Totally pleased with the quick result received. Kitchen drain went from draining slow to completely stopped up. Tried to clear myself, but no result. Justin showed up quickly & took no time diagnosing the issue. Turns out the clog was deep in the stack, actually under the house. How he knew this, I don't know. But he was correct. I was amazed at how he could listen to water moving and decide at exactly what moment the clog was moving out. Would highly recommend. Pleasant, professional, knowledgeable & timely. All you could ask for.

They responded fast and treated our issue on Sunday for cheap. They removed the build up in out pipes and everything works well.

Everytime we flushed our toilet, it was coming out of the floor drain in the basement. My basement tubs were clogged & me trying to play Ms. Fix-it with the help of youtube destroyed the piping under my kitchen sink. Called the night before, explained the problem and he was there the next day. He spendt alot of time throughly clearing the drains out. Before he started he explained different things he would try to save me a few dollars. Very respectful and professional. I would highly recommend him and will use him for future plumbing needs. Prices were reasonable.

I never liked dealing with Cheryl or Jennifer's unprofessional attitudes. The only reason I used Knauer for plumbing was because of Buzz. So after they told me he had to retire due to his health, I had to find a new company. When my new plumber came to the door I was so happy and surprised to see that my new plumber was Buzz! I told him the story they told about his retiring/health issues. I asked why he left, but he wouldn't say. Just that his reasons had nothing to due to with his health. Whatever the reason, they must have done something pretty bad to make him leave after so many years. Buzz was the best thing that company had going for them!

Completely unprofessional staff. Have dealt with them few times. First of all, hardly ever you can reach Holly (the receptionist) in the first call, then plumber does not communicate with you before leaving the job site and leaves you wondering why the work was not completed. Then, after making multiple calls, Finally, Holly responses that, a part needed to be ordered and we will send the plumber back on a certain day.
No show on the set appointment and the process starts all over again with leaving you wondering why the plumber has not showed up yet.

Moral of the story, if you need quick service, better call a different company.

We had a very messy situation (on multiple levels) involving continuous sewage backup into our basement, caused by street repair work. Jess and her team worked tirelessly for 3 days to clear our lateral and basement, along the way, engaging less-than-cooperative city staff & contractors to advocate on our behalf to diagnose & correct the root cause AFTER HOURS. Afterward, Jess provided detailed documentation, advice, and human empathy to support our efforts for reparation, helping us reach a positive resolution. Figuratively and literally, we would have been up sh** creek without her and her team.

We have also used Milestone for 2 bathroom projects, and can say the quality of work is top notch.

My name is Ben and I'm the owner of Flow-Rite plumbing and would like to respond to Mike's review. I can understand his frustration on how the job went. But would like to clarify a few things, first his situation was very unusual, every time the drain cleaner was sent down the drain the cutting head would become entangled in tampons and could no longer push forward forcing me to pull it back with difficulty, remove the debree and start over, with the same thing happening over and over. I had no reason to believe that I couldn't unclog the pipe once my cutting head would stop being blunted by the debree. Towards the end of the day, the cable pushed through after a dozen or more attempts to break through finally reaching the full 100 feet of the drain machine. After several more attempts, I gave up. It was a reasonable conclusion the pipe was broken since the uncloged portion was far less than a hundred feet away and I had gotten past that point many times. I informed Mike that it still could be possible to open the pipe with different equipment and if that didn't work I could replace the whole run for $5,200 and for considerably Lea's I we just fixed the broken portion. As far as being on the phone 90% of the time the reality is I was listening to podcasts with earbuds and would go outside occasionally to speak take other business calls and for a chance to rest more than anything.

This company never did any work for me so I can not complain or praise the type of work that they perform. I will say that I made an appointment for one of their technicians to come out to give me a quote on upgrading a boiler and I waited two hours and no one ever showed up nor did anyone call to cancel. I believe this is unprofessional and the sad part is this is a contractor whom number I got off the city website.

Do NOT use this company unless you want to get completely ripped off. We called them out to address a smell coming from the drain in our shower. We told them multiple times where the smell was coming from and said we thought there might be build-up in the P-trap or one of the pipes in the basement -- they told us multiples times that we were wrong. After charging us for a new toilet ring, doing a smoke test, and telling use we needed to extend our soffit vent out, we ended up paying for a lot of unnecessary work that didn't fix the smell at all. We had 2 more plumbers come out and give us their opinions and both agreed within 10 minutes of being here that our suspicions were correct. The plumber we went with had everything cleaned out and fixed in a day. Alpine refuses to admit their mistake, says they're the experts, and after an hour on the phone with them only knocked $100 off our bill. What a joke.

This week we came home after being away and found our outside hose bibb had cracked and had been gushing water for 8 hours, we turned off the pipe indoors and got the water to stop but had flooding in our basement just due to the sheer amount of water on the outside wall. We called VIP and they promptly came. We wanted to see if there was any other damage to our piping internally and to locate if that was the only issue. The employee from VIP was here for 15 minutes, said he could replace the hose bib, said our guess was right. When we called to schedule there was no information about them charging just to come out and we weren't told pricing until we got a bill in the mail. The bill was for over $200 dollars. The average price for a hose bib is $10. We were frustrated with the low level of service, lack of insight, and excessive pricing for 15 minutes of something, honestly I could've done myself. Won't be using them again.
