We had an amazing tech come out to our house and got our system running again. Unfortunately, due to the age of the system we were informed that it was running on partial capacity and would need to be replaced. He also told us about the maintenance plans and we decided to get one based on how great he was and then we scheduled for an estimate. That’s where it went down hill. The person scheduled to come out called and said that they saw we had an estimate early last year and asked why we did not get anything then. I said it was a finance issue at the time. This person had the gall to tell me that prices have increased since then and if it was a problem last year it would not be any better now. I tried calling and was on hold for 15 minutes just to be told I had to be transferred to another department. That department was “unavailable” and he was going to have someone call me back which after hours no one had called. I called back and finally got to someone and just asked to have my maintenance plan canceled. Sad that they claim gettin an award for market place ethics and then talk down to their customers. BTW, Tom Drexler, in a year finances can change.

I called them on a Sunday because I was having trouble with my ac for my home. Since it’s gotten hotter it’s not keeping up. They made an appointment for Monday and the tech came out and looked at my external a/c only and said because there was oil in the bottom of it that it would need to be replaced. He didn’t open the panel or hook anything up to the unit and said it’s his experience when there is oil where it was that the unit needs to be replaced. He spent maybe 10 minutes looking at it and it cost me $100. I didn’t believe my unit that was only 7 years old needed to be replaced so I called another company and they came out and showed me how dirty it was so they cleaned it, leveled it out and tested it and it was fine. It ended up costing me another $200 to have it cleaned and serviced but much better then the 10 minute diagnosis these guys gave me.

I live in a condominium with a Marley water AC system. The whole building cools from the chilled water of a huge Marley tower. Although several companies would work on Marley systems, ONLY Louisville Mechanical, to the best of my knowledge, will come into a residential Unit and fix a system like this. L.M. will charge a premium price, but it's worth it to have AC/heat. This building must be a thorn in Louisville Mechanical's side, but they don't leave us to the elements. They're like expensive Saints.

Our pipes froze & busted on New Years Day, Brian came out that night & took care of our plumbing. We later decided to have him replace our pipes with pex after another frozen pipe & feel confident our pipes won’t bust again. They are reliable & I highly recommend them! We will use them from now on with all our plumbing needs.

I used Brian Scroggins Plumbing today to have my clogged kitchen sink unclogged. He told me that the $79 service charge would be applied to the repair and that I would have several options for repair to choose from. The price ranged from $249 to $850 depending on which option I chose to have the drained unclogged.
It cost me $249 and the $79 was not subtracted.
*I feel that this was very high!!!

The only good thing that I can say is that they show up promptly. After that, hide your wallet. They will push you in to a service contract for the price of the repair run. They blew out the condensation line back in the summer and of course I signed up for the service contract. When they came back to inspect/clean and service the furnace, I received a laundry list of problems. It worked so I didn’t have anything done. Two weeks later it will not turn on when it got cold. Called them back and they sent the guy who had been there previously and he wouldn’t even go look at the unit. Told me he was sure that it was the blower motor because he had noted that it was leaking some oil. Told me I needed to replace the heat exchanger before they could even look at the blower to the time of 3k or replace the whole unit for 6k. The next day they sent an estimator who looked at it briefly and told me the same thing. Today, I had another company come look at it and he took one look, said it’s your drip pan sensor, twisted the elbow back to vertical and problem solved. It took 10 seconds. Cost me $40 for the service call and the heat which had been out for 3 days was back on. No one had been near the unit since it was serviced weeks ago so I’m certain the original tech either in ignorance or in fraud twisted the pipe to cause the unit to fail. Stay away! Shysters only interested in selling overpriced new units.
