When I started calling for estimates to have my basement drain replaced J R Plumbing had the best price of the 3 Company's I called. Cameron was very helpful and understood all what was needed.. I was actually shocked at how quickly the job was completed. You could hardly tell they were even in the basement. The service techs were very curtious and even gave me some information on possible future items I might need. The final price even came in lower than the original estimate. I highly recommend to at least call for a quote on any plumbing issue. You'll be glad you did.

I’ve been using JRPlumbing for several years now, for jobs ranging from installing faucets to, most recently, a water heater. Every time, I have been extremely pleased with their work. I have found everyone, from the owner to the plumbers in the field, to be friendly, knowledgeable, and dedicated to providing quality service. Their prices are reasonable (including their emergency services). I definitely recommend JR Plumbing to others for plumbing needs.

Steve and his staff were amazing. We were fortunate to have them put our gas line in for our swimming pool. I will say there are not a lot of companies that install these lines. Very reasonable in price. I will be having them back to do some more work. I highly recommend them for all your plumbing services.

Pros: The technician sent out was professional, and the work completed was satisfactory.

Cons: My big issues are with their pricing and material costs. The labor fee of $130/hour is fine. The $60 trip charge, that does not get deducted from the bill when work is performed, is really frustrating. I understand a fee to come out, but that should get removed if I'm paying for your services. Saying it's for the truck and fuel is unfair since that's what you should budget your labor rates on. If it's truly a trip charge, then pro-rate it based on mileage or something.

The thing that got me the worst though was your materials cost. I was charged $4/foot for 1/2 copper, which I can buy at any hardware store for less than $2/foot. All the other miscellaneous fittings were priced equally as high. I'm sure JR is getting it for a nice bulk discount, so to turn around and charge the customer 2-3x the cost of the material is just unnecessary.

All of these extra fees and over charges are what will lead me to calling another plumber the next time I need work done.

I would highly recommend JR Plumbing! We had a clogged sink basin that just didn't want to cooperate with our do - it - yourself fix it solution. I called in the morning and spoke with Steve. He was great to talk with and asked that I send him photos to really give me a better idea of what I might be looking at as far as a ballpark price. He then made arrangements that same day to send out Jamie (unsure of spelling) and he was great! He fixed the issue quickly, and make recommendations. We will definitely be using them for future pluming needs!!

JR Plumbing is the best! We have used their services for 18 years. They call as they are enroute, are very thorough and treat you as a VIP. I highly recommend JR if you have plumbing needs.

We were just full of hope someone could help us get back to a better place. We couldn't shower at home or use the bathroom. If We did a big clean up had to be done. This was the second company We called and Thanks God❣️😇😇 They saved our life's. A guy with glasses and another guy with blond hair and a cap. Very cool looking. And easy to communicate With even though it was hard to have a good attitude at this time. He brought his teammate the second time and We're still filled with so much joy we can continue our life's. My dad was recently hospitalized due to a fall, and while he's been in the hospital I realized his home needed a few repairs to make it suitable for him when he returns. JR plumbing has been responsive, clean and courteous through multiple visits to address multiple issues. From the office staff to Jeff and his assistant that did the work, they have all been very good to work with despite being very busy.

$229.95 to replace a flapper and lengthen the chain on the toilet. That took less then 20 mins. That is outrageous, that amount of money for a part that cost less than $10.00. Will not use this business again.

In the process of remodeling the basement, contracted with JR to conduct the rough drain line installation for our various fixtures. Their estimate was competitively priced but it was the level of service that set them apart. Due to the high water table of the area the job got messier than planned but the crew did great cleaning up and left the workplace cleaner than started. Appreciated also the attention to the project paid by the owner who visited to consult and ensure everything was to my liking. Working with them in next phases as well which is a plus as I can do some work myself with their eye and assistance to call upon if needed.

I have used JR Plumbing a number of times in the past. I have worked with 3 different plumbers in my encounters. Each have been punctual and professional and of the highest quality. I think the price they charge is reasonable and of a good value. I will definitely use them again.

This truck ran through a stop sign after exiting highway 16 to turn north on KE in Hartland this morning. Dangerously cutting me off and forcing me to break to avoid rear ending them. Teach your workers respectful driving.

They installed a water heater for me many years ago and it was still going strong after 24 years! Great guys to work with. Competitive prices! Would hire them again!

Called the company for same day plumbing repair, they stated they could do it but was unsure if it would be billed under normal work hours or emergency hours (after 4pm) do to schedule. I had asked for a quote and was told one couldn't be provided because they were unsure of the extent of the repair. Plumber showed up at 230 and completed the job in 30 minutes successfully. I was charged $420 dollars for labor and $60 for a service charge (not even sure what a service charge is for) all for 30 minutes of work. He then explained that they charged me for emergency hours, one hour of travel time and one hour of work time at $210 an hour. When I had asked for a quote and was refused one, I should have been told that at a minimum I would pay $420 plus a service charge. I would never have agreed to have someone charge me $210 just to drive to my property. Not divulging pricing when a customer asks for a quote is not only unethical but bad business practice. Our family buys and sells homes along with having multiple rental properties and we will not be using this plumber for any future work.

We were looking for someone to run all new plumbing to our, at the time, non-existent bathroom on the 3rd floor of our 115 year old Victorian. Someone suggested JR Plumbing and I was familiar with the name since my parents had used them for YEARS! They totally exceeded our expectations. Everything was perfect. Corey was the lead man on our project and was great! Communication and follow through during the project was great.

In addition to our home project we have also used them multiple times at our rental. We call and they are there to fix the issue in no time! I recommend JR Plumbing whenever I have the opportunity!!

Understaffed, slow to come out and then they didn't turn up...and no phone call. Bad service and rude...would NEVER call again.

Great company!

First, the good: The receptionist and the tech were very nice and very professional. They got out to me FAST.
The bads: They are very expensive. They told me on the phone they had a ~$60.00 trip fee and then charged $150 per hr. They came in and unclogged a drain. The plumber John was here for >10 min. They had not disclosed that they have a minimum repair fee of $130.00 and so my total bill for a few minutes of labor was $199.40. John even apologized and said he and the other technicians feel the billing policy is not ethical and have complained to the office management. I definitely felt lied to about their costs.

I was in a pinch as a contractor, and they came through to get the job moving again.

Scott was a great help at my house. Was very helpful and quick. Fixed a leaking trap before he left for no charge. I'm always hesistant to have companies work on my house, but I will not be hesistant to call J R Plumbing again! Great service!

Great work quality. Replaced all cold pipes, installed a new shutoff valve, install 2 new hose bibs. Happy with the work.

I had a shut off valve installed on my bathroom sink. The plumber did not have a valve that fit and had to leave to get one. When he was done, he was writing my bill for 15 minutes while in his truck. I got billed for all of that time. In defense of the plumber, he was new to the company and was a nice guy. Spoke with Steve who reduced my bill by a quarter of an hour when actually it should have been a half hour. He clearly seemed irritated with me which was very surprising and disappointing. We have used JR Plumbing for years and I have referred them to all of my family members. They have always been wonderful and I never felt their billing was too high. With my reduced bill, I still am being charged $376.00 to have a water shut off valve installed. I was charged for two hours labor.
Several years ago, JR Plumbing came out to my elderly mothers house to unclog a drain after hours and on a Saturday. It was right before a holiday. They were so kind and told her to have a nice holiday and didn’t charge her anything. We were obviously shocked. We called JR plumbing to let them know just how touched we were and to let them know how wonderful their employees are. My family always brings that up when we have plumbing issues.
Unfortunately I will be looking for a different plumber. I certainly do not feel like a valued customer anymore.

We had to call JR Plumbing several weeks ago because our hot water heater had a major leak due to a loose fitting with our AprilAire unit. Even though it was a Sunday, they quickly responded to this emergency call. John was very prompt and professional, and quickly assessed and repaired the issue. We have also used them before and have found them to be reliable and honest and fair with both diagnosis and pricing. Everyone we have encountered has been very professional and extremely personable. Highly recommend.

J. R. Plumbing was a godsend when our contractor left us in a lurch. They did our rough plumbing for our kitchen remodel and were willing to finish any plumbing work when we terminated the contract. They installed our faucet, refrigerator, and dishwasher. The staff was very professional, kind, respectful and understanding. They paid attention to detail, treated our home like it was their own, and even fixed the problem when our dishwasher wouldn’t fit in its space. We can’t thank them enough! We will call on them to do any other plumbing work we have in the future. We highly recommend using J. R. Plumbing.

This company is now my go to plumber! Last year, sewage backed up in my basement. Mr Rooter came out and told me the lateral pipe was collapsed and it would cost around $10k to fix. They also charged me an extra $100 for a membership to them that I did not want. Fast forward to this year, I decided to a get a second opinion so I called JR Plumbing. Let me tell you how much of a life saver this choice was. JR Plumbing comes out today to pinpoint the collapsed pipe. Can you guess what they did not find? For starters JR Plumbing has much better equipment so with their camera we were able to see that the collapsed pipe was actually where the pipe turned 90 degrees. After cleaning the roots out, JR Plumbing was able to see all the way through the lateral to the main sewer. I am so glad I called them and I will never call anyone else.

John came after hours to fix my floor drain that was backed up. It ended up being the breaker that shut the pump off. He flipped the switch and the water drained. I felt like an idiot... but he was so humble and kind! I'm not sure if I should disclose that he waived the charge to come out, but he gained a customer for life! I will be using J R plumbing for all of my upcoming repairs during remodeling. Excellent customer service!!!

From the moment I called JR Plumbing to the great team members who came out to my house. So professional and thorough. They definitely didn't just do the quick fix and be gone. Jamie was so super helpful and nice and really helped me understand what was happening while ensuring he did the job right! I would call JR for any of my plumbing needs!

After some sub-standard work from another contractor resulted in leaks from our tub, we hired J.R. Plumbing to help replace our century-old galvanized pipes for our bathroom. The work was done very well and they were incredibly flexible when it came to coordinating with the plasterers who were repairing the damage caused by the previous contractors. It is a huge relief to know that we won't have to worry anymore about bits of rust coming out of our pipes or the pipes corroding to the point where they fail and completely ruin our beautiful plasterwork.

I had described the issue. Scheduled service call. When the plumber showed up, he had NO knowledge of the issue. Didn't have parts right away. Finally found a ball valve that was sitting there with a beat up handle! I had to reschedule the service.

Plumber, Chris, was excellent! Very knowledgeable, professional, & thourale! Kitchen sink faucet leaking Was told would have to wait for after hours service He showed up early, recommended-at my request-an outstanding new faucet Was completed w/in a very timely manner, & he cleaned up everything Would recommend this company They go beyond 110%!!

After disappointing service from two other local plumbers, I called JR Plumbing, and they responded the same day and took care of a leaky kitchen faucet by installing a new one at a reasonable price. Since then we have used them for installing a new water heater and for running water to our new refrigerator. We have had three different plumbers and they have all been extremely professional, courteous, knowledgeable; they finished the work in a timely manner and did a great job cleaning up when done. I highly recommend this company if you need plumbing work.

Our water heater wasn’t working, so I called J R Plumbing at 9:00 a.m. Taylor told me that she would pass my information along and that someone would get back to me. Within minutes, Cameron called back and told me that he would see about locating the parts for the model type. Shortly after, Zach called and said that he could be over in 10 minutes. The water heater was fixed by 10:45 a.m.!! Now that’s service, and everyone was very nice!! FYI, the water heater was under warranty so there was no charge!!

Owner Steve is not honest or upfront. It took a so called experience plumber four visits to keep changing parts to fix a shower leak at my expense.

It's refreshing to work with a company that truly cares about their customers. Our water heater stopped working and instead of giving us the run around like so many other companies, J R Plumbing was able to fit us into the schedule on short notice and take care of the problem quickly. I cannot thank them enough for their responsiveness and professionalism. Save yourself the hassle and work with J R from the beginning that way you know the job will be done right the first time.

I recently used JR Plumbing for my bathroom remodel, including total pipe replacement. My experience with them was fantastic; They were prompt, consistent, neat, and courteous, & I couldn’t have been happier with the results! Highly recommend letting them take care of all your plumbing and remodel needs! The customer service and office management were unmatched as well!!

I called JR Plumbing about a leaky kitchen faucet and the person who answered the phone was very helpful and worked with me to troubleshoot the issue rather than come over on an appointment and make me spend money on an easy fix. I appreciated the honesty and willingness to work with me even though he could have just as easily come over for the appointment and taken my money on an easy fix. I'll make sure to call them again due to the honesty and old fashioned way of working with a customer.
