Best Drainage Cleaning in Minneapolis MN

Found this company using an old yellow pages phone book. Not many plumbers are licensed to do gas line work in Minneapolis, and many of those are booked out more than a week. Josh from TJK came the next day, bid the job for a new gas turn-off and stove hook-up, and he was able to do the work a couple of days later. He was very pleasant, very efficient, very informative, and we were very pleased!

For timeliness and efficiency they get 5/5. For pricing they get 0/5. Less than $20 worth of parts, 25 minutes in and out. $495. That was the cost to repair my fill valve and flapper in my toilet. No value what so ever. Professional, responsive and efficient, yes. Value, none.

I called them to fix a backed up drainage but the technician was unable to fix the problem as he did not have the necessary equipment for the job. So he recommended another company he said would be able to get it done.

The General came out and cleared my drain. They made a big mess turn into not a bid deal at all. Thank you so much for being honest, upfront, clean, and prompt. We had an issue arise during a drain cleaning late on a friday. TJK emailed me back immediately Friday evening, asking if we needed emergency service (we did not), and set us up for first thing on monday morning. They arrived on time and were professional and helpful, and even found some good news behind a wall that saved time and money. Will use again, and would highly recommend.

I had water coming up my downstairs shower and floor drain and it was a Saturday night,not a good time,if there is a such a thing,Roto-Rooter was there in two hours! Derek was very professional and was able to clear whatever was plugged.The cameraman Luke, was promptly here bright and early this Monday to check it out. Both were very informative,professional. What I liked most,for a bad situation, was the communication piece from All Roto-Rooter employees was very clear about the timing ,price, and course of action was going to be.

Pedro was very professional and explained everything in detail. He brought our existing shower and bath plumbing up to code and added some shut off valves so we can isolate them if we have problems in the future. He was very communicative with setting up the appointment and checking in with us. He even started heading to the job before we had verified we were there. Little things like that make him stand out as an excellent resource for any plumbing needs. His prices are fair and he was able to get us in quick.

My first interactions with RightMark were positive. Mark took the time to talk us through a whole list of minor issues that were flagged in our home inspection. When he let us know his pricey hourly rate, we pared down our list significantly to the red-flagged items only. By then, however, we'd shown our cards as naive first-time homeowners.

When Mark's plumber arrived, he didn't have the updated pared down list, so we had to pay for the time it took to explain the updated list. When the plumber took off the toilet to change the wax ring, he told us our toilet was beyond repair and asked us whether we wanted to buy a new toilet then and there. We had to take him at his word, and we really had no choice but to say yes because we only have one bathroom and we don't have a car.

We ended up having to pay for the plumber's time to pick up the toilet plus the marked-up price on the toilet plus time to retrieve a different seat because he picked up the wrong one the first time around. We also had to pay for the time it took for the plumber to find out from Mark how much the toilet would cost. Mark was in a meeting when the plumber first called, so we had to pay for the plumber to wait for Mark's response. And the plumber wasn't clear in the quote that he gave for the toilet whether it was for parts or parts and labor. I misunderstood that the quote was for parts and labor.

In the end, to replace the wax ring and the toilet, dispose of the old toilet, and to have one pipe connection manually tightened and one gas pipe capped, we paid a whopping $851.

Shawna was able to contact Roto-Rooter late on a Friday night when our washing machine drain backed up, and they fixed it that day. Andrew was knowledgeable, informative, and gave us additional ideas and ways to prevent a blocked drain in the future. We had tried unsuccessfully to snake it ourselves, but Andrew was able to pull out and show us what caused the issue. We would recommend Roto-Rooter to anyone who needs quick action, done right!
