Best Drain Issues in Minneapolis MN

We recently used Norblom for a bathroom remodel. Steve Morse acted as our contact person for this job and he was always responsive and helpful regarding any of our concerns. The job required 4 different sets of people (plumber, remodeling crew, tile-setter, and glass people). All of the people were professional, did excellent work, and were very friendly to interact with. When we ran into some small problems (as will always happen in this kind of job), Steve made sure that they were taken care of promptly. Great job!!

John was great. Fixed my hot water pressure issue, gave me multiple options with estimates for each. He walked me through how each differed and what the advantages of each were. Highly recommended.

Dan and Gavin were on time, very professional and easy to communicate with . They solved the issues we called about and brought a couple more to our attention which they able to address without having to have a second visit.

Todd Mostad is a phenomenal plumber. He continues to be my go to person since I purchased my townhouse three years ago. Todd came out to install a new kitchen faucet for me and I feel confident that the work will always be completed with the highest quality. This is important to me being a first time home buyer. Often, my jobs are not simple in the least due to work previously completed by previous owners who more than likely did not hire a professional. This proved to be the case this time as well. Todd worked tirelessly and came up with a solution when the old faucet would not just unscrew from the sink. His perseverance and care for the job to be done right is second to none. Todd always shows me what is wrong is good at educating me about the issues. This makes me feel like I am part of the decisions being made regarding my plumbing and not just being told. I trust Todd wholeheartedly, so much so that I request Todd every single time I need a plumber. I know if I have Todd, it will be done right. I joke now that he is like family. Thank you, Todd, for being my plumber and for being someone that I can trust.

My plumber was Bo. This young man was very knowledgeable. I was a very capable jack of all trades handyman until I was disabled at my job. Bo told me what he had encountered while searching for the leak(s) in my kitchen faucet. Then he showed me what it looked like and what he proposed to fix the problems. I was comfortable with his diagnosis and I believe he was spot on in his proposal on how to fix the problem in the most cost effective method. I agreed to follow through with his plan. When Bo left for the day, I felt as if I was saying good bye to a trusted friend.But then, I purchased a replacement faucet that Bo had recommended. He told me told call that night, which I did, and a different plumber would be out the next day to install it. I knew Bo was going on a short pre-Christmas vacation, so he would be unavailable the next day. When the MSP Plumbing dispatcher, Amanda, called to schedule the next morning,she told me the first available opening would be the following Thursday. I told Amanda this was unacceptable and that Bo had stated that someone would come out the next day, not a week later. I was so satisfied with the conditions of this repair that I allowed Bo to additionally sign me up for their Total Customer Care plan to maintain our water heater, furnace and air conditioner.Needless to say, I was furious when all Amanda could offer was an apology for Bo.Bo never would have accepted this delay as he had shared his plans for what he was going to do on his vacation. And I told him we were flying down to Kansas on Thursday morning to spend a week with my daughter's family after Christmas.IF, MSP Plumbing had been able to follow through as Bo had promised, I would have rated them with 5 stars. But, with the promise of success and then the let down of no plumber before Christmas really stifles our holiday family plans. I have no choice but to find another plumber. There was tremendous potential, but thats all.*I have been paying $8/month for a perks plan with MSP Plumbing even though they burned me on my kitchen sink install a year earlier. I called MSP for an emergency main drain clean out today. My call was made about 2pm. MSP for an emergency couldn't make a service call until Monday Morning, and this was Saturday afternoon. I am aborting my contract with MSP. I would DISCOURAGE anyone from doing business with MSP.

After having our utility drain back up for the third time in a year we needed to get someone out here who knew what they're doing to actually fix the issue and not bandaid it. We found cutting edge on the next door app. I called late afternoon and Chris was out early the next morning. Chris was friendly, clean, and efficient with the repair. Turns out a bunch of tree roots were the culprit. I definitely know who to call when/if we have drain issues again! Thanks guys!

I didn't actually end up using Gene's as I had another quote in progress but they were so honest and straightforward about my project, the other company I was working with, and offered what they would genuinely do if they were in my shoes (a sewer main dig up and repair). That's way more than I could say for a lot of trade workers.

We usually get our main line (sewer) cleaned every 2 years, but forgot to have the service done (so it's been 3 years! oops!). This morning I noticed our floor drain in the laundry room was backing up. Called Ken's -- and got same day service at a very reasonable price! We're so grateful!!

We had pipes leaking all over the basement, all Sabastian and Sons Plumbing services. The plumber was knowledgeable and fixed the leaks plus more, I will always recommend 👌 Sabastian and Sons Plumbing services

I mainly called this service to install a new Kraus drop in sink; not a big deal, they quoted $450-700 over the phone with a basic sink install. Then they said $942 for an install with a sink that we already purchased. Just labor!!!

I could change out the shower heads and handles in both bathrooms myself as it’s pretty much screw on and off, but the estimate came back at $1,425 for one bathroom with the valve replacement. Again, all the parts already purchased. The valve was super easy to get to, with the Sheetrock on the other side held on by 1 screw.

The downstairs I did in 15 minutes myself. They wanted $375.

Don’t use this service, my wife was the one that answered the door and they just ripped her off assuming she didn’t know anything about pricing.

I paid $69 for the estimate, they should pay me back for me wasting my time with their bait and switch,
