Exceptional service by German from the Cordova branch. I had a water line leaking under the driveway. He properly diagnosed the problem, and persevered through rain, freezing temperatures and delayed equipment to get my water back on. I would have liked to pay a bit less, but my water is back so it was worth it.
Had an emergency sewer backup situation and called Rotorooter, who sent technician, Hunter, out immediately. He assessed the blockage, tried clearing it a few times and was able to flush it out. Service was professional, friendly and quick!

Working with Allen was by far the most pleasant experience I've had with a plumber. I had 11 OLD shut off valves on my sinks and toilets replaced with quarter turn valves and also got new escutcheons. The quote was the best of 3 and Allen came off as a very authentically nice guy so it was an easy decision to hire him. Now the job is done, my first impression of Allen being someone trustworthy is a lasting one. He walked up and downstairs repeatedly checking each valve to be 100% sure there was no leak when he left the job. Very pleased.

burst and took care of removing wet carpeting, drying out floor and sheet rock, and then came as soon as we need him for another burst pipe. He returned to replace all the furniture as soon as the repair work was finished.

The technician was professional, efficient and very helpful. My one complaint would be that for a 15 min service to cost $400 they shouldn’t leave wet and nasty toilet paper all around the clean out drain. They already have on gloves. Clean it up!

This is the second time in the last four years that we have used this Roto-Rooter team and they are amazing. Always friendly, fast, and professional. On this visit Jermaine was the technician that came out and he was wonderful! I recently just had Roto-Rooter to some repair work for me. I had chosen to use them because of their reputation and I was not disappointed at all. These guys rock! Due to work, I haven't been able to take care of my house as much as I should, and I found out I had a mold problem. A friend recommended C.J. and John from Roto-Rooter, and they got it all cleaned up! Tom and Hunter were incredibly responsive and professional. It took them 2 days and some ingenuity, but they did not quit until the job was done. They started Friday to perform what seemed like a routine clog clearing with the cable, but actually had to come back Saturday with a second cable to clear the line, almost 200’ from the clean out. Very appreciative of the effort and will definitely use them again. Everything is working.

My name is Sandra Dowdy and I called Roto Rooter for what I call a nightmare drained problem. This was on February 2nd which was also Super Bowl Sunday at around 7:30 at night. My family and I was enjoying the game and suddenly heard a bubbly sound throughout the house and discovered that the drained pipes outside of the house had backed up and every drain in the house had waste and water coming up from the showers to the kitchen sinks and everywhere there was a drain.
I was devastated and being that this was the first of the month when most of your heavy bills are due and now a drainage problem. Anyway, I was trying to figure out who I can call to come out this late on a Sunday and During the Super Bowl game I felt hopeless but I knew I had to figure out a way because we had know way to use water in the house.
I searched the website for after hours emergency service and saw that Roto Rooter had 24 hours service.
I called the number listed and spoke to a very friendly representative that understood what I was going through and sent out a technician name Mr. Lyle Roberts within minutes of my call.
Mr. Roberts was not only very professional and extremely nice to me. He understood with no hesitation what I was going through and assured me that coming out late on a Super Bowl Sunday was not a problem with him.
Robert went to work and showed me what was happening with my drainage system on a camera and explained every details of what was needed to resolve this problem completely.
Even though it was Unexpectedly costly expense for me. Robert and Roto Rooter made me so comfortable about the situation because it could have been much different with another company. Happy customer! 😃
The team that helped me today were so kind and incredibly professional. They arrived earlier than expected, and called ahead to let me know that Lyle would be my technician. Everything is fixed up, and someone will be following up next week to determine if there is additional work that needs to be done. For a holiday week, I am so pleased with the service level provided, and thankful that someone is returning next week to take a more extensive look. I called them to repair a tub backing up, and the tech showed up with broken equipment. Called the office n talked to the worst manager ever. Misty she has no customer service skills she was rude and did not let me even speak. I have hotels, and apartments that I own n will never use these people ever again. The technician, German, was great. He was able to fix the problem quickly on a holiday weekend including finding the necessary parts. My only caution is that this was not a cheap fix in spite of only taking about an hour of actual labor. Be sure you need a licensed plumber before you call one.
Charged me almost $200 to come and tell me something I already knew. The driver didn’t have parts he needed and couldn’t do anything. Ridiculous.
Replying to the response - If you knew what the issue was to begin with, and you knew the parts store was closed because it’s a Saturday, why send someone out?
I decided to call RotoRooter after many failed attempts with another company that had me out of my home for over a month through my home warranty. I quit the former company and the warranty company! RotoRooter came out the following day, and fixed the entire issue within an hour. They wasted NO TIME! Thank you for your dedication and kindness on the job! My service tech’s name was German!

I had a true plumbing emergency when the sewage in my 100 year old house backed up on a Sunday morning. The entire basement was a huge mess. I often hear about plumbing emergencies on the weekends so I thought I would call to see if Roto-Rooter had anyone available. Lyle Hunter to the rescue! He and his partner arrived quickly and fixed the sewage issue. Lyle went out of his way to clean up the mess and I am so appreciative! I recommend calling Roto-Rooter and requesting Lyle Hunter. I will definitely use them again if we have any other issues.

Being stationed in Memphis in the military has always been a problem due to my hours and my life, especially for my wife. When my neighbors shower broke and destroyed my ceiling with mold, I had no idea what to do. But then I was recommended Roto Rooter by a friend, and I could never have been more thankful! While I was at work, C.J. and John were extremely helpful and respectful as my wife was home at the time. She said she enjoyed every bit of the time they had, which seemed odd to me but as long as the wife is happy haha! When I got home, they also left us a list of tips of ways to help with mold in the future too! I recommend this to anyone who ever has a problem with mold or water damage in the future.

No other plumbers were willing to respond for an emergency repair. Roto-rooter said they would have a plumber there within an hour, but about 15 minutes later their plumber was at my house. German (the plumber) was very friendly and had the issue fixed in about 20 minutes.
We had a clog in our main water line. They were able to come out within 24 hours of our phone call (on a weekend) and get us cleared out and up and running in no time. employee was very professional and friendly. We are very happy with the service.

This is the second time I have used roto-rooter. The first time was for a busted pipe in the attic a few years ago. They came quickly and fixed the problem at a fair price. Problem happened to me on a holiday & I just didn't know what to do. John Dickan from roto-rooter call me to see what the problem was and came right out that day. When he came out he assured me that everything would be okay & got right on the job immediately to prove so. Called them for a leaky toilet. Scheduling was a little tricky (plumber was ~1 hr late - I think this was more a scheduling issue than the plumber's fault). When he arrived, German, was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. He had the problem fixed quickly. I would recommend Roto-Rooter, just with the caveat that their scheduling is a little optimistic.

So we called RotoRooter on 12/3/2020. We were told they would be there the next day (for clarity 12/4/2020) between 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. well they were,… sort of. A manager named Mark stopped by to do a pre-emptive inspection and see if there was water damage. There wasn't we merely had a clog somewhere beyond the 25 ft. where our own drain auger could reach.
Mark mentioned that it could be a pipe issue, but we reassured him it wasn't we watched the water come out of the drain behind our washer. We are sure it is a clog. Well then Mark left.
Now admittedly this next bit is clearly a case of the left hand not knowing what the right hand was doing but it was a bit irritating none the less. Mark mentioned someone would be coming they are just running a bit behind, we were like cool. Well, time keeps rolling on and no one has shown up to actually do the work. My husband notices some missed calls on his phone. Apparently, despite having an appointment time and despite a manager coming to our house and physically seeing we were here RotoRooter will not dispatch someone to the house without confirming with a phone call. So that pushed our appointment slot back yet again.
By the time Hunter showed up I think it was probably 3:30 maybe even 4:00. So to that I say, boo hiss. This was a completely avoidable mishap. We weren't mad or anything just kind of irritated, but like not raging Karens about it or anything. Hunter was our serviceman, and this poor guy had obviously had a long day. But he was cordial and polite, and asked questions as needed.
Hunter was here for what felt like a few hours, but he was a professional the entire time. Because I know this man wanted to go home. During his time in our home we found out he is actually from Somerville, TN. I don't know who Hunter made angry in that office, but I assure you it was unwarranted. Having this poor man driving an hour to go home. Hunter deserves all the gold stars, because not only did he get our drain working he didn't make a mess everywhere.
Which is more than what I can say for my wonderful husband in his attempts to fix this drain issue. You really haven't lived until your socks find wet coffee grinds, it is a horrible feeling. Thanks to Hunter, I don't have to fear wandering into my kitchen at night to that horror. Now I get to revert to my usual guessing game of vomit or diarrhea that my animals love to play with me. But it certainly will not include the wild card of vomit, diarrhea, or coffee grinds/gross sink water?
Thank you Hunter, you've brought harmony to the home once more. You know what they say, Happy Wife, Happy Life my poor husband was desperate from respite of my constant nagging. If anyone is the hero in this epic narrative, it's Hunter. You got a winner in Hunter folks, don't let him down. That's right, I said it. Don't let him down. We now refer to unclogging drains in this house as the Hunter Standard You're welcome RotoRooter, Hunter has blessed you with a standard and our house with draining water.
No one should yell at Hunter, that's just rude. I'll include Mark in this too.

Severn and Pressley came immediately and assessed my water damage. Severn encouraged me to file an insurance claim which I did. He walked me through the whole process. He and Pressley took up carpet, swept the floors and left drying equipment. He will return from day to day for the next four days to make sure things are going as they should. Excellent company.

Roto Rooter must be the best plumbing service there is. Germen Salinas was my service technician and knew everything about all of my plumbing issues. He repaired my garbage disposal that had a spoon stuck in it. He had to take it apart to dislodge the spoon. He replaced a small leaking hot water hose beneath my bathroom sink. He replaced a broken bathtub faucet, whose knob was frozen in the down position. I got the knob frozen in the up position, so the water would only come through the shower, but I broke the knob in the process. He was friendly, knowledgeable, courteous, and the best plumber I've had the occasion to use. I used the Hill...whomever company once, and I didn't like them.

I could not be more happy with the service provided and will definitely contact them and refer them in the future.
Uncovered 2 pvc rainwater pipes at the curb. They had previously been covered up by sod several years ago. He did solve the problem, BUT AT $460/HR THAT MAKES HIM BY FAR THE MOST EXPENSIVE PLUMBER IN SHELBY COUNTY. I was under a time crunch since I was installing new gutters and downspouts. Otherwise, there's not a chance I would have used ROTO-Rooter.

Had an emergency and called Roto-Rooter after most companies were closed. Spoke with Joshua and he was at my home within the hour. He was very pleasant and professional.
Awesome experience- discovered massive water damage down stairs after water heater ruptured during the night. Called Roto Rooter and they had someone at my house right after the first call. They took care of the clean up, their plumber came out same day and installed a new water heater. We were at least livable again by that afternoon. Very professional, highly recommend. Came out each day during the dry out phase to check on everything. I will never use anyone else. Nice to see a company with values and treat you and the job with respect. Got plumbing or damage restoration call them and you will be very satisfied!

Called Roto-Rooter for a sink not draining. After a scheduled appointment for Wednesday, they called me back Monday due to cancellation and could have me fixed up right away. Pressley (the service tech) did a great job in taking care of the problem and also explaining some things to help mitigate the issue in the future. Roto Rooter performed a camera and scope assessment of an indicated water leak in my driveway. Water was visible in the joints if the cement panels in the driveway. A very talented professional, Kelly Gibson performed the assessment. He provided a very thorough and comprehensive report that identified the source of the leak and a recommended strategy to resolve it. My home is new construction-less than 3 years old- which really concerned me and also indicated some error during pre construction phase. Kelly answered all of our questions and helped us explain the issue to the builder. His professional insights were critical to the overall resolution of the issue. Every drain in our kitchen was overflowing which indicated a clog in the pipe where they all conjoined deeper in the house. German from Roto Rooter came to help clear out our drain and was able to find and clear it in less than 20 minutes. He was extremely cheerful and helpful.

My technician German was very professional. He explained what he was doing showed me what was clogging my drain and preventive steps. MY problem was my washing machine when it drained backed up into my sink. He was diminished in a timely manner and cleaned up when he was done. I used Roto-Roter to unclog a washer that was not draining. The tech arrived at my home within 10 minutes. I could not believe how fast they were ready to provide service. The tech was extremely nice and did a great job explaining the process of how he would find the clog and fix the problem. The thing that really impressed me was he explained how I could get the discount coupon and also he went beyond the call of duty to assist me in adjusting my hot water temp on my water heater at no additional cost. I scheduled an appointment online, after hours and I got a call first thing in the morning the next day. I got scheduled for between 1-3. I got a call at 10:30 am that they had a cancellation and could come early. Dustin was super professional and took care of our issue and an extra thing that I had not mentioned on the call. We closed on our new home and immediately found out we had a leak. Our technician was Severn, he was so very helpful and professional over the several visits he made to complete the job. After a family gathering, we discovered a plumbing issue at our aunt's home that needed immediate attention. Our Georgia cousins called Roto-Rooter in Germantown,TN. I had both plumbing service and water mitigation service. Both services were excellent. They gave great customer service and were just all around decent people. Joe did my plumbing work and Severn and his partner (whose name I don't recall just now because I communicated mostly with Severn) did my water mitigation. They were very thorough and now I'm ready for repair/replacement. I recommend this company for BOTH plumbing and water mitigation.

Noticed a small water leak behind toliet while cleaning. I had a positive experience with Roto Rooter in the past so called them for service. They were able to get to me on the same day. German was the plumber who came. He explained what he thought was wrong and got approval for each step prior to the repairs. He did a nice job and assured the area was clean when he left. I was pleased with everything but the price. The parts were approximately $40 and the bill total was approximately $283 (and that is with a $40 off coupon). I feel that the price was excessive for a 45 minute job. I am a nurse with advanced degrees and risk my own life going to work each day and my hourly wage is not close to what I was charged for 45 minutes.

The main water line to my house sprung a leak that was a like a geyser. Roto-Rooter was able to perform the needed repair in a timely and professional manner. German explained exactly what needed to be done, and why, to repair the leak. His friendly and informative nature was appreciated.
They were able to come out in one day. The plumber was very professional and diligent. He showed me everything he did. We had one little issue when he had to replace a stopper and it did not match the finish on the faucet but it was not a big deal...unless you really care about that stuff. I needed a lot of odds and ends done, so I really cannot speak to the price but he was here almost all day. If calculated by the hour, I think the rate is kind of high, but if priced by project, maybe not. Overall, I'm glad they came out in one day and finished in one day and did not try to oversell. I also had a drain tech working on lines outside, which proved to be too problematic but I cannot put that on him. They also sent some very nice men to discuss water damage from one of my leaking pipes with some mold. I really was not expecting that and was not prepared for it. I could have saved them a trip. And they should probably arrive after the plumber has checked the leak. After the plumber looked at it, we realized it's an AC issue and the damage was actually pretty minor. We can fix it ourselves. But there were very professional and very nice.

Our tenant let us know there was a drainage problem. Water and sewer were backing up in toilets and tub. We called Roto-Rooter at midnight on the 26th of October to schedule a visit to our tenant´s home on the 27th. By 8am on the 27th we were in touch with Maggie Cooley, Operations Manager for Roto Rooter in Memphis. Maggie scheduled a technician between 8 and 10 am. By before 10am the sewer line blockage was cleared. She sent us an e-mail letting us know the issue was resolved, she also indicated what the nature of the blockage was and outlined the warranty, that being 30 days. On the price she gave us a reduced price for us using Roto Rooter in other occasions. Now, the tenant is happy, we are happy and Maggie should be happy knowing she and her team took care of an issue in a prompt manner.

Communications were good before they came, our serviceman was on time, knew what he was doing and did a great job for us.
The team in the office answered immediately and got me set up with an appointment at the most convenient time. Jeff, our technician, arrived on time and found us easily. He took the time to explain each step of the process and showed us where he found the problem. He worked quickly to resolve the issue, and made sure my baths would be extra hot. Many props and brownie points to Jeff - who went above and beyond to make sure we were happy!
Fast service, friendly staff (Hunter was excellent), fixed the problem.
Lyle Roberts and Pressley Calhoun both worked at our house. They did a wonderful job. Very knowledgeable and thorough- thrilled with the work!
RotoRooter was able to unstop a sewer line when Smith Mechanical was not able to unstop it.
The quoted us 1600 for 2 small repairs. I was able to find an independent contractor to fix both for 350. This company is extorting an already struggling economy. Dont use them!

I would like to leave a review on a technician named Kelly, they took care of my apt. With no questions. The guy in charge Kelly, was a really nice young fella, well that is until he took his hat off.. then I realized he was just real easy on the eyes, especially while working. I really hate that he had to leave, but my if my apt. Stops up again… best believe I will be calling on Kelly once again for my plumbing needs.

It wasn't the company,but the initial rep that came to assist me .On 4/20/2020, I called in to the office because I was having drain issues. The technician German was sent out and upon his assessment of my issue, he said that for what I needed to have done, it would be $300.00 for using his expensive equipment. Upon giving him authorization to start working, he worked for a little bit then promptly put me to work along with him. He tried a little while longer and said that he would have to go through a drain vent on the roof and that if he did that, the cost would be more. He also told me he would call his supervisor and see if he could get some help. After his phone, call he advised me that someone would be sent out the next day to finish the job. Luckily, because he couldn't get it open, I was not charged.
Severn and Hunter were very punctual and professional. They explained everything well, removed the water and cleaned up after themselves. I would use Roto-Rooter again because of this service.
Technician arrived quickly and professionally completed all of our drain issues and repair problems with no mess at all. He was also very personable and efficient in his work. This the second time that I've used Roto-Rooter and I highly recommend and will use them in the future if I have any needs.

Had my hall bathroom and kitchen sink back up on evening. Roto-Rooter had an associate (German) at my house within an hour. German was extremely knowledgeable and conscientious. Would definitely recommend them to anyone who has plumbing needs.

At 9:00 p.m.Thursday night I noticed water backing up in our bathtub, and my husband and I knew we had to get something done quickly. We have used Roto-Rooter in the past and was very pleased. My husband made the phone call and was told that the technician was on another job , but he would get to us in about 2 hours. Sure enough we got a phone call from the technician around 11:00 p.m. that he was on his way. I fell asleep and my husband woke me up to tell me that our problem had been fixed! Recently my sink drain would not drain. After my DIY attempts failed, I knew I needed help. I thought of some personal referrals but decided I needed the professionals and Roto-Rooter came to mind. I left a voicemail message and my call was returned quickly and assigned for service. Spoke with technician over the phone and he assessed the problem with an estimate. Within an hour, he was at my home and started the repair. I could tell it wasn’t the easiest fix, but he diligently kept working thru until the blockage was found. I’m so grateful for German, Jr. performing thorough work and his patience. He also worked in accordance with COVID19 social distancing and wearing gloves. Called beforehand and showed up right on time, and fixed our problem within 10 minutes. Billy was knowledgeable, polite, and very efficient. Wasn't as expensive as other places in the area either. Will definitely be calling them again for future plumbing issues.

Mr. Jermaine Ray, Technician came to my house on 1/24/2020 to unstop my bathroom sink. Mr. Ray discussed with us what would need to be done after he checked to find out the cause of the drain being stopped up and told me that a Snake device would be needed to go down the sink drain to unstop and my pipes underneath the sink needed to be remove and the chrome pipes might Crack and he would need to purchase some more pipes which did Crack and had to be removed.
Mr. Ray discussed the cost and I mentioned that I had a coupon from their website and was told to show him on my phone and that would be deducted from the
