Called Smith's Plumbing Services out on the review of other consumers and the Better Business Bureau....they lived up to their EXCELLENT RATING. They evaluated my problem in under 15 minutes where a plumber chosen by Choice Warranty could not evaluate our problem in 90 minutes. Smith's master plumber discussed our various options concerning a main water line leakage and we felt comfortable and at ease we choose the right company. Chad and his fellow colleague came out and fixed our main water line with little to no upheavel in the amount of time stipulated during consultation. We have used many plumbing company (small and large), SMITH's OUTSHINES THEM ALL!!!! Their services were priced at a fair and reasonable fee. Their services and people are outstanding! Thank you to Smith for making this otherwise unbelievable stressful time less nerve-racking.

Deceptive business practices. Asked for kitchen faucet installation and estimate on leaking basement drain. Was told that two plumbers would come if required to do the job. Since job was a simple kitchen faucet installation, only one plumber was needed. But one plumber came and along with his very inexperienced apprentice. They charged $80 per hour for each for over five hours. Plumber was competent and polite, but left house with faucet failing to shut off properly and without giving estimate. I called the office about 10 times asking for assistance with persistent leaking faucet and for the promised estimate on basement drain. Receptionist was invariably polite, but the return call she promised multiple times from the manager never came. We finally had to call another plumber to fix the faucet and the basement drain. Exorbitant prices. Terrible value. Horrible customer service. Very disappointing.

I give them superior rating

All the faucets in the restaurant were running too hot. They came in and fixed them in under 30 minutes. Absolutely awesome!

The serviceman-Cole was extremely professionally. He arrived within the designated timeframe and completed the work quickly. He was straightforward with the pricing and there weren’t any surprises.

Henry is by far the best handyman I have ever worked with, and the most dependable tradesman I've met: whereas many handymen I've worked with in the past have done no-shows or disappeared midway through a project, Henry is always on time and ultra reliable. His main strength, however, is his devotion to quality: he is a perfectionist, which is a wonderful trait in a handyman, and it results in beautiful results. He is the only handyman I would work with in the Memphis area.

I was extremely impressed with my Roto-Rooter plumbing experience. I called around 5pm on a Thursday with a non-emergency bathtub plumbing problem and they sent someone to my house by 5:45pm for a free estimate on service. The estimate was considerably lower than two other plumbers that I had previously called and the plumber (Dennis) was able to schedule me an appointment for first thing the next morning.

Dennis was exceptional in explaining everything and getting it all done correctly and quickly. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about either Dennis or anyone I talked to on the phone at Roto-Rooter and am very satisfied with my service.

I had water flood from the wall into my closet. Carlos came out and did a great job quickly figuring out the repair needed and getting the job done in a quick and efficient manner. He was very communicative and pleasurable to speak with. Thank you, Carlos, for the fix!

Was at my house for 30 minutes of work, but charged me for 1-1/2 hours of labor. Claimed it was for running around town to find and replace part under warranty. They pulled the part off the truck and fixed the issue within that 30 minutes. I don't recommend using these guys unless you want to be overcharged.

Tankersley came out to our church to do a simple change...they sent two plumbers and only needed one on the job... they were working with the city and granted the city complicated the matter... but after talking to other plumbers we are definitely sure they way over charged the church. Their original invoice was for $1900 and they lowered it some to $1370.

If you do use them... My advice is to get a bid from them for sure before they do the work... I feel like they tried to take advantage of our church. I wont call on them again and neither will the company that recommended them to us.

I have read the response from Tankersley... very interesting... First they were not out there 7 hours... they did even work 4 hours. The city managers verified this also I came and went on the scene four times and they were not present at times as they had left for a while ... Bottom line they took advantage of us and I will run before I take it back... I have discussed this with several plumbers in our city who are reputable and they all agree. Even the company who sent them to us has discontinued using them and referring them to people. Just take our word and be sure to have everything on paper and keep track of their work.

Also there is no main Central Church ... there are many Central Churches all over...
