Roto-Rooter was able to come out late on a Sunday night to save my family's house from our drain backing up into the shower and laundry room. Only took a few hours for someone to arrive after a call to dispatch, there was a substantial coupon online, and the work is guaranteed for six months. Showed up an hour and a half late to move a gas line for my stove. Told them when I set up the appointment that the line ran through a crawl space, they said it was no problem. Guy tells me without even looking in the crawl space that I should just leave it because of where it's coming in and let the cabinet makers build around the line. I told him my reasons why I (and my cabinet contractor) want it moved and after repeating myself several times he takes a look in the crawl space. He says he can do it but it will have to be another day because it will take longer than expected. He thinks about 3 hours. Tells me it for sure won't go over $720, might be less. I asked for that in writing and he says sure I'll ask the office to send you an email when I get back. Give him my credit card number for an hour and half of work.

As I'm waiting for the call back from the office I realize that now I'm going to have to pay for driving time twice and that today I am paying basically $300 for nothing more than a quote. The office agrees to charge me only for 30 minutes today as to take care of paying multiple times for driving but will not put the $720 quote in writing. While acknowledging that the communication was unclear she would not budge, then said she wouldn't charge me today and that they would not be able to do the work for me.

I don't want to pay $190 an hour for a service that includes mansplaining. I also don't want to be given a quote and told that it guaranteed won't go over $720 by the person doing the work only to be told an hour later by the office that it's not possible. I appreciate that they didn't charge me for today, but am discouraged by how quickly they were willing to drop a customer in need as soon as clear communication was expected. Proceed with caution if you go with this company.

Honestly, I do not write reviews ever but, I have to give credit where it is due and put others on to the great service that we always receive from Cyrus. He has provided exceptional service for both my home plumbing needs and our place of business. Any issues we have he is available, professional, super knowledgeable and kind. This level of service is hard to find and it’s much appreciated. He has changed faucets in my home, installed water heaters, fixed leaks, replaced old pipes, the list goes on and on! My main drain pipe was clogged. My warranty company had hired these guys to come out.

Two stars for the effort of the guys that came out. They put in quite some time, a full day of work(8 hours) and yet, the job was incomplete. One star for the communication. I was told they were going to come back out the next day to use a different method. 10:00AM, I called them and they said they aren’t coming back out because they did all they could.

I had to call my warranty company again and got it resolved through a different company.

Definitely would not use these guys again.

Agreed with the first review. Very poor company. They came out to unclog a drain. The technician stated it wouldn't pay to unclog because the pipe needed repair. He went out to his truck and came back and said his boss said we should unclog anyway. Not knowing plumbing I'm like ok I guess. They charged me a ton and then left. I had to call a good and reputable company and then they came out and said they had to unclog drain again. Do NOT use this company.
