Professional service and on point with their estimate of what needed to be done during the diagnostic phase. After locating the problem which was a broken pipe in my attic, they sprung to action very fast and were in an out in no time. Kind folks and and cleaned up their mess before leaving. Gave helpful tips on how to manage my the cleanliness of my drains in order to help the life of my plumbing system. Also, they refund you the $79 deposit when you choose to have them make the repairs. I think that's a pretty sweet deal. Will definitely be using these guys again and would most definitely recommend to friends and family.

I had a recurring sewer backup in my downstairs washroom. Another plumber had originally come out and ‘cleaned’ the line, found nothing, and told me it must just be a fluke. After it happened again I knew there must be a bigger problem and called other area plumbing companies. I reached out on a Thursday afternoon and no one could even come out until the next week! Then I called Brian Scroggins Plumbing. They were there the very next morning! The technician Mike was extremely professional, honest, and knowledgeable. He immediately identified the problem and offered an extremely competitive price for the solution. He didn’t try to sell me a bunch of stuff I didn’t need, and he thoroughly explained the issue and how he was going to fix it. He is a very down-to-Earth guy that puts the customer first. Within just a couple of hours, my sewer line was as good as new. These guys are great people doing excellent work. I would highly recommend Brian Scroggins Plumbing (and especially Mike) for all of your plumbing needs!

This company is very unprofessional and overpriced. I had an appointment with them for which I had to wait three days and they did not come. I had to call them again and set up another appointment. When they did come, they did not fix the issue properly and overcharged me. I had a leak on my toilet and paid $400 to fix it. Two weeks later, it began to leak again. However, this time the water was pouring out at a very quick rate and I was unable to contain it. Before, it had been a slow drip.When I called Brian about it, he could have cared less. He told me it would be another 4 days before he could come.Since I could not wait 4 days with water pouring out on my floor, I had to call another company. They came out the next morning and were appalled that I had been charged $400 for the work that had been done.They said it looked like someone had just replaced one screw. This company completely replaced the parts in the tank for $300, and the toilet was properly fixed. Brian was so very unconcerned to leave us stranded with no toilet even after I explained to him that my mother was disabled and needed a restroom. I also ended up paying $700 for an issue which should have only cost$300. This company is rude, uncaring, overpriced and dishonest. I will never use them again.

Charged more for a cleanout than any other company. Didn't actually manage to clear the sewer line. Brian assumed the line was crushed. Quoted $20+k to jackhammer up the basement, dig up the yard, and place a new line. Called 2 other companies for a 2nd opinion. They both disagreed with his assessment. Ultimately, Roto Rooter cleared the line for $500, suggested a maintenance plan, traced all the lines for me, and left me feeling relieved - in more ways than one!

My old water heater was leaking all over the laundry room even with the water shut off. They immediately called me from my online application to them and within 4 hours, BOOM he was inside my home, stopping the leak, accessed the break down of the old heater, removed it and its brand new and impressive replacement was installed in about 2 hours! Peace of mind is what I got from this plumbing company!! I'm keeping them on my speed dial :)

Highly recommended! Brian and his crew take pride in their excellent work and customer service. I had a water main repaired (emergency fix) then replaced, a new sump pump installed and a washer/dryer service moved from upstairs to the basement. Good quality but very slow and lazy. 4 guys couldn't move the water heater. We used 3 guys while they watched.

We had our kitchen faucet worked on by Scroggins Plumbing. He was able to come out assess the repairs needed and complete the repairs all in one day. It had been a few years since I used them, saw a post online about how terrible and overpriced they are, and that reminded me about how I got overcharged. $1200 charge after they had unclogged the drain. Needless to say we have not and will not use them again.

While the employee was a very nice and professional man , but they only try to upcharge everything and didn’t come close to fixing the problem ,not his fault. whoever they have to call I. The office is likely the issue. So almost $900 still not fix. Had another come out next day fixed 30 minutes for $215.

We ended up having to do some major plumbing upgrades on an older home which made me very nervous. I cannot say enough about what a nice job Mike did for us. He did tons of work in 2.5 days. Mike was very patient and explained everything step by step and answered my endless questions. We have found a local plumbing company that we can depend on and trust.

Brian has done a great deal of plumbing work for my family. Ten years ago, he replaced my sewer line, and a few years later, he replaced the pipes when we did a bathroom remodel. We had a water main break, was without water, and had trouble getting anyone to respond in a timely manner. Brian was there the same day and stayed to replace the pipe until it was finished. We called them again for an upgrade to our water heater; Mike installed a tankless system the same day as well as several other plumbing upgrades. They showed me the problem and gave me options on pricing

This is honestly the first review I have ever written in my life. I noticed a crack in my foundation that had a very bad smelling leak of water coming through. After attempting patchwork myself, I finally climbed underneath my deck to see what was going on that water would be coming through even when it did not rain. To my surprise there was a puddle of water under my deck with the clean out pipe sitting on it's side. Since the area was not accessible, I started tearing up boards and digging a trench out to my yard for the water to drain. Then out of no where I saw a bubble come up out of the water. Hesitant to just stick my hand in there, I attempted to clear out more and more of the water until finally I saw that the PVC was completely full and backed up. (this was on a Sunday)... knowing absolutely nothing about plumbing, I took a recommendation from a co-worker and called Scroggins Plumbing. The woman I spoke to, Jessica, was nice and was able to accommodate getting someone out that same day. It came with a $149 technician fee, which, whatever, covered his drive time and what not for coming out to inspect the issue and provide me with options. We spent about 20 minutes outside talking when I showed him where the septic tank was and removed the lid. The tank was completely full and it did not appear that the tank was on. So the guy told me he was going to take the tank pump out and it would cost me about $300-500 cause it was a lot of manual labor. I left him to it and walked back inside. 15 minutes later the tech knocks on my door and I see my extension cord running from my house to the tank. I look into the tank and it's now half full and the pump was on. He told me that it was just the outlet and I would need to get an electrician out to fix it. Thinking that was the end of it, he told me he was going to charge me another $175 for that. I sort of shook my head and laughed and just let the guy leave. I called the office and spoke to Jessica within minutes explaining to her that I was not paying another $175 for 15 minutes of running an extension cord, identifying the problem, and not being able to fix it. She kept saying but he did extensive diagnostics as if that was going to magically make this highway robbery okay. It didn't. I told her how insane that was and any good person would have seen the massive amount of work I did and just said, there is your problem, sorry I could not fix it and that would have been that. Especially considering I already paid them $150 for him to come out and check out the problem...I rudely hung up on her and I am waiting for them to charge me so I can dispute it. Such a bad experience.

They came out within an hour of calling which was wonderful since we had a main line clog. Friendly and knowledgeable.I did think the price was quite high for what he did but I wouldn't be surprised if it was comparable to others but I didn't get any other quotes so...but pleased with the work done.

Had him install a new sewer line to a house to repair it for clogs per his recommendation. Where he tapped onto pipe have had clogs every 6 months since. He refuses to answer calls to repair.

Though the actual work was completed to our satisfaction, I can NOT recommend Brian Scroggins Plumbing. Firstly, what others are saying is true. They are very costly. We spent $5200 to have our plumbing scoped, a cleanout valve installed, and maybe 10 feet of PVC pipe replaced in the repair of our sewer drain in our front yard.

That's not our main issue though. While repairing our sewer drain, it was discovered that it had been damaged by a utility subcontractor that had bored straight through it, while installing fiber optics. So, in the months long process of attempting to be reimbursed, we've had nothing but issues. The utility subcontractor's insurance company needs itemized invoices from Brian Scroggins Plumbing, of course. Shouldn't be a problem. Any business I've ever been a client of has been able to provide this. Brian Scroggins REFUSES to provide us with itemized invoices. Meanwhile, we have been stuck in la-la-land while the subcontractor's insurance company waits on invoices that Scroggins will never be sending to them. With $5200 sitting on a credit card, racking up interest charges, month by month.

We suspect that we were pretty heavily overcharged. That's the only reason I can think of - that Scroggins doesn't want us to see the breakdown of prices to know just how badly we were overcharged.

Furthermore, when this was originally beginning, the utility subcontractor (who's company had punctured our sewer drain) claimed that Brian Scroggins had told him that there was $18000 in damages, and that our house had been flooded! He was planning on being the middle man, between the subcontractor's who owed us money, and my wife and myself. That way he could try to pocket $14,400 and give us $3600 back (not even our whole $5200 that we spent - how greedy can you be?!). This is hearsay, but I do believe the subcontractor. He would have no reason to lie to us.

Again, the work got done, and it seems like it was done well. But I wish I could go back in time and skip over this business in the phone book. If there is ANY chance that you will be making an insurance claim on your plumbing problem, do not use these guys. Use anybody else - and make sure, before they come out, that they can provide an itemized invoice. Learn from our lessons, and save yourself the trouble.

Brian Scroggins and company are true professionals. They’re very honest, fair, and up front about everything, and as a customer this is very much appreciated! The staff is super friendly and professional and they provide exceptional service. I recommend this company to anyone in need of a trustworthy plumber that provides excellent service!

Great to work with and caring. The team was responsive and the office manager, Jessica was wonderful.

We had gotten other larger companies to come out to look at our sewer pipes backing up, and they pushed a lot of work and large estimates. Brian came out to look at our sewer issue and gave better/different prices ranges to pick that suited our budget and needs. We had 10 people coming to our house for Thanksgiving, so stress was an understatement. His team worked diligently and kept us in the loop. We’re so thankful we found them to work on our house.

I greatly appreciated Tim and his ability to do all the work I needed done. He was very professional and he had a great attitude. Scroggins Plumbing was quick to return my call when we had an emergent issue with an outdoor faucet. They were able to get a technician here within 1.5 hours well within the anticipated arrival time the technician was professional, knowledgeable, and offered several different options to repair our problem. The service required cutting through some drywall and moving the washer and dryer. The tech, Austin, moved them himself and even swept up the dryer lint that is impossible to get to without moving the dryer lol. Ultimately Austin replaced some pipe, an outdoor faucet and added a water shut off valve specifically for that line and did it all within about an hour and half. 5 out of 5 I would recommend Austin and Scroggins Plumbing to anyone who needed a plumber in the area.

Excellent service on even on Christmas Eve! We were so thankful to have Brian himself come out to repair our busted pipe on a weekend, holiday, and evening no less (we had a house full of family and getting the leak fixed was a necessity). During an unseasonably cold day our exterior water spigot ruptured flooding our laundry room. Initially, our copper pipe had disjointed from a piece connecting to the spigot. Brian added us to the que and allowed us time to try the repair ourself. When we turned water back to full pressure after applying some pipe sealant to the disjointed sections, we heard a loud noise: the copper pipe itself split, something we could not repair. Making matters worse our house water valve was so old it didn't function fully and did not shut off water to the spigot. Thankfully, Brian came out and was able to replace the broken pipe. We learned that the insulation around the spigot had been removed, and by placing insulation in the area we were able to stop a terrible draft that we had been experiencing in the laundry room (which contributed to our frozen pipe). It wasn't cheap, but Brian came when we needed him, and on Christmas Eve no less!

So happy Brian happened to be stopped at the intersection in his truck. I used Brian Scroggins Plumbing today to have my clogged kitchen sink unclogged. He told me that the $79 service charge would be applied to the repair and that I would have several options for repair to choose from. The price ranged from $249 to $850 depending on which option I chose to have the drained unclogged.
It cost me $249 and the $79 was not subtracted.
*I feel that this was very high!!!

We just purchased a new washer and dryer only to discover that the new hookup necessitated replacement of the water valves also. Brian was very professional, polite and detailed in our options and did a great job. We also had him do a reseal of a toilet. He went over and above with that job as well. Neat and tidy. Jessica in the office was super nice. Will definitely use them again should future projects arise.

did not show up for first appoinent.. Needed drain unclogged.. was told it would be a $79 daignositc fee which is ok since it would go toward the drain.. They came back with 5 options that ranged from ripping out my pipes $1,300 to simple unclogging.. at 350.00 -- they did me a favor and charged me $250.. I needed the drain unclogged and paid 250..kicking myself as I should not have.. please do not call them unless you want to be ripped off...

Once again, Scroggins Plumbing came through for me in a pinch! This Company is serious business and they are very professional. I called several plumbing companies. Brian Scroggins Plumbing was the only one who could get my difficult plumbing problem fixed. The other companies said they couldn't do it or wouldn't do it. Great service and great rates. Went over and beyond to fix my plumbing issues.

Needed immediate drain repair. They said they'd have a spot in the afternoon open, which was fine. Showed up mid morning anyway and started working. The cost seemed high to me but it was worth it to have it done right by professionals. Took them a long time due to the complexity and other problems, but they stuck with it. Great work!

Scroggins Plumbing did a complex plumbing job for us in stellar fashion and with very competitive pricing! They replaced old valves, bathtub drains and installed faucets, shower heads, hoses, etc... They had to cut through walls to gain access to some of the work and did so with precision while remaining focused on cleanliness and appearance. This was our first interaction with this business but after our experience it will not be our last. They communicated extremely well before, during and after the job, and all 3 plumbers involved in the work (including Brian Scroggins) were very professional and polite. The work was done to perfection and timely, plus they provided excellent guidance with no pressure to add additional services or products. We are very happy with our experience with Scroggins Plumbing.

If you’re looking for reasonable, transparent pricing and punctual service, you’re gonna want to call someone else. Mr Scroggins should be ashamed.

Brian said he would be here around 1. Then called at 2 and asked me to pay the $79 diagnostic fee in advance of their arrival.

Once they arrive (late) they will upcharge you every step of the way. The diagnostic fee grew from $79 to $300 5 minutes after they walked through the door.

10 minutes later they presented me with with a list of absurdly priced options. Must have been some very advanced diagnostics to take a whole extra 10 minutes. They try to hide the pricing behind a laundry list of jargon. “Basic ignition system renovation”, “mechanical safety system rejuvenation”, “tank contamination service”.

Just be transparent - you drained the tank and replaced the gas thermostat on a water heater. I guess if you did that you couldn’t try to upsell to the $1200 GOLD option.

To top it off he charged an “after hours fee” even though he was done at 6. When I explained my disappointment with that, he tried to couch it as a “trip charge for the extra 2 hours after 4PM.” If he’d arrived at when he said, then he wouldn’t have been here “after hours”.

Called Brian Scroggins Plumbing for a plugged drain. Called them around 9 am and they had a technician show up approximately an hour and half later. Austin Mathis was the technician, very polite and answered any questions we had. Showed us what was wrong and explained to us what our options were. Did not push any certain option on us and the prices are very reasonable. Austin was professional and explained clearly what he would do.

I found Brian online when the plumber my landlord recommended didn't answer his phone on a Sunday. Brian came out the same day, was quick, and efficient. He even recommended some minor work which would prevent corrosion in the future.

Brian came out to diagnose a water heater problem and took care of it on the spot. I had them install a backup sump pump a few days later. Mike did a great job.

Brian was fantastic. Open, honest, did quality work. A go to if I have plumbing issues in the future.

Scheduled an appointment for service a few days ago. They were supposed to come out this morning between 9am/10am. My husband calls Scroggins when it's past 10am. Scroggins lies to my husband and tells him he didn't think we actually had an appointment! When we spoke on the phone I explained to him the work that needed to be done, he said he could do it Mon or Tues the following week, we agree on Tuesday between 9am & 10am for him to come out and do the work. So apparently this guy totally forgot about the appointment and decided he would lie to my husband rather than just explaining that he forgot - which would have been fine! Stuff happens. But lying was very disrespectful. If you make an appointment, make sure to call them the day before to remind them or you'll be in a pickle like we are now!

Had an outdoor water leak going to our barn we had been trying to dig up for 3 days. Called Scroggins and they came out same day and were honest about what they could do cost wise, which resulted in us calling a leak detection company. Located the leak and then Brian and Tim returned to fix said leak. The cost was economical and Brian, Tim, and Jessica all provided top notch service. Although I hope we don’t need them, will definitely call them back for any other waterline/leak needs.

We had a clogged drain, so we called this company to come out and clear it. We knew which isolated pipe was clogged and we told the company this. However, this company charged us a $129.00 diagnostics fee. Their diagnostics was merely looking at our pipe locations and telling us where they thought the clog was, which was right where we said it was. They then presented several options, with the most expensive ($1,200+) option first. I told them we would go with their basic option that was $340 (in addition to their $129.00). So, to have them clear our pipe, we were given a base price of $469.00. After one to two hours of work, the plumber said he was unable to clear the blockage and that we would have to pay for the package that was the next level up. This was just a couple days before Christmas, so it was urgent. We were stuck in between a rock and a hard place, so we agreed. Our new total was $662.00 for that service call. The employee went to our basement (with an open ceiling), cut a pipe, drilled/cleared the blockage, and put a boot on. The individual who did the work was professional. Therefore, I left a positive review that day. However, looking back, the pricing is highly unreasonable and questionable. Due to this pricing, I made a recommendation to someone else a couple days ago to go elsewhere when they had a pipe burst due to low temperatures. That company responded and completed the job in a professional manner for $142.00. They did not charge an outrageous diagnostics fee either.

Brian is always great to work with. This is the third time I've used their services. They've done some drain clean out. They remodeled my bath. Today he replaced and hooked up the water to my new fridge. Always on time, respectful, and easy to work with. My dog also likes him...and she doesn't like ANYBODY!

They were awesome. Came out in the cold due to the freeze to repair broken pipes. There isn't a higher rating than 5 stars. They did an excellent job, were quick and upfront. They are absolutely lifesavers in my book.

I wouldn't recommend this plumber on a bet. Pay 225.00 to auger a toilet tells me its fixed and 2 days LATER it backs up again. Call them (this is Friday) and they can't come back until Monday or Tuesday. So all weekend waiting ? The reason I went with them was that the 89.00 visit fee I told it was 2 toilets and guy while I was waiting to get the ok, tells me that that was for only one toilet. Originally estimate was 330.00 I declines, they came back with 225.00 they were there so I said go on. Wish I had just gone with the other plumber.

We woke up to our sewer pump alarm going off. I started calling around and Brian Scroggins was the first plumbing company who could get to us. While Alex (I believe that was his name) was nice, he completely misdiagnosed our issue. He told me our discharge line was improperly installed and they would need to dig up our front yard and replace the piping. They offered a price range of fixes. The lowest was their band-aid fix starting at $4,718 and the most expensive was their platinum at just over $14,000. Anyway, I decided to get a second opinion and am so glad I did. The other plumbing company was able to diagnose the problem for $99 and get me in touch with the company who could actually perform the repairs. The repairs were done the next morning and ultimately cost me nothing because the pump was still under warranty. Of course I'm still out the $350 diagnostic fee Brian Scroggins Plumbing charged me.

Very good service and explained quality, performance, maintenance and pricing in terms I could understand. No pressuring or down talking to me which is very important. Considering I did a lot of my maintenance and installations in past myself. Thank you.

Did a great job, came out quick, very friendly. Knocked out a bathtub faucet swap with some added shutoff valves in about 2 hours. Highly recommend, I will be calling for any further plumbing work.
