Rooter-Man Drain Cleaning

We woke up to an inch of water in our basement. We called The Rooter Man and Darrell came to our home within hours. He cleared the tree roots from our pipes in less than 45 minutes. He was very polite and knew exactly what to do. We would definitely call Rooter Man again for their quick and affordable service.

Schedule an appointment and the plumber never showed or called. I called and left a message and have yet to receive a response.

Rooter- Man Darrell does a fantastic job making drains work again and cleans up the messes clogged drains can do at times. Twice I called him over to unclog the drains. The first time was for bathtub drain. He removed the clog and cleaned out the drain; this was over a year ago and still no problems. Today I called about my kitchen and bathroom sink drain being clogged and he came the same day. He got them functioning in a short period of time. After he left I notice there was a tiny amount of water from under the kitchen drain pipe and called him right away. He came back with a plastic part and installed it to insure the fit was tight and it only took him five minutes and told me it was on him. What a great guy. Darrell is very reasonable in his fees. He is easy to talk to and takes pride in his work.

Needed a plumber...called some guys they tried to rob , them guys gave me a high price . Then i called Rooter-Man he answered the same day. He came the following morning cleaned my floor drain out in 30mins . This is professional at its its finest. He knew more than one way to fix my problem and gave me a fair price .

Darrell did a great job unclogging the drain below our kitchen sink + garbage disposal! He was at our home within 15 minutes of me making the call, gave us a flat rate that was reasonably priced, made quick yet thorough work of the clog, and gave us sound advice for preventing it from happening again in the future. Great service, professional, gets the job done. 8:30 on a Thursday night, my son is taking a shower, I'm in the basement office doing some work when I notice a stank coming from the laundry room. I turn on the lights and lo and behold, there's backup water coming out of the floor drain. I notice it starting to rear up into the stationary tub as well. I run upstairs to tell everyone to stop running water and fortunately the backup flow stopped. I consulted the throbbing Google brain and it lead me to give Rooter Man a call. Darrell answered and came on out to our home within the hour. He assessed the situation, and showed me how badly the line was clogged from the cleanout access, it was thick and disgusting. He then brought in the machine, and started clearing the god awful goo that was clogging our sewer lateral out to the main sewer. He also cleaned out the under the floor line and the floor drain. It's a dirty smelly job, but tell you what, it was worth every penny to know that the sludge in our sewer line was cleared out right proper by professionals like Darrell. For the emergency service, I think the price paid was totally fair. I know that other companies can and do charge more. Darrell busted his ass to get my line cleared out and a disaster was averted.

Darryl reached out within an hour of my initial inquiry. He came, looked at the pipes, made a recommendation and quoted me a price. He arrived at the stated time, did the work, cleaned up any dirty area and was on his way. Super nice guy. I would use him again and recommend him to others with drainage problems. Should have called before I wasted $100.00 to rent a 100' drain snake from Home Depot; the machine Darrel brought was ten times stronger than the rental. Basement drain was backed up, and flooded more whenever water was used anywhere in the house. I called and he quoted me $200 based on my description of the problem. Was late for the morning appointment so I had to reschedule for later that evening (by this time heavy rain was coming down and the basement was starting to flood, so another $100 on a utility pump & hose from Menard's to keep the water at bay until he arrived) but $&#t happens, so I didn't take a star away for that-he came back later that same day. Had the drain down within 10-15 minutes and spent another 10-15 cleaning the pipe out just to make sure things were taken care of. The best part: the quote he gave me on the phone was exactly what he charged me. If you have drain issues CALL ROOTER-MAN!!!

Darrell was very professional. He came ready to correct the issue that I was having with my basement drain and he definitely delivered. I'm impressed and very grateful. I had bad experiences with previous plumbers so I was ecstatic to meet a plumber that was professional and takes pride in his work. Thanks Darrell! I'll be calling you for all my plumbing needs.

Did the work as needed. Not very clear on rates, fishy quoting and fee schedule (i.e. non existent).

Snaked a clogged drain for $175 which he quoted up front (excessive if you ask me, but oh well, I accepted). THEN found an issue with a pipe being rusted... everything was torn down, it needed to be repaired... nowhere for me to go really, then said the whole job would be $375 (that is $200 to replace the rusted pipe). When I questioned him about how long it would take him and how much he was charging me per hour, he immediately adjusted and said he'd charge me $300 (notice, he NEVER told me how much he charged per hour)... 20 (TWENTY) Minutes later he was done. He charged me $125 for parts & labor to replace a rusted pipe (which would have been $200 if I hadn't asked what his hourly rate was), and got bend out of shape and offended when I asked him to detail it in the invoice.

He was here a total of 50 minutes and charged me $300. Lawyers charge less and you get a full hour!

WILL NEVER USE AGAIN EVEN IF MY PLUMBING BURST OPEN AND HE'S THE LAST SURVIVING PLUMBER IN ALL OF THE METRO MILWAUKEE AREA.

Everytime we flushed our toilet, it was coming out of the floor drain in the basement. My basement tubs were clogged & me trying to play Ms. Fix-it with the help of youtube destroyed the piping under my kitchen sink. Called the night before, explained the problem and he was there the next day. He spendt alot of time throughly clearing the drains out. Before he started he explained different things he would try to save me a few dollars. Very respectful and professional. I would highly recommend him and will use him for future plumbing needs. Prices were reasonable.

We called Darrell at 9pm on a Friday night due to some backup in our basement. We had friends and family coming into town for new years the next morning, and we were desperate for some help. Darrell picked up on the second ring and was at our house within the hour. Problem solved shortly after that. He is experienced and professional. He was able to creatively work around some odd configurations of our plumbing. Our family arrived in town and they never would have guessed we had a problem. The workplace was as clean as when he arrived. We paid extra for the emergency service, but well worth it.

Had a clogged sewer drain , figured I couldn't do it myself so I called Darrell to come after hours.His quote was exactly what he charged. Price was a good deal considering
the overtime. I would not hesitate to recommend him to my friends.

He did a GREAT job! He cleaned out the lines quickly and efficiently. The cost was very reasonable, especially for a Saturday morning call. It was a snowy day and there was very little mess when he left. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I see a lot of good reviews on there, but my experience was not good. The person I spoke to set a meeting with me for the same day. Great, until he didn't show and then didn't answer his phone, return my message or text. The next day he called like nothing happened and said he could schedule an appointment with me. No thank you. Darrell did the job of clearing my sewer lateral when other plumbers called it quits after an hour. Even after finding an issue that looked like he wouldn't be able to clear the lateral, he kept at it and was able to clear it so that we could get a proper look at the issue. Now I have to address the issue, but with Darrell's help, I have some time to make a decision.

Honest! Fairly priced! Hard working! Fantastic work ethic! I made a call at 7:30am and Darrell was at my house that same morning by 9:30 and done by 10am! He gave a flat rate fee and was very personable and cleaned up after the work was completed. He double checked that the the clog was cleared and no other pipes were affected with me present to ensure proper water flow. It is so reassuring to know that honest, upfront and hard working customer service is not dead! I would definitely recommend Darrell for all your Plumbing needs!!!

I set up an appointment with Darryl to come out between 10 and 12 on a Monday, by 1145 he was a no show, I text him asking if he was in route to my home and didn’t receive a reply till and hour later. When he finally got to my home which was after 1 pm, he attempted to jack the flat rate that he had given me the day I made the appointment from 225 to 265. When I mentioned that not only was he late but he was also attempting to charge me more he agreed to the flat rate I had to “remind him” of. To top it off, all he had to do was snake the drain out he was literally at my home 15 minutes and made 225 off of me. Very unprofessional and a bit of a rip off too!

Showed up promptly and worked very quickly to solve our problem. I think he is able to work so quick because he knows what he is doing. I thought his price was reasonable with great service.
