They were able to send someone out same day I called! I explained to Josh the toilet issues ( waterline leaking from wall , something wrong inside tank) he looked at it and knew exactly how to fix. And he also installed my New kitchen faucet. Very nice polite person. Thanks Josh!

Do NOT, I repeat do NOT use this company for any issues with plumbing. They came to my house to fix a leak in my sink and ice maker but $153 later nothing at all was fixed. RIPOFF. They suggest I have them come back out to find where the leak is coming from, there was no time to do it on that day. I bring in a plumber to fix a problem, not tighten a couple nuts and call it a day. At one point he fixed my ice maker but when I opened the door in front of him it was pouring out water. I honestly feel stupid I gave this company any money at all. Hopefully the new ones I have from another company coming in today can actually fix my problems. I'm planning on filing a claim for this outrageous bill when nothing was fixed and filing a report with the better business bureau. Thanks for NOTHING Tom Sondergeld Plumbing. Hopefully this review will deter others from being ripped off as well.

After speaking on the phone, they gave me a rough idea of the cost. After coming out and talking to me and assessing the work, I was given an estimate. They then did the work in a very professional manner. I had all of my questions answered and am very happy that I chose Tom Sondergeld to replace my old water heater with a tankless system. Highly recommended for anybody needing plumbing work.

We had a leak in the expansion tank on the water heater which flooded the basement. After calling 7 other plumbers, they were the only company that answered their phone. They scheduled our service right away. The service men that came out were great! They were very efficient and professional. Because of this, we asked them to get us some quotes on other work we need to have done. We will only use Tom Sondergeld Plumbing as our plumber from now on.

Worst plumbing company I’ve ever worked with

If they plumb with the same skill as they drive, I would avoid using their service. One of their trucks nearly ran me off the road today because they haven't learned how to drive within the lines while texting.

My wife and I are just completing a 2 year renovation on our Louisville home. During that period of time we have dealt with dozens of contractors and I recently realized that while I was quick to post negative reviews for the contractors we had problems with, I wasn't quite as diligent in recognizing those that met or exceeded our expectations. We had a bathroom added to our basement by Tom Sondergeld Plumbing. Their estimate was fair, they showed up when they said they would, and they did quality work. I would highly recommend them for any of your plumbing needs

I had a plumber come to my house recently from Sondergeld Plumbing to fix a broken toilet valve and check on some leaks. He was polite and professional and did a great job. I will be calling Sondergeld again whenever I need a plumber.

Justin was the tech who came out and did a seamless job of replacing our kitchen faucet. It was straightforward, prompt, and we were pleased with the service provided.

Just recently, we had a leak in our basement from the water heater. Other plumbing companies told us the only way to fix it was to replace it. With their 24 hour service Tom had someone out to our house at 7 AM the next day. They fixed the leak at a quarter of the cost compared to others.

We had a busted pipe. Leaked water all in the laundry room, under the walls and down through the basement ceiling. Did I mention this was Christmas Eve afternoon on the coldest weekend in my lifetime? I called Tom Sondergeld’s emergency line and Mike answered the call. He came right out and fixed us up! Very professional and efficient. He saved our Christmas weekend. Give him MVP and employee of the year!

TSP we're great people to work with. I had a leak in my line going to the house and had to turn water off at the meter every time we flushed or showered, what a pain. Even though it was New Years Eve, Jim and Darrell came out in the afternoon and dug that line up and repaired the leak. I had a great time with those two guys they were a lot of fun and I couldn't believe they would do that. I thought the price was reasonable too they kept me from having to manually shut off the water during that 4-day weekend and we really appreciate it. Our thanks to Jim, Darrell, Mark, Kim and everybody else I dealt with.

We purchased a new dishwasher and washing machine at Lowe's 3/21. When delivery came, found valves corroded, could not turn off. Never used plumbing, here 15 yrs. Justin came and gave us info. We also asked re the dishwasher so 1 trip could cover all possibilities. Justin said the washer valves were not leaking and in order to update would require major wall cutting much work. Upon cking under sink for turn off. It was tight so we said, fix, so no issues later. Justin was very direct in what steps we could take. Also advising what we needed to do. It was a very satisfying experience and we felt trust in the whole trip. Thanks for the response and customer service. I will refer people to this company because I feel we can trust and depend on Sondergeld. Thanks.

We had a clogged kitchen sink and asked them to come check it out. They suggested it was the full septic tank and a waste of money to have them clean out the pipes for an extra cost. So we payed 258 dollars for them to come out that day. The next day we got the septic tank emptied for 375 dollars yet the sink clogged again immediately after. We called them back to let them know and they stated they needed 350 dollars to come out and clear the pipes. This was extremely unprofessional to not work with the customer since the suggestion was not the issue. We would have been fine to pay for the pipes to be cleared but not for 350 dollars.

Reply: 2 inches is untruthful on the technicians part, but we rented a snake and had it unclogged in 15 minutes. I understood paying more for someone to come back and run the snake through but not over charges of 350 dollars after paying 250 dollars for just a recommendation to get septic tank cleaned out. Still believe it is not a way to run a business, but that is your choice. Have a good day.

Water line leak. Called TSP and they scheduled me immediately. MSD and LGE wanted them to wait another five days but TSP came anyway. They located the leak, dug to China with as little lawn disturbance as possible, repaired the line and kept me informed the whole time. Very professional. Mike Pich was the plumber on site. Good man.

My water heater was leaking and they came within a couple of hours, took the old one out & reinstalled the new one. Friendly, courteous, professional. I didn't have to be without hot water at all! Thanks guys!

Disappointing. Could only schedule a visit to quote for a job four weeks later. Other plumbers could manage the same week.

I was having some issues with my garbage disposal, and they were able to get in very quick, they were extremely professional and got right to work, the two men that came were in and out and everything worked perfectly after. Brittany, who helped on the phone was also extremely professional and was extremely attentive. Highly recommend !

The office was extremely pleasant and kept me informed of the arrival of the plumber. The water heater was installed in a way that gave me more room in the laundry room and I never asked for it. And my house was as clean as when they found it. I would highly recommended Tom Sondergeld Plumbing for all your plumbing needs. Excellent job.

I highly recommend this place of business..we called and talked to Lisa who was very professional and nice and gave us a lot of help..the plumbers that showed up were very professional and did a beautiful job putting in an excess door..working on our walk in tub and putting in our new hot water tank..they did it in a timely manner the people are great to talk to and they cleaned up their mess..I love this place.

Awoke to realize we had no hot water. Since the gas heater was 25y/o, figured, it was time to RIP. Phoned Tom Sondergeld Plumbing at my daughter’s suggestion at 7am. By 8:30a, a technician, Jack, arrived. By 11:30, old was removed, code upgrades for gas lines, and drainage were met, and new water heater retrieved, and installed. Voila! We were back in business. Guess where our stimulus money was spent?! Grateful for the fantastic, efficient, pleasant service rendered during quarantine! . Will definitely phone them for any future needs!

My garbage disposal went bad and started leaking heavily under the sink. They were able to come out as soon as possible to get it replaced and the guys who came to fix it were very professional and quick to fix the problem! Highly recommend!

Came out quickly with short notice (like an hour) and were very knowledgeable, technician was polite and understood the unusual circumstances, went back and forth with me about what was going on, so I liked all that. However, my problem resolved itself as I was explaining to the technician what all I had tried, and while he did talk with me about what could have caused the intermittent issue (likely local electrical problems) i wouldn't say i was stoked that the service call costed $215 since I literally just plugged in the malfunctioning part to show that it didn't work and it started working. Either way, they know their stuff and they're fast, just a heads up that you may want want to try everything you've already tried one last time before committing to that service call. If you're cool with that price though yeah go for it. I didn't ask them what the cost was for that to be fair, got mixed up with everyone I had tried to call before.

My sump pump in the basement was giving off an awful smell, along with bath water draining out into my backyard instead of through the sewer line. I had three different plumbing companies out to try and figure out what the problem was, and what needed to be done to fix it. Each one told me what they thought it might be, but couldn't give me a definitive answer. My neighbor recommended I call Tom Sondergeld plumbing. Tom came out and was able to diagnose the problem, as well as give me a price for the job right then and there. Two weeks later, two of his employees came out to my house and were able to fix it. The issue was a cracked cast iron pipe below the basement floor. One plumbing company told me I'd have to have all the plumbing re-ran and would be somewhere in the range of $2-$3000. That wasn't even the issue, and after it was all said and done it cost me less than $900. I am very impressed with this company, and would definitely recommend them to friends and family.
