimum. OUCH!

Drain backed-up and they arrived the same day and didnt charge me extra for it being 6:30pm at night.

Andrew - very knowledgeable and efficient. We had an issue that was not resolved through another company and after explaining the situation Andrew was able to diagnose and fix our problem.

Pablo is the owner of the company and he came over right away within an hour. I had a plugged kitchen drain where the plug was deep down in the pipes. He did an excellent job, really knows what he's doing. Cleaned up afterwards and the price was extremely fair especially after doing some research with other companies. Highly recommend!!

I scheduled with Paul Bunyan because I found coupon good for a $99 Main Line cleaning. I called and discussed the issue I was having and was told I could use that coupon to cover the drain cleaning that I needed. When the tech arrived they told me they weren't supposed to honor that coupon even though I was told I could use it. He then tried to sell me a $500 pipe cleaning service, telling me my pipes would be like new and I wouldn't have to call for a drain cleaning for quite some time. I told him the reason why I was trying to use a coupon is because I did not want to spend that kind of money right now. Money is tight. He then said we're not supposed to do this but he could just clean the drain for $280. I again told him that was out of my budget and I will just have to send him away. He again said well we're not supposed to do this but I can give you a coupon and do the job for $125. I reluctantly agreed. I very much disrespect these type of Hard Sell tactics. They did not honor the coupon that I had even though I was told on the phone that they would. And tried to upsell me. After all was said and done, I was told that the issue was a grease clog. So that so-called $500 cleaning would have been Overkill. I definitely will not call Paul Bunyan again. Don't try to take advantage of me or upsell things that I don't really need and honor agreements that are made.

In 2008 they resolved a plumbing problem within 20 minutes of being onsite - a problem another local plumber could not fix despite making 4 failed attempts. Just used Janecky again (Oct 2016) for a new water heater with install, another great customer service experience. Use them, you will be impressed!

We were looking to have our water heater flushed.Plumber who came out was awesome. Mike had a great diagnosis of our unit, and provided an extremely thorough walkthrough of how we could proceed.Something the operators really should screen is the age of your water heater. RotoRooter won’t flush or service if it’s 10 years or older, which ours is. So no service was done…which was a bummer because I took time off work to meet the plumber.But the meeting with Mike was worth the professional opinion he gave us.

Twice in the last year, my home has needed somewhat immediate plumbing attention. I called RTSR both times, at the recommendation of my realtor. Both times they availed themselves almost immediately. For today’s visit, Frank showed up slightly ahead of my wait window, completed the work thoroughly and efficiently, and was very detailed in explaining what needed to be done, the degree to which we can act to prevent future issues, etc. Spending money on plumbing work is zero fun, especially when unexpected. Receiving this level of service makes the expenditure feel “worth it.” It also leaves me highly confident in what was done. They will continue being my first call when our house needs a plumber.

Rod came out to check a backed up sink drain that I had previously tried to clear with a drill snake from Menards. He was able to determine that it was clean, but just had a sit a while with water to unplug the clog, and explained it was like a slow slug. He also put some silicon on a pipe that had a slight leak out of site in the wall. Since he didn't use his drain equip, he just gave me a trip charge, which was less than 50% of a cleaning. He was very patient in answering any questions that I had about my plumbing.

Worst company ever do not recommend they are thieves they came to my house twice to fix my water heater , first time I paid 700 problem still not resolved so they came back I paid another 650 water worked for 4 hours then no more hot water I spent a total of 1350 for absolutely nothing and all they said was I need a new water heater and they would give me 600 off after spending 1350 this place is a joke I literally threw away 1350 stay away from this company

Two days no return call. I called again to find out they are NOT taking residential work.
